How to build Hogwarts in Minecraft – Episode 1 – Foundations

Hello everyone that strike not our welcome to a brand-new series on the channel we have not finished burning Hogwarts and if you want to watch my less bowcireating click on the car in the top right hand corner but now I know I’m doing and the type of messing around

Is now over and it’s time for the first pocket pocket Oriole of Hogwarts and so the first thing let’s do is always he create a brand new world I’m gonna call this Hogwarts tutorial and then obviously said it’s a creative and then go ahead and change it to a suit flat

World and let’s go ahead and turn generate touches off and then just create a new world and see what we get and so today the test so that we owe me to building the foundations of Hogwarts basically layouts we’ll be using and so whether further ado let’s get straight

Into it okay and now that your new superhot world we can start building the foundations and I’ve already laid out in front of me but don’t worry I’m gonna be walking through this block by block so head roughly to about y50 which is about 47 blocks above from the

Surface and we can begin with the viaduct entrance which is wildly starting tutorial on and so we’ll be using in cuts and stone and so let’s get started so the door is situated here but I should kind of build our baseline with using cut stands though and then there

Is this kind of main pillar here so let’s go ahead and add that in and then we can go ahead and fill in the rest of the East Wing and then there it is mater circle and this is the first cloud tower and just get wired towards the top but

How about let’s just pull this in and I believe this is radius five yes it’s radius 5 I simply would at it but it’s on bedrock and you can build it like this and it just goes round this says it’s gonna be five blocks along here then – boss diagonal and then five

Blocks along this side as well like so and then there is another tower along here and then there are six bolts in between so you go ahead and go one two three one two three four five six and then this tower along here it’s very different it’s at least more to this

Tower and it goes 1 2 3 4 5 1 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 and then 1 2 3 4 5 then one that should be like that and I am using these kind of smooth stone so you can kind of see each block and I

Think that works perfectly and then you can go ahead and go a blogs on here 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and then 6 bolts along here 2 3 4 5 and 6 like that and then this goes 17 blocks along this line to here

So one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and this is what’s called the Dharam section and so we’ll be carrying her and all of this and he’s kind of thick areas these represents kind of like the turrets and

So yeah but can ignore this bit for now this is kind of a little wall it’s already essential and it’s not gonna part the main castle so we can pull that later and let me go ahead 11 blocks out so 1 2

3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and then there it is 5×5 Tower just go ahead and fill this in like so and then it goes from 9 blocks along here just like that and just get wider in here that is part of the model

And then this very long social part long gallery goes for 41 blocks along here so let’s go ahead and do that 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 costume hot breath 19 20 21 22 23

24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 and then 41 and then this is where we reached the first belt house there are two bell towers along here just go ahead and add these in so flashing sort of

With a four by four square as the corner and then it kind of comes in for a bit by one balk and it goes eight blocks along here 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and then another 4 by 4 square as the tower kind

Of corner and then you can go ahead and I thought that into the rest of tiles another 8 blocks and then the other 4 by 4 square and then here this reps into the doorway and so we are just gonna go in like this so you kind of copy what I’m doing right

Here and the door is going to be in this area here inside an archway so this is gonna represent kind of how the door hire comes into the wall and so like that and then of course there is another bell tower over here so you can go ahead

And build in your 4×4 gone up and then obviously you can add in the 8 blocks along here and then your other fall before square and then you can go ahead and repeat that for the whole bell tower okay another the bell towers are not we

Can carry on with the edge of the East wing’s let’s go 17 blocks along to here so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and this is the one apart the training grounds how will we surely

Ignore that in his episode we’ll do this in a later episode just go ahead and go three blocks in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 blocks across and then come back in 1 and then it come out like this and then just adding these people and these represent

Kind of archways are in here then there is this big archway which is an entrance into the East Wing and they can go ahead and fill in this kind of odd pillar here and then there is kind of a towel that sticks out so we’re upset with this kind

Of thing out here and then there is this other tower over here and it’s very similar to the bell tower it’s how it’s a training grant our and so we go across to 3 and then there’s this door which are same price this dark oak planks we

Must ignore them leave a gap and then 1 2 3 4 5 6 and then a really long straight of 35 blocks along here so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18

19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 and then there’s this really small kind of like tart that comes out so we can go 1 2 3 1 1 2 3 1 and then 1 2 3 and then go ahead and go eight

Blocks further along 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and then as on that side there is another PI 5 tower so we can go ahead and add that at this end and then it counts 11 blocks down here 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and we

See this identicals over on that side and then there’s other kind of pillar here and then four blocks along here so 1 2 3 4 and then a 2 by 2 pillow here and let me go ahead and go with 5 blocks along here and then this is one of our

Bridges over to the West Wing how I will just go ignore that for now and I’m going to go ahead and fill this in so leave a three block gap belong here and let’s start boarding will these l-shaped should be smokes go to this

Side and then go ahead and go 1 2 3 4 and then just like on this side we’ll go ahead and build in these pillars so a 2 by 2 1 here go for pots across then is 3 by 2 on this side and then of course the

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 blocks long here and they’re just on that side we harvest hi-five area and then if you take this the 2×2 kind of square you can go across here and then it’s kind of tool in this

28 29 30 and then 31 and then her snow to that side at this side and then over there you’re gonna have a 2×2 kind of pillar thing and then obviously put on this gap here and then come along here and then we have our three by two alone

Along here and then along here you guessed it it’s another one of these five by five pillars let’s go ahead and pull this final tower and then we have the Astronomy tower so if we go ahead and pull part of our transfiguration chaotic border we can go ahead from this

File by five and add on three blocks along here and they have a three block gap and then have one two three four five blocks like so and then that brings us very very nicely for our enemy Tower and so this one is how it is 21 blocks

Across we go ahead and fill this gap a link here let me go ahead and go 21 blocks that way so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 like so and then this should be smashed

Course they should be just fired along here with a three block gap and then three along here and then this is all be symmetrical around Astronomy tower which is perfect and then let’s go ahead and build the kind of curve at the back so one two three four five six seven eight

And then you can go in born I have two blocks and a going born and one and then one and then two blocks along with this access and then three blocks here and this where the entrance is let’s give it I gotta leave a one block gap in there

And then we have one two three one two one one one one two and then go along too slide over here which is one two three four five six seven that’s debuted with a very and I strongly tower which is this shape over here and then of course the core yard in

The front of it which is looking absolutely perfect and then this brings us on very nicely to the Transfiguration courtyard which is this square over here and so if you go to your five by five area over here on the left either from each tower we go ahead and go 13 blocks

Along here so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen and that each of these represents one of the archways there are two ways how they’ve been here one of their up on there then there’s kind of an entrance or exit so we go ahead and

Leave a three row gap like so and let me go ahead and go 17 blocks along here so one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and then 18 rocks along this access here so 1 2 3 4

5 6 7 8 9 13 14 15 16 17 18 and then obviously since all full-size Eagle stands we have another three block gap along here and then another 18 blocks along this axis along here so 1 2 3 4 5

6 7 8 and 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 if you have done it correctly there should be a full block between this bell tower and then this tries to make a region called guard over here and then another 17 blocks along this axis and

Then of course another 3 curb through ba-blap and then 14 blocks all the way to this 5×5 tower over here and then our force of walk back here then that should build you the Transfiguration you whole yard which should be a basic square of this one which are will be slightly

Off-center so obviously there are the four and the three-act entrance this is one there one there and one there and obviously these two should be directly obviously each other and then then leave us with the final area at the East Wing so we can go ahead and add on this part

At entrance and obviously the vahdat entrance is public symmetrical so you go ahead and copy the dimensions on this tower and this tower along here so we’ll go ahead and go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and then 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and of course has ticked us on to arts kind of small town at the back which is 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and

Then 1 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 and then there it’s a sticks ball gap from the two towers so we go ahead and are they in which 1 2 3 4 5 6

And then a five block tower so one two three four five one two one two three four five and I can go ahead and fill in the rock band a cup on apartheid entrance which is this wall along here’s we go ahead and one two three notes

You’re by two pillar here and then one two three in another two by two pillar and then one two three and then it’s four by three pillar on surround the entrance I know while you’re at it you go ahead and add in this kind of divided kind of

Connector it says one two three four five one two one two one one two three and you leave a fire by a three-block guard for the viaduct which is this line along here and then you go 1 2 3 1 1 2 3

1 2 1 2 3 4 and that should be a nice seat symmetrical and congratulations you’ve now built the East Wing of Hogwarts I know this just the basic layout we go ahead and add – you tell em later why would I be in episodes to come

And then also done that we can go ahead and come into the West Wing so this bridge is 10 blocks diagonally so we can go ahead and 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and then 10 and then you can repeat that along this axis it kind of just tacks and

Snugly into this kind of corner here and then there is an identical tower along here you go here’s 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 2 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 2 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 2 and then

That should look like that and let’s go ahead and build out the outline of the West Wing so 43 blocks along this massive line here so let’s go ahead and build up 43 blocks down here 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13

14 15 16 17 18 19 20 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 and it’s nicely took Gryffindor Tower however first thing I want to do is obviously add on this nice firm kind of connecting bridge area and obviously this needs to be kind of indirect in

Front of this so just make sure it’s kind of just azimuth straight lines obviously if you’re finally my dimensions perfectly there should be one two three four five six seven eight nine blocks and then only 10 o’clock you have this outcome that’s kind of common three blocks which make sure this kind of

Centered around this entrance here because I was the bridge it meant to be straight and then there is all this kind of small Tower which is one two three and then one like so and it comes out other three blocks and then you have the entrance and then a three block got for

The door and then of course just repeat that on the other side which is one two three and then one now watch it through and then one and if you do build a line from this side this side it kind of line up perfectly if it doesn’t

You to adjust this so it does and then you can go ahead and fill this kind of tiny pellet along here that’s just a small feature and then Gryffindor Tower which is kind of like where how it’s all Matthias so you go ahead and go five blocks along here and

Then eleven blocks to that corner there so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven and then we have our Gryffindor Tower so if we go ahead and guys you go back so one two three four five on our fifth block we go ahead

And put a line that’s five long and they’re just at that tower over there we’ll go one two three four five and then 1 2 and then 1 2 3 4 5 like so and they’ve can go ahead and build that for the entire tower and then along this

Axis it is 62 blocks all the way to that tower over there which is North Tower Harry takes divination so yep 62 blocks it’s kind of Hondas counter makes you do it maybe just so we’ll check it twice so yeah let’s go build that longer 1 2 3 4

5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 31 52 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 60 61 62 my gosh there’s LA County please subscribe I already appreciate it and then obviously there is one of these

Towers once again which is 1 2 3 4 5 and then 1 2 however you noted this one is not perfectly centered and then you go ahead and go up 1 2 3 4 5 and they don’t want to base the same cycle be done before and they’re going to end this 5

Long side the circle we’re going to go ahead and build 24 blocks along here so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 and then this is one of the archways into the quad and

We’ll go build the court later and then you can go ahead and go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 blocks and this will take you to the grand staircase tower so you want to take your block here and then once you’ve done that you’ll go ahead and go

For blocks either side so 1 2 3 4 and they’ve 1 2 3 4 and the gap between here and here should be one two three four five six seven blocks long through this gap along here and then watching this servant block long feet you’ll go

Ahead and go in block in one block and then go 1 2 3 and then go back in 1 again and then 1 2 and then align and diagonal line of 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 four five five long diagonal and then you’ll go ahead into chi repeat it so

You do two and then three and then one two three four five six seven eight nine nine plot so fat and then this is one point one quarter of the curve a sufficient repeat that in all four sides and so you go three two one one one one

One two three one two three four five six seven eight nine and then go back in 1 1 2 3 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and then 1 2 3 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 1

2 and then 1 2 3 then that if you’ve done that well perfectly it’s all line up and that will be your ground it’s there it’s our to where the all the rotating staircases are and then if we head back to a watch tower which is this

Tower over here we can go ahead and go 12 blocks along this axis which kind of perfectly in the middle of here so we go ahead and go 12 blocks so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 and then that takes us to

This main archway which kind of a common feature and obviously this takes us into the quad as well so let’s go ahead and build the quad this goes in 12 blocks along here so 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 the main quad comes out along this

Line over here like around this edge and then there is kind of balcony along here so if we go out we can go ahead and go out 1 2 3 4 5 blocks and then we go to 35 blocks belong here 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 22 23 24 25 they say 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 and their long they said you should be going 36 blocks let’s go ahead and do that so

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 and then 16 blocks along this edge so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

11 12 13 14 15 16 and then you go ahead and build a straight line which should connect up with his arch way along here and that should fit along like that and then if you go to this other side of the archway which you’ve already built along

The grand staircase tower you can go ahead and build the slide outs to come meet with this line like so and then you go ahead and go one two three four five and then one and then you have 10 blocks diagonal line so one two three four five

Six seven eight nine ten and then eight blocks along this length so one two three four five six seven eight I shouldn’t alright it should line up I’ve cleat with this kind of outer edge of the archway and then you go ahead and build a straight line along here to come

In polite with that edge there I don’t know that all correctly there should be a 10-block gap in between these two sides of the archway and then once you’re here you go ahead and build a straight line all the way to the Grand Staircase tower just like that and then

And then there is kind of out of walk weights we can go ahead and build that so from this air it we go one block out from this archway and then we can go ahead and go 11 blocks forward so one two three four five six or seven eight

Nine 10 11 and then 29 blocks in a straight line 28 29 and then twelve blocks in a diagonal let’s take this to the viaduct courtyard and then this was throw nicer to the viaduct courtyard so you got a hand go at 12 blocks diagonal

Line along here so 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and then obviously 12 all right here and then it go 29 blocks in and diagonal line along there like so so

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 if you want 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 and then to end of the video we’ll go ahead and add our viaduct but our viaduct and so there is a circle along here so we’ll go ahead and go from

This corner we’ll go 1 2 3 kind of three and a half blocks and you place a block in this corner here and then go outside until 1 and then go 1 2 3 4 5 and you guessed it another 2 and then another 5 along here another 2 and then five

Blocks belong here and that of course does put in that one and that is like that and I was eager to kind of leave these blocks here and then you can go ahead and connect the two together and obviously if do this perfectly as you

Would do exactly how my pals do it but if it’s not just have to kind of figure out your own straight line from here to there it’s pretty simple and so you’ll go 1 2 3
