iJevin – Hermitcraft 9 – Ep. 57: DECKED OUT HARD MODE! (Minecraft 1.20 Let’s Play)

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode on the hermitcraft server I hope you guys are all having a great day today I am doing fantastic starting off today’s episode over at the Decked Out main room really just kind of checking out everybody’s rooms these all look so

Good uh to start today’s episode we are actually going to be doing our own room as well which is very exciting got a pretty cool idea for what I want to do and hopefully text out will be no longer under maintenance in a little bit because in today’s episode I am doing my

First ever hard run yes I’m excited but I’m also I’m a little nervous because you know hard is something that I’ve never actually even completed a normal run before so with that being said you know it’s going to be a challenge it’s going to be a challenge man these rooms

Are awesome looking I love scents oh that’s amazing oh somebody is uh somebody is under under construction here okay okay yeah we got Cleo so yeah all all of these rooms look pretty fantastic Etho doing sort of a shout out to the older Decked Out deck that one

With all the artifacts on the wall there that’s really cool so I think uh to get started here we really just need to take care of our room I’m not gonna do a time lapse or anything because it would be like a four second time lapse so anyways

Let’s get into it all right our little alcove cubby hole type thing is done I really like it I think it turned out pretty well I wanted to do sort of a foresty theme I really like this type of building uh building custom bios and stuff is one of my absolute favorite

Things to do in Minecraft so it only made sense to do it here so in our room we’ve got azalea leaves with the flowering azaleas then we’ve got some uh some oh those are rooted dirts rooted dirts uh hanging down plus we got some Spore blossoms got some lighting uh in

The floor I decided to actually go with moss because the biome that we’re in is like a darker grass and I really like bright grass so bright grass for the the floor we’ve got the Moss we got grass some flowers these are my favorite flowers in Minecraft they kind of are

The perfect color I really like them uh we got some sugar cane got a little bit of a pond here with some gravel we’ll try to put as much detail into this area as I possibly could and for the walls I decided to do initially it was gonna be

Like a sky so it’s gonna do sort of like the waiting room where the queue is but changed my mind on that instead I went with like stone and a site and a dirt mixture and honestly it came together really good it’s got kind of a tree

Naturally vibe to it and it turned out really well so let me know what you think about this uh we’re done with this now we’ve got a sign up there that says hijaven so we’re feeling good there I think it’s time to get into some runs

Okay it’s time to do our runs so we’re gonna be doing two runs in this video the first one we’re gonna be doing is level two that’s so we can get warmed up then we’re gonna move to the Hard Mode which I talked about at the beginning of

The video so in our box we still have uh our our same deck that we had before because I haven’t gotten any other cards so let’s put our shard in oh I’m so excited I must have so nervous I don’t know why I get so nervous uh

It’s so so satisfying to play this game okay all right we got this okay spawn has been set let’s eat some food there we go we are full on saturation nothing else on our body view bobbing I’m gonna turn view bobbing off real fast there we go apply good to

Go so it is on medium as we speak so that is getting like I said that’s gonna be our first run all right uh uh oh there we go I was about to say is it broken no please don’t be broken I want to run tonight all right oh so sketchy

No not that sketchy but oh there’s so many bombs down there all right let’s see put them up put that in our offhand and the sounds are blowing my ears off right now turn that down just a little bit a little bit more okay I need to do this

There we go try to get a little bit better sound I have changed my sound settings because I know that they were low so I just you know I want to be a little bit more careful we have a level one for our first run so that’s pretty good honestly um

Okay not seeing any baddies just yet okay we’re gonna go this way nobody’s right there sneak can he get across there oh oh I guess we’re going this way oh that was so sketchy okay I’m gonna grab this Berry real fast I can’t believe he was right there dude

Okay having us go straight so it could be the longer room forever Hunter man we’re getting so many treasure Hunters okay still going forward but to the side let’s grab this barrier real fast oh lost it okay gotta be careful there okay I actually think it’s gonna be like back that way

So we’re gonna go up through the middle room I think I don’t see any ravagers Oh come on there we go all right so telling us straightforward so I think we’re gonna go upstairs oh my God apparently jumping is not in the program today we’ll see if I can get out of here like a normal person okay that means there’s gotta be ravagers upstairs right Where are they No Loot there there’s a ravager right there okay interesting so I’m I kind of I want to assume that the compass might be in the Crypt I could be wrong there but we’ll see I may need to go around the other side I’m gonna go this way

Because he just saw me and it sucks because I did see that ember right there too so okay we’re gonna go this way instead we’re gonna try to go the long way here come on buddy pull him around [Applause] do we have any loot up here we have some coins nothing super serious

So that’s just bad luck all right we’re gonna have to do some more Juke moves here pull him this way come on baby go this way if that door is closed up there I might die in here and it’s closed that is unfortunate oh I wonder if the stumble caused that

I gotta get out of here okay so we’re in a really bad position right now I gotta get out of here oh come on come on I can’t jump up right there gonna get out of here man I need those uh berries first though okay so I don’t know if that door is

Actually gonna reopen or not that really sucks because I really need to get through there okay so that means we have to go back down through the middle oh that’s sketchy so I need to pull this guy out come on Bobby can I go this way come on let’s do

It buddy so that other guy should be right up here too I’m just gonna have to literally Juke past this guy right now there’s also gonna be the ravager in the main room here still unless he ran the other way Grab that I don’t know where the other guy that was in here went okay so we know that that ravager is like right there I don’t know if he saw me or not thank you I’m guessing it’s like right over here Right here uh oh there it is okay so we have def Loop 13. that’s not bad We know where they’re at we just gotta get out now okay we can do this nothing in there that I want that was a sketchy play I shouldn’t have done that okay now I know that there’s the one at the beginning so we gotta figure out how to get past him all right

Let’s see here so maybe we pull him this way if he’s still up there you guys gonna say so he’s gonna need to come this way come on buddy come on Dumbo so we need to get him over here oh I’m so scared Come on follow me oh he’s not following okay I’m gonna pull him this way the other one didn’t follow me okay we can get out we can do it we are out of we are out of uh power juice okay oh did we make it oh my God that

Was so sketchy dude there were so many obstacles that run oh okay oh oh my God that was so scary all right so we got def Loop we got to 15 Embers total not too bad not too bad and we got one Crown as well so oh my heart dude oh

Lord that was so scary oh my God um all right so we’ve got 14 total Embers first things first uh where did the crown box go did he put that somewhere else press the button for your artifact uh what I’m a little confused oh you take your take the artifact

Sure okay I don’t I guess the crown thing is not here anymore interesting okay so we have 14 numbers we need to oh unfortunately so we can do block two or block to sneak or stability so Hazard or Clank we can do treasure hunter or we can do frost number so we’ve done

These already um it’s unfortunate that we didn’t get another Ember though because that would have been very helpful in terms of the Ember Seekers these two right here unfortunately so I think to make the best of this um so here’s Here’s my thought process right we want we obviously we want Clank

And Hazards to both be low right now in this stage of the game Clank is less important to me than hazards are because if Hazard would have been open we could have gotten through the door much faster so I think I’m going to do Hazard so that’s eight put that in there okay

Then I’m going to do Moment of clarity there we go awesome so again I’m not really sure what to do with the gold coins right now so um can I do anything with them over here it doesn’t oh it’s right here now okay so put that in here there we go

Uh put the coins in there place all coins and crowns into the barrel before leaving okay we’re done there so the only thing is I still have a key so press the button fall down and we’re gonna die what’s up man how you doing homie

Okay so now that we are good to go press this if you only died inside the dungeon uh we didn’t die inside the dungeon okay we uh we did very well that episode or that that run so let’s uh grab anything that’s in there press the button

Okay I don’t know if I’m ready for the hard one but I’m gonna do it anyways because I said I was gonna do it so the current deck is looking like One Moment of clarity we have a plus two to stability um then we have three Ember Seeker two

Sneak and one treasure hunter in terms of crowns we should have four crowns now uh and it’s cool that we get to keep the artifacts though that’s awesome okay well it’s time to do the hard mode run that I’ve been talking about I’m so nervous

Um uh we are going to be using Moment of clarity for this run I think it’s important to put all of our eggs in this basket to maybe get a lot of Embers this time so Shard entry let’s do it man hopefully we um we can get a good one

And if we have to go to level three hopefully it’s not that hard to find I do think it might be by the ship in there so I’m gonna go check that out I’ve never actually seen it though so I have an idea okay so again make sure our spawn is set

We’re good to go there um okay I have nothing else in my inventory let’s eat some carrots there we go put the carrots up all right all right number three okay put the deck in here there we go oh man oh gotta breathe Kevin gotta breathe man

There we go all right hopefully we get a good artifact I almost kind of hope it’s like a level two artifact but if it’s a level three that’s fine we’ll try our best so we’re just gonna we’re gonna keep our cool we’ll be all right we’re gonna do okay okay we got this

All right what do we got what do we got level two okay we got a level two all right so we kind of know where the first initial ravager is probably gonna be considering this we just did the other run a minute ago so we know probably gonna be in the main

Room up here still want to be careful though we’re just gonna play this like we always do to sneak take our time okay and we get through on the other side up here can there’s any ravagers up here no good there okay um I there’s got to be a ravager like right

Up here okay we got I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to get past that uh am I cornered oh that’s so sketchy I gotta go the long way oh my god dude oh that was so gnarly okay we know where some berries are so

We have to get to those right now Is he right there no okay not not today game not today all right okay so we know we gotta go to level two I think we’re gonna go straight up the guts we have treasure hunter so we’ve got some coins there let’s grab that one I know there’s got to be another ravager

Around here somewhere There he is come on baby so I don’t see a key up there a Moment of clarity yeah that’s a good one take that oh no I’m oh man no okay I think I’m probably actually gonna try that again I think I was only gonna do two runs but oh so bad okay

Well the dungeon just reset I think it’s better for us to go in immediately we have a lot of information about where to go now we know that there is a ravager in the long Corner uh where the hazard is like that kind of Ravine we know that

The two early ravagers were following us up through so there’s a good chance they won’t be in the middle so the only thing we really got to worry about if we’re going to level three or level two is to focus on uh getting to the keys so

Let’s put that in there no more Moment of clarity unfortunately so that’s unfortunate but it’s okay we’re still doing level three hopefully we um get a good one so here goes nothing all right this never gets less scary oh my God like for real ever never ever never ever all right

But I feel confident I know where to go I know where I hopefully know where they’re at just from our last run there okay oh level three okay well we gotta we gotta hustle then I guess so like I said I feel confident in knowing that those first two ravagers

From our last run are probably on the outside of the center room up here so I’m gonna go through here with a little bit more normal than normal than confidence and we’ll see so keep an eye open I don’t see anything okay okay we’re doing good we’re doing good

Gotta get treasure hunter though all right I almost feel like I need to camp the back room back there you know what I mean like in the Crypt I don’t know if that’s the Crypt or what I’m not really sure what to call that to be honest with you [Applause] okay nobody’s moving there could be a key downstairs so maybe we check that I don’t know if the ravagers often come down here No ravagers over here but there is a way to get keys over here I do remember that I believe I have to do this no interesting I really thought that that was a way to do it the key is to jump I guess I can’t get up there stability okay so

Still no Treasures I guess we should go to the main room then Make sure nothing is over here no Treasures okay all right I guess we gotta go upstairs now gotta be careful here and somebody explained to me what sneak is that would be very helpful because I I guess I feel like I need to sneak every time they say it

Okay that rabbits are not being there kind of terrifies me okay I don’t know if there’s any other loot spots in this area I’m gonna grab that okay that’s helpful treasure hunter is helpful okay we got this baby just keep our Focus keep our head about ourselves we’ll be all right let’s see The lack of ravagers is terrifying dude So I know any keys nope okay Ah that’s unfortunate there might be one over there Nope okay yeah we got a problem we gotta find a key so trying to think about where I could find one where I know that there’s like loot nothing back there we gotta get to level two man pretty sure I just heard movement though [Applause] okay

I I don’t know which way to go to be honest with you cause we gotta find a key board ah almost made it grab these okay that was pretty good pickup there might be a key in the Next Room let’s go check that one [Applause] Thing over there nothing over there okay up here anything up here nope just more gold okay ah man I don’t know if there’s loot back here or not no okay trying to think about with the Ember Seekers and the treasure hunters and stuff like that there’s gotta be another key somewhere

I feel like I might have to go back through the center the only other spot that I could think of that I would probably know where a key is at would be probably in the center room there hold on I don’t think that’s how you what I

Would say what I’d call I don’t think it’s a center room but we’re gonna try over here right here I think nothing okay so I oh there’s more Embers man no keys to be found though [Applause] Pretty sure there’s a ravager up here somewhere yeah he’s right there okay this could be a problem no keys I’m dropping means no jevin getting to the third level I have no cards left I don’t know if I can actually get there now we’ll see okay I gotta be careful though because we know that there’s the ravager upstairs I’m gonna go back downstairs again check out down here and see if there’s any loot down here No Loot down here there’s another uh gold coin grab that anything up here man this is unfortunate

I don’t know where else I could check anything over here maybe nope okay I guess I’m gonna go back upstairs I do want to be careful though because if I die obviously that’s that’s worst case scenario I would rather not die and at least get a crown so we gotta weigh our options

Eventually so check in here no key okay um that ravager where’s the ravager at Go this way [Applause] anything oh is there a key is there a key oh no no key man anything wow oh no no no we got one okay there we go okay on to the next level okay so hopefully the the problem that I hope that we’re not running into now is that

Because all of our cards have been played um we don’t have an issue with the cards not giving us treasure now if that makes sense I don’t know if that’s how that works or not okay so again I want to go towards that ship I don’t know if that’s where I’m

Supposed to go I think there’s a straight path too that we should probably check at least so nothing that seems eerie I don’t see anything up there is there anything over here okay maybe I go straight then oh that’s so sketchy oh it was like the sketchiest jump ever

So we see a ravager down there we’re not going that way we’re gonna go oh no no no no no don’t die like this jevin am I gonna die like this jevin probably because I’m dumb That is so unfortunate okay let’s get out of the line inside of the ravager this is why we have been collecting berries we can do this we’re gonna get our health back and we’re gonna be fine so it’s having us go that way okay we

Gotta go that way then we gotta get that ravager out of that room down there then let’s not hurt ourselves is there I guess if we bring the ravager up here we can Juke it but we would have to go this way and that’s gonna mean jumping across the lava

Which is not something that I’m particularly okay where did he go though I don’t see him he’s down below if we cross I don’t think he’ll see us okay let’s grab this Berry can he get up here oh he can he absolutely can I think we gotta go around be careful with my food I don’t want to eat too much okay

I’ve never been this way before I’ve only ever been the other way so I gotta figure out how to get through here I I can’t express to you how much I do not want to jump across that and they go this way [Applause] okay right now we’re kind to just full sending it No no that is not good oh no are we dead I think we’re dead yeah we’re dead man I gave that my best shot that was a tough run oh well I learned a lot of information about that second level I’ve uh I’ve only ever been the one way so while I

Didn’t succeed that last run I feel feel pretty good about it honestly I didn’t Panic under pressure uh until the very last second because I had no idea where I was going the drip Stone was in the way um I feel good about the first level in particular we didn’t panic when we

Didn’t have a key we eventually were able to get one I feel really good about that um yeah so a lot of positives there with two deaths and I’m happy about that because we learned a lot of information about the second level still have no idea where that key room is in the

Second level but I feel good about because let’s see if we went straight forward and we saw the doorway going up to the second level to the first level I’m assuming the key is not there we have been towards the mushroom field there and in that room down there and so

The only place that I have not been so far is probably where the ship is and so if there’s any other Pathways over by the ship then that’s probably where I’m gonna need to go but I did give it my best shot I felt like I did really good

That last run we lost a lot of loot unfortunately oh tried though I really did all right everybody I want to thank you all for watching I hope that you guys enjoyed those runs I gave it my best effort man the next time that we do level two level

Three which will be whenever I do runs again we know kind of where to go I don’t know exactly where the key room is yet so the caves of Carnage I think is what it is um but if I think about it you know we went

Straight down the second when we got to the second floor we went straight we saw the hallway back up to the first floor and I’m guessing that the key room is not going to be near that right that doesn’t make any sense in a design sort of standpoint we’ve been in that

Mushroom field we know that there’s a geode back there could be in the geode we also know that there’s like that under pathway which is where I think it leads I think that leads to the boat my best guess is with it being such a

Big POI that the key room has got to be there so that’s kind of the plan for the next few runs I Think So eventually we will need to get some tomes so we can start catching up and trying to win but I’m feeling very confident even though
