Hello everyone santa here and welcome back to another minecraft video it’s been a quite a couple of weeks before bedrock edition news but before you get carried away thinking about 1.20 mojang isn’t even done with 1.19 yet 1.19.3 might be releasing kind of soon for bedrock edition as mojang just Started working on the 1.19.30 betas we have some great news regarding customizable render distance for realms and servers and also some other great news for a spectator mode too great news for all of you realm players that is actually in the game right now realms have been upgraded to a Render distance of 12. so instead of it being unlocked at render 10 you can now see a little bit further on a render distance of 12. so this is rolled out for all realms as far as i’m aware and you could thank corner hard for having a birthday for you getting this feature This right here is a render distance of 12 and this is actually pretty okay it’s not too terrible and it’s pretty decent for realms actually mojing is also working on a new feature called client-side generation which allows you to render your own chunks on a multiplayer server without the server Having to handle those chunks at all so if you’re playing on a realm you could in theory maybe have like a 20 chunk render distance without that affecting the performance of the realm whatsoever this feature isn’t currently in 1.19.20 but it is being worked on in the 1.19.30 Betas and it will be released sometime in the future so i imagine where this is going is they’re going to kind of remove the render distance option for realms and servers and just let players choose their own render distance on their own devices so instead of needing to worry About the render distance of your realm you just worry about the simulation distance and then on your personal device you can choose whatever render distance you want this is honestly a pretty good system if it works the way that i just described and honestly a great feature i’m looking forward to Seeing what this feature turns into and of course they also want to make it so that you can customize the simulation distance of your realms as well which is a highly highly requested feature so give them time good features take a long time to develop and implement correctly And of course corner heart is the lead realms developer for minecraft we’ve also had two new bedrock betas in the last week 1.19 is 30 20 and 119 30 21 there’s a lot of good features in these betas so let’s go over them quickly first things first we have a lot of Changes to spectator mode and these betas you can see an absolute ton of changes on screen right now these are really good little refinements and changes to spectator mode to kind of flush out all of these details now they are getting into the really nitty gritty details of spectator mode at this point It would seem so i kind of wouldn’t be surprised if we see it in 1.19.30 endermen will now only hate survival players so if you stare at them in creative mode they won’t get angry at you or make any angry noises so they only hate survival people how rude get Out of here enchanting tables will once again make a sound when you use them to enchant a book or anything else it is actually a very lovely sound i’m glad that it’s back now if they could just make it so that the enchantment table actually gives you something good Every once in a while that would be nice i mean come on protection one i only need like 40 of those to get a protection for the amount of skulka sensors and skulka shriekers that you’re gonna find in the deep dark and the ancient cities has been increased to Match a java edition so now when you’re wandering around the areas you’re gonna have a very good time trying to avoid the warden look how many sensors and shriekers there are even if you go into the ancient cities there’s still a lot more of them like this right here is What i like to see there’s like 20 000 sensors and like seven shriekers and it’s just great so have fun in the deep dark everybody i didn’t see it mentioned in the change vlogs but it doesn’t appear that any hostile mobs are spawning in the deep dark or the ancient City so in the previous updates and betas you would have zombies skeletons creepers slimes spiders all that kind of stuff generating in the deep dark and ancient cities but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore i haven’t seen a single mob in this area anywhere around The skulk so that’s actually a great improvement as well not sure if it’s fully fixed or not but i haven’t noticed any i got one slime spawning in the ancient city but that is due to slime chunks which are you know entirely different mechanics than general mob Spawning so i guess the jury is still out on whether or not mobs still spawn in the ancient city but it doesn’t seem like they they do i’ve been here for a few minutes haven’t seen anything at all one last thing this warden face is kind Of taken after my face i mean it’s like half and half there we go now we’re matching there’s been a small update to villagers so now if they are named with a name tag you actually be able to see that name in the menu along with their Trading level too there’s been a change to the animation of pistons extending and unextending but i don’t really notice anything do you guys notice anything different apparently it is now smooth border blocks have been updated so now they work at any height in the game by the way these are a creative Only block that kind of act as a world border they don’t work if you’re in creative mode but they do if you’re in survival so if we have a little bridge that tries to go over this as you can see i can’t pass this block at all and If we go up to 32 000 blocks in the air as you can see i’m pretty much just trapped within these exact same coordinates i’m pressing left and right and straight and back and i i can’t get out of this little box so border blocks now work at any height which is actually Fantastic for anyone who runs a mini game server or wants to keep players where they’re supposed to be sadly these don’t work for spectator mode players i feel like that should be changed honestly because you know they just should this is probably going to be impossible to show But goats will now lower their head slightly before they start to ram something so there’s actually an indication of when and what they’re going to ram come on you know you want to do it just ram me ram me off this mountain it would be so satisfying Oh there he goes yeah i saw it haha it only took you know three minutes i didn’t see this mentioned anywhere either but it appears that the pillager outpost has been changed slightly so instead of having the pillager banners right here there’s now a cobblestone wall No idea why that was changed but i guess here we are there’s now a new feature for server owners where you can disable custom skins this prevents all kinds of hacked scans and other weird things that you might not want on your multiplayer server and this makes it so that only Skins from the marketplace are allowed to be used and of course the default steve and alex skins moving on to beta 119 to 30 21 there’s a couple good features in this beta as well there is also a change to light blocks where these things could be deleted by placing An armor stand on top of them so if we place an armor stand there as you can see the light block is still inside of it and if we drop an armor stand on top of them then the light block is still there as well so another good refinement To the light block it to prevent people from breaking these things in survival mode there’s been some much much needed parody to the hoglin and the zoglin the hitboxes of these guys have finally been fixed ever since 1.16 they had an absolutely tiny hitbox but as you can See if you summon them in the middle of a block they now take up a three wide by three wide area that is two blocks tall i’ll see if i can find a screenshot of what it was before they literally had such a tiny hitbox they were only a Block at all they only took up like a one by one by one area it was kind of ridiculous there’s been a slight update to the locate structure command so now anything that is a two-word structure will be separated by an underscore previously you would type ancient city Like this but now of course you need to put an underscore in there so just a little bit of a heads up to you that now applies to any of these structures that are two words there’s been a lovely new feature added to the structure block Whenever you go to load a new structure there is a new toggle for water logging that structure so if you flick that toggle on to true and then you load your structure that is going to put water everywhere inside of your structure if it is actually under water so as you see The bits that are above water are not waterlogged all of our leaves and stairs and all of our you know not full blocks are waterlogged this is going to make building underwater way easier than before and of course if you have that waterlogged toggle set to on and you Spawn it on dry land it’s not going to do anything at all this is purely for a building with structures under water this feature was added because if you don’t have it then this is basically what happens you get a giant hole in the ground anytime you try to paste Something underwater and uh yeah that is just an utter mess as you see a couple of the things are water logged but it’s just it’s a mess you don’t want this so this new feature fixes that entirely and honestly it’s pretty great this beta is Just a creator’s a dream so there is a new menu for you if you open up your settings and go down to creator there is now a little toggle and this is the enable copy coordinate ui so toggle that as on and then you want to go to your Keybinds and if you play in full keyboard gameplay like i do for cinematics it’s gonna be all the way down here at the bottom and there are two different controls added to this so we have copy coordinates which is ctrl alt c and copy facing coordinates which Is ctrl alt x by default now i believe that these options are only for pc but if you plug a keyboard into your phone or your console then you should be able to use them as well this is extremely convenient because now we can look at Any block in the game and press ctrl alt x and it will copy paste the coordinates of that exact block to our clipboard so as you see those coordinates are now on our clipboard and we can use these for a tp command or a fill command or whatever Furthermore there is ctrl alt c so we can do that and that’s to copy our current coordinates so once you of course copy those coordinates you can paste them into the chat like so and then you can use them for any command that you want to and this is incredibly Incredibly convenient for so so many things the previous way of doing this was to look at a block and slash a type and then fill and then just triple tap to get those coordinates and then you would have to control left arrow all of that and then control c and then you Could actually copy paste that as much as you want so obviously the new system is like just a thousand times better two missing items have been added back to the creative menu and that is iron bars and white terracotta as well so those items are no longer missing from the Creative menu and that’s all the news for this week on bedrock edition if you ever find any other bedrock news you think i should know of or any
