Mojang delivers long requested colored concrete building blocks alongside new explorer maps for abandoned camps in the latest 26.3 Java snapshot released today.
Mojang dropped 26.3 Snapshot 7 today and it finally gives builders the concrete stairs and slabs they have wanted for years. All 16 concrete colors now have matching variants. At the same time the team added new explorer maps that lead players to abandoned camps in biomes ranging from cherry groves to the dappled forest plus several major structures.
What Actually Changed
Maps got a meaningful rework. Player icons now indicate facing direction and new dedicated explorer map items cover abandoned camps across eight biomes and a handful of structures including ancient cities and trial chambers. These maps cannot be zoomed out and come with updated loot tables in the camps themselves.

No massive exploit waves but the patch list covers several edge cases that mattered to technical players.
This looks like one of the final snapshots before 26.3 moves toward release. The focus has clearly shifted from flashy new biomes to polishing the systems that let players actually use them. If you run a building focused server or just like making detailed bases these changes are immediate quality of life upgrades.
