Um so we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna get started tonight uh I don’t really have much of a plan um I’ll give you guys a little tour of the base because you’ll be able to see it better than what I gave you in the video here

But other than that we’re kind of just gonna wing it we’re probably gonna do some mining collect some dies maybe we might actually go work on the spawn cave um the Pirate Cove for our mob spawner because that’s still not done uh so we’ll figure it out as we go along

So cool I mean uh craisin and Lance did a very good job of picking out all the mods for the server it’s just they’re so good they were trying to Target like um their goal was to create a mod pack that is like better Minecraft but not as like

Uh moddy if you know what I mean not as like weird and out there and they just uh I mean they just nailed it on the head they did a really really good job you know very happy with it it’s just it’s so cool

Episode in scale it’s what we’re doing for episode three so this is live exclusive one of the benefits of coming to my live streams um we’re gonna be finishing the custom biome uh there’s still a lot I have to do but it’s relatively easy and repetitive at this point

So I think we’ll be okay uh to up I think I’m safe to say that I’ll be able to get it out uh before the end of the month so I’m very excited about that no face cam I’d say people connect to your voice to your Minecraft character I

Do kind of agree with that as well see that’s what I’m saying it’s so hard to uh find that balance between connecting with you know your face getting very personal because obviously it’s your face that you know people could recognize you in public not that that’s happening to me I’m nowhere near big

Why you were trying to deal with lore using the blocks from the nether can you explain without spoiling so um the lore of my hardcore series is extensive um I’m not going to make any promises because I don’t know what my budget is going to be yet

But I am looking into possibly doing hardcore episodes like half episodes so a hardcore episode of like you know it would be titled hard Minecraft Hardcore episode 2.5 and I’m thinking about hiring animators uh animators to give me animations for just short animations that are just like one minute long for like half

Episodes to explain lore better or to give you um you know it just it’s just so you guys can visualize the stories better I guess is what I’m trying to say um but as far as like the lore actually goes you’re definitely the nether blocks are directly related to the nether

Um they’re not just like I didn’t just choose them randomly I did that intentionally because with the lore in my hardcore series as much as I want it to be you know my own lore my own story I also kind of want it to follow

The regular you know uh I guess lore the regular lore of Minecraft itself as well um so there is a lot of history with the Nether and problems with the Nether and um you know there’s there’s a reason why I don’t know if you guys saw me

Uh I don’t know if you saw that I updated my channel banner and stuff but you know I’m hooked my character’s holding another right sword and that’s um so also be on the look for that as for stuff like that as well because I am going to be including lore in

My profile pictures my banners uh you know my thumbnails there’s going to be lore hidden not just in my videos but there’s details going to be found throughout my channel um so keep your eye on that as well but yeah that’s pretty much all I’m willing

Personality was completely different but to be fair 75 hard was a series I literally live streamed for oh God we almost made it to 75 days um I live streamed for like what was it 56 some days in a row but you know there’s only so much you can do

Before you start to just get exhausted and I was definitely feeling it towards the end of that series I really wish it could have continued but uh oh problemo where how big which way do we need to turn here there we go strip mine look like a brick wall yeah yeah kinda does

New people and stuff and so you can get to know me and I can get to know you one of the hardest things uh well first of all let me go back to what I originally started to say um and this does apply to your comment

I’m not about to go in on tangent I swear I’ve been getting a lot of DMS from you guys saying that you want to start YouTube and I have to say like one piece of advice that I would have is get yourself warmed up to hearing your own voice as soon as possible

I can’t tell you how painfully annoying it is to have to listen to your own voice uh after you’ve done a live com or after you’ve done a voiceover there are so many times because you don’t there’s so many things that happen that you don’t think about

Like they’re I it I annoy myself because there will be times I’ll be listening to my voiceover and trying to edit it and I’ll hear myself like breathing I’ll hear like or I’ll hear myself like Gulp or just you know swallow saliva because my mouth is getting dry because I’ve been talking

So much my God it so there is nothing more maddening for some reason so when it comes to commentating and stuff just get used to it as soon as possible and I think one of the biggest mistakes that a lot of YouTubers make um is that they don’t just talk in their

Live comps you know what I mean they’re not they don’t just do their Genuine Voice and it’s not that that’s a bad thing you know you a certain YouTuber may need very high energy in their commentary in order to get the type of views um that they want

But I if you’ve noticed like you know in my videos sometimes I’ll play my commentary up here and start talking like do you know what I’m saying just a couple of tones higher um but it’s so much your live comms and everything will come so much easier to

You if you just talk if you just talk like the way I’m talking right now is the way I talk in my videos or it’s at least the way I try to I’m trying to switch over more towards a mellow less over-the-top type of you know commentary it’s a very commentating is

A rather complex thing and a lot of people don’t realize it’s so complex until you try to do it and you try to find out what is working for you thank you so much for the sub I really appreciate that dude I’ve been doing YouTube for so long I’ve

So dumb but just do the best you can um and really take it slow the majority of people who I see die and hardcore is within the first hundred days that the world is alive um so I would really look up don’t try to speedrun it don’t

Rush yourself but the second you spawn in find go find a village immediately like punch water whatever get yourself a um you know your regular wooden pickaxe or whatever and get your basic stone tools but as soon as you have stone tools and some food immediately either try to track down a

Bed or try to track down a village because you want to be able to sleep through as many nights as possible and then after that I would say don’t go caving oh diamonds nice first ones of the nights um I would say skip caving and go straight to strip mining you’re gonna be

A lot safer if you strip mine caving more interesting more fun better content but you know do you want the content for that one day or do you want to have a survivable world that’s going to last a couple of months you know what I’m saying other than that it’s just I mean

Surviving in hardcore is just pretty basic regular Minecraft stuff it’s just you have to play it very very carefully I think I’m on day 45 Something in the hardcore World maybe no that doesn’t sound right I mean Spirit okay me and Sarah Spence I think a hundred days alone just placing concrete so

I I know what you guys don’t realize about that cinematic uh was that first of all it was sped up times eight in replay mod and then I sped it up two thousand percent again so I want to say almost maybe day 700 so a decent amount of time for sure

Um you know I want to make sure that that hardcore series doesn’t turn into another SMP type of series I need it to stay very single player-esque as well so I do have to be careful with that I don’t want to be having people on you know every day kind of in

Every episode taking away from that single player experience there’s a lot of people I’d love to have on though I think having guest stars is a great way to network to build a lot of people from um MCR I’d love to have on as well we’re just gonna risk it

Doesn’t take which is a seat on YouTube like you have what advice would you give to upcoming hardcore creators um so um excuse me it’s been four months no not four months it’s been like two months and I still have a cough so I talked about this in one of my videos

And Flow State actually I don’t know if you guys know who flow state is but he responded to my video um and I think you should go watch that video because he in his video he actually disagrees with me but he offers a very unique perspective on the YouTube space and stuff

When it comes to hardcore content it is Hardcore content is oversaturated and not only is it just oversaturated but hardcore content specifically is the most oversaturated genre of Minecraft which is the most oversaturated game in the gaming space on YouTube and the gaming space on YouTube is already over saturated

So when you go to make a hardcore video if it is not like you have to have a really good outstanding crazy unique personality if you want to make like a regular live com hardcore series work on YouTube if you don’t have that you need to make

A video like I made it needs to be over top you need it needs to be in your face kind of edits everywhere just it needs to be high octane Because unless you’re able to keep people’s attention they’re just gonna go watch the next hardcore video because whether we like it or not

There’s 15 more hardcore videos out there you know for them to watch immediately and chances are they’re going to be better than yours and they’re going to be better than mine you know what I’m saying so as far as becoming a Hardcore Minecraft Youtuber is concerned you

There’s a part of me that genuinely believes you have to sell out a little bit to that algorithm to that high octane style of content otherwise you’re not going to be able to develop that base audience but if you do the video well and then you’re active on your channel

And you do other stuff like what I’m doing right now then your audience will transfer over and you’ll have a much easier time growing uh through series that aren’t even hardcore you know what I’m saying so my best advice and why I’m saying all of this is when it comes to hardcore in

Particular you need to treat your YouTube channel like a YouTube channel but more so like a business as well you need to Target the numbers you need to Target the proper demographics you need to make sure you’re uploading at uh at the proper time of day when you the majority

Of your audience is on things like that and I I think I have enough to speak on this now but even though I haven’t had many successful videos um but I have my first one that has passed over 600 000 views I expected to hit seven eight hundred thousand and I have

The episode two uh video where I also I expect that to hit maybe 80k so I have I have some experience now and I think I can speak on it smart GIF what’s going on it’s happening we’re just diamond mining and chatting it up as we go getting to
