Hey guys what’s up mr. Ned getting into here and welcome back to a minecraft tutorial video I guess it’s not bad cuz this is my first one today I had a request from one of my followers on tik-tok where I posted this which I’m sure a lot of you know as the coffin Dance on tick-tock and he wanted me to do a tutorial for it so it’s pretty complicated but in the end if you do it properly it should sound something like this And you can repeat it as far as you want but as far as I’m concerned that’s where I want to stop because it lined up with what I wanted so onto the materials for what you need to build this thing alright for this build you will need two Stacks of dirt you can use other things that aren’t dirt dirt grass and air those are the three blocks you can use I chose dirt because it’s the easiest one to obtain and then you need a stack in 58 a plank wood planks this can be any wood including a notebook again I chose wood planks because they’re the easiest to get then you need three stacks and fifty eight o’clock’s that is for every note we are playing then again you need two stacks and fourteen repeaters and stack of redstone dust and a button to actually activate this and Now let’s get to actually building this thing alright to start out building this I suggest laying out I’ll give your dirt first this is personally what I find the easiest way to do that and just lay out your dirt you’re going to do eight a row Of eight with a gap in between each like so so you’ll do one space one space one one spit and then five six seven eight this will be where your note blocks go for your actual like chorus line of the notes you actually hear and then when You do and you take two spaces in between this and then do the same thing here you are going to make sixteen lines of dirt blocks like this and you’re going to skip over every time or skip to between each to make room for note blocks and redstone so I’m gonna go Ahead and fill that up and we’ll get to the next part I’ve got all my dirt in place and now to actually start this obviously I’m going to take my button which I thought I got out of it and place that on the first one now I’m What you’re going to do is you’re going to take a repeater and you’re going to put it in between every block and we’re gonna start like this on your button repeater going into the next spot and do one tick you’re going to do this for every block in between well not one tick But one click on the repeater which causes a two tick delay you’re gonna do this on every block until you get to the end of your dirt then what you do is you take one don’t click it take 4 redstone like so and your other repeater goes Into this one and then you repeat going the other way winding all the way down until you fill all of these up this is the easiest way to do the timing for this so once you fill all of this up we will move on to Step 3 or 4 I lost track at this point alright and when you get it done it should look something like this a big long redstone chain that should when you hit the button run the redstone all the way to the end yeah pretty stuff I know Next up to start off we’re going to start putting our note blocks this is going to be the chain of the melody the melody obviously meaning the main song the parts that you know and so what you need to do is you need to put a note Block on every dirt block and then we will start actually putting the proper notes into them so go ahead and fill up all your dirt blocks with note blocks and move on to the next step and once you get to this part we get to actually Start tuning the note blocks it’s a tune obviously you just right-click a certain amount of times with an empty hand or anything so to start off we are going to go down the line with every number and I’m probably going to make a list going Down of how many times you need to hit each note block on each one so starting off hit this one at three times if this one three times three times three times and those will be your first for it your Dan x4 it will each be seven times Then we’re gonna follow the redstone right to here which we will hit these next four or five times and then these next four will each be ten times and then this whole next row will all be 12 times okay and then our next row will be The first four it will each be 12 times as well alright and then the next four are going to change this next the fifth one and the order will be seven then after that you will hit five and then three and then two and after you finish This last block of the four three go ahead and break this redstone just so we can test our first four rows and if everything is correct so far it should sound something like this all right and after we verify to make sure that sounds about right we’re gonna Head go ahead and put our redstone back then we’ll begin to actually start the course so our first block we’re not going to touch the second block were actually going to break because this is a rest where no note is played the third block we again don’t touch our fourth block is Going to be hit seven times our fifth block is going to be hit five times our next blog is going to be broken our next block is going to be hit three times and our next block is going to be broken after that we’re going to go Ahead and move on to the next line which this first block of the next line will be hit twice next block will be broken next block will be hit twice again with the next block twice in the next block we’re going to hit five times next block Will be five times next block will be three next block will be five and then we’re going to move on to the next line we’re not going to touch this first part we’re gonna break the second block we’re not gonna touch the third block this next block we will hit 15 times Next walk we will hit 14 times next block will be 15 again and then 14 again and then the last one will be 15 again and then we go to our next line to finish our next round of four and we’re going to not touch the first block and We’re going to go to our next line to finish off the round of four again we’re going to not touch the first block break the second block not touch the third block and then we’re going to hit the next block fifteen times it’s basically going to be the same as last time it’s Just a repeating measure in the song so go ahead and fifteen fourteen fifteen fourteen fifteen once we finish up our second row force we’re gonna again break the redstone line just so we don’t have to listen to the whole thing and go back and double check again you don’t have to Double check this is just me making sure I did everything right should sound something like this And once you have double-checked go ahead and put your redstone line and I’m going to tell you a little secret about the next two parts the next two parts are all the exact same as the last part we just did so the next four lines are Gonna be the same as what I just taught you and after that those last four lines are gonna be the same again it’s just a repeating pattern so if you need to go back in the video I’ll go and put it on screen what time it’ll be and if not We’re ready to move on to the harmonizing parts or like the chords underneath it and this is where we will gain our wood so once you’re ready for your chords what we are going to do is we’re gonna go ahead and grab our wood here and we’re actually not going to be Able to put the button right here we can put it on the side or wherever if you want to have redstone running into it you want it to run it to this block but we’re going to start placing our wood and our wood is going to be to start off We’re going to place it on both sides of our first block we’re going to count 1 2 3 and our fourth block next we’ll put woods on both sides of it and then we’re going to do that again for the next line so we’ll do 1 2 and then up over here We’ll do 1 2 all right and then once you have these first two we’re going to do the next 2 as well so go ahead and do this like this and then go ahead and line up these two as well make sure not to break anything Okay um I made a mistake and I’m go ahead I noticed it now so on your second line instead of placing them all in a line your second and fourth line should be opposite of what the first and third line are so when you come down here You’re gonna come down and loop so it’ll be on the first one here so it’ll be first not these and third and not these they’ll be same with your fourth line I’m sorry if I confused you I kind of confused myself when I played it back to double-check after I placed All the note blocks but your first and third line should stay the same and then your second and fourth all you’re going to change is going back following the redstone and then the first and so it’ll be your first third or your first and fifth will have the wood alright and Once you have your first two lines of wood this is where we get to start adding a lot of wood so what we’re gonna do on our next line we’re the actual like drop starts is we’re going to put one piece of wood next to every dirt Block and this is going to be all the way for the rest of this so you’re going to want to go ahead and fill all of those in and once you do we will start actually tuning them and yes this does include dirt blocks that don’t have note Blocks on top that’s mainly why these dirt blocks are here is to power it so go ahead and start filling up your wood all right and once you have all your wood done we’re going to come back to the beginning and we are going to start Filling in note blocks a note block per wood it’s how you want to do it so go ahead and put all your note box down and we will once you do that we will start tuning the note block you all right and then once you’ve got all Of your note blocks place we get to start tuning them alright so we are going to go down the line again and start tuning so to start on our left we’re going to hit this left one eight times and then the right one is going to Be twenty times and then again with this one on the same first line it’s gonna be eight on the left and 20 on the right another thing to point out it doesn’t matter which side is which they both play at the same time so it should work Out just fine and then when we go to our next slide we are going to do ten on one and twenty-two on the other alright and then we’re gonna move over a line and we are going to go up to twelve on one and 24 on the other and then again with the Next one 12 and 24 and then we move over line and again we are going to do 12 and 24 on the respective note block you go ahead and break the Redstone after the fourth line we’ll go ahead and test this and it should sound something like this All right that sounds good to me and if your sounds like that go ahead and place your redstone line back and this is where more repetitiveness happens because that’s all this part seems to be so to start off what we’re going to do is alternate on our next line which will Be our fifth line starting at the beginning you’re going to hit eight times and then you are going to hit twenty times and this repeats for the rest of the line so eight twenty eight twenty eight twenty all right and once you finish that line we’re gonna go Ahead and move to the next line where we’re also going to alternate but instead of doing eight and twenty we’re going to go ahead and do ten and twenty two so go ahead and start with your first one and do ten and then your next one will be twenty two go ahead and Repeat that for the rest of the way down alright and then once you finish that one we’re going and move to the next line and we are going to go ahead and switch the alternating pattern up to 12 and 24 so your first one will be 12 and Then your second one will be twenty-four and you’ll go back and forth all the way down the row so this one will be twenty-four now once you finish that route you’re going to do the same on the next row so twelve twenty-four and so on So once you finish up this line go ahead and break the redstone so we can double check and if everything’s going right should sound something like this All right and now here comes the fun part remember how you have to repeat both of these again twice so yeah you’re gonna do the exact same thing for this one so go ahead and go back into the video and rewatch the last two parts it’s pretty simple obviously it’s just a Repeating pattern of up and down but other than that that’s how you make the coffin dance in Minecraft once you get fully done all sounds something like this And like I said you can repeat that as many times you want but other than that thank you guys so much for watching if you’re new around here please consider subscribing leave a like comment if it’s helped you in any way but yeah thank you as always thank you guys so much Watching and I will see you guys next time peace out see you guys Video Information

Slightly Complex version of Coffin Dance to use for doorbells or whatever you want! (EDIT): To go back to the First Part for Melody got to 5:15 To go back for the chords, go to 15:10 I also just noticed the screen goes black for about 30 seconds at 12:25 for some reason… to skip that, jump to 13:23
