Hey hey guys how’s it going i hope all of you are doing great today check it out guys today we’re building this cozy little starter house surrounded by a small forest the house is equipped with a place to live a cow pen and a sweet little curved roof Which i have to say i’m really happy with how this thing turned out anyways guys grab your popcorn and grab your favorite designated beverage and i guess let’s get this time lap started All right guys back at it again with another time lapse i’ll be honest guys i really have been enjoying these little builds it feels like nowadays everything in minecraft has to be huge over the top and i don’t know has to require you to grant countless hours for you just to complete Your goal but what’s so wrong with a cute little house in the woods i don’t know i think the majority of you guys watching the videos don’t play minecraft 8 hours every day so i think this is a great little burst of inspiration that you can use to Perhaps build something in your own world just for some inspiration guys i also spent quite a bit of time trying to find the perfect location for this house i think that the location of a build is something that gets overlooked so often when working on something What i see so often is people building these really cool and also very well-built structures but before they start building they first of all just flatten the whole area and i guess there are no rules when it comes to building in minecraft but i think that trying to make your Build fit into the terrain makes the end result feel like it belongs there rather than stick out when you you know for example flatten the whole area another thing which i also pay attention to when building something like this is lighting i’m not talking about lighting the place up with Lanterns or torches of course you should do that as well you don’t want a creeper blowing this thing up but what i try to do in all of my videos is use sunlight and shadows to add accents to the build for example when i record i try to have the sun shine Onto the front of the house which makes it stand out more and lets you guys see a bit more what is going on in the time lapse this of course really only applies if you play with shaders and if you turn off the date night cycle like i do when i record But in general i think sunlight and shadows are something which you can use to your advantage when you’re trying to light up your build you can also for example take this a step further and experiment with how light falls through the windows and i don’t know illuminates the insides of Builds something like that there are so many fun little things that you can try out i can only encourage you to try to do the same so i guess let’s talk about the design of this house a little bit well how did i come up with this design Well what i’ve noticed is that there are two ways on how i approach a build the first one would be to plan the layout and the floor plan first and then add all of the details you saw this in my previous video where you know you just start placing down Some blocks on the floor and then you build up from there and i guess the other one would be to work on a small section of the build and then add lots of details there and then finally expand this into the general build and finally i guess the layout the Latter you can see me use in this video i found this interesting because both techniques achieve very different results working from the details out towards the general creates a much more asymmetrical and perhaps a more diverse build at least that’s how i see it this is also a little harder i found Because you have to try to make everything fit together in the end but i found this technique works much better when i have a very specific idea on something should look like in this case i really wanted these slanted roofs which met in the middle i really had this In my head and i wanted to build something like that so i guess that is something that i first wanted to get down uh before i moved on to the rest of the build overall i’m really pleased with how this turned out i’ve had it in the past where I’ve scrapped a bunch of ideas simply because what i’ve envisioned in my head didn’t really turn out the way i wanted to so i’m really happy that this didn’t happen today the inside of the house didn’t have a lot of space but that’s alright i guess this adds a Bit to the coziness of the build the house contains a crafting table a furnace a brewing stand and some storage for your armor and items after you come home from a long day of adventure i realized that i forgot a bed a little after i was complete with the interior so I added one on the second floor along with some extra storage i think the second floor definitely could have been done a little better but i still think that this is a great use of the little space that we have up there on the second floor outside on the Balcony you have a little seating area so that you can enjoy the sunrise from your balcony every morning and i think that’s pretty much all i have to say about this build i really enjoyed building this house and i hope you had just as much fun watching it Don’t worry guys i’ll get into the larger and more complex builds very soon but i don’t want to burn myself out completely right at the start i really enjoyed these little builds so i just want to continue that a little longer anyways that’s gonna be it from me so i Hope you liked the video make sure to smash that like button and i’ll see you in the next video have a good one guys and i will see you later So Do [Applause] You Video Information
