Thank you Welcome back today we’re doing the Grim Reaper and I went ahead and started with the whole already pre-dug these are the measurements if yours turns out a little different that’s fine it’s it can be totally random and still look awesome I just use pods all there but we’re gonna Start in the middle and stack four quartz blocks that’s just going to be the starting of the neck and here we’re just putting together part of the bottom jaw two on either side in front of that just Place three more blocks I’m using the regular quartz box Here but what I did in my original build was smooth quartz it looks better that way but uh if you’ve got smooth quartz I would suggest using that this upside down stairs on both sides and then you’re gonna add seven blocks right here And cap them with more upside down stairs and then you’ll repeat that on the other side okay now we’re gonna switch to slabs for a moment and then just cover the whole front part here it’s going to be five slabs in total now we’re going to start Framing the face so you’re gonna switch it back to regular blocks Stacks seven of them right here and then you’re gonna just repeat that on the other side but before we get to the other side we’re actually gonna stack seven more of them right here And then on the other side as well we’re gonna do both of those things the same way the reason that we do this is because the one on the front and the one on the back it gives it a more oh it’s not rounded because it’s Minecraft but It makes it look more uh 3D more more adds more depth if you’re familiar with the old skull build you’ll recognize that this is pretty much the same skull build I’ve just changed it into a Reaper and I’m just slapping some slabs right here on the side and then we’re gonna uh Finish off the top with nine more blocks then cap those ends with uh some more slabs one on either side right there and then we’re gonna move on to the top part of the face this is gonna be the part right around the eyes so on both sides You’re gonna do the same thing but we’re gonna start with stacking three quartz blocks on both sides and then we’re gonna be putting some stairs here but uh pay attention because they are going in different directions that one that I just placed was the regular block Um and then it’s going to be mirrored on the other side but I’m pretty sure you can see it well enough to know what’s uh happening all right we got more of the nose with the regular blocks and then stairs this is gonna bring out the shape Of the eyes if yours comes out a little different that is fine pretty much every skull design that I’ve seen in Minecraft has been a little bit different from one another so no worries if yours ends up turning out a little different and here we’re just uh doing the top of the eyes With more for the regular blocks and stairs and then after this we’re gonna go first person and I’ll start showing you around the back it’s gonna start getting a little finicky there we go and so we’re just filling in this is giving it more depth for the Brow so we’re just using regular blocks right here that was seven across at the top filling in those so that uh we don’t have any gaps and then continue on the sides with the stairs and uh one more Road stairs up here that’s seven in total and now we’re Gonna go back to the back and we’re gonna switch to Black concrete uh We’re Gonna Fill In the Shadows basically right around the eyes and nose pretty much that’s pretty much it but you need to do this for um I use black concrete any any dark Block You’ve Got Is fine this is just the the darkest one so I always use it for the shadows and magma because wow that just really glows I love that and uh you can put pupils on here if you want to I mean you can’t see that much of a difference really if They’re there or not but um whatever you want to do is fine I tried all sorts of different uh materials wow it looks like it’s gonna gummy to death all right this is seven slabs here that still looks like gums we gotta get some teeth in there so what I’m gonna do Is put banners in here that’s five of them that looks good we’re gonna go back around to the back and put in the obsidian portal so this is going to be seven wide and then it’s going to be a total of eight High the whole thing should be hidden behind the Blocks that you’ve already put down there if not something might be a little bit off yeah that is that’s all done let’s check it out from the front that’s looking good yep I did it right okay so while we’re on the white blocks I think that Might be it for the skull maybe there’s a few more but I’m gonna go ahead and do some of this over here I’ve got the quartz out already that’s four five six for both of them we’re going to start filling in those bits right at the front with mostly with stairs and the Regular blocks there’s a regular block on upside down stair and we’re just going to keep building off of this so we’re gonna go I’m Gonna Keep the side view going so you can see where the blocks go and it’s going to look a little strange for a while that’s Because we got to build out the hand it will end up looking like the hand and the thumbnail and now we’re going to put in some of the side we’re going to start with the handle because in just a minute his fingers are going to be wrapping around It so you’re going to be stacking these uh 15 High I only do 13 but you’re going to see me come back in and add two more in just a second because I got the count wrong but it’s 15 High using the polished black stone here but any any black block will work But now we’re going to be adding some blocks to the side of this but uh what you’re going to want to do is on that middle column there you’re going to count six up on on the sixth one is where you’re going to start placing this that should help you there’s uh five Stacked right on top of each other right there and then here’s uh where the fingers are going to start wrapping around I’m just going to start building these out and no I don’t have five fingers on this guy I put four because uh well just because You go ahead and feel free to add as many fingers as you want if you think it’s not complete but uh I chose three fingers and a thumb hopefully this first person view is going to help you see where to put everything I try to go as slow as I can And try to show everything in detail but uh there could be some issues for the rest of this build this is pretty much what it’s going to be and then the hood is going to get more difficult or more difficult to explain because there’s so many seemingly random placements and Blocks but I’ll add in the numbers of the amounts of blocks with the tall columns that’s going to be happening but for now I’m gonna step back and let me know how it goes All right [Applause] Foreign Foreign Thank you Thank you [Applause] [Applause] Foreign [Applause] All right foreign [Applause] Foreign Foreign Foreign [Applause]
