I spent 6 000 hours on a Minecraft server over the last decade I spent tens of thousands of hours playing Minecraft across various platforms versions and servers yet my largest chunk of time has been spent in a community called Hypixel Skyblock Hypixel is by far the largest

Server in all of Minecraft with your most popular game mode being Skyblock Hypixel sake on Skyblock is nothing like the classic game mode instead it’s a fully fledged MMORPG with a crazy amount of progression lore death and a player driven economy some players choose to go above and beyond in their Skyblock

Journey electing to disconnect themselves entirely from the economy aspect of the server this mode is called Iron Man meaning every single item must be created on your own without any interaction with other players this Iron Man mode on high pixel Skyblock is where I spent 6 000 hours in this span of the

Past a year and a half Hypixel Skyblock revolves around a dungeon known as the catacombs home to 15 floors of increasing difficulty with various bosses you and some teammates explore a randomly generated dungeon defeating many bosses to collect power-ups called blessings used to fight the floor’s final boss defeating the

Boss Rosie with catacombs experience and loot making you more prepared to dominate the higher floors the higher the floor the better the loot and the better the experience gain the culmination of all the time I’ve played has made me the number one most experienced dungeons player in all of

Iron Man Skyblock to start my journey I gathered some basic gear to prepare myself for the entrance of the Catacombs dungeons after clearing the map to gather the power-up it’s time to face off against the first boss of dungeons The Watcher the watch responds Undead and is defeated when all the undead have

Been slain this next floor features Bonzo as a boss a literal clown I guess I could say I clowned on him I actually have to fight Bonzo numerous times to gather two rare drops the first one is his mask which is a temporary invulnerability helmet the second is his

Staff a decent weapon that fires balloons using some of the gear we looted from Bonzo we can move on to the next floor and face off against scarf a necromancer student who likes anime a little bit too much from this floor all we really gain is a trinket that

Slightly increases the rate we level up our dungeon classes for the third floor of dungeons we can duel scarce Professor who’s aptly named the professor he seems to be quite obsessed with guardians we basically only defeat him once to move on to the next floor as nothing is needed from

Here with her gear relatively similar to how we entered the third floor of dungeons we enter the fourth to fight Thorne a shamanghast who also appears to be a vegetarian Thorn can only be damaged by a special bow that appears when you kill his spirit animals and bears four shots and he’s down

Thorne actually has a 1 in 40 rare drop called a spirit Wing I need to gather three of these and some lapis to craft my new weapon a spirit scepter 92 runs later and all three Spirit Wings have been acquired the spirit scepter fires bats that explode on impact doing medium

AOE damage moving on to the fifth floor we Face Off against livid a failed assassin turn into an undead minion of the Catacombs from this floor we need a whole new armor set I have my eyes set on the shadow assassin armor set with the rarest piece being the chest plate which

Is a one in 200 drop turns out I was quite unlucky in the full armor set took me almost 500 runs to complete this armor set mostly focuses on a Berserker or an Archer build and I’ve been using a mage setup up until now this means I’ll

Need to find a new main weapon for this we will turn to Enderman in the end island of Skyblock there’s that all different kinds of Enderman and a Slayer buff drops no Spears which along with a load of various materials can make a powerful mid-game bow only if they kill

Tons of low-level Slayer bosses to get all the drops and then spend countless hours Gathering other materials but at the end of it all I finally have my new weapon a JuJu short bow this bow fires instantly and Deals a solid amount of damage let’s take our new weapon and

Armor set and use it against sedon a powerful Necromancer and the son of storm another boss we will see later the dawn raises an army of Undead terracotta warriors these prove to deal heavy damage but with a tank on our team to soak up the damage it is no issue next

Up sedon summons four giants while also having placed six heavy hitting Golems on the floor after all of this sedon spawns in his ultimate corpse and fuses with it for the final stage of the fight sedon does have one extremely rare sword available in salute pool but we do not

Need it for now so we’ll simply move on to the next floor moving on to the seventh and final Florida normal dungeons the floor is incredibly custom designed and has four different bosses in it in the first area of the boss we Face Off against maxor a young

Inexperienced wither with the help of the team we lead him into the laser twice and that’s the end of maxor the next boss we see is Storm the father of sedon and a master of lightning learning storm underneath the pillar and crushing him severely weakens him and doing it again is his death

[Applause] the third boss we come across in floor 7 is the gold ore The Keeper of the terminals this stage of the dungeon is a little bit different as you and the team have to finish assorted puzzles to progress but if you’re too slow Golder approaches

You with an instant death field if he cannot take damage before all the puzzles have been completed once all the puzzles are completed you can finally fight goldor in the tunnel thank you once he has been defeated you are lowered down to the factory cork reveal

The final boss of floor 7. the second in command of the Catacombs the one who livid failed to assassinate necron himself necron does extremely heavy damage up close but after taking some damage retreats to the middle of the core to perform a nuclear frenzy attack you can cancel this out by dealing

Sufficient damage to him and after this he can take damage once again once he falls the normal catacombs have been fully conquered and the loot is revealed from this floor I’m trying to obtain the most powerful healing item in the game the Hyperion the craft it you

Need four different crops all of which are close to one in a thousand I defeated necron of 550 times and obtains zero out of the four drops so for now I’m giving up on the Hyperion I’m willing to move on though because I have already obtained necron’s armor which is

Essentially a direct upright to shadow assassin and arguably the best armor set in the catacombs the next level of difficulty in dungeons is the master mode the boss is in the layout of the map remain exactly the same with the one exception which we’ll talk about later every hostile mob does heavily buff

Damage and is exponentially more Health the juju short post simply won’t cut it anymore and we need to get its upgraded form the terminator bow is arguably the strongest DPS weapon in all of Skyblock and is needed to take on the master mode the crafted I’ll need a judgment core a

1 in 2 000 drop from the hardest tier the previously seen Enderman Slayer boss one of the hardest non-dungeon mobs in the game to fight I’m nowhere near prepared to fight this boss so I’m having a friend end of mine kill it for me it appears I got lucky as 450 bosses

Later I finally obtained a judgment Corps after countless hours of grinding gravel lapis ender pearls quartz obsidian and some other assorted materials I finally have the terminator bow this thing is an absolute Beast we will skip past the first two Master mode floors and get straight into the third

Master mode floor here we can find master mode Professor he drops only one thing I want a first Master star a master star is an item I can apply to my weapons or armor that increases my stats on that piece of gear in master mode by

Five percent per star I’ll need a set of five of each planet Master shark four for my armor and one for my bow that’s why we were here facing off against Master mode Professor the master star on this floor is a 1 in 40 drop and to get

Five of them took me 170 runs after all of these runs my catacombs leveled rest at a solid 36. another familiar face we get to revisit Thorne the only drop needed here is five second master Stars there’s slightly more common here at 1 in 25 runs foreign

After 130 runs I’ve obtained all five and my catacombs level is now 38. we are back once again to this Arena battling livid we want five of his third Master Stars these are way rarer at one in a hundred after 650 runs I’ve tanned all the master shards but my catacombs level

Is still lacking for the next floor at only 42. I will play the floor another 900 times to upgrade my catacombs level to 44 in order to gain adequate stat Buffs for the six Master mode dungeon floor this has definitely been the most gruesome part of the grind so far

Rotations around the map and once you’re are killed under their specific statue it deals excruciating damage to the Wither King once all five unique dragons have been slain at their statue the withered King is temporarily immobilized and the dungeon ends successfully with a loot being available to open in the

Center of the Arena from this floor I can pick up where I left off on normal floor 7 by trying to obtain a Hyperion after 450 runs I will let my catacombs level to 50 which is a maximum level in the game at this point I’m already a top 10 Iron Man dungeons

Player but to me this wasn’t enough for all my master mode floor 7 runs I’ve been playing healer a support class which got rather tedious and boring I decided if I was to continue after the maximum catacombs level I wanted to upgrade into the alpha class of the team

The Archer as I mentioned previously the terminator bow is the strongest DPS weapon in the game and the Archer class Buffs all Arrow damage dealt this makes an Archer wielding a terminator bow the strongest player in a team by far in order to upgrade into an Archer I need a

Second terminator bow this is so I can wield one which is stronger in dungeons for normal mobs and many bosses and I can have a second alternate terminator bow variant that fires an extra arrow that is superior to using its bosses and to be a proper Arch sure I need to get

My hands on it returning to Enderman having a close friend slay the bosses for me I obtained a second judgment court and a mere 600 Enderman bosses after this I entered Master mode floor 7 as an Archer and I fell in love with the play style of the class I will play

Another 1 700 runs as an Archer simply for fun and this time I obtained not one not two not three but four hyperions it was at this time I wanted to diversify and have maximum class levels and perks for all five dungeon classes so I will play another 1 300 runs alternating

Between the other four classes I finally maximized all my dungeon classes in perks and also became the very first Iron Man player to ever do so I spent 6 000 hours on this journey and who knows how many more I will spend if you enjoyed this video and want to
