Technoblade Never Dies Documentary Now In Production

Riot Games and Hypixel Studios are funding the feature film about the late Minecraft creator with all profits going to charity and full family approval already secured.

One of Minecraft’s most enduring figures is getting the documentary treatment. Technoblade Never Dies is now in active production with the full cooperation of his family and major backing from Riot Games and Hypixel Studios.

The film comes from Candle True Stories and is directed by Steven Lake. It will blend Technoblade’s own videos with new interviews and material never shown before. All profits that would have gone to the financiers are being donated to charity.

Community Gets a Direct Role

The official project site makes it clear this is not a top down production. It is actively calling for stories and footage from the community that helped make him a legend. Submissions close in mid October after which editing begins.

Technoblade built something that outlived him. This documentary is the Minecraft community getting the chance to make sure that stays true on the big screen instead of fading into old YouTube recommendations.

Technoblade’s impact on Minecraft content creation was massive. His sharp humor technical skill and later battle with cancer connected with millions. The phrase Technoblade Never Dies was already a community rallying cry. Now it is becoming a literal film title.

I have always been so proud of my son Alex and miss him terribly.

That comes from his mother via the project site. The producers emphasize sensitivity to the real person behind the pig crown avatar while celebrating what the community built around him.
