Hello and welcome back to all the mods 8 last episode was freaking insane we got loads of loot from Dungeons and a Skyship we built some armor some new tools and got ourselves an iron jet pack now this episode is the big one we’re going to be going for all the modium the

Arguably most important metal in the series it’s the gateway to everything that opens up further down the line in all the mods eight and it turns out getting it is a little bit trickier than all the mod 6. we have to go to the deep

Dark so I feel like I’m ready let’s jump in now as always each episode starts with a few tips and tricks that you guys have shared with me in the comments section keep those coming in now one of those comments was hey Jin if you have any

I got a little bit ahead but yeah I was a bit Bamboozled by this whole ore setup and it turns out the game kind of expects you to either use silk touch or fortune on a pickaxe what do I mean well I was complaining last episode I

Was saying oh my God they nerfed or processing but the truth is now that they’ve got the new ore system and when you dig iron you get raw iron rather than the raw iron ore it means you can have fortune on your pickaxe and get loads more

So the mod creators have kind of had to balance that with mechanism to make sure you don’t just get like 20 ore from one dig and in fact I’m going to show you what I mean now one of the quests we did gave us some raw ore as a reward iron

Ore here we go and I’m going to put this into the system to show you what it does instead in goes the iron ore chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga Now as you can see one iron ore will become four shards and then those four shards what are they gonna become one clamp two clamp three clamp four Clump four ingots of iron so basically from one iron ore we get four ingots and that means well yeah so we have one to

Four or duplication already the problem is it doesn’t count if you’re using raw gold so what does that mean well my friends at home what it means is it’s time to get silk touch on this refined obsidian mother trucker now as you know silent gear has a number of different

Traits that come with any material you use to make a piece of gear but the key thing we’re looking for is a trait called silky so how do we find out which materials have this trait this silky trait that gives us silk touch so far looking in game is a bit of a

Pain there’s no real way to do it and it looks like Yeah The Silent gear guide is not implemented and unlikely to happen anytime soon use this item to get a link to the wiki so we’re going to the website and uh yeah checking which material has silk touch on it and here

We go very exciting oh man every single trait in the game at our disposal QRS silky add silk touch to harvest tools and it’s found on agates or kunzite what the hell is kunzite so you heard it here first friends it’s kunzite wait that doesn’t even exist

Or a gate that doesn’t even exist wait what so it looks like we’ve been kind of boned by the mod there is nothing here that has silky on it and it’s a shame because one of you in the comment section said bronze had silky on it but no it doesn’t

So it looks like we’ve got to hit silk touch the old-fashioned way with a few books and an enchantment table now luckily enough last episode check it out I got like a stack of diamonds from that floating Skyship that’s pretty nuts I’m gonna put this stuff into the computer for now

So we’ve got a clean backpack we’ve got cardboard boxes in case we find valuable spawners which we’re gonna pilfer I’ll put the full ones down here at the bottom don’t know what they are but I guess it’ll be fun finding those out I’ve never done hostile neural networks

Before but setting up a mob farm using these does sound like it would be fun but there’s one more thing I want to craft before we go on our Epic Journey now basically I don’t want any more colonists to die I’m really I’m really sad for tuppy and was it jadayla and uh

Who was the last guy that died it kind of been that important sorry dude oh my God no it was Doctor Doctor something doctor doctor Dr Jones paging Dr Jones it was Dr Jones yeah anyway what we’re going to do to protect our dudes is make one of the holdovers

That luckily enough did make it into the mod pack we’re gonna make some Mega torches we’ve got loads of blocks of gold now we’ve got loads of wood torches and we can afford the diamonds so I do think four Mega torches around the the edges of our Colony will be vital

Okay here we go now where are we gonna put these Mega torches to get most bang for our buck what does the tooltip say on Mega torches a big radius now it doesn’t give you a number but the number I’ve heard online roughly is about 64 blocks now how many blocks

Is 64 blunt block blanks anyway I think we’ll kind of be safe if we put one at like kind of the corners of the colony so we’ll put one here there we go So roughly about here is when that last Mega torch runs out so we’ll put one down here as well I suppose there we go then we’re going to put one over here by the village and this might help protect the village as well maybe also I think

Our base kind of Falls within this catchment radius as well so that could be useful too so I’ll put one right here and then we’ll go back over to this corner and put the final Mega torch in the other corner of the colony oh now speaking of the colony our

Builder is hard at work digging out the last building that we’ve got for our quad four and that’s right it’s gonna be the tavern once that’s in place we’re gonna get loads more patreon members loads more colonists funneling in oh my God the sugar cane that’s that’s

Gonna be crazy to mine imagine if we just leave it until it hits the sky um I think the game will crash if we ultimind that I think it will anyway over here with the final Mega torch there we go and these are out in the open so I know

Where they are because these things are very valuable I don’t want to lose them by burying them underground it’s kind of a bit cheaty but I remember when I was recording old Minecraft series uh like Moon Quest whatever the server admin would hide Mega torches or their old mod equivalent whatever it

Was back then I think it was like interdiction torches he’d go around and just spread them all underground so you’d never see monsters around the base and that’s why they didn’t turn up it was like a cheaty way to you know not have monsters mess your stuff up early

On but we’re too legit for any of that stuff now also you guys probably have noticed and I just kind of glazed over it but yeah hey how’s it going spinny our warehouse has been completed look at this no uh honestly yes it’s level one yes it

Does kind of look a little bit ugly but what’s very cool is it’s added the couriers Hut right next to it And I can only assume that it’s put it here because this is the best location for the Courier’s Hut right so in theory all we need to do is go to build options Builder Shire style and those are very simple materials oh my God and say bada boom butter Bing build that building

Now the big thing is that the Torches protect against Monsters but they don’t protect against raids so if there’s a raid we’re gonna have to come home pretty quick because these guys are going to get boned with a capital B but before we go away a little bit of

Colony maintenance because look at this oh my all the seeds the biggest problem of modded Minecraft combined with mine colonies is all of the modded seeds that your Builder picks up just from digging stuff up now a quick look inside the warehouse and yeah this is level one but oh my god

Look all the exposed dirt I do hope this thing comes together as it gets higher in level but yeah and also there’s some of these uh racks overlap all in all I’m not super impressed with level one of this build oh and we’ve also got these demons dream seeds and occultism is a

Mod I really want to go into so that’s an evil craft and what we’re gonna dive into pretty soon we kind of mess with mechanism but we’ve got to wait until we get more power before we head further on into that mod okay let’s go and charge

Our jet pack and go and find some all the modium now again a massive thank you to all of your comments there’s still so many that have to read some of you guys had used a heat generator with some lava around it for Passive Generation all kinds of tips

Are coming in and they’re all amazing the tips I want mostly about are evil craft Elemental craft all of those occultism stuff I want to know what’s going on with that but also all of the loot that I found last episode keep it coming in because I have no idea what

Half of that stuff does so there’s two things you want to do before we go charging off to get our first all the modium number one we make a Nature’s compass then this is very simple to make for of any sapling four of any log and a compass in the middle

Will tell us where the deep dark biomes are the nearest one specifically number two we need backpack space and now that we are swimming in diamonds it’s time for us to upgrade that too so let’s take this golden backpack out surrounded by diamonds and what do you know we now have a

Diamond backpack we can then upgrade this even further I believe into another right backpack but that’s a bit expensive for us so let’s put this back on and see how big it is whoa yeah a lot more space in here that’s fantastic also more room for modifications and we

Can take out one of these feeding upgrades because yeah we only need one honestly we might as well make a bigger stack size upgrade yeah stack upgrade tier let’s make one of these because yeah this is going to give us even more space in our backpack so boom an upgrade

Base a couple of those then we surround it by what is that iron do we have enough iron for that oh that’s expensive isn’t it actually we made a whole bunch over here so why not oh yeah look at this stuff thank God for all duplication so stack upgrade tier one

Into the computer now can we make that into tier two surrounded by blocks of gold now that’s going to be even more expensive and we’re running out of gold but still one stack upgrade is pretty legendary it’ll mostly come in handy with ores so we’ve got more space now

We’ve got a way to find the uh all the modium now we’re gonna go and get silk touch on our pickaxe so that when we actually dig up the all the modium we get more than just one block now to do that I’m going to need books enchanting tables and bookcases so let’s

Do that so Numero Uno an enchanter’s table oh but I forgot right we’ve got apotheosis which means we can get even better bookshelves so what are the bookshelves from apotheosis let’s take a look oh draconic hell shells with blaze rods and potions of regeneration a sea shelf that’s probably the cheapest

But a puffer fish I don’t have any of those or any prismarine bricks wait whoa what’s this the Library of Alexandria this sounds freaking nuts an enchantment Library infused Health shelves ender chests that sounds pretty freaking amazing though so as far as flaws go the bottom floor

Is going to be all processing and at the moment this floor is just going to be storage and miscellaneous but what I want to do is create my own private little kind of Penthouse room probably on the top floor where I put things like enchanting and Gear Generation just all

The stuff that’s about me and not specifically other mods so here we go an enchantment setup is always pretty simple to do we go that’s a number of bookshelves around what’s going to be our enchantment table and we’re going to put this in the middle uh-huh so hovering over it gives us a

Quote of how much Eterna quanta and Arcana is attached to this table so fingers crossed we put the pickaxe in here oh so it tells you what each available enchantment could be this is a very cool UI so basically if you’re leveling up a level three thing so let’s go back if

You pick one of these level three enchants it shows you these are the things that could be on it so come on come on let’s be lucky let’s get silk touch on our pickaxe Charming there the runes reveal all wait do the runes actually reveal anything

So really what we’re going for is even more Arcana if we can up the Arcana available in our enchantment table we can get rarer in chance so that’s a bit of a shame I’d hoped for silk touch before we found some all the modium but

We’re just gonna have to wing it and go with that we’re still gonna get enough through this whole ore process in fact what I could do is pick up the ore with a cardboard box then I can bring it home and store it here until I’m ready to

Silk touch it maybe that’s a good idea we’ll have to see if that works so iron jetpack fully charged let’s put it on now our Compass should point the way it’s still configured to the deep dark biome and it says if we look at the little pin where is it

It is this direction which is due well almost due West ah now along the way we’re probably gonna find a whole bunch of cool stuff so pickaxes at the ready get ready to raid and this will all be good stuff to remember where it is now over there I

Believe I can see what looks like one of those blue skies Dimension Gateway so if you want to check out that mod that’s where that begins also right on my doorstep I never even saw this one is a pretty cool portal oh my god with some amazing balloons all

This time on my doorstep what the hell whoa whoa ours Nouveau so also I want to dip into ours Nouveau as well pretty quick because it’s a mod that I freaking love I love ours Magicka it’s the spiritual successor so oh hello looks like a giant mushroom

Dungeon thing place now I saw these before in all the mods six and they did have stuff inside what kind of spawner is this uh skeleton spawner trash goodbye just deal with this dude oh no He’s messed up my fov can’t see but neither can he now because he’s dead also can skirt and see because they don’t have eyeballs glowberries or a box of Eternal closure that’s a weird one and um yeah we’ll take the rest of it because why not I love it I love just Soaring Over the landscape with this iron jet pack it’s given me a real feel for what this mod has to offer and all of the cool buildings that I can find most of it though just seems to be these weird kind

Of dungeon tops basically if you follow this all the way down to the bottom it’s a crappy dungeon with some crappy Loot and a crappy boss it’s kind of a crappy time all around but this thing what is this thing oh environmental accumulator from Evil craft

Now it says no tool does that mean I should or shouldn’t dig it up or should I just remember where this is and are the chests going to have evil craft loots no no such luck oh look at this a Corral Tombstone experience scroll s gems could be important and we’re

Going to go into oh a stopworm nah we’ll forget about that for the time being we’re gonna try and gather up all the ours Nouveau stuff we can because after this episode I really want to build like a wizard tower section to my base and start investigating ours nouveau

Now I’m going to take these pressure tubes because what I want to do as well is use pneumatic craft to make a lift in our main Tech Tower and if this stuff is from pneumatic craft well we’re going to grab it because let’s face it my backpack is huge now

So I don’t need to save the space oh what’s this oh my God it’s another one of these skyships and you know I can’t resist let’s go and get some loot the loot in here is so insane Rest In Pieces suns are guns uh we’ll just grab

And go grab and go oh totem of undying loads of diamonds always worth it always worth right not the right scrap very cool very cool always worth reading these things always always always get out of here scum now wait is this a wither skeleton spawner yes it is so you know what I’m

Gonna grab up with my box one of these because that could be useful yeah the good the good stuff okay Oh my God the knock power oh I am I am playing with fire right now that’s twice I’ve almost been thrown to my Doom oh my God Oh interdiction torches literally just talking about those Quest complete to the nether hate to break it to your pal but I was there ages ago don’t quote don’t quote the old magic to me which oh hello what a place oh dude I’m not sure you want to come and visit me here it’s uh it’s pretty intense but yeah

Sure you do you so onwards to Glory where it’s deep dark biome this Direction only 3 000 blocks to go so at the rate at which the distance is climbing down and the rate at which I’m using my Jetpack power I think we should just about make it in time foreign

On the map it looks really messy oh oh my God this just looks really ugly dirt and sand is not a good mix that’s a hard pass from me my friends oof and those Desert Hills look more like tiramisu or like Play-Doh that’s uh the kid’s toy not the Greek philosopher

Oh look at this oh I’m glad I stopped to look at the Lions because there is also now are lions hostile now in real life they kind of are but they’re also kind of not they’re pretty chill dudes unless they’re real hungry it looks like these guys aren’t too

Hungry either that’s good to know how’s it going bro hey uh it’s a dirty looking dude now obviously once we get where we’re going we’re gonna have to dig down to find the deep dark biome because it’s not an above ground biome oh what’s this strange little kind of meteorite Zone with

Mysterious Cube did we dig it up yeah pickaxe oh ah so this is how they do it now it’s mysterious Cube not like a weird chest and it’s got all the inscribers you need engineering logic silicon calculation yeah that’s much better than having to find like several little asteroids and get lucky

Another evil craft neck we’re very far away from our base now so if I just smack this either I can take it and we get it or I can’t take it and nothing’s lost because we’re never coming back here anyway says no tools I’m going to do this open-handed

Oh no not at that speed Okay so we didn’t get much we’ve got environmental accumulator core okay well that could come in handy oh my God nebulous heart oh these can be made to make I think you use these to make ender pearls can you yeah one becomes three oh that’s great Loot and that’s great loot origins of

Darkness so this is apparently uh the guidebook the tutorial book for evil craft so I’m going to be using that in an episode soon to start getting started to get to start getting started with evil craft oh man there’s some real good looking biomes if you’re ever hard up for

Finding a place to put your base in this mod pack then I don’t know what’s wrong with you because there’s just so many cool places okay we’re getting very close now with 1 300 blocks to go so another Crater from applied energistics are we going to break into

This one as well see what’s inside because if it’s not a mysterious Cube I don’t know what it is wait no this is from Ad Astra weight blocks of coal this this thing’s literally made up of blocks of coal oh that’s that’s amazing and the loot well

You can’t argue with that moon sand get rid of those nuggets though they suck but honestly coal is still so valuable to me at this stage I’m gonna be picking this up oh that’s amazing look at all of this coal oh this is nuts this will power my base for days

But why would an asteroid have coal don’t they know that coal was made from dinosaur bodies right so there are dinosaurs on the moon isn’t that the plot to one of the Transformer movies oh wait no no I think that was knives out anyway let’s keep going

Whoa look at the speed look at the speed oh another crater what’s this oh you know what I can’t say no to more coal this is this is probably the best thing it’s honestly kids hate it at Christmas but I love it Cole that would be amazing I would love that

Well okay this is where we’re gonna go and take our journey underground because look at this there’s a giant hole into the center of the earth ready-made for us In search of a deep dark pile only 70 blocks in this Direction come on Jeeves let’s go G is obviously the name of my uh Adventurer Butler every every famous archaeologist needs an adventurer Butler sidekick Mickey T load your rifle and sharpen your knives so where are we going 54

Blocks in this direction yeah let’s let’s get digging so we’re gonna crack out the hammer now it’s hammer time and get digging serious speed here foreign Now I see monsters on the minimap that means we must be getting close they’re all oh no okay guys be very quiet we just made it to the deep dark right there is that all the modium see if we can float over to that glowing block over there which I think is

The real deal hover mode engaged on our jetpack wait oh my God it didn’t work that’s embarrassing okay don’t want to attract the warden oh it’s gold oh wait what’s that over there use some basil to climb this could be the stuff all the modium Slate oh we’ve done it

Now can we cardboard box this up why am I whispering can we cardboard box this up no no there’s no way to couple box it up so I guess oh my God no pickaxe level netherite okay guys well get ready for the clock wipe of your

Life because I’m Gonna Fly all the way home and look into upgrading my pickaxe with another right tip I’ve got the netherrite luckily enough but I think at least from our journey so far so fingers crossed see you in a sec okay and I’ve made it

Home with jetpack fuel to spare by the looks the journey is a bit more efficient when you’re not flying around looting and booting okay so let’s go and drop off all of our stuff from our backpack and look into making another right tip for our pickaxe oh my God so

Don’t make my mistake we need to make another right pickaxe and it makes sense because when you look in the quest it tells you to get netherrite before you get all the modium and I should have known that’s why so okay another right pickaxe Where Do

We Begin well we’re not going to make another right pickaxe instead what we’re gonna do is get our blueprint book out and use a silent gear tip on our refined obsidian pickaxe to bring the mining level up to netherrite that’s what we’re going to do instead now how are we going

To get this netherite into bars now there’s the basic way obviously combine it with gold and we should get at least one Ingot out of that which we can then use for the tip is there any way we what’s this item mixing with hex array a broom never writes it wait broom wait

We can be like full-on witches allow brooms to travel through Lava without burning oh my God I want to make a broom yeah no it looks like there’s no real way to use our or processing facility to get more out of this netherrite at least not while it’s in its another right

Scrap form rather than ancient debris so we’ll just get some gold and make our first block of another right Another word upgrade so let’s see what this actually gives us because quests like this usually give us some real juice so we’ve got enchanting time oh man more bookshelves and books great to know to the nether thank you very much lots of XP for that then another right upgrade ancient or

Something oh and from this we get some ancient debris which we can turn into another ingot very cool so what we’re going to do is we’re going to try putting this into our all processing Network see what happens can we inject ancient debris no we can’t inject ancient debris can we purify it

No we can’t purify it did we crush it what happens if we try and crush it oh this could be bad might work though I won’t say no yeah now oh we got three dirty netherite scrap oh so we can turn one ancient debris into three netherite scrap that’s

Pretty good that’s a pretty good conversion ratio so now we can make a second Ingot that’s pretty good so we’re gonna use this now with a tip blueprint which should be right here so an upgrade base the tip upgrade and then on the right the nether right

Because you don’t want to be nether wrong wait what can you not make a netherite tip oh maybe it has to be a coating oh now I feel like oh what have we done with this we’re gonna add the coating to our pickaxe yes tier four Harvest level as your silver who okay

Now this should be what we need to get that ATM or Aha so here we are back deep underground and oh here it is the all the mod slate ore not regular oh nothing’s too quick so we’ve got the netherite refined obsidian pickaxe and it works yes it’s gonna work oh one two oh well while we’re here let’s keep looking because until the warden

Arrives it’s all fair game oh now this is oh my God what the hell are those it’s okay for now they’re not attacking um and luckily enough all the mod ore glows stupid crazy bright so finding it is not too hard we’re gonna go home with

Quite a fair bit I do believe yeah look at this there’s even more over here oh you guys were right this stuff is abundant it’s not that hard to find not compared to six well nothing for the time being yeah it looks like uh I think the warden is

Pretty far away but we don’t need to worry too much about attracting his eye also number one important thing when you’re Gathering all the modium ore is a jet pack this lets you swoop around these Caverns very quickly finding all of what you’re looking for but also it

Means you don’t touch the floor which is the most important thing when you’re trying not to wake up Wardens so do you know what I feel like I’ve kind of exhausted this biome for all of the raw all the modium I’m going to really all you want to do is get at

Least one piece of ore from your first deep dark Byron because then with this in hand you can go to the mining Dimension where all the modium ore is so much more abundant so my Compadres that is where we’re gonna end this episode I asked the question how do we get all the

Modium ore we made a bit of a mistake with the pickaxe but we did finally get there also we discovered a bit more about the loop that’s possible to get in dungeons turns out the deep dark biomes are not scary at all if you have a jet

Pack and Nature’s Compass is the way to get here now next week we’ve got the all the Modern War I’m not sure if I want to use it yet because I kind of want to do a bit of bass maintenance thank you for watching as always hit like subscribe until next time though
