Welcome to xlife a modded SMP where each player starts off with 10 Hearts but each time you die you lose a heart and once all your hearts are gone you’re banned from the server being on a modded server means there’s so many cool things to explore but there’s also going to be

So many more threats I’m not exactly known for my survival skills in Minecraft but let’s see how far we can get all right so here we are newly spawned in on exlife oh my gosh it spawn is so pretty I love it and here’s statues of all of the creators on this s

SMP there’s so many incredible people here it’s going to be such a fun time except for this guy he looks like he might be trouble we’re going to steer clear of him here’s my statue looking fresh looking fresh look at that I look swag so on this SMP we get to start off

With a shulker box full of some items already ready to go and I’m going to grab all of this and of course take the shulker box that’s going to come in handy and hopefully this gives us a good head start for survival which we have to remember to be very careful about on

This Server which is why I’m going to sleep now but being careful isn’t going to stop me from pressing this gold button that’s for sure what does this button do it’s looking a little bit ominous but at the same time I’m like how could a button at spawn be anything

Bad come on would they really do us dirty I don’t think so I’m pressing it wa welcome to xif nextg that’s awesome I love that well now that we’ve got our stuff in we’ pressed that really cool button I say the next thing for us

To do is go find a good spot to base up and I have a feeling that we’re going to have to make some tough decisions here because these biomes yeah these look incredible H I love modded so much now I think the best thing for me to do is

Pick a direction to go in and this area is looking kind of steep and a little bit dangerous but I see modded Biomes so I’m going to go towards it you know to be honest I don’t really have any specifics on where I want my base to be

The whole premise of losing Hearts whenever you die is a little bit of a scary thought so my general idea right now is to build a safe Sanctuary that will have the least amount of threats my safety listen I don’t really have the best track record with survival in this

Game so I think the best thing I can do is play it safe until I get myself some good gear and what better way to be extra careful than to just avoid danger at all cost I think that’s a good way to approach it right now all of these steep

Drop offs and stuff are looking a little bit risky so I don’t think this fits the bill there is a lot of rooted dirt around here though which I would like to come back for at some point okay we’re heading into a regular Forest now cute

Cozy classic I can’t forget that I’m in though which means there’s tons of biomes to explore so I think I got to mix it up and I shouldn’t go with the standard classic I also can’t forget that with all of these beautiful modded Biomes comes well a lot more dangers

Usually with these mod packs there’s a lot more bosses and mobs that we have to worry about we got a panda absolutely living right now listen okay can’t can’t not feed you some bamboo there you go buddy enjoy all right moving forward we need to find a base I can’t get

There’s tons of copper here second of all I’m I’m finally going to be able to have the copper tools and armor that I’ve been wanting for so long back when I did my very first let’s play for some reason I was convinced that the next update was going to contain copper tools

I don’t know where I got that info from but it has been like a running joke ever since so if I can get copper tools and armor I’m going to take it also look how much copper there is right now this is just so easy I’m in like copper City

Right now they call me the Copper Queen okay I’m at stacking a bit maybe I should stop I think I’m going a little bit overboard I think it’s safe to say that I have enough for tools and armor so I’m I’m good to go let’s let’s get

Out of here all right we’re back up to our base area and we have tons of goodies from the caves now we can finally make ourselves a couple furnaces forget the iron we don’t need it because I’m going to smelt some copper I’m just kidding I’m going to need the iron too I

Feel like so I’m going to start smelting m in that as well and while we wait for that I am going to torch up this area very quickly because that is also the key to a safe and happy life in Minecraft and while I was torching up my

Base some new friends decide to drop by and visit hello r hi hi knives oh my gosh he you have a little base set up yeah I’ve got my little starter base set up I’m going to do like a cozy little Sanctuary my whole idea is to just like

You know just just avoid the fact that there’s danger out there you know what I mean it’s a lot of it too yeah exactly I’m just going to pretend that like it just doesn’t exist I’m going to die I’m going to die a lot yeah we do that a lot

Life to a chest we went for a quick tour of novas and knives bases okay so this is the communal house you can use the bed in there there’s a kitchen with stuff in the fridge and then this is the automatic farm so if you ever need food

There’s a whole bunch to be collected in here there’s carrots potato and Wheats um because um I am vegan I love that that’s fantastic oh my gosh this is incredible wow not very vegan of you wait what’s not vegan of you I don’t know what knives is talking about but

Anyway is that steak your hand follow wait a second wait a second buddy wait a second what was that are you are you just trying to give us all carrots and you’re eating like steak what is that premium steak so how works is you would press this button

Then you wait a couple seconds and then you press it again and then all of it gets pushed down into a chest down there this is incredible and Innovative but I’m also wondering do you have meat options as well um well me myself I’m

Vegan so no I do just eat the the you know the the vegetables from here yeah you’re totally vegan eh what was that was that like beyond meat in your hand that you had there no uh what I missed meat so much that I I colored a potato

To look like a steak you know this yeah that’s believable Buddy Story yeah likely story good one so after I learned about Nova’s communal farm and questionable vegan diet they took me for a tour of the communal house which ended up having some uh questionable features

As well and by features I mean yeah it doesn’t really have any basically just a stuffy attic with a couple torches and a bed and as for the second room at this base um this one was just a random doorless room at the back of the build I think I

Might stick to sleeping at my base for now so after the tour of Nova’s communal base we popped over to knives for a tour of her home W oh you’re in one of the Orchards oh yes I’m like obsessed with this biome oh I love this we have a little pathway

Going up to here this is my baby uh ignore the name they came with that name I’m going to change it got it got it not sure what that is here’s our farm we’re up and running I’m going to be using these crops for a grocery store on the

Server soon so be on the lookout for that oh so cute this is like stardy Valley Vibes to the map yes that’s the goal and this is my house that Nova helped me decorate cuz I was lost and completely doing stuff over and over but

We don’t really have any resources to build anything with so ideally I would obviously love some Spruce that’s at the top of my list and let’s see what else we’ve got around here there’s got to be some other types of woods that we can use oh my gosh look

Template to work with I mean look at this view behind me that is perfect my idea for this starter house is pretty much just a cozy quaint Cabin in the Woods meaning it’ll just have all of the basic amenities we need for survival while still being a cozy little spot

However the primary thing that I want to focus on is incorporating some modded wood blocks into this build I found some really cool ones while searching for resources that I I think will really fit the vibe of this cabin there’s also a ton of modded decorational blocks that

I’ve never tried before on this SMP so I’m really excited to give those a shot as Well all right we’ve got ourselves a cozy new starter home um hello what the there is a giant orc on my property what is this why is this here what do I do with you well I’m all out of arrows so I guess I’m just going to have to hit him with

An iron sword this is not good he does a lot of damage oh he’s almost gone he’s almost gone oh okay okay I did that I actually did it okay what what is orc skin though what can we use this for can make a saddle a handbook potion of the

Turtle master and some leather so that’s not really of any use to me right now so I think I’m just going to put that away in our trusty messy chest and just forget that ever happened all right now that we no longer have a random orc walking around our base here is our

Starter home complete and I think it turned out really cute it is definitely very very starter homey it’s it’s a small little guy but that doesn’t mean it’s not Mighty so let’s do a little tour of this place we’ve got ourselves a really nice lovely dirt path that I made

With the botnus workbench all of this is pretty much just dirt converted into different styles I love these blocks so much they add a ton of texture to pathen and down here we’ve got ourselves a little workstation with some chests a furnace our stone cutter we’ve got ourselves a couple of chipped benches

That allow us to modify some of the blocks this is the one that I got all of the dirt pathing from as you can see you pop it in here and you’re given tons of different variants so we’ve got ourselves a cute little Cozy Pond at the

Front of the build and it has like a little river that leads down into a pond right here I love making really small thin Rivers out of stair blocks I think they look so cute and after IID finished the pond I just brought back some of the

Foliage some of the moded flowers and all of that stuff just to make it look really Lush around here so our main entrance is off to the side here and look at this Lantern it’s so cute I absolutely love all the mods on This Server some storage out front and I

Found these Picket Fences which look really cool I ended up using them around the front as well and this type of fencing really helps make this place look rustic so if we go on in here we’ve got just a cute cozy little cabin I made a simple little modded bed we’ve got a

Little bench at the end of the bed so we can put our little shoes on in the morning and we got ourselves a little woodworking table which allowed me to make this table and this chair so we’ve got a little kitchen dining area so I can have some breakfast in the morning I

Also have these little shelves here I don’t know exactly what they do they’re called item shelves so I wonder if I could just put random stuff on it oh I love that maybe we’ll put like a little bundle up here oh that is so cute I really wanted to get some paintings

And stuff but honestly I didn’t really come across any sheep so I never really had a chance to make any so if we go on through this door right here we’ve got ourselves a nice little balcony Little Flower Pots and finally we have our little steps to our dock where we can

Fish or just you know hang out watch the uh watch the pond that doesn’t have any fish in it maybe maybe I need to fix that but that’s kind of sounding like a problem for future me but yeah that’s pretty much it for our cozy quaint little starter cabin it’s super cute

It’s cozy but um it’s actually not too safe as you can tell by the giant orc that walked onto my property but hey at least I got two of those boxes ticked all right everyone I think that’s going to be it for today’s episode I may have
