Hey guys what is up the neocubist here welcome to episode 19. i have drank a lot of coffee today and i am ready to get started yeah episode 19 of my 1.17 survival let’s play so i’ve converted this bad boy to be a sandstone smelter and you may be asking yourself neo why

You need sandstone where does the sandstone even go where is the sandstone even going oh there’s only one here wait what how is only one sandstone smelted this whole where is the sandstone going wait what uh dude the sandstone has disappeared wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait whoa whoa whoa

Hold on why is the sandstone disappearing am i am i crazy does it say the sandstone just disappeared where did it go what dude i am so confused right now the sandstone is literally disappearing anyways we’re going to be converting this to a sandstone smelter you’re

Probably neo why do you need so much sandstone man and i’m gonna explain to you something now i’m gonna i’m gonna i’m gonna give an explanation is this still disappearing dude i’m so confused so this this this is this is a mystery where’d all the coal oh the coal went in

There and then this is where you put like you know the raw sandstone you know that’s in like the hopper right and then it’s it’s just disappearing look it just comes out and it just disappears Where on earth is it going there’s nothing around it there’s no there’s nothing i mean like how does that even okay well that’s not how i plan the episode to start but that is an interesting thing i’ve never seen the sandstone disappear so i guess we’ll just remove this row then

Long i mean that’s all the sandstone that we had almost three stacks and we got like you know half of a first rung of the thing i don’t even know what to call i’m gonna call it a wrong well i think that’s wrong i don’t know okay so we have to decide

Is the entrance uh to it gonna be on the corner or on like the front and i’m gonna i’m just gonna assume the front okay well we’ll find the center at some point um but actually we should probably find the center now but we need to build a nice

Opulent bridge over to the pyramid okay this is my sandstone storage area we don’t really have much sand or sandstone left we ended up using most of it so what i’m going to do is make a like not a pyramid you guys know what i’m trying to say a nice bridge right

Here uh but we just have to find a way to connect it to our main base path okay and now it’s a little bit of an issue you know because we have this nice oasis area but i really don’t know you know where the path is going to go maybe like over

Here and then it comes around over here but maybe we can go under the aquifer right here and maybe make the path kind of come out over here i don’t know either way we’re gonna need more smooth sandstone to make this path uh we’re gonna need a lot of

Copper so we got a lot of prep work to do also guys there is a cipher here that i assume is left by chieftain glush ill i don’t know how i don’t know how to deal with this okay so if someone could pause it here and figure this cypher out

I’d be very appreciative i thought maybe it’s the 13th letter or something like that but or maybe you count to 13 and then you take the letter i don’t know so if someone wants to try to figure this out only word i’d see in here is gung and i

Get to work on the path okay so i’m just grabbing everything i think i’ll need i know for the paths i need lanterns and all that fun stuff and i thought i had a lot more copper than i did apparently i was uh overestimating my copper supplies so we

May have to go mine for some copper but you know that’s pretty fun we have you know efficiency and all that fun stuff so it makes it really quick anyways i may not show too much of that but we do need to mine copper for sure at some

Point because yeah we really don’t have as much as i thought um we need to go and mine some trees as well i just don’t remember like i feel like i had a lot of copper you know but i mean obviously i don’t have a lot of copper um and then

We need a lot of acacia fence and then we need to go grab some slabs but those are smelting right now but yeah if someone could please help me out with that uh that cipher i would appreciate it because i’ve tried to figure it out i cannot figure it out and we still

Haven’t made this path even look like the other paths so maybe we’ll do that we just need to do a little tlc at the base okay before we get our mega pyramid done we should probably get our little house in order before then because that’s gonna be a lot of work

Like don’t get me wrong i’m really excited for it i mean these things probably should drain somewhere because otherwise they’re just going to like burn out real quick and i don’t want that um i don’t think we’re going to need all of these now we have a crafting table over here

We’ve got to have a crafting table up here i know we do okay good i was going to say there is no possible way i don’t have a crafting table i doubt we need that many so we’ll just make a little bit more and we’ll call it good

Um okay what was i gonna do yes get some acacia wood which is uh a little bit hectic over here so let me gather some wood i’ll come back in a bit um i may gather a few leaves as well so i’ll just kind of

Do that too so i’ll see you in a bit all right well i’ve got enough leaves i got enough acacia wood i would assume i’m just kind of planting back some saplings honestly every time i do this i have never like run out of saplings so i

Don’t probably don’t need to sit there as long as i used to and just wait for every little sapling to drop now i do know i’m going to need just absolute ton of fence and i mean a ton so we’re going to see how much this can be wow that’s not right

Should be smelted by now so let’s go and check that out all right so it’s not all done but there’s enough of it done that we can go ahead and start this um now they’re they really are gonna have to go and get what is it a lightning rod i’ve not touched lightning

Rods yet wow that’s that’s not even close to enough copper but we can no hold on here i swear we have more copper in here like i i swear we have more copper in here we have to have more copper we really don’t okay well we are going to have to go

Copper mine because i mean obviously this is not even close to enough um we really do have to figure out where this how this path is going to work i may end up destroying part of this wheat farm because we really don’t need it and it seems like more often than not i’m

Just destroying it you know obviously not on purpose but it seems like i end up destroying it more often than not and this was a cave i remember a long time ago there was a cave down in there but like obviously we haven’t used it in

Quite a while so i don’t know why it’s still there but yes this is where the path is gonna lead up to um obviously i don’t think we need to break this much sand uh just just to give you an idea of what i’m gonna be doing um i mean i may

Do some of it on camera but like i mean a lot of it’s just gonna be a lot of sandstone slab placement sand placement and really not that much fun um but stuff that is necessary for our for our future for our future endeavors to have this

Pyramid we are going to need a proper path and a lot of this stuff i work on off camera as well because a lot of it is just it’s just like really boring um at least for me maybe some of you like watching it because it’s exciting for

You and that’s okay but for me i like i like mining i guess i don’t know i like a lot of stuff but i don’t know placing sand slabs down not my no my fun not my idea of fun okay let me work with this and i will be right back in a

Second all right so i have the copper um i kind of figured this out we’re just gonna have like a nice little path like this you just kind of walk over here um Now we’re just gonna make a rough outline of where the path is gonna be and obviously once we get more copper we will come back and like actually formally pathiffy this but for right now see why do i why do i do that i need my shovel i don’t need the axe necessarily

We’re gonna have to terraform this just a little bit there’s really not that much uh to to change necessarily but like the path i’d like to be able to you know walk up anywhere over here and then we’ll just kind of cut through this make it a little bit wider

We don’t have to completely remove that mass of sand something like this and then we’ll build a nice bridge we’re actually going to do a diagonal bridge because i’m like i don’t want to build a bridge to build a million bridges i have not built very many diagonal bridges you

See we’re going to we’re going to make it diagonal and that’ll be kind of fun um but yeah i don’t know i i think the path going up here one is fine and then we can have the bridge connect to like right here and we’ll figure out the diagonal bridge

In a bit but we need to go mine i mean we don’t have enough copper and honestly to do this project we’re gonna need a lot more copper so i’m gonna make a little temporary build chest area just with some just a few slabs you guys

Know how you guys know how it goes a little barrel like this just so that we have a little area um with the stuff that we’re gonna need for this build specifically because i don’t want to carry around all this stuff in my inventory i’d rather just put it up into a chest

That way i can come back here in a little bit and we can get working on that okay so where to copper mine i really don’t know i’m not going to go down in my mind well maybe we’ll go down on our mind i actually have something to

Show you guys i discovered so let’s go under mine real quick um it’s kind of a kind of an interesting thing not something that that happens very often or naturally i think we were sabotaged inside of our mind oh and i also went here and i threw down as much of bone

Meal on these glowberries as i could that way you know everything looks nice and glowy and i think it looks pretty cool but yes we have experienced a collapse you heard that right someone has come down here and collapsed our mind our beautiful beautiful beautiful location mind someone collapsed it who would do

Such a thing i think blush ill did it if you asked my opinion but yes our mind was collapsed we do have a lot of coal ore here it appears and some iron but it looks like we were collapsed and i’m you know i’m not super happy about that although

To be fair we did build the tunnel i guess right above a cave um that i did not know so let’s go explore this cave and see if there’s anything in here um i doubt there’s anything and if there was it was probably taken by mr glush

I’m sure he wouldn’t leave anything for us but if there is some copper in here i would be very appreciated are very appreciative this looks like a huge vein of iron like a non-normal vein of iron but no i guess it wasn’t maybe it was i don’t know this this this looks like

Someone came down here and put this here but there’s no way we’re just gonna be rewarded so i’m gonna assume that there’s some sort of trap in here but we’ll find out together is there a trap okay not not thus far that looks really suspicious it’s not

Okay so there is no traps in here let me check the other path maybe this path was a it was a decoy path and there’s actually a trap well there is copper we do need the copper that’s what we’re going to come down here for

Now i do hear more caves i don’t think this is any part of it anymore i do hear caves over here now i’m worried that they’re connected to that ravine that’s over there and if they are i want to have nothing to do with them because i don’t think copper

Is this high up in the world and that’s not what this episode was about we’re not supposed to be getting a bunch of copper we do need the call and i think this is right next to the cave i mean you guys can hear all the monsters all the creepy crawlies

This almost sounds like it could be a zombie spawner and i i wouldn’t be opposed to it like we already have a spawner right now so we don’t really need one but dude this is a giant coal pocket this is absolutely massive how much was that oh my gosh i don’t

Even know how much it was but it was a lot okay i’m gonna regret finding this cave aren’t i there’s where are you above me no are they below me no where are you okay well we need the copper again i’ll always take copper when i’m on my search

For copper and you get it so quick we almost have a stack we’ve only found two veins okay well let me search around for this let me search around for this cave because obviously i’m not going to find it on my own this is taking forever where is it

I feel like it’s just right here dude what where the heck okay here it is okay okay we do have an upgraded sword from last episode you guys remember we got smite or what was it bane of arthropods like six times but now we have a breaking three sharpest three knockback

Two and fire aspect too so i don’t know if that ticks for more fire damage or ticks for longer wow that’s a lot of creepers okay then we also have uh really good armor now as you can see so we don’t really have to worry about

It you can go back there and pause it if you’re curious but we don’t really have to worry about taking damage anymore full protection five uh protection for my bad i remember saying protection five and one of my other let’s plays people like neo there’s no such thing as

Protection five it’s protection four get it right and i am actually completely out of iron because of all the hoppers i made for my uh pigment farm um just to sort out not even sort out the materials but just gather all the you know drops because it wasn’t working

The way i had it set up before so let me go here just get some basic materials i’ll just get a bunch of copper if i find anything really cool i’ll show you but other than that i mean i’m is my mine over here yeah see i knew my

Mind was it was this was all connected um oh man hey there’s a glow squid hey buddy how you doing yeah i’m just gonna look for copper if i find it i’ll let you know if i don’t that’s okay i’m not gonna like show me mining copper

Anymore it’s just it’s too common so give me a bit i’m just gonna look around Nice all right guys i’m back for my mining expedition all of these have a stack of copper in them and i still have not finished adding copper so i went mining for quite a bit i decided it’s not really worth it to film just getting copper i would rather film the more

Exciting part creating the path the path to the greatest base in the history of my channel um because yeah i’ve never built anything like this before um i don’t know did i take the copper out of these yeah i guess it did uh but yeah we ran out of that pickaxe that

Pickaxe is now gone um the iron one that had the fortune three it’s uh well how you say used up there’s no more of it so it broke so we can make another one of course i mean we have so much stuff to ensure with oh we have another stack right there

Okay this is 19 more copper blocks so copper blocks are very expensive to craft as i’ve uh discovered um i had like maybe nine or ten stacks of copper we did get a bunch of extra coal too but a lot of it went into the chest but at least now we can probably

Finish this path going over there at least for the most part so we’ll just kind of fill it in you guys know how i’ve been doing my paths um and just make it look nice and copperous as they say copper activity is high okay and then we’ll do maybe another one right there

Just because i mean this is like the grand path guys i mean this is the end-all be-all of paths we won’t need to go over here very much anymore it’s going to be kind of sad you know because we are going to have like so much stuff

We’re actually going to be able to have proper oh we’re going to actually be able to have a proper storage house which is going to be nice and maybe asking me asking yourself why are you breaking this by hand i don’t know i feel like it makes me

Think about the placement more when i have to actually like you know like wait to place it i guess i don’t know but yeah it makes the placement a little bit better uh i don’t think oh yeah we still had some copper blocks left yeah so somewhere to over here okay now

We have a lot of acacia wood but building a diagonal bridge is i think going to be a little bit harder than i anticipated which is fine like i’m up for the challenge you guys know me i’m i’m fine with a little bit of challenge

But i don’t know how to is the problem i’ll figure it out but i like legitimately i have no idea how this is going to work so we’re probably going to use oh we’re probably going to use sandstone of course probably going to need some acacia logs as well

We just got to figure out where it’s going to be and how wide it’s going to um but i’m thinking like right here okay so we’ll just start like this yeah so maybe like that wide and then and then what you just go over here and you just do the same thing

But like how wide do you make it you have to like cut it off diagonally i don’t know it’s going to be a kind of an interesting path that’s for sure it’s going to lead it’s somewhere over to the center it’s okay maybe we can have the path curve a

Little bit but this may take a lot more sandstone than i anticipated which is okay but it is gonna be a trickier sort of build um i’m trying to figure out like how do we make the edges of this work like that yeah i guess then we just build a bunch of these

So we just have to break that and then build this and this just sticks one over and then we just kind of keep going like this okay so maybe i won’t film too much of this because that’s gonna be extremely boring um at least i have the pattern down though

Um you know that’s always a good thing so this needs to stick off one diagonal and then we just kind of connect it okay so that’s gonna be interesting to do i’m gonna have to go and gather more sandstone from my sandstone smeltery but at least we’ll have our very first diagonal bridge

That’s going to be kind of fun i just need to go over here now once we start going down with the bridge that’s where i’m going to be a little bit confused i don’t really know how to do that but yeah we’ll figure it out i’m going to gather my sandstone build a

Little bit more of it and when i have a better idea of what i’m doing i’ll come back and show you what i’m doing all right well i have a better idea of where i’m going with this so let’s go ahead and walk the path i’ve made most

Of the path i figured i’d finish it on camera obviously we’re going to have to like you know finish this but i’ve made it diagonal all the way to here i would not recommend doing this it’s very difficult to keep everything nice and diagonal um but yes we ended up somewhere in the

I assume the middle is like you know somewhere in here i could figure it out in a bit but it’s going to be somewhere around here you know obviously it’s the middle of the pyramid um but this path is gonna have to come back down so we’re gonna have to just make it

Go down and it’s honestly not that difficult to go down the more difficult part was going up you know you have to break a bunch of slabs every time but once you get down to it it’s really not that bad i guess it’s just kind of

Tedious i guess would be the word yeah tedious for sure just because you have to break all these blocks but we’ll bring it down back to earth literally and then you know i did make it go too far up but i decided i’m probably not going to want to like you

Know destroy the whole thing because it went too far up so that that would have been just kind of like a stupid idea just destroying the entire thing because it went too far up that would have just taken way too long but now we have it down so now we can

Walk this path now obviously this path is not done okay i mean obviously it’s not just going to look like this i like having a diagonal path it’s interesting but it wasn’t worth it let’s just put it that way it wasn’t worth it okay all right so what we’re

Gonna have to do now is add some supports we’re gonna have to add some fence i mean obviously we’re gonna have to add a bunch of stuff let’s go back to the house let’s collect all of our copper because they assume we have quite

A bit so let me cut to that all right now all the copper’s done it’s been a while so i would expect it to be done so let’s grab all that we have and let’s see if we actually have enough now to make our path over to the pyramid

Uh now again i don’t know exactly where the center is so i’m not gonna like oh wow 57 copper blocks i will take it i will take it that was worth it okay and then that’s everything there we go we have over a stack of copper blocks

Now i never thought in my possession i would have over a stack of copper blocks but i do and i’m pretty excited about it see because i just wish i could fall down in that little oasis here but like i don’t want to remove the wheat entirely you know because it’s like

Otherwise why would this you know a little aquifer run there or aqueduct run there i think we need more copper right here there’s some places i just feel you know i can feel the lack of copper and i know it needs more like over here this path it kind of

Molds over in this direction so let’s add a little bit more like right there um and then maybe put one connected right there okay and then obviously we have this path go over here um oh yeah sure we’ll have a three okay so we go over to here we’re gonna need some

Like you know i haven’t done anything under it so you know obviously we’re not gonna leave it like that because that looks a little uh you know so let’s find the center man this is gonna be this can be a little bit more difficult than i had uh

Than i had a bargain for okay we’re gonna find the center we’re gonna build this up as a temporary little support okay i thought it was becoming dark but in reality it’s just dark under here um so this is kind of the center so we’ll find like a center point right here

Um and then is this at the right height can i get these touching i can’t even see i don’t think that is touching no so we have to build a slab which is fine let’s go ahead and yeah we’ll just take out the bow i don’t think we’re gonna

Have to fight anything right now at least i don’t think so and we’re gonna have to build this bad boy down now we’re gonna build a couple more of these so this is just what i’m gonna be doing for a little bit it’s gonna take a while

Obviously i want to add like more you know supports and stuff to this thing but i don’t want to have like too many but i’m gonna have to add enough to where it looks it’s properly supported because this is a big old bridge right and so i can’t just have them all willy-nilly

Coming around okay so the other ones i don’t have to have this path for okay so how far apart are those they’re like yay apart i mean you can’t really see i can’t really see exactly how far apart they are um but i can kind of figure it out just

Based on how it looks okay then we’ll do one more a little bit further over something like right there and that’s in the center okay we bring all these down okay let me break all this and then build these down and i’ll come back okay so this is the last one that i

Built for now that comes down and this is obviously gonna you know give some support to our actual uh our actual you know path now we’ve got to do a bunch more and i don’t know if we have enough logs we’re already running out so

We’ll have to go farm some more logs uh so now we just have to do the same thing but over here now i’m gonna just place like the the stem of it you know like like where it’s gonna be oh no oh no okay we’ll just make a staircase so before i

Even do this you know i’m just going to go get a bunch more acacia wood hopefully those saplings have grown i don’t know if i was underground near them or not yeah it looks like there’s a few over there actually some of them some of the leaves over there you can see you’re

Still decaying so they weren’t loaded in so just give me a bit i’m gonna get a bunch of acacia wood and then i’ll come back and uh we’ll finish out the bridge strong all right well i’ve just been gathering immense amounts of wood trees have been growing and i’ve just been kind of

Sitting here i have almost three stacks as you can see my acacia fields are beautiful and delicious i have a luscious field of acacia trees now we get to work on this path once more not this path you guys know what i mean now this path

I have not added enough copper to this so maybe at some point we’ll come back here and add more copper i know i’m adding some right now but like this was where we said we were going to build a path and then we never actually built it

I don’t know why sometimes i just start things and i don’t finish them this also bothers me like like don’t don’t don’t think otherwise it does bother me i’m sure eventually we’ll finish it that’s what i keep saying i’m sure eventually we’ll finish it i thought i

Heard that the cries of something but it was just cows just moving they’re very happy they have irrigation they have water and they have a roomba that cleans up their uh poop and stuff like that so it’s a pretty it’s pretty nice setup they’ve got i don’t know is that the

Bottom of a block no we’re going to put a little slab above it and that’s too big of a space isn’t it yeah we’re gonna need a we’re gonna need a little we need a little something right there so we’ll build up another little path here break this up okay

Yeah it probably needs to be like right here okay now it’s this the right yeah okay so i try to get these as close to the ground as i can i’ll just break this um off camera because i’m not gonna well okay i already broke most of it might as

Well break it okay then we’ll go over here probably need another support right there and these we don’t even need um um what is it called why can’t i use my words today and then we’ll put like a support right there just for redundancy sake and then these

Will come of course all the way down you guys know how i do my supports proper in the water if you’re ever gonna build a bridge don’t just like do this and like you know what i mean like just leave it right there because

You may not see it all the time but when you do see it your brain is gonna be like that’s a great value bridge or something like that you know what i mean like don’t don’t not use enough logs even though this is like a total waste of wood but

Not real i mean not really right like i can just grow more it’s literally a waste okay so we have all the supports going that way and then what i’m gonna do is like put some fence or something i actually don’t have an exact plan for how those are gonna work

Because usually i use fence but now i realize since this is diagonal it’s not exactly gonna be the story here but does look good so far it does look good um we need probably one more support over here so and this is in the center so we’ll put that right there

Okay and then we can do sure we can put one more in there even all right so now that looks like the bridge is properly supported now we just have to actually make it look good so the outside is a little uh is this the right yeah this isn’t the

Right path okay it looks a little shabby just a little shabby so we’re gonna do is go over here we’re gonna put some fence all the way along it now on the sides this will be a little bit tricky you know because we are on slabs so i’m

Going to do the top portion right here oh my gosh this is so big why is this thing so big dude oh my gosh it’s so it’s it’s so wide it really is long it’s oh geez it is going to take a while to finish this if we’re going to need a lot

More wood than we have now but luckily we have a big acacia tree field so we’re okay there we go i’m sorry if you could hear shadow snore he is sitting here he always sits behind me when i record it’s like in the apartment when i had

The apartment the cats always sat behind me when i recorded and i never really understood why okay so i mean that looks okay but it’s like it’s just like fence you know what i mean like it needs some more pizzazz or something so i think what

I’ll do is add a little bit of you know depth because if you just have your supports you know just straight out if i had a little bit of depth you know what i mean you know i mean yeah just just a little bit so let me do

That it’s gonna take a little bit i’ll kind of texture the bridge a little bit make it look good and i’ll add these little sporty thingies i really don’t even know what i’d call them but they they definitely add a little bit to it and i don’t know we’ll go i’ll go around

And see what i can add and we’ll end up with something pretty good i hope oh and of course it’s raining all right i’ll see you in a bit and there we go we have a bridge so you might be asking yourself neo what the

Heck and i think it looks pretty good so basically we added all the fence we i added all the fence i had all these lanterns we used almost these like 40 lanterns in total um and i added a bunch of like little supports and some slabs

This is one of the harder builds i’ve done in survival and it just took it took me like 45 minutes almost an hour just because of how like he eat do i have any slap how many slabs left you know how slabs are you know how

Slabs are this part was kind of fun it was kind of like almost uh what’s the word for word for it uh what’s the word geez i can’t think of it relaxing almost zen for me and i want this one i want this one to come down a little bit more

Um it was almost kind of zen for me so i’m happy we almost used all the leaves but i used a bunch of glow berries and i don’t know i think that looks pretty good maybe once they hang down all like super low maybe it’ll look kind of odd
