Insane Solo Vault Hunter Run #37 – Daddy Bones Power Up!

Good evening happy hump day it is Wednesday we made it to the middle of the week so that means some more Vault Hunters that’s right Vault Hunter night I mean every time that I go live it’s a vault Hunter live stream how is everybody’s week going so

Far it’s been kind of quiet where I’ve where I work at so Daddy bones has been cheating a little bit just a little cheating not a lot just a little and uh been doing some things doing some things I hope that you guys all get to

See soon I think it’ll be great and wonderful there we go let’s see need a there we go there’s that making sure I see everything hope you guys uh are having a good week yourselves uh we had some rain today today washed away a lot of the snow that we had earlier

On around here what I want to do with it and uh I have some ideas but I always have ideas I just need to start executing them such as finishing off this wheat storage facility Silo of such start a home got to decorate this

Inside um we un we we took the tree down took undecorated undecorated the tree uh we did finish up our potato farm got carrot Farm wheat farm and of course our small teeny t uh beetroot Farm I like it it’s cute and quaint feels good it feels real good

Look at all this space we have to work with can do a ton of things um but yeah I I need to do some grinding and not Vault grinding but like vanilla decorative build a village grind I we still have a a lighthouse I want to do a

Fresh new Lighthouse I was thinking about like you know a a b like you know a pier a pier would be nice right if we had a little pier that came out here all these things and more got it we just got to we got to start doing it got to start doing

It I’ve been thinking about all these things all of them and yeah we’re going to get to them um starting kind of like with this well not starting with this this is it’s on the burner but uh since we brought it out here to make uh

Windows for our thing I think maybe we should make like a a special little shop for our glass blowing station again we’re not doing that now right now we are going to run a vault daddy bone still has a a soul he needs to buy back a

Spirit what are we like 21 away is it what number is that is that 23 or 28 well it’s 21 or it’s 25 that’s how much we got that we need um how we doing with our mine laramar and finish scavenger hunt let’s um let’s go get

Actually to do some good oldfashioned mining crafting but uh yeah so we got this we need block and we need food you know how many you had last time sus uh I’m wondering though if if OBS because we’re on OBS and not streamlabs if it’s tracking it since we switched over to

Subscribed I am a a member to at least two um YouTubers and uh I don’t I don’t have uh I’m well just got home from the gym and about to get some Vault stuff going how are you my friend um well gearless Drew I did not go to the

Gym um sad to say uh I should probably hit the gym one day but um I’m too busy vaulting and hunting um but I am doing well uh hump day is one of my favorite days it’s one of the few days I get to stream and uh

I’ll be up really late really late so by the end of the stream I’m going be pretty exhausted um but I am doing I’m doing really well I’m doing really good o so I don’t have I didn’t put the Vault shield in here that’s why the Vault Shield went there

And we got a a oh man got some good thing goodies out of here got some goodies but uh I am I’m actually doing incredibly well incredibly well Wednesday favorite day one of the favorite days of the week next to Saturday and Sunday um and Saturday morning

Streams I am I’m also a long road Vault Hunters player you’ll find that I’m not as optimized as a lot of other a lot of other players um I die a lot I will I will forewarn you I do die a decent amount we got a little void upgrade a lot of

Those level four wouldn’t mind a level five and we picked up oh some more external storages nice um but yeah I am not as uh nope I I hate opening those things o a blue one did we get enough do we no we got we already got that

One I’m finding that playing this solo um as opposed to being on a server collecting these is it’s a hefty grind like I know people who have like built like three or four relics by the time they’re level 50 I haven’t built one have not built one yet by level 50

Here it hurts it hurts my it hurts my soul it doesn’t hurt that bad but it’s a bit of a bummer let’s see what do we get Thorns damage 26 and a half I’ve been thinking about switching over to Shields um and getting rid of the wand empty prefix

I I feel 26 and a half is kind of a mediocre middle of the road do I have any other Shields to compare it to I don’t think I do oh we got this one 28 and A2 oh where to go all right 26 and a half rare

Yeah it’s almost like potato potato between those two here I’ll stick it back on this one that wait what I’m so confused what just happened oh I put it in my hot I came to my hot bar I’m so weird an Omega wand versus another Omega wand let’s find out let’s find

Out I mean is that 0 five really worth it to start spinning this thing like crazy to try to get something to get another increased eight ability power I don’t think so I like my lucky hit chance I like my cool down reduction I’d actually would rather have um Mana regen

But taking what I can get um this is a very nice wand though there’s no way we’re um giving this wand up it’s definitely taking the place of this guy cuz that will be a very good backup wand of when we will spin it then if

Necessary if if the time comes we big if big if uh leggings is not as awesome boom all right what else we got all right so that’s the blocks uh back pack oh this comes out and these come Out all right let’s put you here and then let’s get a rock and find out what our next job is this place looks a hell of a lot better than mine my base is very compact will say um yeah so I can’t say mine start off compact I like spreading my

Legs uh but uh yeah it’s you know it’s got hidden I say hidden secret compartments you come down we have our drawer system set up here um I had this system that connects to here actually what I want to do is get this to connect that way it it

Connects to the computer as well actually I think I could probably connect it this way is that possible maybe H we don’t have this one hooked up yet but this way I could always come down here but we got lucky with the mod boxes because two of these

Puppies two of these 64k discs came out of mod boxes so we got super lucky with a mod box toss and got two of those I’ve craft I crafted the third one um but yeah this is this is the workshop this is the workshop it feels a little like like

Kind of flowing over and um but I guess it’s pretty well put together this is where we had started out I I went vanilla and just like put a hopper right into it so I can drop stuff I know every body does the um the modular routers but uh yeah I’m

Just not there yet to understand how modular rouers work but I’m getting there I’m getting there without a doubt uh and then we have the downstairs portion of this we have another little second little farm that’s uh I can probably Harvest these yep there we go and then we have one

Last Farm down down here if necessary I still grab them when I when I’m able to able to yeah uh so that’s that small in a sense this is where all of our uh dead beat gear gets uh diffused too got to come down and clean out every now

And again um do need to work that system in that it it it’ll flow where it needs to flow stun attack chance resistance that’s a good one attack damage eler damage I don’t think I’m going to use eler damage don’t know what half the stuff is honestly still a vault hunting newbie

Hey uh you know I am a vault hunting newbie as of uh December of last year the the 22 so everybody who played like Vault Hunters 1 and Vault Hunters 2 I had no idea so this is my first experience with Vault Hunters 3 and just mod packs in general

So when it came to like messing around with all these mods I was like I didn’t understand it um I did play around with furnaces and which is a combination of this one and there’s there’s an actual iron furnace somewhere there it is um they broke it in half Because the actual iron

Furnace mod does generator and there’s like going a know it’s kind of like uh some like the a template that you stick into the the furnace and becomes a generator well they broke it in half and you have iron generators and you have iron furnaces uh one cooks faster and

One uh creates the power uh so I messed around with that and figured out how that worked um and everybody went refined storages until they added applied energistics now everybody seems to go to applied energistics but I learned how to do refined storages so I stuck with that

One and drawers and of course uh colossal chests and simple storage networks like I know how they work um they say simple storage Network is buggy and they got rid of the grid um I never had a problem with it but then I learned how I learned about the problems and then I

Understood uh but a lot of the stuff like the botania mechanism thermal expansion create I’ve heard about um and I’ve watched a couple plays plays on Create and that’s insane uh hear create is buggy on here but I haven’t unlocked it cuz I just don’t I

Just uh what is this six yeah I guess I could unlock it if I wanted to um I learned about kerium botney pots those are two really good ones uh easy villagers and easy piglins uh I’ve seen them I haven’t I’ve never played with them yet uh then there’s the modular routers

Which which is pretty pretty big it’s a pretty big deal very big deal dark utilities is fun that’s good for making Farms um again I’ve watched people play with it haven’t played with it yet like there’s in all the big toys I haven’t touched haven’t touched anything in here and

Alchemy I think Alchemy is something that iscal wants everybody to pick which is why they he you know he made it so cheap I mean it’s research a to and plus how it works with everything else uh like the table the alchemy table so it’s it almost feels like it’s

A it’s a it’s a forced uh mod I even curious about why that’s in the mod category since it’s uh not really a mod I guess I don’t know let’s try it out let’s try it out let’s unlock it let’s this take a bold step boom all right so let’s

So this is the generator here by the way and I feed it with all the wooden chunks I could put a hopper on here I put a hopper right on top and it would just continue to feed it um and you can turn it on off with

Redstones that’s why I’ve got the lever turn it on turn it off I play a Duo world with a friend but I travel a ton with work so I think grinding my solo world trying to learn the tech and mods yeah I mean that’s that’s just it it’s

Yeah that’s I know the feeling I know the feeling uh I stream I mostly play Wednesdays and Saturday mornings and the other times I’m with my kids or I’m at work so I understand all the work stuff for sure talking to the right work guy let’s put these in

Here that takes care of that hey we need a rock we need to find out um what our next uh vault’s going to be charcoal raw rabbit and sight and sight turn off my m magnet brick brick is an annoying one 12 uh charcoal coal uh raw rabbit well we’ve been feeding

Them so 15 all right let’s sleep uh so I played we started a we started a uh a vault Hunter World a vault Hunter’s world let’s get some carrots before we head over and I played with a bunch of friends and then they did a major update and we decided to start

Over and the start over at that point kind of fizzled out some of the interest from the other players I was with um and uh so at one point I just decided to just do it solo so here we are starting the solo world that seems

Good do you know about these pens these pens are awesome I actually I need to set up a place for those this is my this was my little starting area I started right here I had a row of chests right here my chest monster while I constructed the starter home

Which uh which surprisingly took forever because I was more interested in doing the Vault walting and hunting and then we created the uh the workshop oh the pens animal pens let’s go to the Ji animal type in animal you don’t see how it says oh so in this when you hover over and and it comes out to this old box here in the lower left where it says the Vault that tells you the mod uh the Vault means you can pretty much do exactly whatever

Wherever this is so the animal jar so you craft the animal jar um and with the animal jar you find a any animal it could be I don’t know can it be fish I actually don’t know the answer to that but you usually want something you can

Breed such as a chicken by the way this is a very special chicken which is why there’s only one uh I can explain that one here in a second but you take the jar and you shift and you right click the animal and uh it’ll pick them up in the

Jar you then you then craft the pen which is just a polished Vault Stone and this is just the stopper on this is a Polish vault Stone so then you craft the pen you place the pen and then you take the jar and you put the jar inside the

Pen so now you have an now you have your animals and you can breed them let’s get some let’s get some breeding materials uh seed do the chickens so you get any you know for chickens it’s seeds and you just right click it and you can see there’s a count of 427 you

Can bre it again in 30 minutes 3 minutes I mean uh and then you can get eggs from them by uh taking a bucket and right clicking them with the bucket and he gives you all eggs you can Shear the Sheep uh do it and you get all this

Uh you can bucket the cow and get milk and then you can shear and get honey this this is actually it’s really convenient for this but at the same time but basically like the whole like mob farm entity cramming is kind of gone with this and then when

You need stuff like the the meat you just kind of come you just take your sword and you you I can feel the lack of lag um yeah when you’re on a solo world that’s the lag does uh oh Oh you mean the pens and having a ton of yeah not yeah absolutely

Absolutely um these are the most important ones the I wish you could get scoot from these from the turtles but you can’t get scoot from them but everything else like the that altar will ask for all of this stuff that in here it’s crazy and like I said when you need it

Like raw pig meat you just kind of come over here and you just kind of slaughter a pig and count 71 count 70 so as long as you have two in there and you can breed them um you’re good to go and the yeah and the lag’s not there there’s no more no

Lag uh so yeah it’s a it’s a the P the animal pens are it’s almost like I wish that could be vanilla but at the same time it kind of defeats the purpose like yeah it’s it’s modded oh I forgot there we go all right I think we’re ready yeah we are

And I put the pressure plate on top so I walk right on top of it to activate it I feel like I really do feel like the sound on this is low all right there’s that all right so we need this go there and this a little jump

Pouch ah potions potions potions before I before I do too much potions uh how about a vile is this right no that’s all batania oh there we go okay I think what I have is the pacifist right yeah the pacifist have you ever seen like Enchanted animals have it oh

Yes so that was the um the chicken that’s this chicken the chicken is the shiny chicken and the pig yes I’ve seen I’ve seen the pig I haven’t um captured one but yeah this is what the chicken looks like uh when you put them in a bottle uh that’s kind

Of they don’t they kind of lose their Sheen but you know instead of having them walk away from me or I guess they don’t despawn it look as beaks Hollow so weird but yes that is the shiny chicken um the pink sheep is the is still the

Pink sheep they didn’t do anything with the Sheep what was the cow there’s a they did a shiny cow I don’t remember what color it was though but I remember the pig being green but they have so many cow variants in this it’s incredible I love the cow variants thank

You and what’s it going to take to make this oh my goodness restores a lot of Mana speed regen absorption Hearts I need to find something some of this stuff like I don’t know what any of this stuff well I know I know what cleanse does but I’ve never discovered any of the

Archives because I’m such a I’m so slow at this game um I would still take Mana i’ I’d still take that um I’m going to leave that there because I’m going to keep the one I got uh maybe we’ll get a we at we need laramar

Right still need a lot of laramar and scavenger hunt maybe we’ll get a scavenger hunt maybe not let’s see what I love it I love it find the monolith oh my word that’s a lot of monoliths three six n is that nine well we could do a dash and just

It oh we got a or POI there on the hillside a house on the hillside a house on skeleton archers I was hoping this I guess not all right I was hoping to see an hoping to see a monolith down there but I didn’t so we’re moving uh South is this

Way I would spend the time on that ores but I’m really interested in monoliths 8 minutes there’s one right in the middle of the room we got this two more the excitement and we still got to get out of the Vault too so we still got to make our way
