Hello Internet minecraft dungeons is a game that can be played at the single-player or for the team of up to four people through local co-op or online games in order to play online you must first add friends to your friends list and on PC it may not be immediately Obvious how this is done so to clarify I’m going to quickly walk through the process there are two ways of adding friends either three xbox website or through the game itself firstly let’s look at the Xbox website the first thing you’ll need to do is head over to Xbox Comm and log in with the Microsoft account that you play minecraft dungeons with since microphone joins is purchased for the Microsoft account you don’t need Xbox or Xbox Live for this to work after looking on head over to my xbox and click the friends tab your current Friends list will show up on this page these will be the people you can see in Minecraft dungeons and invite or join games for however if you want to add a new friend you’ll need to start by searching their username by the way the search doesn’t seem to be case sensitive After clicking their username in the search results you should be taken to their profile from here you can click Add friend note this isn’t a request system so they don’t need to accept you but you won’t be added to their friends list either if you’re playing with this Friend often or I recommend getting them to add you back as it makes it a lot easier for you to join each other’s lobbies method number 2 covers how to add friends in game the first thing you want to do is launch minecraft dungeons from here ensure the online game is Selected from this menu counter-intuitively has actually no add friends button so what you want to do is you want to start online game once in a game you will see your gamertag in the top along with the friends option on this menu there is an add friends button Click this and enter somebody else’s gamertag that you want to add here we go I just added my alter counts and while they’re offline they do now show up in my offline friends list when my friend is online they’ll show up in an online tab and I’ll also be able to Join their games if they’re in an online session I can also invite them to game if I’m in an online session what the value of this video isn’t quite as important now that there’s a simple in-game way to do it I still hope this video clarified how to add friends Through Minecraft dungeons when on the PC platform or your console players who feel left out a built-in friend system for whichever console you use will still apply from minecraft dungeons and all of your friends should show up with that I hope this helped consider subscribing if It did and until then I hope to see you in the future Video Information

Minecraft Dungeons is a game that can be played Solo or with up to 4 players Co-op or online
To play Online, you need to add friends to your friends list as there is no matchmaking, so here is how to do it on PC
There are two methods for PC players.
_________________ Method 1 : www.xbox.com The first is through the Xbox website and is a method that has been around since beta. At first I though it was still the only method and began the video with only that approach in mind. This is why it comes first, despite being the less useful approach.
Simply put, log in with the Microsoft account you play Minecraft Dungeons with and go to the friends page. Then search for your friend and add them.
_________________ Method 2 : In-game In-game, players can add friends through the friends menu. Counter-intuitively this option isn’t available from the menu, only from in-game on an online session.
Simply put, launch the game and create a new online game. Then open the friends menu, click ‘Add friend’ and enter their name.
This is actually the better way of doing it. The only reason this method came second is because I found out about it while collecting footage for the first method, which I though was the only way! I had almost completed the video so I didn’t want to waste it, hence this method was added to the end.
