Minecraft All The Mods 9 – #7 Getting Started With CREATE MOD – Workshop!

All my patreon members and YouTube members but let’s jump in game and take a look at this very short list okay yeah so it’s a very very very short list today it is literally just create Workshop so basically you remember I use a template to build my farmhouse and

Then give it to my builder for him to build in-game well I’ve done the same thing again with a brand new build and it’s the create Workshop basically I’ve designed a small little kind of create workshop and loaded it as a schematic in the game but I’m going to show you guys

What it looks like first before we position it now as you can see this is not a small build by any means in fact when I looked at how many uh blocks were used over 3 000 blocks of cobblestone were used in this build so it’s going to be tricky

For us to get all the materials but let me lower it down to the ground and take a look inside so yeah what’s very cool about adding a building like this to mine colonies is you can also have modded blocks in here as well now it hasn’t got the create

Machines because they did bug out but it’s got the basics like shafts and Cog Wheels and basically this is a ready-made workshop I’ll have to come in and add the other bits afterwards but with this down it’s going to give me a really good Head Start what’s amazing

About doing it this way is you can basically plan out your Workshop work out how to put all the complex shafts and gearboxes into position with all the cogwheels without having to worry about wasting materials or all the time it takes to kind of pickaxe them up

It’s a real time-saving way of doing it now this Workshop is designed to go underground that’s why it’s kind of like an ugly Cube on the outside and I’m gonna try and oh oh my God what okay so benzo florentiev has just joined the colony I guess we

Got space for another one now that a guy’s got in the guard Tower and we’ve got our first new dude well welcome to the Colony benzer Is that him over there yeah or is that a horse no that’s a horse’s ass oh no wait it’s benza uh yeah sorry anyway We’re gonna need to find a place to put this that’s within the colony bands as well because I don’t think you can put custom buildings outside your Colony I can try I can check no you can’t you get an error tone because it’s not inside the colony so we

Aren’t gonna have to move this inside now it’s quite big but I was kind of hoping we could kind of embed it in the mountain over here somewhere yeah you know what it looks like this might actually work being over here we can do some terraforming to improve the

Outside visuals of this build after the fact but yeah this actually looks like it might be quite a good space for it because it’s just right on the back end of the farm that could be pretty cool so there we go this is exactly where it’s gonna be let’s press tick and pull

The trigger so you can see here these are all of the things we’re gonna need to make None of it is super tricky the gearboxes might come in a bit tricky the supported iron bars we need to Chisel with chipped and we are going to have to make all these shafts and Cog Wheels whatever what’s weird is so basically I think like a traveling Trader died inside my

Building as I was copying it and so there’s things like a lead and an iron plate and things that were on the floor were kept so I think it does keep um entities that are on the ground in the schematic that’s a bit weird but what we can do is

We can press build on this and there we go now we’re gonna pause it because basically what we want to do is we want to Time Lapse this build so as soon as skull degree Fester starts the build we’re gonna pause him so we have the materials loaded into our clipboard our

Resource scroll and if we go to the Builder’s Hut I think under manage workers we can pause him Yeah there we go so he’s not going to get building until we’re ready but this does mean the resource scroll is now loaded with absolutely everything that we’re gonna need for the build so like I said the things are going to be tricky are going to be the create

Specific things like shafts and whatnot and that’s going to mean I’m going to need a lot of andesite alloy which means I’m gonna need a lot of andesite we’ve got loads of iron so the Nuggets aren’t going to be a problem from that craft but Ander site itself is quite a tricky

Thing to find so it looks like the first thing we need to do is go on a mining trip to see if we can find some either and a site if we’re lucky or diorite which we can use as well let’s go and clear our pack and get ready

So where is the best place to find andesite I honestly don’t know I mean I think in all the mods six it was most commonly found along the sides of rivers so we can start by checking Rivers but the Minecraft Wiki says it can be anywhere where there’s Stone as long as

It’s below y level 80. so what I think we’re going to have to do is just look far and wide chance it and just see if we find any andesite oh hey it’s buried and MooMoo now finding andesite is a great idea for us because as you can see diorite and

Andesite are both used in a lot of these buildings for mine colonies anyway oh look at this it’s been even looks like a little Russian boy see if you’re confined a boat okay well we found a boat so what we’re gonna do is we’re just gonna sail our way to

Riches and Fortune now we’re looking for either diorites or andesite and yeah we’ve got to find it below level y80 we’re at y 62 so it could spawn anywhere where there’s Stone so one thing you can do is go spelunking for andesite or diorite all you have with that is uh it’s dark

Underground so it can be quite hard to see but there’s usually lots of stone Exposed on these really tall river banks that we’re sailing through right now so if we keep our eyes peeled we could get lucky what do we see no but like I said we’re looking for the

Motherload a large um whoa what’s that web do I want to check it out yeah why not I’m curious so this stuff down here which does look a bit like diorite is actually salt it’s salt these are hanging cobweb strands does that mean this is like a weird spider

Cave oh my God yeah look at that there’s like spider cocoons over there this is oh my God I I should really be not in here but I am in here so there you go well okay should we check inside one of these uh spider eggs that could be quite cool

Oh no why did I do that that was of course a mistake okay we’re getting out of this spidery hell hole because oh my God I hate spiders IRL I don’t mind them in game but even those right there were pretty freaky also something that looks like andesite

Is gravel that can bamboozle you quite a lot from a distance as well inside this cave still the spider cave no it’s not and there’s quite a generous amount of space in here oh yeah it leads on to the spider cave over there let’s see what I could really do with is

Some kind of night vision yeah this is a very juicy cave not really low enough for any valuable ores but I do feel like we might get lucky and find some andesite inside here that’s gravel more oars dudes falling from the ceiling get out of here nice Thanksgiving

Here’s your reward off you go oh what’s that oh wait there it is we’ve done it we fat oh it’s right here as well ah this is it this is oh hang on do you mind him having a moment a moment of Jubilation and joy oh these zombies no respect

But yeah check it it’s deadly because there’s monsters everywhere but this is a perfect andesite cave and this took a lot less time than I was expecting we’re basically just right right off the colony where where is the colony down there yeah so we’re not too far

Away just up the river and through the cave okay pickaxes are ready let’s fill our bags all right let’s book it boys back home we go I’ve got my boats the river is right here actually no let’s go back through the cave to the original River otherwise we might get lost

Ah yeah daylight out of this ugly fugly spider cave oh yeah oh man no I’m a big I am a big fan of this biome of this generated Terrain very good looking Wait where’s the boat there it is ah nothing better than a relaxing boat ride in Minecraft just put on some very soothing songs oh yeah let’s just Coast our way home and have a bit of a wind down this whole series has been pretty Breakneck and in fact while I’ve been

Editing it back I’ve realized sometimes we just go so quick we’re storming through things it’s cut to cut to cut the editing’s pretty crazy why not just kick it back with some easy listening tunes and enjoy a nice relaxing boat ride ah through some lovely terrain oh what a lovely day In fact let me know in the comment section if you’ve watched it this far what you like to do on your most relaxing day I’m talking about the ultimate relaxation something like meditation whatever puts you in your pure Zen space Foreign And luckily enough this Castle on the horizon spells we’re on our way home in fact I’m pretty tooled up now I’ve got iron gear and a good sword maybe it’s time we investigated this Castle once and for all yeah you know what we’re going in boys we’re gonna find out what’s there oh

What’s that ah probably nothing okay quick and quiet a grindstone don’t need to bother looting that oh loot hello oh wow really good loot emeralds enchanting ink which will take a goat horn a gust scroll or sounds like a Rude Dude in here oh what’s this an inscription table

Don’t Mind If I Do there we go okay so we’re gonna go up there see what’s up top yeah why not so is this supposed to be like a kind of parkour challenge I think it is and my parkour skills uh you know what pretty on form today

Or not oh no wait I see what we do here yeah oh that’s pretty good now there might be a Rude Dude up here so I’ve got to prepare to defend myself fingers there is there he is let’s kill him where’s he gone oh my God we got him oh amazing I got

Some pretty good loot from that I think an evocation rune anything else on the floor there’s something there ink toss away this word why not yeah you know what pretty good loot I think I think it’s mostly from Iron spells and spell books and of course as you’d imagine

This chest has more of the same a rare scroll though I mean like I said I don’t know what any of this stuff is so I’m gonna be grabbing it because it could be actually really valuable there we go ah yeah because there is a loot Barrel hidden under here as well

With more enchanted books yeah XP boost sounds amazing well okay we’ve conquered the castle absolutely no sweat let’s get home and start building this create Workshop so basically the main resource from create is something called andesite alloy you make that with andesite and iron nuggets so we’re gonna make a whole

Bunch of nuggets and a whole bunch of andesite alloy now I cannot understate how much of this stuff we’re actually going to need in the end we’re gonna need so much and that’s why it was so important that we got as much andesite as we did

So there we go we’re going to start with two stacks and we’re gonna crack on down this list of things to make but yeah this doesn’t actually look too intrusive as it says here 56 shafts a few Cog Wheels nothing too crazy the gearboxes

Might be a bit of a pain as well but yeah foreign but again this is where ultimind really does shine making something like this putting down the casing and then just ultimining it all up is very quick indeed so that is basically it for the weird

Crafts the only other things I can think of is the supported iron bars oh wow so we have to use something called a tinkering table to make these oh you’re kidding me TNT well that’s actually not too bad well let’s make one of these because actually this looks

Visually very cool in fact there’s a whole bunch of stuff from the chipped mod that I actually think is going to make great Furniture inside my house take a look at all of these they look freaking amazing okay that should be everything no wait we need the actual Oak slabs there we go

Okay that’s everything the Tinkers table let’s put this down and see what it looks like now this is going to be our first bit of upstairs Furniture let’s put it on at the back here next to the window oh okay yeah that looks pretty cool so right click and this is where we’re

Going to make the iron bars amazing So we’ll need regular iron bars to start with I don’t think we need that many of these 64 should be plenty and we’ve got infinite iron as you can see so no need to worry about that Yeah here we go iron bars here now we’re looking for supported now I picked these because they looked very cool there we go supported iron bars 64 of them yeah all right well let’s load the Builder up so there’s one other tricky thing that I think could give me some grief and that

Is the iron plate from all the oars so how do we make an iron plate I don’t know I’m worried we’re gonna need a machine no we’re not we can use an ore Hammer that’s really good news let’s crack that bad boy out and there we go the iron

Plate the only other taxing thing for us to make is the Cobblestone but that’s really just going to require like a lot of mining like about five minutes worth of mining with my pickaxe so that should be absolutely fine yeah here we go the iron plate supported

Iron well okey dokey I’m gonna go and grab the rest of these things mine the Cobblestone and I’ll join you for the time lapse build in about half an hour or so So work has commenced on our create Workshop so the potential application for this in modded Minecraft is really really really cool you can design really elaborate factories buildings Technical Systems and have your Builder do all the legwork without you having to go through the laborious process of trial and error

Now I’ve created the create Workshop without the core Machinery required for it to be functional and that’s because I want to jump in game build those things myself put them down so you guys at home can see how they go together and how it all works foreign

Itself is gonna look a little bit ugly it was designed to be an underground compartment not really what we’re using it for at the moment because we don’t really have the space in the colony yet for a big underground space so we can terraform the mountain afterwards with just some dirt blocks

And some Stone oh foreign is a very cool mod and I want to explore it in its entirety and having a workshop as a space where we can do that is going to be essential I’m really Keen to check out things like the schematic Canon and the bigger crafts like the mechanical

Arm all of these things look really cool really amazing and ultimately the end goal is to check out one of the create locomotive trains they also look really amazing now also there’s some pretty cool alternative styles for mine colonies I downloaded something called style colonies which adds a whole bunch

Of extra cool building themes to mine colonies and I really want to check those out I took a look at something called Byzantine so stay tuned for another short video later on maybe next week where I show you some of those really cool Styles but there’s some

Really cool options one of them is a completely underwater style Colony that sounds pretty tough but pretty rewarding Thank you oh man what a build that was absolutely insane it took him two and a half hours to build this thing and now I kind of realize I used to kind of complain that buildings and mine colonies were a bit flat and they didn’t have like you know

The thickness of the walls that I kind of look for in buildings but now I realize every extra block you put into a building is just going to increase the time it takes to get built and this wasn’t like colossal but oh my God it took him forever anyway let me walk you

Through what we have inside so basically at the back what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna have like a big water wheel to power the whole facility there are newer bigger ones that look really really really cool but there’s also a shaft that climbs up above the building so I

Can add a windmill on top later to supplement the power anyway the shafts come along to the left and to the right so that rotational Force the power of create goes around the edge of the room so over on this side we’re gonna have a mechanical press from create and that’s

Pretty cool we’re going to have some funnels that pull it out of this chest put it into this one and a belt that carries it across and over on this side we’re gonna have a mixer a basin a mechanical arm and a whole bunch of conveyor belts

Right okay so if I can I can Loosely remember how it’s all set up but we’re gonna need a bit of a shopping list number one we’re gonna need belts lots of conveyor belts and they’re not too hard to make dried kelp yeah we can get

That we’re also gonna need this bad boy the mechanical mixer and again not too hard to make a whisk a cog and a casing we’re also gonna need the mechanical press we’ll plonk that on the left as well we’re gonna use some funnels as well this is basically creates a way of

Getting items into and out of chest they’re pretty cool pretty handy and we’re gonna need a basin as well because that is where you do the mixing but for now we have a nice little array of things to go for so let’s do this step by step first I’m going to find all

Of my create stuff man I’ve just got so many chests around here it’s crazy and to say blah blah blah blah okey dokey so step by step a basin boom in the bag the mechanical press oh yeah these are all so easy to make the mixer might be a

Bit harder though I don’t know how you make a whisk oh iron plates yeah we can do that boom a mixer okay now we’re getting there so we’re very close all we need now is I think one two three four funnels should do us for the time being

And these can’t be too hard to make ah no really dried kelp though so let’s go and grab that from the sea and it’s so easy to gather as well look at this whoosh just bash and kelp and wait for it to float up oh hey a dolphin friend how’s it going

Wait did he just steal my kill you you son of a gun oh my God they are stealing my kelp oh yeah loads and loads of kelp now I’m Gonna Keep a snack spare just in case but let’s just pull out this kelp and uh yeah make the funnels

Oh my god wow yeah that’s such a cheap recipe well we’re gonna need a few of these so I’m gonna make ten I think they’ll come in handy later of course probably the most important part of the build is mechanical belts okay right so first we’re gonna put down

The belts here we go there to there you right click in one place right click on another and it creates a belt between two shafts and the shafts turning here’s what’s gonna make this conveyor belt move and we’re also going to put down the funnels here we go

Both into and out of these chests on the side and that looks pretty cool actually it kind of melds quite well with the surroundings likewise over here we’re gonna do the same thing eventually we’re going to have a mechanical arm here that picks up items from this belt and then

Puts them onto this belt to go into the mixer and speaking of mixers there we go in position now the mixer needs somewhere to mix that’s going to be the Basin and we have a space underneath the Basin where we can put like a heat Source that’s needed for

Some recipes so yeah this is all looking pretty good so far now we just need the mechanical press over here All right or right and the fiesta resistance the water wheel let’s just nerd pull our way up here And this goes on the gearbox at the back but before we put this into position we’re going to put down some water yeah look at this now the conveyor belts are going the right way so it looks like yeah there were some iron nuggets left

In this Basin that’s why I wanted me to make them but to christen this create Workshop what we’re going to do is put an iron ingot into here and this is gonna work oh yeah now it’s very very very slow we need to find out

A way to speed up how quickly our wheel spins but even though it’s very slow this is still automated Bonk amazing And over it goes another iron plate now unfortunately it’s so slow that the mixer doesn’t go quick enough to actually mix so that’s something we’re going to have to fix in the future okay guys we’re going to call it there because I am actually losing my voice I
