Okay let’s try something different welcome back to Minecraft I’m Dave and today as you can see we’re going to be building Pikachu from Pokemon so I’ve had a ton of requests to start building some pokemons this is actually not my very first Pokemon build I actually built the holiday-themed

Pikachu back around December so definitely check that out if you haven’t already but I really wanted to start out you know my new batch of Pokemon builds obviously with another Pikachu since he’s one of the most popular pokemons out there I really looked around and tried to see what had been done with

Pikachu and surprisingly nobody had done a build where he’s looking like he’s powering up and getting ready to attack so I really wanted to do that you know with the Lightning coming out of his cheeks or going into his cheeks whichever you want to think of it as so

He’s getting ready to attack and that’s what I decided to go for so as I said I had a ton of requests to do this I figured it would be a great time to do it since pokemons go just came out probably what a couple weeks ago now

Maybe a little bit less and it’s just absolutely you know blowing everything up it’s absolutely killing it right now so figured what better time to throw this together so I hope you all like it I hope you’ll try to build it on your maps and with that let’s go ahead and

Get into the building alright for this build where I need a few different types of wool they are brown wool black wool yellow wool light blue wool red wool and finally white wool as you can see we’ve already got one block of the black down

To the right of it we’re going to add two more black so one and two go ahead and build up here on the right with one block of the yellow to the right of it out of black to the left of it at two yellow one two followed by two black one

And two go ahead and build up here on the left above the black with one black to the left of it out of black to the right of it at four yellow one two three four and then a black go and move up move in one block from the right so

Above the yellow build up for the black to the left of it we’re going to go ahead and add five yellow one two three four five and then a black go ahead and move up above this black filled up with a black to the left of it

Add one black to the right of it add one black follow now by three yellow one two three and then two black one and two go ahead and move up here on the right above the black build up with a yellow to the right of it add one black to the

Left of it go ahead and add seven yellow so one two three four five six seven now go ahead and follow it up with seven black so one two three four five six seven and then add three yellow one two three followed by two black one and two

Well we’re over here we’re going to build down so below this black that we just added we’re going to build down with one yellow to the left of it add one black to the right of it go ahead and add five yellow one two three four

Five and then a black go ahead and move down move in one block from the right so below the yellow build down the black to the left of it add two more black one too followed now by four yellow one two three four and then a black go and move

Down move in one block from the left so below the yellow build down the black and to the right of it add three more black one two and three let’s go ahead and move up here on this left hand side directly above this black we’re going to

Build up with one yellow to the left of it add a black to the right of it we’re going to build all the way across until we stop on the yellow out there on the outside right just before the black will block so I’m not going to count it out

We’ll just build straight across and we’ll stop right here and to the right of it add one black go ahead and move up above the black build up with a yellow to the right of it add one black to the left of it we’re going to build all the

Way across the top of the build until we’re above the black wool on the other side so again no reason to count out we’ll just build straight across stop right there to the left of that add one block of the black go ahead and build up over here on the

Left with one black to the left of it out of black to the right of it we’re just going to build yellow all the way across and stop where the yellow does on the opposite side so again no reason to count just building straight across we’ll stop right there to the right of

It out of black go ahead and move up build up with a black here on the right to the left of it we’re going to build yellow all the way across until we stop on that second-to-last Blackwell block it’s what I’m going to do is we’ll go

Ahead and build over here on the far left we’ll add one black and now in between those two black wall blocks we’re just going to fill in with yellow and then for the next two rows we’re just going to duplicate this so again no reason to count it out so we’ll build up

A black here on the right build across the top with our yellow straight across stop or the yellow does and then I’ve black go ahead and build up go ahead and do the same thing this one last time we’re going to build straight across stop where the yellow does and then add

One black so that was three rows of the same exact block counts for the yellow and the black wool on the left and right as you can see so there’s one two and three so over here on the left hand side now we’re going to build up with one

Black to the right of it add one yellow followed by two black one two and now to make this easy on ourselves we’re going to go ahead and move over here to the far right and we’ll build up above this black on the far right with one black

Now to the left of it we’ll go ahead and add six yellow so one two three four five six and then we’ll go ahead and follow that up with four of our black one two three four and then just fill in between the black over there on the left

And this black wall with some yellow no reason to count it out we’ll just build straight across go ahead and build up here on the left above the black with one black to the right of it out of black followed by two yellow one two and

Then a black go ahead and move across to the outside right above the black over here on the right we’re going to build up with a brown to the right of it add one back to the left of it out of black followed now by four of our yellow one

Two three four and then a black four yellow one two three four and then a black and then just fill in between the black over there on the left and this one on the right with some yellow no reason account we’ll just build straight across go ahead and build up here on the

Left above the black with a black to the right of it go ahead and add four yellow one two three four and then a black go ahead and move over to the far right above this black will block over here on the far right we’re going to build up

With a brown to the right of it out of black to the left of it out of brown followed now by two black one and two and then go ahead and add two yellow one two and then a black follow now by six yellow one two three four five six and

Then a black and then just fill in between the black over there this black with yellow so that would have been one two three four five six yellow go ahead and move up here on the left above the black build up with a black to the right

Of it go ahead and add a four yellow one two three four and then a black six yellow one two three four five six and then a black and then eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight followed now by a black go ahead and

Skip two spaces so one two above this next Brown will block filled up with a black to the right of it at two Brown one two and then a black go ahead and build up out here on the outside right above the black with a brown to the

Right of it add one black to the left of it out of brown followed by a black go ahead and move to the interior the build we see that we have this black will block just to the right of the yellow build up with one black directly above

It to the left of it add six yellow one two three four five six and then two black one to follow now by eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight and then two black one two two yellow one two and then a black go ahead and move up we’re going

To move in one block from the left so about the yellow build up with a black and now we’re going to go ahead and we will add thirteen yellow so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen and then a black followed now by four yellow one two

Three four and then a black go ahead and move out to the outside right where the tail is above this black on the right build up with a black to the left of it at three yellow one two three and then a black go ahead and move up move out to

The outside right we’re going to move in one block from the right so love the yellow build up with a black to the left of it at three yellow one two three and then a black go and move over here to this next Blackwell block build up with

A black to the left of it we’re going to go ahead and we will add 19 yellow so one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 and then one block of the black go ahead and

Move up over here on the left we’re going to build up with one yellow above the black to the left of it out of black to the right of it add to yellow one two followed by four black one two three four and then 13 yellow one two three

Four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 and then a black go ahead and move out to the outside right we’re going to move in one block from the right so above the yellow build up with a black to the left of it add three yellow one

Two three and then a black go ahead and move out to the outside right above this black we’re going to build up with one yellow to the right of it add one black to the left of it add one light blue followed by two yellow one two and then

A black go ahead and move inward we see we have this column of three black wool blocks we’re going to move in one block to the left from that so above the yellow build up with a light blue to the left of it at two light blue one two

Followed by a yellow and then two red one two followed now by six yellow one two three four five six and then a black and then go ahead and add eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight followed by three light blue one two and

Three over over here we’re going to build this lightning bolt down so below this far left hand side build down the light blue to the left of that a light blue build down below this far left side with one light blue to the left of it

Add two light blue one two below this left-hand side we’re going to go ahead and build down with two light blue one and two to the left of that at two light blue one to go ahead and move back up from where we build down these two light

Blue blocks we’re going to build up with one light blue to the left of it add a light blue build up here on this left-hand side if the one light blue to the left of it add two light blue one and two so as you can see that’s the way

That’s going to look right there that lightning bolt coming out from that cheek we’re going to go ahead and move back in here on this left hand side so we’re going to skip across all of these light blue blocks until we’re above the very last one just before the yellow

Here so I love this light blue go ahead and build up with a black to the right of it go ahead and add one red followed now by four yellow one two three four and then two black one two followed by seven yellow one two three four five six

Seven and then to red one two followed by three light blue one two three and then a yellow three light blue one two three go ahead and skip one space so we’re going to skip this black hole block to the right of it above the yellow go ahead and build up with a

Black to the right of that add two light blue one two and then two yellow one two and then a black go ahead and build up here on this right hand side above the black with one black to the left of it at three yellow one two three and then

Four of your light blue one two three and four go ahead and skip the next two light blue so one two above this yellow block filled up with a black to the left of it add one yellow and then four red one two three four followed by a yellow

And then two black one two and then eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight followed by a black yellow red two light blue one and two go ahead and build up here on this left-hand side with one block of the light blue above

The light blue to the left of it add a light blue well we’re over here let’s just go ahead and finish off this lightning bolt as well so over here above this far left light blue we’re going to build up with a light blue to

The left of it add to light blue one to build up above this light blue that we just added with two light blue one and two to the right of it add one light blue to the left of it add one light blue over here on the Left we’re going

To build up with one light blue to the left of it add two light blue one to go ahead and finish off this piece above this far left side build up with a light blue to the left of it add a light blue go ahead and move back down we see where

We have this vertical piece going up into this horizontal three block piece on the right hand side of it we’re going to build up with one light blue the right of it add a light blue above the right hand side build up with one light blue there we go

Now what we can do is we can go ahead and move back here we see that we have these two light blue that we originally added just above this first set a light blue just the left of the red so to the right of these two light blue here we’re going to build

Up with a black just above this light blue to the right of it add one yellow followed by three black one two three and then go ahead and add six yellow one two three four five six and then four black one two three four followed by a yellow red two light blue

One two and then a yellow black go ahead and move out to the outside right we see we have these two Blackwell blocks here on the far right we’re going to move in one block from the right so we’ll of the yellow build up with a black to the left

Of it at three yellow one two three and then a light blue followed by a black go ahead and move up out here on the outside right we’re going to move in one block from the right again so above the yellow build up with a black to the left

Of it at three light blue one two three and then a yellow followed by two black one and two go ahead and move to the interior of the build we see we have these two Blackwell blocks here we’re going to skip those above this yellow

Build up with a light blue to the left of it out of light blue followed by three yellow one two three and then two black one to one white followed by eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight and then a white I’m going to

Black one yellow and then a black go and move up here on this left hand side and build up with one black above the black we just added to the right of it we’re going to go ahead and we will add 12 yellow one two three four five six seven

Eight nine 10 11 12 followed by a black and then go ahead and add five yellow one two three four five followed by a light blue all right so here’s how we’re coming along thus far we’re going to continue building up here on the tail I think what I’m going to do

Is just go ahead and finish off the tail because it’ll make it a lot easier so let’s go ahead and move up here on this right-hand side we’re going to move in one block from the right so I love the light blue build up with a black to the

Left of it go ahead and add five yellow one two three four five and then a black go ahead and build up here on this left hand side directly above the black with a black to the right of it go ahead and add six yellow one two three four five

Six and then a black go and move up build up above this black with one yellow to the right of it out of black to the left of it we’re going to go ahead and we will add four yellow one two three four followed by four of your

Light blue one two three and four go ahead and move up we’re going to skip this outside left light blue above the second light blue build up with a light blue to the right of it add one black followed by seven yellow one two three

Four five six seven and then a black go ahead and build up here on the right with one block of the yellow above the black to the right of it add one black to the left of it we’re going to add six yellow so one two three four five six

And then a black followed by two light blue one two go and move up move in one block from the left so about the light blue build up with a light blue to the right of it add two light blue one two followed by seven yellow one two three

Four five six seven and then a black all right so as you can see the tail is coming along we’re going to continue building up here on this right-hand side so love this black build up with a yellow to the right of it add a black to

The left of it add seven yellow one two three four five six seven and then a black go ahead and move up above the black build up with a black to the right of it add nine yellow one two three four five six seven eight nine

And then a black go ahead and move up above this black we just added add one yellow to the right of it add one black to the left of it we’re going to add eight yellow one two three four five six seven eight and then a black go ahead

And move up build up with a black here on the left to the right of it add 10 yellow one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and then a black up above this right hand side above the black we’re going to build up with a black to

The left of it add nine yellow one two three four five six seven eight nine and then a black go ahead and move up here on the Left build up with a black above the black to the right of it we’re going to go ahead and add seven yellow one two

Three four five six seven and then two black one two go ahead and move up we’re going to skip these two Blackwell blocks above the first yellow build up with a black to the left of it out of black followed now by four yellow one two

Three four and then a black go ahead and move up build up with a black here on the left to the right of it add to yellow one two followed by two black one two and then just cap off the top of these two yellow with two black one and

Two so as you can see the tail is now complete we’re going to move back into the face and continue building up the top of the head so over here on the left hand side above this black wool block we’re going to go ahead and build up

With a black and to the right of it we’re just going to add yellow all the way across until we get to where that light blue is so we’ll just build yellow straight across the top and we’ll stop just before the light blue now directly above the light blue add one light blue

And to the right of it add one light blue so now as you can see that lightning bolt is connected so what we can do now is directly above that first light blue we added we’re going to move in one block from the right so we’ll of

The yellow build up with a black to the left of it we’re going to go ahead and we will build yellow all the way across and match up with the yellow on the far side no reason account again we’ll just stop right there and then add one black go

Ahead and move up move in one block from the left build up with a black directly above the yellow to the right of it we’re just going to add yellow across directly to wear the yellow stops on the other side again no reason to count I’ll just stop right there above the black

Add one black so just like that go ahead and move up move in one block from the right so above the yellow build up with a black to the left of it out of black again we’re just going to add yellow straight across and stop or the yellow

Stops on the left-hand side just like that to the left of it add one black so it looks like that go ahead and move up we’re going to move in one block from the left so above the yellow build up with a black now to the right of it what

We’re going to do is we’re actually going to build all the way across and we’ll stop above this first black hole block here that’s what I’m going to do is just add a spacer so directly above this far right black we’ll just build up with a black rule and then fill in

Between the two with yellow wool so we’ll just do that really quick over here on this left hand side directly above this black hole block we’re going to build up with a yellow to the left of it add one black to the right of it add one black and now we’ll just build

Yellow wool straight across until we stop above the black wool on the far right so just like this to the right of it add one black wool block go ahead and build up here on this right hand side directly above the black with one yellow

To the right of it add one black to the left of it we’re going to go ahead and we will add three yellow one two three followed by two black one two and then six yellow one two three four five six followed by three black one two three

Three yellow one two three and then a black go ahead and build up here on the left above the black with one black to the right of it at four yellow one two three four and then a black go ahead and skip one space above the yellow build up with

The black to the right of it at five black one two three four five go ahead and skip two spaces so skip these two black above the yellow build up with a black to the right of it add four yellow one two three four and then a black and

Now as you can see we’re just to the point we’re building the ears so we’ll build this right here and then focus on the left so directly above this right hand side above the black wool we’re going to go ahead and build up with one

Turns out I’m happy with the way this one came together I definitely like the way that it looks in terms of it attacking I definitely think this is kind of the style I’m going to go for with the pokemons builds I kind of want to make them look like they’re attacking

Because most of the pixel art that I’ve seen on YouTube they’re just in simple poses they’re not really attacking or anything so this is definitely what I think I’ll go for obviously if there’s any Pokemon you want to see go ahead and make some requests I may not get to them
