BUILDING AN AUTOMATIC WITCH FARM in Minecraft Survival 1.14

Hey family what’s going on Klaus here and welcome back to Minecraft Survival where today I am very excited to announce what we’re gonna be up to well well first of all I want to mention the end endure chest situation um I was kind of treating the

Ender chest as a backpack but then after upon a little bit more research I realized that the inter chest is actually just a cloud storage so the ender chest itself the item that is sitting right here on top of the other chest is not actually containing the

Items cuz check this out I’ve got three other inner chest in my inventory but but this right here notice that I’ve got two one right here one right here that one you open up it’s got all the shorter boxes and all the other random items that I’m gonna be using today but this

One also has it and the reason why this is the fact imma just pull the gold out so you can see that it actually affects on both because it is actually just a cloud storage and I think that’s a really good modern way of describing it

Um it’s a cloud storage so if you want to like you know teleport items that’s basically the best way to do it so I’ve got one here I’ve got one I think out by my farm I may not because it’s pretty close but I do have one definitely over

By like the the end the Enders what does it called the Enderman farm the ender pearl parm whatever with the wither roses I’ve got one over by the creeper farm I got one at the iron farm which is over there I’ve just got them all over the mass generative farms that I’ve got

And then I just throw the items in there and boom they’re home I don’t have to worry about like hauling them over in my actual inventory which is freaking awesome so ender chests and and mega torches are definitely some of my favorite things in the game so guys off

Camera I actually produced some of these flight duration three fireworks and started flying around and they last a lot longer watch this boom I mean they just keep on there the gift that keeps on giving check this out I’m still flying and now and finally so yeah it’s amazing

It makes you fly like a freaking beast and so here’s my iron farm wherever here where the with the village used to be but check this out I was flying around my area just to figure out where I was and what was going on and I found this and I think

This is beautiful by the way it’s like this is the little valley that goes pretty much down my don’t run it in a ah dang it I ran into something but I’ve keep going and if you keep going keep going keep going and here is our conduit

And here are our Turtles and by the way just a heads up the turtles have multiplied we do have a couple more Turtles and I didn’t know that you could get up there you you smart little turd anyway so I’ve got um I’ve got a family

Of four Turtles now which is great but anyway um what was the point the point is I was flying around and I found something epic all right so let’s just fly on out of here oh I love these extra powerful fireworks it’s because I’ve got like limited on like the freakin

Unlimited gunpowder now which is just amazing but yeah so I was flying around and I found this thing yes it is a witch hunt and that’s one of the only farms that I haven’t made yet that’s actually super super valuable based on what I’ve heard I’ve actually

Never never made one and I did not beta test this before I’m starting to film it but we’re gonna we’re gonna build ourselves a witch Hut here today as you can see the witches home yes that’s scary stuff so I’m definitely have to kill me a witch and here’s the

Other thing again I didn’t test this I’ve never tried this out before I’ve never built a witch farm before but I did my research I know how to build it I’ve got all the items that I think I need I may be forgetting something I normally am but but here’s the best part

I don’t know what kind of loot I’m getting yet I mean I know that you can get pretty cool stuff from a from a witch but I don’t really know what you can get from a witch so I’m really excited about trying this out so anyway

There’s the witch and I’m just going to sneak up on this little lady alright let’s just continue there we go what’s up how you doing witch hi wait oh okay you you cross the line punk I thought for a second because they kept staring at me I thought for a second that um

Poison I’ve been poisoned I thought for a second that she won’t gonna kill me or he wasn’t whatever and it was gonna be all good but a pair that is not the case so now you’re dead and now I need to place down mega torch cuz yes mega torch will prevent anything

From spawning while we’re out here working so there we go that is it that cat by the way is a unique witch hut cat so it would be kind of what are you doing you’d be kind of smart I think if we were to like quickly make a waypoint

Let’s go witch hut and I’m gonna go grab some fish and I’m gonna go grab a lead real quick because this I mean do you just we just need to okay we just need to so let’s describe that let’s grab the lead and it’s a unique cat so we

Definitely need to make know or make use of it so it’s just teleport real quick there we go alright and then if we start to uh-oh I can’t I can’t drop levels if I’m crouching but you you have to crouch up to a cat otherwise they will run hi cat

Oh and I’m crouching so I can’t like surface am I gonna like sneak up on this thing because I am crouching still hi kitty hi kitty yeah we have a kitty and now it’s trying to get away from the from the from being underwater so there we go

We have now tamed a witch’s cat I think that’s a rare cat I’m not entirely sure but now let’s just you come on over here sir come on and because I’m not sure if it can swim very fast let’s just bring you over here come on

And because we do have the mega torch lit up I think it’ll be just fine if it just kind of hangs out here for a little while so come on up here onto the surface okay yeah a little further a little further I don’t want you to be

Near the water basically you’re gonna be overlooking all the work that I’m gonna be doing okay fine you know what if you want to be right there that’s fine you just sit you just oh that was not the plan I’m sorry kitty I’m sorry that was

No I punched my cat in the face all right come here come here kitty there we go there we go good kitty all right and then sit good all right so we now have a witch’s cat we have stole stolen the witch’s cat from her which is

Just great and again because we have mega torch I’m not worried about the cat dying anytime soon we will take it back to our living place very soon so here is the witch hunt and the we the what we’re gonna do again is turn this into a

Basically a witch spawner a witch farm and it’s gonna be absolutely amazing so I’m gonna go ahead and grab all this stuff out of here there we go don’t eat that and now the next step is we need to get on the roof now the way

To tell if this is gonna work is if you click f3 and then if you look at looking at we’re just gonna do at the bottom you can see that this one is at five fifty to sixty four negative 682 if that number is sixty-four and if you’re

Looking at the front porch which is what I’m doing then that means it’s on the right level and this will work if it doesn’t that means just spawn in a weird place like on a hill or something and it isn’t gonna work so let’s get on lay

Roof shall we so here is the level of our very first level did that make sense of our witch farm so here’s what we’re gonna do we are actually gonna throw down our ender chest and I should probably go ahead and expand this just a couple of blocks here cuz I’m going to

Put the inner chest like so and then I’m gonna grab the choker box that says oak planks and this is going to be our building materials now the first thing we need to do is actually build the the dirt blocks area so let’s just chop all

This back out of here dirt blocks for the spawning of the witches okay I’m just gonna cover up the flat areas of the roof for now because there are stairs on that side but basically what we’re going to be doing is making platforms and covering them with wither roses and dang it that

Was not the plan my bad my bad it good come on ooh how am I gonna how am I gonna get up there um here let me just I’m just gonna make a stair and we can get up there from the bottom we fall down okay so that’ll work

That will work so we’re gonna be placing wither roses but here’s the size okay just a size right now we are looking at 68 now witches can spawn at 69 but we’re gonna do this on 68 now I explain why later but this needs to be a 7 by 9 rectangles

This is 1 2 3 4 5 so we’re to off on that one 1 2 3 4 5 6 wait 1 2 3 4 5 6 okay that must include the top port alright so what we’re gonna do is now that we’ve covered up the flat areas of

The roof on the the sides we’re gonna add one dirt block on either side and that’s going to give us the 7 that we’re looking for and then long ways we’re also going to wrap it around on the back side and that’s gonna be one extra layer

So there we go and then we’re gonna do one extra layer on the front to cover up all that so basically what you’re doing with your dirt is you’re covering up all of the wood okay so let’s just count this that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and then 1 2 3

4 5 6 7 8 8 interesting well this will work will it will it maybe was that was that wood there ah yeah yeah yeah okay so we actually have to go one more ha ha cool so let’s just all that means it’s my my whole stair system is gonna be

Wrong okay let’s just expand this just a bit here just to make sure we can cuz I’m gonna fall off okay that’s what I do I fall off of stuff so we need to make sure that we can actually you know get back off all right so there we go boom

Boom boom boom boom boom and boom that’s this my friends is our first platform we’re gonna have 2 platforms from spawning which is it’s gonna be completely encased in stairs which you can find in the sugar in this in this oh and the end of chess that’s where all

The stairs are that’s gonna be the wall so the tops obvious gonna be slabs and again this is number 1 so now directly underneath this and I’m gonna go ahead and hop over to here now directly underneath this is actually gonna be the my carts so we need to chop out the

Entire top layer now and this will be I think the first time that I’ve built an actual like mob spawner on camera I’m normally kind of gun-shy about that because honestly they just seem way more complex then I think I’ll be wildung willing to handle but this one’s not so

Bad actually half the battle is actually just getting the counting right and then of course like the minecart system which is going to collect the the mob the loot so and actually a big part of what’s helping us is actually mega torch again if you don’t have mega torch because

You’re playing on maybe you’re playing on mobile or you know you just don’t want to do it whatever that’s fine now you got to do is go around and throw down some torches and you’ll be just fine so there we go I’m also going to take

Out the upper level here and then we’re gonna build the second dirt layer here in just a moment so let’s just count all this or take all this stuff out of here then make sure we pick up all of the wood and for some reason it’s a diamond

Axe but it sure does seem slow doesn’t it probably because I need to enchant it with something I don’t think this one’s enchanted isn’t enchanted it’s good unbreaking and mending yeah doesn’t have efficiency bad bad bad bet I’m so used to things being like immediate now that

It’s just terrible when it isn’t okay so let’s just run around the outside I pick up our loot okay drop anything we don’t know waste anything and then let’s do the counting for the next one so basically a which cut makes it to where only witches can

Spawn so this is why this is valuable finding the witch hunt pretty close to my house I got really lucky I’ve never actually explored out here but this is our seven by nine so basically what we need to do now is we need to count the space which is gonna be where let’s

Count right here okay this is where the minecart and hopper will be this is where the second is it gonna be a second layer of dirt it’s whatever the minecarts gonna be hanging out on no it’s it’s gonna be it can be whatever it can be stolen order I

Didn’t actually count for that we’re probably have to go get more stuff here in a minute and then we’re gonna need two layers of air for the witches we should probably cluck chop out this layer as well and then put in the second layer of dirt that way we know exactly

What it is that we’re dealing with here and that was not in the water and it’s slower okay there we go jeez this is exciting guys again this is the very first time that I’ve ever built a witch hut so I’m super stoked about this now that we’ve got the upper layer

Settled we’re good to go I don’t think we need to worry too much about you know losing our you know losing our vision as to what what it is we’re gonna be doing so let’s just tear this out okay fine let’s just tear this out of here

And then oh come on stop it yeah there we go ooh actually I was a lot faster under water I should oh yeah because I’ve got um aqua affinity yeah that’s awesome but okay so this bottom layer is now torn out I do have the log still

Sticking out so I’m not entirely sure I’m gonna need to take those logs out it’d be kind of cool if this farm was sitting on top of the on top of everything so actually wait missed one there we go alright so once again we’re gonna need the minecart so then we need

To whatever it’s sitting on and the two layers of air and then the dirt on the bottom layer so yes we are actually gonna have to take out that one and that one and the dirt will be right here so let me grab dang it I didn’t grab the

Rest by dirt I want to have all the dirt platforms already settled and ready to go so let’s just grab that right quick scrap bill turds yeah and it should actually be one stack per platform okay because it’s a 7 by 9 that’s 63 blocks

And a stack is 64 so let’s just do like so there we are very good now fell this may not be the most efficient way to do it let’s just smack it like this there we are and I’m basically filling in all the area that has the the these blocks here

Just to again keep my perspective cuz I you know it’s really easy I don’t know about you guys alright but for me it’s super easy to get completely lost and be like and build stuff for all crooked and and wrong so I’m just trying to be super

Careful here okay so here we are think this outer ring here will do it for the backside and the and the two sides and then we just have to do the front which I believe is an extra two layers right two layers yep that looks about right very good

Chubby’s we’re obviously gonna have to take out the stone that’s hovering above our farm but it’s gonna work out don’t worry there we go okay take this out take this out very good okay so I think let me just count this this is one two three four five six seven one two three

Four five six seven eight nine perfect so we have our two dirt platform already set up and ready to go that means the rest of the dirt can actually go back into the inner chest so I don’t have to hold on to it actually let’s grab that stone or that wood real quick

Good good so this is going perfectly loose all the measurements now it’s just mostly busy work let me place the actually I think the dirt was in the short crowbars go in place all that and then now we need to grab the oak stairs because we need to build the walls for

This thing but first I think we should get a perspective for how high we need to go obviously for the for this outside here we’re gonna need to go and I’ve actually got stairs because this is how I saw it built in the past so if we just

Kind of do something like this all the way around then nope that’s not that wasn’t what I wanted to do if we do something like this and I can at least get the the why are you upside down this is one of the reasons why I don’t like

Building with stairs because it’s really not super simple you know but alright so there we are that is this first layer and honestly it doesn’t matter how it looks I’m not gonna like sit here and stare at it or anything but for the sake

Of oh come on why are you upside down – probably should just use regular regular wood for this to be honest but I don’t know I’m already committed to doing it this way so let’s go ahead and just do it so this is one ring out of what I

Suspect will pause this thing gonna be actually I just can’t remember anymore and why is that oh that’s a shovel there we go there we go BAM alright that’s one layer so this needs to actually go several layers high alright so let’s just jump and let’s go

Okay so this is gonna be two blocks of air and then we have the top layer this top layer can actually be slabs so I’m gonna remove that layer there alright so now let’s just build now I don’t know if I want to do facing the inside like that

Let’s just do like this and then I felt geez come on why did I have to fall that time alright and that looks ugly alright well oh and now I can’t get on top again it’s okay I need to do this again oh this is the most disorganized ladder

We’ve ever had okay there we go we’re good again that looks ugly but you know it’s gonna have to work out it’s gonna have to work so let’s jump now we are and basically I’m gonna do this around the entire ring guys so I’ll be right

Back once I finish and again this is just the top layer we’ve also got to do the bottom layer and we need to make sure that we’re counting and including the area needed for the for the rail cart system that’s gonna be collecting all of our loot also while I’m thinking about it

Um this is actually all wooden stairs that were recycled from the village so it’s about time it’s good that we’re actually seeing something worth oh I don’t have to jump every time this is nice yeah so it’s kind of nice seeing this actually um you know the the parts from

The village actually being used this is great alright the entire walls of this top layer are done so what I’m gonna do now is I’m gonna grab the slabs I know I’ve got I’ve got eighteen slabs it’s not gonna be enough slabs can I okay good thing I brought a crafting table this

Would have been really annoying so let’s go ahead and slap down the crafting table and now I need some place that’s why I brought a ton of planks to and basically I’m gonna make a load of them of slabs and you know what let’s just

Make as many as we can replace this into here there we are and I don’t need these wheat seeds for sure so let’s fill that baby up and then we also don’t need this mushroom so there you go that that work cool alright so now we’ve got the slabs

And I just realized this is gonna be truly aesthetically unpleasing but you know what it is what it is it’s not a big deal alright so slabs and it’s the lower half slabs that way nothing actually spawns above this thing but it also caps it off

So that no light gets in here too so this is good this is great and I just realized something I’ve just basically once I’ve finished with this roof all of my important inventory stuff like my inner chest and everything is going to be basically trapped in here so I’m gonna

Have to make a door and and pull it all out of but or I could just leave it up there and go grab it every time and it doesn’t really didn’t really matter all that much does it alright so we’re gonna build this roof and that will be it for

Layer number one well not not yet I mean obviously we have a lot more to do but they go that is the roof and it looks like there is actually light coming in which I don’t I don’t get yeah there’s light coming in but they said that a few

Stairs light doesn’t come in so that’s really strange unless maybe that maybe my ender chest is giving off the light yes it is ok so it looks like lights coming in but actually it isn’t so it’s that’s awesome cool yep so we’re gone through that and which side I think this

Is the side that comes out to the yes to the stairs great so let’s go ahead and place okay cheese stairs are so confusing sometimes place those just like so very good and I think all this looks pretty nice all things considered slow now let’s bounce down to the bottom

Layer get rid of the numbers very good all right so the next thing we need to focus on besides the fact that that’s terrible what happened there there we go and I think I saw something else that looked bad – yeah let’s just fix this while we’re here

No gonna put some some fences around here or something to keep me from falling every two seconds shift click and take that out there boom there we go ok so the entire side is now done so it just dawned on me that it would probably

Be easier to put in all the rel real ways and stuff if I were to take out that dirt and replace it later so I’m probably gonna do that but I go ahead and I’m gonna build the walls so I’m thinking maybe I could do like this ah

Yeah I like it when I win like it when I win cool so I’m gonna finish up all the walls all the way around this thing that way we are no longer doing anything super tedious cuz honestly trying to maneuver these stupid stairs is just a

I actually need to go to layers further down I’m not entirely sure how I’m gonna do that but um well we’ll figure it out as we go also I think I’m missing a sugar box because the sugar box that was containing the things I need is gone so

I’m thinking I may have accidentally left it up here so let’s just climb this ladder and hop into the middle actually you know what I’m gonna make a waypoint up here just because I feel like it which hot farm roof there we go BAM nice all right and then let’s hop

Alright I want to put the Gunpowder down and yep that’s that’s all just gun powdery stuff this one just bones yep see I have lost a shocker box and I’m not entirely sure where it has gone and this is a terrible terrible thing terrible thing could it possibly be like floating around

Somewhere or maybe it’s in the second layer you know what it may be in the second layer let’s just let’s just dig up from once particular spot I’m gonna dig that out and then let’s dig up up up up and is it in here it is not oh and I dug

Up right underneath the mega torched hang it okay well guys this is a problem my shulker box that was containing all of my materials that I was needing including my wither roses has completely disappeared I just realized how terrible this is oh this is so bad alright well

Um yeah all my rails all of my all of my diamonds oh no oh no uh no no I’m not gonna accept that I’m not gonna accept this at all guys I have lost everything I I forced closed the game I’ll go ahead and make it fullscreen it’s gonna come back don’t

Got some gold stuff but I don’t have any more diamonds I’ve literally lost every diamond that I’ve ever had because I brought it in here so I can make some extra negatives oh this is so bad okay um yeah this is bad okay well I I guess the show must go

Gonna build all this out basically fill in the wall spot part and then we’ll go get my sponges and absorb the water out of here so let’s just oh I’m so sad right now I am so sad I had so much good stuff and I’ve lost it all and I hope

As well so this is gonna be the floor level I’m gonna fill all this in and then suck out all the water and this is gonna be where the the minecart and everything is down below everything okay so I’m gonna finish this out off-camera and I’m also gonna sit here and pray

That my uhm shulker box full of goodies shows up I’m so sad okay wait a minute now my axe is gone I am so confused where is my ex did not bring it I’m pretty sure I brought it I am so flippin confused right now guys this is just

Blowing my mind and let this be a lesson to all of you never ever to put all of your valuable stuff in one place okay don’t bring all of your diamonds to on a project just don’t do it because you’re gonna lose it and then it’s gonna make

You very very sad irreparably sad and it’s just a horrible horrible experience I can’t believe I lost all my diamonds all the wither roses that I had accumulated for this project and even my diamond axe is gone and I have no flippin clue where it went this is blowing my mind

Alright let’s grab this and then let’s swap out our sponges and you guys are about to experience something awesome you guys ready I’m gonna put a sponge right in the middle boom and this little guy absorbs so much just put one in the corner one in this corner one in this

Corner and one in that corner and there you go all of the water is gone ah love it alright so let’s go ahead and add this in oh by the way all you have to do is whenever you have a a wet sponge like this he’s gotta put it in the furnace

It’ll dry out and then you’re good to go again so pretty dang awesome all right so here’s we’re gonna do guys um now and I’m just gonna move on okay we’re just gonna have to move on if we don’t move on we’re just going to be sad for a long

Time so I’ve actually got extra planks and I don’t necessarily need them unless wait let me make an adjustment here let me go to the roof real quick and I fall in when I go so too bad waypoints okay let’s just I don’t need to be on the roof anymore do I

No there’s no point being on the roof all right let’s just cut that out of there let’s place a slab down and then I’m going to hop to the platform I’m gonna make a weight point on the platform that way I can get back to my

Stuff so man this has been it never is smooth is it it never is smooth no matter what no matter how much planning I do something always goes awry there we go there’s a wood shot right there now it’s adjusted and it’s pretty and it’s beautiful so now oh there’s my axe

There’s my axe maybe I didn’t actually bring my diamond but I’m missing a lot of stuff I mean like I had tons loads of oak planks that I was gonna use huh which means the oak planks that I was gonna bring are actually gone right now

So I actually need to go get some more except I might have enough for that bottom layer yeah I may have enough so let’s just uh now let’s go underneath I’m going to burrow my way back in alright just temporarily okay I know I’m letting the water in but it’ll go away

Now I’m going to nerd pull my way back up right yeah that’ll work and then this needs to be a white point okay so let’s do a dead –it we’re gonna do was not wizard witch witch hut farm layer one okay that’s what I want it and

Then I’m also going to nerd pull one nerd pull my way up to the second layer and do the exact same thing okay so there you go that is what we needed so that we’re all good to go so witch hut farm layer two there we go

So now I can chop out this block and now I can shop out these blocks and I don’t have to mess with all that anymore and actually I’ve probably got I don’t need that pot technically so there you go there’s that and then I guess last one

That we should probably make would be a lower level I just realized I made this little bit too big actually okay so here’s what I’m gonna do now guys let me explain so that you guys aren’t behind we collect that is actually we need a layer a solid layer

Underneath this we’re gonna need one layer that way the minecart and then everything can sit on top and then there’s the dirt so I’m gonna actually pull the dirt up again because yeah I did a little bit early but I needed to kind of do that to do the measuring so

I’m gonna rip all this out and I’m gonna set the salt layer on the bottom and then we’re gonna start doing the minecart system and then I guess I’m gonna have to go back to the end and get more wither roses I guess so annoying

This is actually very fast I did do not expect this this is awesome there we go alright so we need a solid layer I’m just gonna go ahead and do stone just to continue on or I’m sorry it’s a wood planks to continue on with the theme

Here the minecart system will be on top but I’ve actually lost a lot of resources if my minecart system is gone so let me just finish this up right quick and then I’ve got to go home and I’ve got to grab more stuff and this is actually going way faster than I was
