Hello everyone this is mumbo and welcome back to another redstone video and in this one we are going to take a look at something really quite awesome as you can see in front of us we’ve got a large number of beacons and they also happen to be quite a large number of different Colors these are known as the party beacons and we’re using redstone to create some kind of crazy light display that i personally think looks really quite good now i’m sure pretty much all of you have a rough idea of what’s going to happen here but for those who don’t We’ve got a bunch of pistons we’ve got a small amount of redstone here there’s not too much going on and we have all of this stained glass right here now if you give this lever a flick you can see that all of that stained glass is now going To start moving around in a circle formation so this is known as a piston feed tape as you can see it’s sort of cycling around like this and that is pushing all of the stained glass above the top of the beacons making them all change color now i personally think this Looks really quite cool especially spread out over this many beacons it creates an awesome looking light display which would look pretty epic inside any other bases you’re just going to have to have quite a lot of resources to create that many beacons now of course this machine is probably going to generate a Decent quantity of lag we’ve got a redstone clock running and we have quite a lot of piston action as well as quite a lot of lighting updates and things so if you want to turn it off all you have to do is flick this lever right here and As you can see it switches off immediately there really is no delay there you flick the lever and it turns off and then of course if you want to turn it back on again you just flip the lever once again and it turns back on it really is that simple it’s a nice Toggleable design that i’ve got so i’m going to give you the details of this build in a bit of a nutshell as you can see first off it is a toggleable design it’s relatively compact this is all of the redstone wiring it’s fully expandable so you can expand these Redstone lines out putting in as many beacons as you want it uses stained glass to change the color of the beacons and of course it uses a heck ton of beacons okay seriously you’re going to have to kill a lot of withers to build this thing but i personally think it’s Well worth it because as i say i think it looks pretty awesome now of course there will be a world download down in the description if you do want to check this one out chuck it into your minecraft world saves folder and have a Little bit of fun with it but if you do want to build it for yourselves let’s crack on with that tutorial now to get things started with this one you want an 11 block wide area and i’m just going to be showing you how to build the circuit For this first part because of course this is expandable once you’ve done the circuit you just extend out the redstone lines so first things first you want to go a couple blocks up like this and you want to create your platform now this is going to be a five long beacon design so You guys have five beacons in a row just like this so we want to create this platform like this and then place in our five beacons going across the center right there now it’s time to start chucking in our pistons the first one that you want to place in is this one Down at the bottom here that’s facing upwards then you want to place a couple temporary blocks up like this with a piston facing across like that that’s four temporary blocks going up like that so that it pushes the blocks along the top of the beacons just like this then You want to place a couple blocks like this and a piston facing downwards once again those blocks there are temporary so you can remove all of those and that’s going to be pushing the blocks downwards like that and then finally you just want a piston going across like That which is going to be cycling our blocks around in this sort of circle formation here now to start hooking all of this stuff up so first off you just want to place a block down like this this is going to be your input so i’d suggest chucking down a lever giving That one a flick but also you want to place down a hopper and a hopper running into that one to create this little hopper clock right here now place any old item inside that hopper there take a comparator output from that hopper that’s going to be running out into a Sticky piston with a block on top to create a monostable circuit then you want to place a repeater that’s going to be going out into a block with redstone dust on the top but we’re going to be ignoring that for the next couple seconds because first off you just want To place two pieces of redstone there and then a repeater out like this that’s going to be running out into this block right here we’re then going to place a block down at the bottom with redstone dust on top of that one and then another repeater down at the bottom here with Blocks going right the way across like this all the way to the end with a block up like that redstone dust on top of all of these and that’s going to be running into this repeater which goes into this block so now to hook up all of our Pistons first off you just want to place a blocks down at the bottom here with redstone dust on top of both of those that will hook up that piston then you want to head over to this corner right here place down a block with redstone Dust on top of that one that will hook up that piston now it’s time to hook up these top sets of pistons so first off we just want to place a couple blocks in like this with redstone dust there a repeater right there and redstone dust right there then when your beacons start You want to start using either hoppers or glowstone so i’m going to be using hoppers here and then you want to place redstone dust on top of all of those just like that and then for this one all you have to do is place a block up like This a repeater set to two ticks running out that one then a block right here another repeater and that’s going to be running up into this block right here with redstone dust on top of those and these lines can be extended out to attach to all of your pistons so now It’s time to start placing in all of the blocks for your color wheel now i’m not going to be using various different colors for this one because it’s just a demonstration but of course you can do something like what i’ve done over here with all the different colors of the Rainbow or you can have specific colors that you want to cycle around whatever you’re really fancy but i’m just going to be using white stained glass here now what you want to do is you want to skip this block then fill in this area here Like a bit of an l and then you want to skip this block and fill in this area right the way up to the end of right here and that is it so you skip that blog there and that blog right there and that’s everything completed so if you Flick this lever right here as you can see all of our blocks cycle round everything is working wonderfully and the good news is is that these redstone lines right here they can be extended out like this taking out all of this redstone here and this one can be Extended as well taking out all of those blocks and this one over here can be extended as well and then you can add in all your pistons and add in all the colors and you’ve basically got yourself a large block of various different colored beacons that i think looks Really quite good but unfortunately that is all i’ve got time for today i hope you enjoyed this video if you did please hit that like button and if you really loved it then make sure to subscribe but thanks for watching guys this has been mumbo and i’m out i’ll see You Video Information
