At the end of 2022 Mojang added seven new default skins to Minecraft no longer would Steve and Alex be the player’s only options Mojang explained the studio created these skins to help players feel more represented as someone from a mixed background I thought this was a fantastic idea the skin colors are Diverse but their clothes also suggest each skin has a distinct personality at Minecraft live 2022 game director Agnes Larson explained the new default Skins are more like characters than player skins speaking of characters let me introduce you to Lego brickheadz figures these are displayable character figures You build with Lego bricks in 2018 Lego released brickheadz number 58 and 59 Steve and Creeper respectively these two are adorable but it’s been almost five years since Lego released Minecraft brickheadz figures and since Mojang recently added the new default skins now is the perfect time to take matters into My own hands I decided to turn all seven of the new default Minecraft skins into Lego brickheadz figures Mojang created the Skins to help players feel represented so I didn’t want to leave a single one out speaking of which stick around because I made a special eighth Minecraft figure I’ll show you at the end of the video by the way for every 10 likes this video receives I’ll upload a building tutorial for one of these brickheadz figures including a list of Lego parts so if the video reaches 80 likes you’ll get a tutorial for every Figure in this video so make sure to make your contribution and now without further Ado let’s get started our first skin is sunny we’re starting off strong since they’re one of my favorites first they’re the only default skin rocking a hat second they have a prosthetic in Place of their missing arm an excellent way to represent more people but now let’s turn Sunny into a Lego figure we love Lego spills on this channel so let’s see how I do with this first one a little weak but it was my first spill of the day I used the exact proportions Of the official Steve burkett’s figure to build mine Minecraft skins share the same dimensions so these figures should too that being said here’s sunny I struggle to choose the right Lego color for their skin bright white orange was my closest bet even if it makes Sunny Look like a Simpson check out the bottom of Sonny’s overalls I used a lighter blue to represent the rolled up bottoms recreating the top of Sunny’s overalls was fun but my favorite detail is Sunny’s prosthetic arm finally Sunny fishes in the reveal trailer so I gave them a fishing rod Now for a more complex skin Kai Kai’s wearing a robe belt and socks with sandals this one will be tricky so let’s start with a decent Lego spill That spill was better than my first but points off because several pieces stuck to the tape Kai’s rocking a tan just like Sunny so I used bright light orange again for their skin color so now we have two Simpsons I recreated Kai’s sandals using different colored Lego Pieces for their belts I made a magenta trail running down their leg unfortunately the figure isn’t big enough for the circle on Kai’s robe so I put a lavender rectangle there instead rectangles are more faithful to Minecraft than circles anyway while we’re looking at Kai’s back I used a Dark red tile to represent their hair tie and while we’re looking at Kai’s hair I parted the hair on Kai’s forehead like the original skin finally I gave Kai their hoe which is a piece that only appears in one Lego Minecraft set as of this video so it was expensive McKenna’s next and they looked much more straightforward than kai however their hair would be a challenge so let’s see how I do with this spill too slow and some pieces stuck to the tape again I need to improve before the video ends building McKenna went smoothly I used dark brown for McKenna’s Skin color unfortunately I couldn’t find dark brown grip pieces for their hands so I used reddish brown instead I love how McKenna’s shirt splits around their waist and I did a decent job recreating their hair I used the same hair part from the kai figure because they’ve got the same forehead situation McKenna Holds a water bucket while Zuri runs through their farm so I also gave one to Lego McKenna speaking of Zuri they’re our next skin Zuri is my favorite new default skin so let’s get a proper Lego spill here a little shy on the spell but at least I Learned to avoid the tape I used reddish brown for Zuri’s skin color and fortunately I found every necessary piece in that color my favorite parts are Zuri’s belt and shirt collar in the reveal trailer Zuri was mining so I gave them their pickaxe Zuri was the easiest figure yet which Was fine because the final three were way more challenging let’s start with AFE I hope I’m saying that right AFE is easily the most fashionable skin out of the bunch I knew this skin would give me problems so I needed a great Lego spell for good luck I’m still a little sheepish on the spill but hey it’s in the name I used medium nougat for afe’s skin color I captured the gold accents on their boots using bright light yellow pieces the same goes for the belt buckle I don’t know why aphase Belt doesn’t wrap around their Entire waist but I ensured my Recreation was faithful to the original skin after starting a phase space I realized I didn’t have the correct pieces to design their forehead precisely like their Minecraft skin however this project was already expensive enough so I settled for this planer design I’m obsessed with These shots of AFE writing their Valiant Steed in the reveal trailer so I gave ethay a carrot on a stick to complete the figure hey Faye was a struggle but there’s no rest for the weary since next up is Ari Ari has several features that scared me I needed a great spill here so let’s see how I did except for that last piece not bad I used light nougat for their skin color I worried about their ponytail but fortunately it came out well if you look closely you’ll notice one Lego plate is a different color to represent Ari’s Hair band moving up to their head the first thing you’ll probably notice is Ari’s blush I love this small detail in the Minecraft Skin So I highlighted it in the Lego figure unfortunately I couldn’t find earpieces the same color as Ari’s light nougat’s skin so I substituted them with tan pieces finally I gave the figure a pickaxe because we see them mining in the reveal trailer I can’t stop looking at Ari’s forehead after seeing this Reddit post about the new skins receding hairlines nowhere might be balding too but for now they have the best hair in the batch they’re also the final new skin so come on let’s get a good Lego spill Now that’s what I’m talking about I use dark orange for Nora’s skin color Norse torso is complicated because of their hair and two shirts but I made it work nor holds no other notable items in the reveal trailer so I gave them the redstone torch everyone passes around And that wraps up the new default skins however I promised a special eighth brickheadz figure naturally I was talking about Alex unfortunately she’s never received an official Lego brickheadz figure so let’s take care of that while we’re here this is the actual last Lego spill so the pressure’s on Nailed it I decided on tan for Alex’s skin color the official Steve figure also has tan skin but the color fits Alex better one of the most challenging Parts was the top of Alex’s torso I wanted to include her shirt collar but I also had to incorporate her ponytail However I’m happy with how it turned out the two sides of Alex’s head are noticeably different so I ensure the ponytail side had more hair than the other like Noor I gave Alex a redstone torch because during the reveal trailer the new skins work to return her redstone torch And now that Alex has her torch back my Lego Minecraft brickheadz figures are complete I couldn’t wait to recreate this shot using my figures but now that they’re all lined up I feel like something’s missing wait I know they need the new Minecraft Crocs there we go Like I said at the beginning for every 10 likes this video receives I’ll upload a tutorial showing you how to build these figures yourself including Lego parts list so if the video gets 80 likes you’ll get tutorials for each figure in the meantime if you liked what you saw In this video you should check out this one where I try to improve an official Lego Minecraft set Video Information

Minecraft’s new default skins are fantastic, so I turned all seven into LEGO BrickHeadz figures! (I also snuck in a particular eighth figure at the end of the video…)
For every 10 likes this video receives, I’ll upload a build tutorial for one of these LEGO figures as a YouTube Short. So if the video reaches 80 likes, I’ll share tutorials for every figure in this video!
