Thank you Foreign Thank you [Applause] hey that’s pretty good Yep never thought I’d be making another light Bender build look here we are my last Light Bender video had too many issues that I just couldn’t ignore coincidentally I was sent a build by bird maid that had so many fun aspects to it that I just had to make another video Now you see I am a nerd when it comes to wind cup mechanics and this build takes advantage of something pretty funny pandemonium it wouldn’t surprise me if you’ve never heard of this item before this bracelet has some pretty ridiculous requirements and downsides all for a Funny major ID you see Madness casts a random spell from your class every three seconds in order Updates this item used to cast spells from any class which just made it a funny item instead of anything actually viable for class building but now that it only casts from your class This major ID has some ridiculous potential Mage has three archetypes Rift Walker light bender and Arcanist Madness doesn’t do anything special for Rift Walker unfortunately it just casts the four spells as normal however Madness does have some janky impact or light bender and arcanus one of Arcanist archetype defining features is that Their heels belt is replaced Arcane transfer Madness doesn’t cast Arcane transfer it casts heal Arceus gets their heels fell back and it’s awesome and for light Bender yeah Madness is really good light Bender replaces their meteor spell with an ability called open them these orbs rotate behind the player and throw Themselves at enemies when you initially cast the spell and every time you melee attack after that open up is a pretty cool spell it isn’t a one-time use but rather a spell that persists these orbs have their own amount of health and your heal spell will heal them just like if They were your own party members this concept gets even cooler once you get the abilities that activate based on how much health you have healed like fortitude a damaged buff that increases your damage by a huge chunk for a few seconds the orbs don’t go away unless They run out of hell indicated by the color of the orb they lose Health every time that individual orb hits an enemy and over time due to this spells persistence the price of the spell is increased by a ton open them can cost more than 50 Mana to cast and that’s When pandemonium becomes one of the most important parts of this build costs more than 50 Mana I don’t care even if I do have to manually cast a spell once it will only be that once and then I don’t have to worry about it ever again the Only spell I will need to cast this build is the heal spell and even that spell I may only need to cast once every several seconds there’s some weird stuff going on here with pandemonium and the heal spell lightbender has an ability that Buffs the heel spell by adding follow-up heel Pulses after casting heel called orphean’s pulse it increases your total healing but spaces your healing out by a couple seconds each casting heal before the second or third pulse will just reset the cycle and then you’ll start from the beginning as what normally happens when you cast the heel spell Yourself but if pandemonium casts the heal spell after you have already cast heal the pandemonium’s heel will stack the heel pulses this is an important part of meeting the healing requirements for abilities like fortitude or sun flare and it will readily sustain the health of your orbs especially if you do Raids and manage to get Buffs that razor raid P healing is an incredible part of lightbender and it’s even a great source of damage light Bender doesn’t just need to be a healing archetype Enter lightweaver after healing a certain amount of your health one of your orbs will start rotating around three orbs is the total but with an upgrade you can get five this ability is a very strong ability for dealing damage and all you need to do is make sure There is proper spacing between you and your enemy too close and it won’t hit too far and it will hit but if you have just the right amount of spacing that’s where you get your damage this is where the identification walk speed becomes important since it gives you the ability To easily keep spacing between you and your enemy what about taking less damage the vitalize reduces the amount of damage you take based on the amount of winded applied to the enemy this is important for people who aren’t concerned with doing as much damage as possible but instead want to be a little Bit tankier oh right I forgot with windcraft 2.0 ability tree system there are plenty of splitting paths you can take abilities from other archetypes in order to strength in your main archetype in this example we will be using with Walker’s windsweeper and its various upgrades windsweeper applies winded Every time you melee attack with a half second cooldown this is no issue since you’ll be melee attacking to utilize open anyway breathless makes Mages meet your spell or in this case open them deal more damage according to how much winded is applied to the enemy pair this With the 2.0.2 new ability stronger opium and now our damage is comparable to Arcanist and Rift Walker there will be a few different light Bender ability trees in the video description one of which will be the build I’m showcasing in this video this build utilizes my favorite Mythic in the game warp with His incredibly High walk Speed absurdly high teleport cost production and the highest base damage one of the game it has everything I would ever need the cost uh it’s just some negative main regen and negative health regen the two very pricey identifications to attempt and fix with other equipment amazingly these Neighbors either have less impact or are beneficial remember how widebender is all about health yield being an important part of activating abilities and dealing damage since you’ll be constantly healing anyway having negative health regen is actually to our benefit negative matergen doesn’t hurt us as much either typically the Mage Class is largely spell spam heavy but it’s lightbender pandemonium’s majority Madness already cast the most expensive spell you should need otherwise casting a heal spell once every five seconds is the fullest extent to how much he’ll be casting still of course the cost to meet the skill point requirements for Pandemonium and warp at the same time is pretty heavy using both far Cosmos prism and Diamond Fusion necklace that is a total of 85 skill points by themselves these items only give skill points and it is necessary even with 85 bonus skill points we need far more more Stardust and anxiolytic these two Items give us another chunk of 62 skill points alongside some nice identifications morph Stardust overall is very nice a staple helmet in Rainbow builds anxio the leggings are also very nice for this build anxio has a very intriguing item design and I nerded out about it on my discord’s weird windcraft Mechanics stuff Channel with these two armor pieces we now have a bonus total of 147 skill points this much bonus we have room to play around with up first Violet shift would have really hurt to include another major ID nope and especially not entropy entropy increases our damage by Increasing the speed of the orbs giving us manage and lifesteal and spell damage lifesteal is seemingly not an important identification but our ability tree stems away from the normal light Bender ability trees and takes the ability to see odds earning up to a total of 50 Bonus spell damage all you need is 250 lifesteal total up next a game I’m gonna dumb down some lightbender open a mechanics def because I don’t quite get it either here’s why we need this ring slow attack speed is the best for light Bender warp has a base attack speed of Very fast we need to change that to make warp more comfortable with light vendor slow attack speed has just enough of a gap between melee attacks that you can ignore the winded cooldown a cave comfortably does this by giving us a required negative attack speed this is called teardrop usually used with the Intent of getting down to super slow for steel or mixed Mana builds in this case we are using it for a specific light Bender use the best negative attack speed roll you can get for a cave is -3 and fortunately that should be pretty common Optimum attacks by cycling Through the six orbs after each melee attack each melee attack will reset the cycle from a fixed point this fixed Point won’t always start with the same orb because the orbs are constantly rotating behind you optimizing for lower attack speeds will keep the health of your orbs in check instead of risking Them dying fast this lets you comfortably click as fast as you want without having to worry about them dying as long as you maintain your healing pulses they should be all right right this also lets us more efficiently take advantage of the weapon powder special for applying to warp the weapon powders That we’re going to be using are one tier 6 air powder and two tier 6 water powders this allows us to use the Ability curse which increases the damage in any takes by 30 or 4 seconds there’s so much going on with this build and I love it and guess what That’s not all it’s not all there’s more to it there’s more to it father shifts spell damage ID is a rather stupid one neutral raw spell this idea is pretty much normal raw spell except it only applies if your weapon has neutral damage in its weapon value I could leave You with this explanation and be on my way but no no no no no no no no this wouldn’t work the warp doesn’t have any neutral damage so wouldn’t this mean we’re not taking advantage of violet shifts neutral raw spell no you’re wrong we still are but how it’s because of a Visual bug applied powders are not displayed visually and instead have some ghost values in there I shouldn’t be doing any neutral damage with this spell but as you can see I’m doing neutral damage and this matters for more than just Violet shift Warriors discombobulate is also affected by this The current best guess is as long as none of the elements exceed a hundred percent in neutral conversion to the powder’s element you will have invisible neutral value you can tell this from within the powder adding step hover over the check and read the numbers as long As a specific element doesn’t reach 100 neutral conversion your weapon will still have invisible neutral damage value and by the way oh oh oh what the I can’t just expect everyone to be Gucci out the Wazoo enough to afford a warp so I offer you a cheap solution Cascade yes Looney that’s right Cascade Cascade is an incredible non-mythic wand that deals damage in every element assault your enemies with the power of the rainbow of course this build wouldn’t be much of an alternative if it didn’t feature the highlight of today’s build showcase Agave also makes an appearance don’t Forget that for the best results you want that -3 attack speed the beautiful necklace contrast requires you to complete the difficult Kira Hive Quest good luck now I never realized how much I liked Light Bender’s archetype design until now. It’s so incredibly cool (thanks Xavier), albeit boring without the right build. Warp is fundamentally the most fun wand, so it makes sense that Warp would round out the boring parts of Light Bender in a roundabout way!
for anyone reading this, you’re cool. This build isn’t optimal, it’s not perfect, it has flaws, but I make this video in the goal of showcasing “fun”. I enjoyed the hell out of this build and wanted to make a video about it. My goal isn’t to showcase the best builds, but rather the interesting ones. And simultaneously, I am able to do so while learning how to edit and structure videos, and maybe get good enough to do this for a living (probably not with this channel).
