Hello everyone today I’m going to show you how to build my quad portal gold and XP farm version 2 and this version 2 has a number of improvements over the last one first of all would be that it doesn’t use any features like sound pushes that are broken and version 1.15 And it’s much much more stable because we are using an updated lighting and an updated braking portal system and we now also have improvements in rates so the new rates are a hundred thousand XP per hour 3600 gold ingots per hour which is about 32 thousand gold nuggets per hour And 23,000 rotten flesh per hour which is pretty damn good and well all of this works by using the better Edition exclusive portal ticking mechanic which basically means that if you quickly turn portals on and off it will spawn more pigment and if you just have them on and We’re also using trodden killers to kill off the Pigman and that is basically afk experience we can also use the looting enchantment from sort to get more rates out of this farm and that is what’s the rates are and it’s pretty great it’s an awesome farm for getting beacon basis And you will also get to level 30 in less than a minute starting from when the first pigment fall into the kill chamber because well now that we are using water streams and cells and pushes the transportation of the pigment is a little slower but it only means that the Pigment are going to be longer in the water streams basically just delayed it’s not slower overall it just takes longer until it starts but yeah that is pretty much it so down here in the kill chamber and as you can see all the pigment are falling down and one notable Improvement over the last design is that the trained killers are closer and that way the experience will almost always get collected and there be an issue with the experience of staying stuck in there young that is much better and how does versus we’re having for travelers basically tried instead are Being pushed and they deal damage again when they are thrown and there you get pushed and that deals damage to the pig and of course they’ve died for this and because we’re using a sword that is enchanted with looting three who are also getting the looting effect and this Means that we are getting extremely fast source of gold and experience and rotten flesh although I don’t know why you would need that and like I said we are thousand XP per hour 3600 gold ingots per hour and twenty thirty thousand rotten flesh around so like I said this Is a version two of my previous quote gold and XP form and what we have changed compared to the last one is that we are now using water streams to transport the pigment because well these water streams are very reliable so that means that no pigment will get stopped Right here which was the case but the sand pushes because they would pacify and against it and well they produces zero lag which is pretty great although the pigment being in a water stream of course means that stay exists longer which means it will take more mobcap and stuff but unlike The sand purchase water streams actually work well in the 1.15 update so that is in anticipation of that now the second change we have is an updated lighting system so this is basically just a lava trap doors and observers underneath updating the lava and that will realize The portals pretty fast as you can see if I’m trying to break it it realized almost instantly and the third change is that we have an updated braking system so this is using two dispensers and this is actually from Orpheus phloem a fellow exploit and tech Rock member so of Course all links and all credits will be in description but this basically uses two dispensers and that way the water will only be present for to gain ticks and then it will be gone which means that the portals will be able to relight faster and more reliably and yeah if They have more time then it may that they won’t skip out as often and the water being there less long also means that it’s much less likely to spill down which was an issue of my previous form especially since it had a lot of pending tics and yet what’s not Very optimized compared to this one if you would like to know more about portal ticking and all these mechanics there is an article to the tech rock wiki there is basically a wiki page that I have written about portal gold and XP forms and it goes into details what you have To make sure when you are building a golden XP form or rather designing one and well it’s a very interesting thing to read so if you’re interesting go ahead but it goes very in-depth so if you are not very familiar you might get confused but yeah definitely go read it It’s a description so that’s pretty much all I had to say about this farm this farm of course only works on better condition so it does not work on Java edition and well apart from that the materials list is in the description so we are going to build this so the very First steps to building this is identifying the four chunks that we are going to build this form in yes you do need to chunk aligned as farm because that’s the way we have to do it to make sure that it doesn’t break over time because this far will produce a lot of So-called pending tics and these can hoard up over time if we don’t properly align this farm so we definitely do need to align this form what you’re going to want to do is mark out the corners of four chunks and total that are all next To each other and if you are not aware how to find chunks I have a video linked in description with several methods on how to find chunks in Minecraft bedrock edition and yeah what you’re going to want to do is mark out these corners of all chunks and it should look like this So yeah definitely go in the description and check out my video on how to find chunk borders there are several methods that work on xbox and whatever platform you’re on and for demonstration of this video I’m just going to use a chunk visualizer pack with that in place our Next step is to find a north side so basically just going to want to grab a locator map which is basically some paper and a calm pass in the center and you’re going to want to located north side and the north side is pretty simple it’s When the arrow is pointing up so that way is north and yeah this is because the pigment in portals always bond to the south or east of the portal and that’s why we need to align the portals in a specific way so once you’ve found The north side we are just going to want to break those four blocks but keep this one in mind and replace it with um scaffolding you could use ladders but I’m just going to use scaffolding because it’s practical and we’re going to go up by a few blocks and we can also Place down some glass although you can also use all blocks but we’re just going to remember that this is your afk spot this is where you stand next up we’re going to make a ring of solid blocks around this and this is also where the race for the triangular are going to be On but for now we’re just going to place on temporary blocks like this and place hoppers not this will be your output of your form after that you can hook it up to wherever yes so of course it will need a quite large storage for the amount of drops this farm produces but What we’re going to do is just remove those temporary blocks and for the sake of this tutorial I’m just going to place two double chests on each side and that should do fine for now and of course you can add more chests or water streams of water droppers or whatever you want the Next step is getting our minecart in place for the collection now it is very important that you do it exactly as I do so this all need to look like this because we want to hopper my cart right there of course all for hoppers will still pull from the minecart but the Reason we want to spike up right there is because there will be some loss issues if we don’t because there will be of course some stairs right there to allow the XP to pass through and the items might get stuck there if we don’t have the minecart right here so what We’re just going to want to do is place a rail not just a minecart of course after you put it on there remove the rail and then push the minecart into this corner and that means that it will basically be on top of all for hoppers which means that all for hoppers we’ll Pull from it repeat the step all four sides next up you’re going to want to place observers where the minecart is next to so just like this on every side and that will be the main control and clock for trad killer and you need to observe us on this side Because this is also where the XP is going to go through and there’s going to be Pistons right here so after that we’ll play some salt blocks some rails what you can do for now to stop this clock from running all the time and bothering us is just place one block Right there one redstone dust and you can have one block right there then just take a lever and flick that and that will stop everything so the next step is just to make a little ring around all of these hoppers so just do it like this and after that we’re going To slightly repeat what we did there have one observer so block rail observer solid block don’t do that soil and yeah repeat the same thing on every side it should look like this now what you can do is just fill in these with solid blocks there you go What you’re going to do next is just cover this up you can use solid blocks of course but I’m using glass because I like to see the whole minecart when it’s in place and that is all good next up you’re going to want to go to Every side and place Pistons in an array like this and you won’t see that some will get powered but that’s not a problem at all now you will see that those Pistons don’t get thought from anywhere and you can simply fix that by having one torch on the side of the Piston which is facing outwards from the center and have an observer like this we’re doing this and not more resin observers because otherwise it would power this again and we definitely don’t want that so we are just having torches and observers which will add more delay Than it would when you have derail as the observer but that’s not really a big problem anyways just go around the backsides and fill it in like this and this of course will prevent anything from escaping and there we go and now you have to go to the center which is Right here and it just plays upside down stairs like this and this will still allow the experience to pass through but nothing else no items nothing else and as you can see the hover micro should be right there and this will prevent any items from escaping into there all right Should be our four triangular stone and they have a central toggle right there this is that lever and you can keep that there now just turn it off for a second and you’re going to want to throw two tribes and each tribe killer you can get Away with one in each shrine killer but I would still do two because two means that it can handle two mobs every time it pushes the Tritons and that will help us on reliability issues just turn it on for a second and as you can see they Will all go into this position right here which is exactly what we want perfect now take your glass and you’re going to want to go up sixteen on all of these spots so first 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 and you’re going to Want to do exactly that on all the spots where I place the glass and that is so that we can make the drop shafts so it’s fairly simple just put glass on all of these spots you see where I’m going with this alright so once we have all of Those columns elevated to 16 blocks and it should look exactly like this what you’re going to want to do is make a formation of blocks that looks like this let me finish it for a second so first it should look like this and then you finish it up by just placing more blocks In a formation like this and there we go that’s the simple shape that you’ve just sandwich on top of those glass pillars all right next up grab your locator map I hope you still have it and what you’re going to want to do is that you’re going To want to go out by 6 on a north and west side so 1 2 3 4 5 6 and on that side as well two three four five six and on a south and east side got by seven books so one two three four five six seven and one Two three four five six seven this is because like I said on the south and east side of the portals the Pegman will spawn now next up just place two blocks on every of those sides okay now grab your locator map again I know we’re Going to need us a few more times and basically if you are going towards the south or the east you’re going to want to go at eight blocks so this right here is facing east so we’re going out eight not one two three four five six seven Eight and if I’m going to the west which is this side we’re going up a seven so one two three four five six seven and repeat this for every side so for example right there itself and that means we’ve got by eight one two two three four five six seven eight Like I said repeat on every side it should look like this now you can simply connect those by placing more blocks like this and yeah it should be the same on every corner and that is of course where we’re going to put the water streams on top but that part comes later Not just play some glass and place it like this like this and then cut right through like this and like this and make that same structure to high then just expand the sides of those a little inwards and that of course is because we don’t want the water to spill out Everywhere and do that on every one of those sides and once you have that we can also do it on the other side so just have two blocks like this and cover it like this do that on every side of course and then just go all the way Around on the next layer and of course like I said before you can replace all glass blocks with solid blocks but of course glass looks more fancy and you can see through it and I like it also because it’s not spawn but anyways you’re going to want to Expand us upwards it should be too high on the very edges so that means right here should beats too high and now what you’re going to want to do is also expand it upwards on these sites so means you don’t have to do it right there but you’re definitely going to Want to put some more glass here alright now we can go to the center and we can place some buttons notice will help with two things first of all the pigment will think it’s all up looks and they will walk right in there because they’re stupid and second it will also prevent The water from flowing in and breaking some things but yeah once you have all of those buttons in place which is a four in every kill chamber you can go ahead and place one water source in every corner and that will spread the water properly unless you have forgot to Film one thing and like I did but yeah that should work fine now that we have all the water in place you can see that the water will overlap on those two sides and that quite simply is the west and the north side and that’s pretty practical because now we don’t need our Stupid locator map anymore what you’re going to want to do is go in that very corner right there and place one solid block and that is going to be to align all our portals now we’re going to make four maxsize portals that share their quarters and so we’re going to goes by Twenty one so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty twenty-one and on that side as well one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Place one block on each side and then you’re going to want to make a square with well the rest of the corners and that should be pretty straightforward so it should look just like this and if you did it properly this is the south side This is the east side this is the north side and this is the west side now go up 21 obsidian so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 place us all block and then is pretty straightforward You’re just going to want to make a cube so basically just go by 21 obsidian on a recorder and then connect those top corners all right once you have them all connected it should look like this and just to test some things we can light all of the portals and that will make Sure that they do indeed light because if you made them too big or too tall or whatever then they won’t light it because they can maximum be 21 times 21 blocks now next up you’re going to want to go to the top to the portals exactly where it lines up with these water Streets and that will be the chunk borders so that you can see with the chunk where resourcepack enables but if you don’t just line it up with the water streams down below and place two blocks like that on every side of those portals next up seen from the inside you’re Going to want to always place two dispensers like this always on the same size so I’m just going to do on the right side just place two dispensers like this on the right side of those blocks and dude right here as well now the reason you don’t want them like this Is because then those four dispensers will be in the same chunk and that makes them more prone to breaking and well we’re just going to have it like this on every side and that should be fine right side right side right side and right side perfect now we can put in the water And empty buckets on the inside you’re always going to want to put in the water buckets there we go and on the outside always put in the empty buckets and that will be our double that Spencer a portal braking system and that is more reliable than a single one because we can remove The water quicker than if we only have a single one all right now next up were just going to want to place some salt blocks in a formation like this and place to read some dust and more salt blocks on top and do that basically every side now you’re just going to want To be facing north once again so that means the two sides where it will overlap will be on the top and on the left so that’s direction is north and we’re going to want to put soda blocks like this should all look like this so one right there one right there one Right there one right there make sure that you are indeed facing this way that the water streams overlap like this all right we’re going to do the same thing on every side and also just watch it once and repeat it for every side put some repeaters like this look up dust Repeaters and you’re going to want to set this repeater right there on three ticks and that one as well on three ticks and that will make sure that the timings are correct all these other repeaters leave them on one tick and then repeat a process on All other sides of course do not of course that no matter which side this extra block is on you need to have the repeater facing into it all right that should be all of the sides now we’re just going to place one redstone dust right there and now we’re just going to Put down some solid blocks connecting all four of these sides now always places all blocks on the outward facing repeaters just like this and like this and what you can do then is break three blocks off of every side starting from these also facing repeaters there we go You should see that there should be a center block and to go out by five blocks on every side don’t just have two sticky pistons one observe facing up look and repeat that on every side now locate a north side again so once again when the overlapping water streams are On the top and left and on the south and east side you’re going to want to place repeaters on four ticks and it should look all like this and once you have that we can link everything up by just putting redstone dust like this and we will have a redstone torch tower and Later going up from Doug there to toggle everything now we’re going to add the lighting systems on every corner and you’re just going to repeat a step for every corner so just simply placed on two blocks like this so that you can place uppers facing slabs they should all go like this You should see five protruding slabs aside from the center one and then just have something like this and what you can do then is place down an observer facing like this and then some more observers which are looking at this observer right there then play some solid blocks just like this trap doors You can leave them closed or open I’m just going to leave them open because seeing the full side towards the outside is always good and just cover all of that with slabs it was very important that you cover two slabs because these trapdoors need all other directions except for regeneration which they’re Trying to light blocks because otherwise they will be directional then just go to the other side I know this might be a little hard in survival and place one piston sticky piston facing any direction you want redstone block and then two blocks like this and redstone Dust and that will create a clock now once you have that done you can remove those two blocks and the last step is just placing into lava on all of those spots and that will light a first importance however you do it needs to repeat the step on every corner like I Said all right when all the four lighting systems in place we are almost done now of course keep in mind that you need air above these lava sources or else they will not light these portals that is very important so don’t cover it up now the last step is to add our Toggling system for the portal braking system the lighting system will always be active and that’s normal so if you place the scaffolding properly or the ladders or whatever then it’s going to be right under the cross section of the lines to the portal braking system and Yeah that is pretty good that is how we want it so just go by four blocks so one two three four place a fifth block remove all those blocks place a lever on the other side and what you’re going to want to do is just build up a torch tower and if You’re in survival you can just place torches every now and then and well that is how you do it in survival but I of course am in creative so I’m just going to do it like this we’re just going to tower up with the redstone torches and if you left the Lever down there off then this torch will be turned off and everything will be good it will click at once but that’s not really an issue and believe it or not that is your entire gold and XP farm completed congratulations however before you start using this I would suggest That you do a few finishing touches which would be just putting torches on all of those corners and torches on top of those portal braking systems and that will make sure that no other hostile mobs spawn on there which shouldn’t spawn there because well that would be Some problems but apart from that that is pretty much the thing done oh and you can of course remove those extra blocks on the outside now you’re just going to want to go up in the middle and hold a looting three and chanted sword now if you don’t have any looting three then You can use it without because experience does not get affected by looting but of course you will get less actual item drops so let’s just turn this on and it should start flicking all the portals and as you can see pigment are spawning of course you’re going to Want to turn on your trap killer because if you don’t well you’ll have a lot of pigment and it will be some big trouble but as you can see they will start dropping in and well you will start getting experience very very fast and from an outside perspective we can Already see that there are a ton of pigment going into the trident killers which is awesome that is exactly what we want well this is pretty much the entire thing complete so this farm takes tons of time to design from start to finish and there’s also a lot of people Involved so definitely make sure to check the description because they are credits to many many people this form is ready for 1.15 so if you are concerned about deaths don’t be it works on a lot by 15 and it will probably also work and updates Above that but I will of course keep
