Hello everyone only drivin here again and today we’re doing another tutorial in Minecraft sky factory for today we’re gonna be showing just the very basics of how to start off a simple storage system and what we’re gonna be concentrating on today in your advancement book under the Age of storage tab is this top corner up here which is the five parts up here that I currently have blue so we’re gonna show how to make these items and how to put them into just basic usage there are much more advanced ways to use some of the components that I’m starting With today but this tutorial is just showing how to get started so right off the bat any of the materials and such that we’re looking at today if you go into your crafting in the bottom right and you type at simple you’re gonna pull up all the different items were working With today and by scrolling over those and clicking on it it will show you the recipes that I’ll be working with today we’re going to start by making some storage cables we’re gonna need a bunch of those and that is six stone slabs three across top three across the bottom And an iron ingot that’ll give you several of those next we’re going to need a storage link cable we’ll need some of those and that’s four of the storage cables we just made and a chest in the center the next step is the component we need for a future that’s Processing cables and processing cables is an observer for gold ingots and for storage cables now we’re going to use those processing cables to make our controller which we need four of the processing cables block of obsidian in the center and for blacas of lapis that will give us a controller Next we need our storage network master and that’s going to be for storage cables for blocks of quartz and a diamond in the center we’ll need one of those next is our storage request table which again is for storage cables a crafting table in the center and for Gold ingots and lastly we’re going to make the storage remote which requires one storage cable for gold ingots two storage export cables two storage import cables now again if you’re not sure how to make some of those the storage import and export recipes are right here very simple very common patterns to what We’ve already made unlike a storage link cable just difference of putting either a piston or a hopper in the center okay so that’s what we need to kind of get started some of these blocks aren’t really needed for the basic setup but to get all of those advancements we’re Gonna go ahead and make them all so let’s go over here and grab ourselves some basic supplies that we put together all right we’re going to start with our storage network master we’re gonna go ahead and put that down okay next we want to add our storage request table no That just goes right on top there easiest way to put it now once you have that put together you can right click on it on the top but it’s not gonna do anything because there’s nothing connected to it currently so we need to connect some inputs so we’re gonna go Ahead and we’re gonna drop just a chest down any type of chests to work now on the side of that chest we’re going to use one of our storage link cables now if you just right-click on a chest of course it’s only going to open the chest So you have to hold down the shift button and right click to get that on there and then we’re gonna add a storage cable to that to connect it you don’t have to use the storage cable you can put the chest closer I just spaced it Out so I can show you how the storage cables work themselves you can run those any distance now if we open our chest we throw ourselves some oak wood planks in there you’re in the chest now if we right-click on our storage request table you’ll see that we now have access to The items that are in that chest oak wood planks which we can take out if we put them back in they’ll appear right back in the chest so again taking them out inventory no longer in the chest putting them back in puts them puts them Back in the chest very very easy to do and of course you can craft you can do a search for so if you have tons items there you can do a search for it specifically you could put up for example chest click on a chest if you Click the little plus button that’ll put your pattern here you can then craft directly out of your inventory drop that in there now we look just click X to clear out your table now we have a chest inside our chest very very easy to do I’m gonna go ahead make it daytime and We’ll continue all right so you can do this with multiple different chests so if we put a second chest down set it up the exact same way again you don’t have to leave the extra space here you get the chest right next to it have the cables connecting on the back this I’m Just setting this up so you can see a little easier and we open up this second chest throw some gold ingots in there go back and we look at our storage request table now we can see all of the items that we had in there and the two Different chests are now combined now there’s a lot more advanced ways of making sure that when you put items into your storage request table that they go to specific storage blocks it’s a little more advanced than we’re going to tackle today but we will cover that in a future Video right now we’re just setting up the basics now the next thing we have to take care of that we’re gonna look at today is the controller now the controller itself again not needed for the basic storage set up but just dropping one down or making one is going To go ahead and it’s going to give you the control yourself achievement or advancement which you need to unlock so right now we’ve done all four of these just by building and putting these down the controller is itself a more advanced block we’re going to cover its usage in Its own separate video in the future so the very last thing we’re going to look at today is going to be this storage remote and the storage remote is awesome I’m not gonna lie it’s very very handy if you just right-click up in the air in The middle or it doesn’t do anything but with a storage remote if you right-click on your storage network master you see that it will link it to that master and now when you right-click in the middle of nowhere you have access to your entire inventory that’s connected to Your storage network from up to 64 blocks away then you can see if we look down here the distance it gives the coordinates of the control master that you have linked it to and you can craft from this you can access you can take items putting them in and out of your Storage from remotely away so that that’s a very overpowered item that’s going to give you access to your entire network from up to 64 blocks so controller is awesome highly recommend carrying it with you whenever you go now if you’re traveling far away 64 blocks May not be enough now there is a more advanced version of this we’re gonna go ahead down here we’re gonna click again and you can see here we have the storage remote and these simple storage remote simple storage remote pattern is for slimeballs to gold ingots a network master in the Center and a glowstone it links the exact same way but this gives you crafting from an unlimited distance so again once you have these materials upgrading from a storage remote to a simple storage remote is a phenomenal idea because at that point you’ll be able to access your storage network from Pretty much anywhere that you go so that is all the basics of setting up just a simple storage network and more importantly getting you the advancements in the top corner of the age of storage and with that you’ll be able to really really start compacting and building some more advanced storage setups down The road we will cover those in a future video so I’d like to thank everyone for watching today if you found the video helpful please be sure to click like as well as be
