Mojang wants the community to place 20 million sulfur blocks, spawn 50 million cubes, or feed TNT to 10 million of them by June 24. Hit the targets and every Bedrock player gets a free cursed cubes add-on plus exclusive headgear.

If you play Bedrock Edition, Mojang just gave you a direct assignment: go cause measurable chaos with the new sulfur cubes and help unlock free stuff for the entire player base. The Chaos Sparks Community Challenge opened yesterday and the clock is running until June 24 at 10 AM PT.
Pick a team, wear the jersey
First move is choosing your chaos flavor. Grab one of three free jerseys from the Minecraft Marketplace on Bedrock or download the matching skins for Java. Brawler for combat types who will feed TNT, Builder for those placing blocks, Rancher for players spawning mobs. You can switch teams or do all three. The cosmetics are already available now.
The actual targets
- Place 20 million sulfur blocks
- Spawn 50 million sulfur cubes
- Feed TNT to 10 million sulfur cubes
These are community totals, not solo quests. Every block placed, cube spawned, or TNT fed by any participating Bedrock player counts toward the shared pool. The numbers look big but spread across millions of players they become realistic if enough people show up.
What you get if it succeeds
Clear the goals and everyone on Bedrock receives the free Chaos Cubed: Cursed Cubes add-on from Blockception. It lets sulfur cubes absorb wild new blocks with surprising results that spread even more disorder. You also unlock three Character Creator items: Sulfur Cube Head, Brawler Helmet, and Builder Helmet. Claim any or all of them once the challenge closes.
Java players get the jerseys as skins via direct download but the main rewards target Bedrock. The event requires an internet connection and the usual platform rules apply for multiplayer. Rewards must be claimed by June 16 2027.
The challenge is live right now. If you want the free add-on, load up Bedrock, pick your jersey, and start contributing before next Wednesday. No downside to trying, and the upside is new chaos tools for every player who shows up.
