Hi, I’m Max! and today I’m gonna show you how to build a rustic survival house now before we started be sure to like and subscribe and follow me on patreon to support the channel and get access to the world download link will be in the description let’s build! I recommend you build this in a plains biome find a decent flat area and clear out some grasses we will start with the house layout using oak log leave a gap for five blocks here is the layout from a better view we’ll add a little section to the side like that Now we will raise all the layout to four blocks from the ground * IT IS ACTUALLY FOUR BLOCKS HIGH * sorry and connect the floor framing on the main layout and connect a smaller section to the main one we have a rough frame We’ll add an enclose porch to both the front and the back the frame will be one block lower next the roof frame make a tall A frame shape with a deepslate bricks and a smaller one on this side of the house and the back will be the same shape as the front Now we finish with a small curve shape in this side we’ll close off the roof with spruce planks the curve roof on this side will require a bit of adjustment have two planks here and have three foward here on this layer another three forward and finish the top Have a column here up to the top the same on the back now we will place down the wall layout with a stone this will be the front door and place the wall following the layout with white wool I’ll leave that for a window over here we’ll do the roof for the porch The same block palette as the main roof close off a small hole here and the same porch roof on the front now we’ll change the top block of the roof trim stairs do the same on the spruce part make sure that there are no gap on this side when you replace them Fill in the gap with planks if you found one and then replace the rest of the roof we’ll place down the windows with glass pane and some temporary light in the interior and placing the door we’ll add an upside down stairs to the roof trim to improve the shape Now we can start detailing the house we’ll start at the front with these barrels a hanging sign above the door and a wall trim using deepslate walls and spruce fence add an extra oak log here and a support now we need some space for a lantern hanger Maybe move up one more block some trapdoors on the porch roof now to the side I’ll add a spruce sign on the house column close this corner with a trapdoor and a wall trim and let’s place a small planter right here a colunn base two more planter on the side face And a wall trim in the middle some button on the columns we’ll have a campfire for a small shade and an extra log let’s punch in a small window right here now detailing the back will be the same design language as the front Now to this side face we’ll have wall trim on the side column here one planeter in the middle a button on the wall and the same shade as the other side and to detailing the roof we’ll start by changing the trim with various deepslate stairs I forgot to place an upside down stairs here let’s have a two deepslate stripe run over the roof change it up with deepslate variation as well now we want the roof to look old and rustic we’ll randomly replace some part with stairs and planks put a flowers in all the planters And maybe add some foliage on the roof and some trapdoor close to the trim here right I think we can start working on the interior now we’ll add a textures to the wall by changing some wool to diorite and change some of the stone layer to cobblestone Now it’s time to replace the floor use a stripped oak log and place them down along the width of the house now we do a second floor I’ll just use an oak log I’ll have it a half floor like this I’ll close off all the block gap just a bit And we’ll finish the second floor with spruce slab alright we are ready to place down the furnitures we’ll start with the kitchen I’ll have a blast in the floor to save some space having a small wall shelf let’s light up the candle and I’ll have a few decorated pot here in this corner And a campfire as a wood supply and now the reading and workspace area I’ll have a table and a bookshelves on this side and to the left we’ll be a small cabinet and shelf for some storages on the right we’ll have most of the work tools here Now in that space we’ll have a main storage area we can start placing down barrels and chests and in this wall here we’ll make a large cabinet decorate it with some painting and flower pots and let’s place an armor stand here in the center here we’ll have an anvil as a table And placing down some carpet and don’t forget a chair for the reading table right, now let’s go upstairs I’ll replace most of the block with a stairs oh maybe save this space for storage now I’ll do the wall trim for a bit and for the railing we’ll use an oak trapdoors Here on the second floor we’ll be the bedroom we’ll place the bed and some nightstand and we’ll also have bed canopy some more cabinet to the side a bookshelf and some decoration let’s light it up in here we’ll hang the canopy to the ceiling and i’ll have a small truss on there And as well as some more storages adding some carpet now let’s put a book on their shelves okay the interior is fully furnished now let’s do some final touches in the outside we’ll replant the grasses around the house and maybe do a wheat farm near the side adding a seeds And roughly make a stone wall around the farm we’ll cover the water with trapdoors and make step adding some light with torches and maybe make other farms on the other side with similar design also a walking path adding some lamp post as well as all the stuffs a composters, barrels and campfire Hanging a lamps on the roof and maybe add a bit of stuff on the back let’s change it one lantern design and add pot we’re all done thank you all so much for watching if you enjoy this be sure to like and subscribe and if you are interested in getting this build You can follow me on patreon and support
