The End as it currently is now is a boring wasteland that people only visit to farm Elytras, Shulkers and Diamond Armour. I’ve been pretty vocal about how I feel about the End and how necessary it is that it gets the same treatment as the Nether when it was updated. In this video, I’ll be showing mods that enhance the End’s generation, exploration and more. If you enjoy the video, consider subscribing. First off, we’ll be enhancing the generation as we usually do. Enlightened End adds a few new biomes that come with new building blocks and more plants that Give more life to the Barrens biomes. One biome doesn’t generate on the top of the islands, but underneath, making for a riskier to navigate biome. This mod also adds a lot of different variations of Endstone, making the texture of the End Islands less bland. End’s Phantasm gives the End a different feel, With luminescent crystals growing out of the ground, looking similar to Dripstone in a way. Even Quark adds a few plantations that give a little bit more life to the End, like Chorus Weeds that teleport to other Endstone blocks. Geode Plus adds easier ways to automate farming For different resources, as well as generating a new block type within the End; Wrappist blocks and shards can be found alongside Smooth Endstone, apart from looking nice, the shards can also be used to create a unique item pedestal. Better End is, like its Nether counterpart, Strangely beautiful with its generation, large trees that almost look like mushrooms from another world, giant stars of ice that litter the empty spaces between the islands and mobs that fit perfectly into these biomes. and Nullscape which is probably one of the best out there, completely changing the way the End generates, with islands Sitting on different levels. Some islands sit down below, closer to the endless void, whilst others float high above the others, almost at build height. Just like the Amplified Nether, this mod is a must if you haven’t tried it yet. Unusual End mostly adds new structures that fit in well with the Vanilla game’s End cities, like Ancient End Cities. Ancient End Cities are full of traps, like the Shulk shooter blocks, which propels a Shulker Bullet every few seconds, giving some unique Ways the player can take on this structure. Some trapped chests which are connected to TNT are also present, meaning unobservant players will lose out on loot if they’re not careful enough. A few Overworld and Nether blocks can also be seen stashed here as well, which Adds a bit of world-building to the Enderman. Wanderer’s Houses sit on the small End islands, giving loot and access to an ender chest, always being occupied by a Wandering Trader and their lamas. Awesome Dungeons has a separate extension mod which is reserved for the End, adding interesting structures which can include Evoker spawners, Allowing for players to easier create Totem Farms, Wither Skeleton spawners and even Illusioners! With some of the loot being multiple Diamond blocks or four beacons! As always, Alex’s Mobs is a go-to when improving the game, adding ambient mobs like the Endergrade And the Spectre, the Cosmic Cod as food and more. The Mimicube is found alongside the Shulkers in the End Cities, upon being hit, it mimics your weapon, armour and offhanded item, meaning you really have to change up your style of fighting when going against them. When defeated, they drop Mimicream, which when 8 are surrounded around a weapon or item, duplicates it, without any enchantments and at the least durability. The Enderiophage is neutral, hunting and attacking mobs like Endergrade to feed itself. When slain, it drops its outer casing, the Capsid, which can be used to corrupt items with Ender magic, like the Crimson Larvae which can be turned into the Mysterious Worm, which is used to summon the Void Worm. Vainall Plus adds a few more Endermen, Some Neutral and some outright Hostile right from the get-go, most just charging you but some like this Enderling that was clearly inspired by the Snareling, shoots a projectile at the player. Better End also adds a few unique mobs to its biomes, not really adding that much extra but Adding more life to these included biomes. End Goblin Traders adds on to the already existing Trader Goblin mod, with this added End variant having some of the best stuff in the game, things that players can’t get anywhere else within the game. Some of these items include Potions of Blindness, Diamond Tool with both Efficiency and Unbreaking 7, a Totem of Undying that uses durability instead of breaking on use, or a Netherite Sword that can do 28 attack damage. Other items could even be given whilst Stuck or living in the End to help players who might need it. Alex’s Mobs adds one boss, which needs to be thrown into the endless void to be summoned, the Void Worm. The Void Worm fires a ton of Crystal bullets at the player whilst it dives, flies and portals around the End. When defeated, it drops its eye and both mandibles, which can be used to make a trophy or a Dimensional Carver, which when shattered using a Capsid lets the player create a portal To warp millions of blocks in one direction. L Ender’s Cataclysm adds a new structure that holds a lot of good loot and Ender Golems as mini-bosses, which drop a core that lets the player cast an attack that makes void crystals spike out of the ground. At the bottom of this dungeon is the Ender Guardian, which seems like any normal golem, but when it reaches its second phase, reveals that the head is a Shulker. When defeated it drops its arm which can be worn as a gauntlet, Which does significant damage, and when right click is held, pulls nearby entities towards you. Progressive Bosses make each time you defeat the Ender Dragon more difficult but rewarding, with the second time fighting the dragon drastically changing, the Dragon flies faster, summons minions like Shulkers to attack, replenishes End crystals and more. It makes the Dragon fight actually intimidating which is suitable for the supposed final boss. Bosses of Mass Destruction adds the Obsidilith, which is a strange sentient stone that casts spells to protect itself, attacking and debuffing the player. Even the obsidian sigils that are placed around during the battle make for a good inclusion, making the player have to balance and strategize on taking the time to destroy these protective sigils without taking too much unnecessary damage. Its unique drop, the Obsidian Heart is used to create some of the most powerful items this mod has to offer, so apart from the fight, the loot is also really worth it. Stalwart Dungeons adds a new structure that spawns in the outer End islands, With a new boss, the Shelterer. The Shelterer can be spawned when using a Nether Star on the altar that’s embedded in the base of the structure, with the boss only being able to take damage from explosions. It has Shulker drones which are named Propulk, Which constantly inflict levitation on intruders, meaning also having ranged weapons is vital. Quark adds a drop from the Dragon boss-fight, a dragon scale that you can use as a mould with another Elytra to duplicate it, giving a reason to defeat the dragon multiple times. Dragon Mounts adds an End-Game way of travelling around the End and other dimensions, with the dragon egg being able to have a different variant depending on the environment that it’s hatched in. End Remastered makes it so that players need to do a bit of exploring before going to the End, Requiring 12 of any eye from either Nether Fortresses, buried chests, Pillager Outposts and more, making the progression a lot longer and more fun. Yurina’s Enderite adds onto Netherite, the Ancient Fossils that are needed to do so can be found on the underside of End Islands, even the main island. A few mods have compatibility with this like one that lets you gild Enderite, making Piglins neutral without having to sacrifice an entire armour slot. Origins can help players who want to live only in the End adapt perfectly, either having the teleportation abilities of an Enderman or the carry space of a Shulker, Being either of these helps you feel just that bit more at home in the End. Another set of items that Better End adds is things like the Respawn Obelisk, acting as a respawn point for the End, coloured lighting within lanterns and even Multiple variants of item pedestals. Yellowish is a texture-pack intended for the End’s Phantasm mod, which simply makes the change of changing textures to be more akin to the strange forests from the Echoing Void DLC from Minecraft Dungeons, which some people may Like more than the original look of the mod. And finally, I can’t end this video without mentioning Immersive portals which once again stands as one of my absolute favourite mods of all time, with the only issue being that it can sometimes be hard to run especially on a server Where not everyone’s PC is gonna be equal. Thank you for watching! If you’re enjoying these modding videos, I’ve had a few ideas on how we can expand on them in the future, so stay tuned for them. If you haven’t already, consider Liking and subscribing, cause it helps grow the channel a ton. So once again, thank you for watching and have a good day or night. Video Information
