YouTube works is you get paid per thousand views a Certain uh dollar amount right and uh that goes up and down throughout the year depending on how much uh advertisers want to pay it’s like a market rate think of it like a stock almost and so um the value of your uh views on YouTube goes up and down throughout the Year it varies creeper salvagio thank you so much for the prime really appreciate 75 twitch Subs holy moly dude I can’t believe it we could even hit a 100 soon that would be insane um stinking minky stinky minky oh um what was I saying uh so yeah Basically on what happens is in Q4 which is uh you know like the Thanksgiving Christmas season advertisers tend to do their biggest ad spend of the year and then um it really falls off a cliff in January so in other words like if I got 10,000 views on a video and in December I might make like um like let’s just say I make like 50 bucks on that that I just pulled that out of my hat cuz I I don’t I I can’t do the math on stream but um let’s say I make 50 bucks from those 10K views in December in January I might Make like 30 bucks instead uh on the same amount of views right so basically what I do is every January I uh basically take a break from making long form videos and instead focus on doing some sort of experiment uh with my channel so last year in January the Experiment was actually uh Shorts YouTube shorts I had never really done YouTube shorts before um and uh last January I started doing them for the first time and it ended up being really successful and became like a huge part of my channel uh so that experiment went really well this January uh the Experiment that I’m doing is all about streaming so all last year I was streaming only on YouTube only once a week on Wednesdays this January I’m trying a whole bunch of stuff so here’s some of the stuff we’ve done so far we have done uh multi streaming we have Just streamed more in general and we’ve tried doing a VIP stream those are the experiments I’ve run so far um and so I have a bunch more experiments and ideas and stuff like that but I kind of wanted to check in with you guys um on like how you think It’s going and uh what my strategy is going to be because probably what I’ll do is run a bunch more streaming experiments uh throughout January and then when February comes I’ll like make an actual official stream schedule where like you guys will know what days I’m streaming and where and what to expect From the channel um is rebella with is rebella with nightbot are they both bought thank you for the Super Chat friend rebella is a real person H rebella is my manager um she does uh she and nightbot are two birds of a feather though maybe you should get another Camera to have both you and mo I really do want to do that Crimson Raider and thank you for the $5 uh uh Super Chat I really appreciate it um so anyways yeah uh which out of the three out of these three things multi streaming um streaming more often and the VIP streams Which has been your favorite so right either multistream um more streams or VIP streams in the chat let me know what what has been your favorite experiment so far in January I’m really curious which one you’ve you guys have liked the best obviously the twitch chat loves the Multi streaming that makes sense that makes a lot of sense Hoff thank you for the $2 Super Chat have you remembered yet so I should run so like one thing I want to definitely try out and YouTube people don’t get triggered but I want to try out doing a solo twitch stream like just twitch and not YouTube at the same time to just see like how it’s how it’s different and Maybe focus a little bit more on the different features of twitch cuz I feel like when I’m multi streaming to YouTube and twitch it’s a little hard for me to focus on like the point redemptions on Twitch and the and the subs and like the all that stuff So one of these nights I definitely want to try only doing a twitch stream just to just to familiarize myself with the twitch features a little better cuz I’m still very new to it and I just want to like learn all these terms like you guys Were saying oh do sound alerts and I was like what what what is that so that’s one thing I want to try and then um I definitely want to figure out if if we should do multi streaming or if we should do like certain days of the week For different platforms like should we do like mon Mond Wednesday Friday on YouTube Tuesday Thursday on Twitch or something um that is a big question in my head so we might try that for a week probably not next week but maybe like the week after to see how that goes but I’m I’m leaning towards just keeping multi streaming because it’s really fun doing both uh both at once uh you need to sit down and do a posture check all right all right people are making me sit down and we’re going to fix my posture dude so let’s do It uh porno says you like the different days idea yeah I don’t know I just want to experiment figure out if multi streaming is better or if switching off days is better um so yeah that that is uh here we’ll add that to the list of experiments um that’s another one to Try uh solo streaming on similar Vibe like sort of fall colors or if you’ve played um Elden ring like the the area with all the yellow trees and like the giant ruins sort of that sort of uh up here at the Autumn Citadel then There’s going to be like a great waterfall area with like tons of like giant giant waterfalls um and then that’ll lead into what I’m calling the Mystic Basin where I’m going to break a bunch of bedrock and do like a big sunken area where the terraforming Goes super low uh then over here I want to do like a bunch of foresty Miyazaki type of stuff um over here I want to have like a snowy area so I I said like frostbite Forest froz Frozen Peaks um over here I really want to do like more Of an Asian architecture influence uh and and like you know you guys know those Chinese mountains that are like super Steep and Rocky like that sort of vibe then I’m going to transition into like deserty jungly tropically for this side of the Mega heex um so yeah those Are all the plans it’s going to be insane we’re going to have to do a lot of terraforming but that’s the idea and uh it’ll probably the the whole you guys saying it’s going to take forever the whole point of this project was I’m trying to make it to 20 years in my World we’re at 12 years right now or 11 and a half it’ll be 12 in May um and so I I need a project that’s going to take me like another eight years I need something to do for the rest of this 20 Years um so that I can make it to my 20- year goal and then once I make it to 20 years we’ll see do we want to keep going for another 10 try and make it 30 years in this Unless I stretch literally every single day it’s like a rubber band and it like pulls like if you picture like a rubber band on my legs that’s too short it’s constantly pulling my lower back like this way pulling it down towards my legs you know what I mean cuz my hammies are Just not stretchy enough and so it causes me like a lot of lower back pain and contributes to my scoliosis so even if I stretch like every day and by the end of the day I can touch my toes by the next morning after I’ve slept overnight the rubber band shrinks again And then I’m back to being like really back pain and I can’t touch my toes so like I literally have to stretch like every single day or else I just like can’t I yeah but I’m very flexible in my hips I can put my foot behind my head I’m just not flexible in my hamstrings if that makes sense this is probably TMI no one cares about my hamstrings why am I talking about this your world looks so bald without water dude Tara I know you know what it reminds being able to get every um Book trade like you would have to bring villagers to certain biomes to get certain trades and because super flat is only planes biomes it would mean I basically wouldn’t be able to get like half of the enchantments in The game at least not like directly from villagers I’d have to random roll for them in an enchantment table which would suck uh so yeah it it’s it’s a your world maybe like under the Bedrock guys like the thing about my world is like I care about it so deeply and I care about the World building and The lore that like I never want to build something Entertain it but the only way I might do like a silly build is if I like build it out of sight somewhere like under Bedrock where you can’t like inaccessible you know what I mean like that I would be little room in the trial chamber it’s not very common um but I think after doing a bunch of testing with uh L Enderman MC he discovered that um like there’s an average of like one trial chamber or uh one deep slate room in Like every two or three trial Chambers or something I forget what the exact uh stat he came up with was but um each deep slate room only has like 12 or so blocks of deep slate so it’s still going to be really rare and you’re still going To have to like grind really hard to get deep slate in super flat but just having a way to get it at all makes me so freaking happy dude I I could cry cuz like like if you look at my roofs notice how like there’s just not that much you Can do like black roof black roof black roof like I I have like a nether brick one I have like a a mangrove one a spruce one but like most of the time you want like a gray shingled roof if you’re building in this style that I build in And only having access to Blackstone is so limiting getting tough blocks and and deep slate blocks for the first time means I can have all different Shades of Gray for my rofes it’s going to add so much variant and also now we can do like really smooth gradients from like dark To White um uh it’ll be so awesome dude I’m just so freaking pumped I’m so pumped uh do you know I actually heard that there is an enchantment seed your world is supposed to have maybe you can try to figure it out precisely to get the specific enchantments wait what I’ve never heard Of an enchantment seed that is some that is some Minecraft black magic stuff Crimson there’s another structure too I think I think the trial Chambers actually are currently in their current form in the snapshot um once in a while they break bedrock on super flat which is kind of Fun build your logo into a monument so it looks normal from the map oh that’s a cool idea like you you can only tell what it is like on a map but like in in game you wouldn’t really be able to tell that’s that’s a fun idea the Villager well yeah that’s right The Villager Wells can sometimes break bedrock as well finish off this uh Monster real Quick water oh drink water thank you water check ah right now to grief prevention the one we used to use Uh we’re trying to downgrade which is really difficult upgrading is easy downgrading is difficult so I reached out to a guy who was uh supposedly going to be able to create some sort of tool to help us downgrade but communicating with this uh with this person has just Been a little slower than I expected I thought maybe we could work things out in a couple days but he we we’ve just been slow on the back and forth um and so yeah basically uh I think I’m going to give up on trying to go back to grief Prevention and we’re just going to have to deal with the shortcomings of grief Defender um for now so I think that’s the plan um so yeah basically uh rebella is going to finish doing some server maintenance uh and try and get the the new server the new flat net servers up ASAP but hopefully within the next like week uh that I think hopefully within the next like week we’ll have flatten net up but anyways how how are you today glad to decrease my render distance because I am at 32 that’s a little excessive go Down to like 20 that’s probably more than enough that would probably really help all right almost done with this one and then yeah I think after this one we’ll switch over to the VIP stream so why don’t I set up the VIP stream real quick we’re going to do that at 6:30 so Let me just uh do that really quick VIP party um ads balanced redirect members only January 8th at 6:30 p.m. done that should be all set up and then I just got to set the redirect uh give that a minute to think okay that’s all set up close low Latency okay and then I’ve got to edit this stream customization redirect ad Afterparty save okay in theory all of the people with YouTube members should now be automatically redirected into the Afterparty when that happens and I really do apologize to um wait these are not in the place what am I Doing none of these are in the right place uh I really have to apologize to my twitch Subs I wanted to get the multi streaming working for the member stream so that it would be uh members and then twitch Subs all in one stream unfortunately I just simply do not have The capability to do that until we get further in the twitch uh in the twitch unlock system like I I think you have to stream like 90 unique days to unlock uh to unlock the twitch the sub only streams but luckily I’m pretty sure I could be wrong about this but I’m pretty Sure if you become a twitch partner like all that stuff just Auto unlocks and you don’t have to like grind it as hard um and so hopefully we’ll reach twitch partner like within this month cuz I think we have all the requirements except for you have to stream 12 unique days in one Month so we’ve already done two so hopefully within 10 streams we will have reached um the number we need I can apply for twitch partner and then hopefully it unlocks so that the the uh sub the the After parties can be for twitch people too I that’s the plan That’s the master plan anyways I’m kind of rambling kind of repeating myself here oh I have so many Discord DMS hobby saying something doing more planning for my vid oh cool probably shouldn’t read people’s been really bothering me about my world lately is that I’ve got this beautiful ocean floor over here complete with kelp and coral and seaweed and beautiful Sandy Beach and everything and then the rest of my world just looks like this one layer of water on top of dirt and it looks really lame and it’s just not up to the standards that I’ve set for myself for this world and so I am trying To get rid of all the water so that I can eventually dig out all the dirt create a better ocean floor and then fill the water back in I know it’s crazy I’m a Madman but also I’m killing two birds with one stone because I really Need to dig all the dirt anyhow um because I made a short last year um basically uh asking for subscribers more or less and um yeah uh now I have to dig like 50 million dirt because of it uh because I’m a fool and I challenge the internet You should never challenge the internet the internet will always win uh so yeah MO is so cute you’re telling me dude you’re telling me dude
