In this video every block affected by gravity will be ranked on a tier list all the way from anvils to the dragon egg this is the ultimate Minecraft gravity block tier list so subscribe and smash like for a heart in the comments and now on to the tier list this tier List has five tiers fantastic good average lacking and bad I’ll start off with a useful one the Anvil the Anvil is arguably the most practical one on this list and has a variety of uses its main use is enchanting and combining items in the Anvil there are two slots where you Can put items into for for instance if you had some diamond boots in a feather falling four book then you could put the boots in the first slot and the enchanted book in the second one then you can enchant your boots with feather falling however if you try and enchant Something too many times it will show up as too expensive regardless of how many levels you have the Anvil can also be useful for combining and repairing broken items so if your stone pickaxe that you don’t want to lose breakes and you have another slightly used stone Pickaxe then you can combine them in your Anvil to repair them to a higher durability and if the item happens to have enchantments on it then it will transfer the enchantments over to the combined version and finally the Anvil can also repair items so if you have an Iron sword that’s been used a couple of times but you don’t have another one to repair it with and you’re too poor to make a new one then you can take an iron ingot and combine it with the iron sword to repair its durability as a falling block though anvils deal a significant Amount of damage to players If drop from high enough so anvils can be used in a variety of traps and do a pretty good job if you can manage to hit your target I think anvils also look pretty cool as a decoration but I got to give anvils a Fantastic tier concrete powder this powder can come in many different colors 16 to be exact just like concrete terracotta and wool products my personal favorite is the white powder concrete powder is made from four gravel four sand and whatever dye you want the color to be and that gives you eight concrete Powder concrete powder is cool but if you want to convert it into normal hard concrete which is a lot better for building then you can place it in water or use a concrete converting machine this machine basically takes your concrete powder and feeds it past some water blocks to convert it into normal Concrete once it does that Pistons push it down to the blast chamber area where is exploded and collected some designs I’ve seen are insanely fast to work at mind-blowing speeds but back to the white powder this powder is affected by gravity so if you need gravity blocks For something and sand is just too boring these can be a great alternative so I’ll give concrete powder a good tier the dragon egg is a very unique one it is one of the most limited items in Minecraft because you can only get one of them without any exploits you can get The dragon egg by killing the ender dragon for the first time in your world once the Ender Dragon dies and does the whole cinematic explosion thing the egg will spawn at the top of the end Fountain to get a hold of the actual egg you can’t just simply mine it what I Like to do is take a Vantage of its gravity block Properties by placing a torch under it to collect it because when you hit it it teleports to a random nearby location however once you have the physical dragon egg that’s kind of it you can put it on display if you like To but aside from that it has no other special properties the dragon egg isn’t even necessary for respawning the Ender Dragon to respawn the Ender Dragon you get four ender crystals and place them on the four sides of the end Fountain the crystals will then begin relighting all the different pillars and eventually Resummon the dragon however this time the dragon won’t drop the dragon egg because you already have it I feel like Mojang could have done a lot more with the dragon egg so I’ll put it at a lacking tier now for gravel gravel is a very Overlook block right up until the Moment you need it it spawns everywhere and usually just gets in the way for instance I’m sure if you’ve ever played Minecraft before you’ve gone strip mining at some point and encountered gravel and since gravel is a gravity block you have to mine the gravel as well as every single gravel block above It because it simply keeps falling down with no end in sight gravel can also spawn around surface and underground lakes and ponds and patches on mountains and sometimes the entire mountain is full of gravel gravel can even spawn pretty often in the nether which makes mining for ancient debris just that much Better many people hate gravel with a burning passion to the point where they say it’s their least favorite block in Minecraft however there all comes a time when you’re scrambling to find just one patch of gravel to get some Flint to make a flint and steel to let your Nether portal and some way somehow all the gravel seems to suddenly disappear right when you need it most but whenever you’re searching for gravel you’re really after the Flint not the gravel block and gravel always has a way of being one of the most annoying blocks in Minecraft so I’ll put it at a solid bad tier activated TNT this is a very interesting one because the TNT in its normal State isn’t affected by gravity whatsoever but as soon as you light it it starts to fall and act like an entity or a gravity block lit TNT only exists For a fraction of time because once it’s lit there’s no UNL lightting it it’s going to explode sooner or later one interesting thing that you can do with lit TNT is build a TNT cannon which uses water and dispensers to launch TNT far away from its original location TNT Cannons come in all shapes and sizes and if you play on an anarchy server they could be a great way to do a lot of damage very quickly some more advanced TNT cannons can destroy entire Landscapes very quickly and snipe things from hundreds of blocks away some big Brain guys have even figured out how to make extremely precise cannons that destroy your friend’s base when it’s nowhere near you with insane accuracy so I’ll give the lit TNT block a good tier sand this is what many people first jump to When you mention gravity blocks in Minecraft every Minecraft player has Seen sand before and it’s very abundant deserts are full of them and if you ever find a desert cave there’s likely an overhang made out of floating sand this is sand that has naturally generated floating and will only fall once you update the block by either breaking the Block next to it or placing a Block near it whenever you see this something deep inside you tells you that you just have to make it fall for no reason whatsoever sand can also be used for a lot of different crafting recipes for instance the concrete powder and TNT that I Mentioned earlier both require sand to craft not to mention glass and Sandstone which many people use for building sand is also one of the OG blocks that’s been with Minecraft since the beginning it’s always been there kind of in the background and it’s very useful sand is A fantastic tier red sand this is basically the same as sand but it’s orange instead of yellowish I know the name is red sand but in my eyes this is orange I don’t know if I’m going color blind but I see orange the Red Sand doesn’t spawn in normal deserts it Spawns in the Mesa biome the Mesa biome is a bit rarer than the desert and it’s very different while it still has the cacti it also has these huge plateaus made out of Terra Cotta with caves inside of them in the Mesa biome there could also be abandoned M shafts on the Surface or right under the surface so it can be a good place to get loot early game if you can manage to find one another useful feature of the Mesa biome is the fact that that it has gold everywhere but that’s not important we’re only focusing on the red sand Block red sand isn’t necessarily a bad block but it’s not too special it has the exact same properties as a normal sand and if you want colored sand you could just use concrete powder so I’ll give red sand an average tier pointed dripstone I’m sure that if You’ played Minecraft recently you’ve definitely Heard of this one the pointed drip Stone spawns in caves after the caves and cliffs update it can spawn on the ground as toag mites or on the ceiling I still act tights up close they aren’t too dangerous but for instance if you had a deep hole and place just one at the Bottom it will multiply the damage enough to one-hot a player in full netherite armor and since it’s also a gravity block that means that when you place them below blocks and you break the block that they’re attached to they will fall pretty quickly and if it’s From high enough it can deal even more damage than the falling Anvil which is just insane so the point of dripstone has many uses in various different traps but it can also be used for decoration I think that point dripstone is a really useful block because it’s one of the few Things that can oneshot a maxed out player so I’ll give point of dripstone a good tier suspicious sand this is pretty similar to normal sand but it’s a bit sus the main feature of suspicious sand is the fact that if you slowly brush the layers away it can reveal some pretty Good treasure inside however the suspicious sand is a very fragile block and since it’s affected by gravity if it falls from any height it will break dropping no special items this also applies to some other things for instance it can’t be pushed by a piston Or else it will break this block is also very rare So if you find it make sure that you don’t let it break and currently they are the only source of pottery shards in the game I think that the most interesting feature of this block is the fact that you can’t Normally obtain it by mining you think that you could just use silk touch but no this block is still too fragile for that and it will break dropping No Loot according to the wiki in Java Edition the only way to get this as an item is to have the suspicious sand fall for More than 30 seconds which can be done with a bubble column or with cobwebs however the item doesn’t retain the loot so there’s not much point I’ll give suspicious sand and average tier suspicious gravel this has all the same properties as suspicious sand except this time the base block is gravel the Gravel and suspicious sand blocks can both be broken instantly with just an unenchanted diamond shovel because of how fragile these blocks are there’s not too much more to say about them but my hatred for gravel does also extend to the suspicious gravel so I’m going to put it in the lacking tier scaffolding Scaffolding is a very useful block that can help you out in a lot of situations the scaffolding block is very unique and easy to craft only requiring string and some bamboo so if you have a jungle near you it’s easy to get a ton of scaffolding with scaffolding it allows You to easily Tower up unlike dirt pillars which some people usually use on scaffolding you can freely move up and down which is very convenient this works a lot like the Scaffolding in real life because let you work on buildings and climb around them easily however even though scaffolding was introduced into The game many years ago many players still just use the dirt blocks to pillar up and work on their building because it’s a lot more convenient and in terms of being a gravity block scaffolding isn’t affected unless you try to extend it horizontally without any support Below it so it’s kind of partially a gravity block but it is extremely useful so I have to give it a fantastic GE thanks for watching go watch these videos they’re probably tearless just click on the video and
