How to Transform Any Terrain into Epic Lore Friendly Mountains! – Minecraft Worldedit Tutorial

Welcome back to another Minecraft video so in my last video I showed you how to make mountains or I guess Hills as well the only thing is I didn’t show how to do it on a non-super flat world so such as this so I just wanted to show you how

We can potentially do that stay tuned this is what I created look at this remember there’s there’s a forest here this is what I turned it into stay tuned to figure out how I did it so for example let’s say this entire area here

I want to turn it into a sort of bigger Mountain but we have all these trees in the way we have of course there’s none here oh right here these grass here we need to get rid of those we need we need to get rid of flowers everything that’s

In here so I’m going to show you how to do that so we can make the terrain usable so first off we want to get out we want to get out a wand so let’s do like a stone pickaxe so then we’ll do slash slash brush sphere air

Six okay so I did Mask oak underscored leaves comma Oak underscore log and there we go so now we just want to brush away everything that is here oh we’re gonna have to do Birch too okay so we’ll do slash up Arrow we’ll do Birch log and Birch um leaves

There we go those are gone too and just clear out everything here now we’re gonna need to go a little bit further than we want to just because we don’t want anything intersecting with our build do a bit further than you would actually build so for example if I want

To build like right here is one of the edges of their Mountain that we’re creating we need to clear out all this area so just in case our brushes later don’t affect like these trees that are standing over here okay I think this is perfect we’ve uh cleared out most of the

Area here the only problem is we got a few blocks that we need to get rid of such as these beehives unfortunately we’re gonna have some angry bees and we need to get rid of these grass so we can do up arrow and then we can do grass

Because that won’t get rid of the grass blocks but I’ll get rid of this oh and this one’s Tall Grass isn’t it um tall underscore grass there we go and we need to get rid of this because it will affect our build and it’ll create a hole in our Mountain

All the way to where these grass sits there we go I would say this is pretty clear now I don’t see any grass I’m probably going to encounter it later and then I’m oh there’s some yeah there’s there’s just a few but we got

The most of it so now we have the option on whether or not we want to get rid of this grass layer because we’re going to be building on top of it however this is not necessary this is only if you’re worried about players um building into your builds

And then all of a sudden there’s this huge dirt layer so if you’re really worried about that we can get out a tool you can do like a golden ax brush sphere Stone how how far can we go oh we can only go six uh we can change that in the ini but

That’s fine for now so I did Stone now we don’t want to do mask grass comma dirt grass underscore block remember that part that’s important so now we’re going to turn all this grass and the dirt below it so then we don’t have to worry about this layer

Whatsoever actually this is a good way to get rid of all these these grass things because once I place this down it just gets rid of them so you could do that instead okay now that we got our spot here just kind of test something out

Tree big and can we right click on here yep Creator so we don’t need to plant a dirt block down you could put down a tree so I’m just getting a tree big and we’re gonna do like my last video what we did and it’s just we’re gonna fill up this

Terrain with trees and we’re doing this so we can get the randomization for our mountain and I’ll take you back once I have something uh nice to show actually this looks like the epicenter right here I got an idea let’s make it really really dense here because it’s sort of the epicenter we’re

Looking for and then we can place some on top here just to make that a bit better Make it a little funny just so it’s not like a pinnacle oh this cool cave is gonna get closed off what does this even lead it just leaves deep under water wait is this the ocean oh my gosh that’s pretty cool that’s a cool King all right I think I got something good

And I’m also trying to get a curve to the Pinnacle of this mountain so as you can see I have like one layer up here two layers there a bit more here and then it gets really dense in here so hopefully when all the sand falls it’s gonna make a really really nice

Um sort of curvature to it but now what we’re going to need to do is we need to turn all of these leaves into sand so we’re gonna do plus one at the highest position in one corner and I think this covers yeah this covers both ways and

It’s not going to affect those trees over there and then we’re going to go all the way over here now we don’t have to worry about these spruce trees because we’re not targeting spruce trees it looks like we need to get a bit lower

So what we can do is we can go uh game mode spectator and go under the ground how about yay far then pause two and then we’ll go back to creative mode yeah I think that encapsulates all of it and yep we’re not affecting any other

Trees just this now we want to turn all this into sand but it’s going to lag really really bad so I’m just gonna walk away okay now we want to do replace Oak log comma Oak leaves oh if we do dirt it’s going to do anything that’s inside too

I think we’re gonna have to do it yep we’ll have to do dirt as well and turn everything into sand okay as you can see we’re not in the lag Zone but we can see it slowly evolving if we go anywhere near it’s going to lag

Really bad for us okay I think we’re good to come closer um I’m just going to do a D cell oh God it’s lagging it’s lagging okay we’re fine we’re fine I think that’s pretty cool uh we could add some more meat to it because it’s not very thick uh one

Way we can do this is we can do let’s say diamond shovel uh brush Fierce and five and I’m just gonna Place some random blocks all over the place oh maybe we want to do mask air just so we don’t go underneath some of the blocks and we’re gonna replant some trees

Just because uh we need more meat to this well let’s keep this kind of area it’s nice and flat and I want to keep that cave engines but it’s getting smaller and smaller okay that should be good I added some thickness to it now we can add some more trees on top

And just cover it because that will give us some randomization oh no I killed some sheep I don’t want any trees here nope we are not touching this area where the cave is I’m liking how this Pinnacle is turning out but I’m gonna add more to it all

Right perfect we got some more trees on top um one other Technique we can do too I’m gonna bring a wooden shovel we can do brush sphere sand six mask oak leaves and Oak locks a log and then dirt because we got some dirt up there too

And then we can manually do this though keep in mind if you do this you may miss some locks so we have to be extra careful that we’re going through this but I guess you can use this technique if you’re just planting down a few trees

You don’t have to worry about them I’m just making sure I get everything here this is a lot more fun than just getting a command just do every single one at once now we need to make this smooth because it doesn’t really add up well so let’s get like a stone ax

Brush smooth six and then if you remember like my last video I’m gonna use an iron shovel we need a brush cylinder sand uh let’s go fly okay let’s uh smooth it out be careful about your smoothing you might need to go down a little bit oops

I turned it into that uh brush smooth three yeah we don’t want to lose too much detail so use a lower smooth rate and you won’t lose as much detail look at that we’re carving into the mountain here and that cave still there that cave is still there look at that

When you go too deep into the mountain it’s gonna really take away that detail so be careful of that and that’s usually results in too big of a brush here let’s get like a little bit smoother here get some flat tops here because we don’t really need these Pinnacle looking

Things it’s uh better to have just like a flat looking top yeah make sure to edit the bottoms though if it’s too deep it’s gonna look funny like this it’s already looking a little funny yeah so when I go too deep see how it does like this corner thing you don’t want

That that’s unimersive we need something different oh yeah then we can flatten this area this is nice basically we want nothing that looks like our brush wand has been there let’s go brush smooth too this I need to be very delicate with because yeah let’s keep that well

Let’s bring it down it’s a bit too high there we go a bit of a hole here let’s just lower it just to smooth it out to almost look like you can climb up this thing so make sure it Blends in with the terrain at the bottom there this is amazing this is

Perfect now if you remember in my last video we did an overlay command on all of this the only problem is when we do an overlay command it’s going to do it on everything in our selection so we’re gonna have a problem with that so that’s

Why it’s usually better to do this on a super flat world and then you can copy paste it into a section here and actually I didn’t show this but here let me show if we did like pause one here boss two here copy so if we are to

Paste any of this in it’s going to copy all the air blocks in and let me show an example let’s do copy here and then I’ll go like this paste see how it’s copying all that air in like we don’t want any of that undo what we want is paste minus a

And look at that it only copies the blocks it gets rid of all the air blocks so if you’re doing this in a super flat world it’s better and then you can paste it in like that and then do minus a so it’s going to be tough to do an overlay

Command but we can try and figure out how to do it so first off I kind of want to turn all this into stone and then we can figure out how to put the grass blocks off so let’s just do plus one let’s go all the way down here and then game

Mode spectator all the way down about here plus two I’m gonna affect a bit of the ocean but I don’t really mind this is just an example chemo creative and we’re gonna replace sand to Stone 58 000 blocks have been changed deselect there we go now we can see what it looks

Like here now I think that looks Wicked so let’s just get rid of some of this Spruce stuff because if you get an overlay command and you put it on top of um Spruce it’s going to be you’re gonna need to destroy the tree because it’s

It’s gonna be too hard to smooth perfect as long as you don’t do an overlay command on a tree you’re good I think water we can easily get rid of plus one plus two slash slash overlay grass block but as you can see it’s getting everywhere this overlay command now I wanted three

So we’ll deal with the con let’s do four let’s deal with the consequences and then we’ll do D cell to see the damage yeah we’re gonna need to get rid of some grass so let’s get out another right pickaxe brush sphere air five and we’re gonna mask grass block and dirt because some

Of it’s starting to turn into dirt and let’s just get rid of all this because we don’t need this let’s just leave that open a little bit I think that was too much oh we don’t want this none of this though I am getting rid of a bit much we

Can use the smooth command here oh we want to knot in here not no not Nada now let’s just get rid of this I am not keeping track of which tools are which brush smooth six okay brush smooth six and now we’re just gonna merge yeah you see what happens

When you touch trees this is what happens undo it’s not nice we have to undo that so don’t go too close two trees doesn’t make it look pretty there we go I don’t mind leaving that stone there I think that’s fine there we go well that cow was dying but we saved it

Perfect and if you remember like the last time you can go in here slash slash fix water and let’s just do 15. there we go we don’t have to worry about that water now um looks like we’re smoothing a bit too much here but in in all honesty I don’t mind

Leaving this overhang here I think it looks cool because it’s not equal but we can go like that we just need to put down the smoothing a little bit three yeah there we go put down the smoothing a little bit right in there a little bit look at that it’s merging into the

Scenery here okay now the question is do we still have our cave it should be right down here no yes we still have our cave yes now look at this I think this is a snazzy piece of land that we’ve made now we need to get another position over top of

It so it came mode spectator oh that was cool I did it before I hit the ground pause two now we need to put the Flora command in so Flora and then we’ll do it a few times just to really populate that land and then we’re gonna deselect just so we can

See everything look at that look at all the Flora now what did I use for tree Pig I can’t remember I will tree big now let’s start populating this with trees I’m gonna use a wooden pickaxe and we’ll just do tree so we’ll get small trees in oh I’m

Liking these small trees being all over the place on this oh should we put a tree right on top I think we can put it right there but not on the very very top I’m not trying to dense it up I don’t want to put too much trees on because

Then we won’t be able to see the beautiful mountain we’ve created but enough that it looks Lively and then I’m thinking maybe some trees right here okay let’s see how it looks oh my gosh wow I really like how this turned out is that the key no that’s not the cake now

We can add some water because why not I’m not doing like a pool of water like last time I think that’s fine this is fine I feel like this has many unique patterns on it that you couldn’t have really gotten any other way and I feel

Like it kind of Blends really well with this environment don’t mind these because we used to have a forest here and then we cleared it made a mountain even kept some of the caves in this would be a perfect area to build a village damn I want to go back to
