Greetings programs per pianissimo here and welcome to Vintage story on the rusty gears Server so as you can see we have started out inside my little big whatever just a a simple room here this is inside the shops District next to our community center so this is Rusty gear season 3 I had some serious issues while I was trying to stream my opening so what I Did was I recorded the building of all of this this is the community center and these are the docks and these are shops that people will be claiming and decorating for their own and then up there is the city level as you can see we do not have a Roof on the community center yet because we haven’t found box site it’s still early days of the server but once we do I will finish the roof up and then I will publish that proper time lapse that shows the progression of this from the beginning with the help of everyone on The server we have pulled this together in record time so I can show you around just a little bit we have the community Center in here um I think we’ve got like gardening and compost and stuff like this Sid made these beautiful shelves so we have some rudimentary storage started And I’ve just barely cut oh my gosh you know this stuff I I don’t know why the signs are so Foo bar I just cut these in the back this is obviously not not done yet you can see the city level up there actually the city level is right there This is going to be the uh castle level and I’ll be building a chapel like right here but this will eventually be another room and I’ve decided to build the lab again so we have someplace to put all of these barrels and other things to do dyes and leather and stuff and then We’re going to have another room back here the firing room we’ll have some pit KS and place to put blo Mar and such and here is the Sellar and candy crafty candy has really done a neat job with the kitchen it does need to expand though so she may take This area here like this entire area and make that into a nicer kitchen we may close this off not from the front but you know it can just be a facade and that would be fine and we can expand the forge out this way so that way she has More room for the kitchen and I was joking around uh that someone had put a hot tub in the community center but I believe candy said that she put this in and it’s wonderful having a well in here for grabbing water or quenching things from the forge so that is extremely Handy and we’ve had a lot of people come in and this is all the stuff that we made in the first few hours almost all of it anyway um we got ourselves to the Bronze Age within a couple of hours because there’s a lot of tin around so This was all made and put together some of the things that we had just found and others that we you know we gathered and so it’s nice to see a community pull together like this we made the early the game go very quickly so we can get on With the business of building and creating and making good content for you guys uh so we can start doing collabs and getting together and it’s going to be a whole lot of fun let me tell you so very quickly let’s go around back again this is going to be the color of the Roof it’s looks like it’s one too far in so I’ll move it out one and it’ll look better but that was just to you know make a point that yeah that’s the roof someone put a dirt roof in for us which was very helpful so this is the back door from The kitchen we’re looking to catch some chickens to go back here little Coupe I love the window over the sink I mean like a kitchen should always have and this is going to be a tunnel to odd ap’s Lighthouse this is just a little quy with the amount of granite that I’ve Needed for the docks build I mean so many people have been just donating Granite everywhere and maple too um I’ve gone up here and gathered what I can as well oh my goodness our currents are flowering it must be cooling down a little bit hopefully they uh get us some Berries so we’re looking up here is going to be the chapel level so we may end up building a big wall on this side so as you can see we have the docks down here sounds like someone is inside I think candy is the one that Decorated a little bit out here so we have a mod that you can Quarry these big slabs it’s really interesting do I have them on me no I don’t um you have little pins that you poke into the ground and you can Quarry those big slabs and you can just knock Off bits as you need so here are the shops this is going to be a lot of fun to see how everybody you know does their own little thing candy has claimed these two and she’s thinking about oh I guess I better not say that could be spoiling but um this Is going to be just a great time and there’s no one hello no one I need to remove the Tick sound effects tick that was no one ghf dropping off some more Granite for me it’s very nice of him he’s got a big mountain of granite um although I am done with the city and I inform informed him of that we’re going to want to put some aside For when people are doing their City builds because we’ll still want Granite for the walkway but I do have the chapel and the castle level that I need to work on and that’s going to take a bit more Granite as well so that is very much Appreciated oh you know we have had lots of I dare I say it horse meat that we’ve been eating just because these guys keep spawning on the docks in the community center on the sod roof so we have our little Jetty or Pier or whatever here U people are Complaining how are the ships going to get through here well I don’t know either it’s you know creative license or perhaps someone really wants to take this piece of the overhang off now that is totally up to them I really want to go up there and take out that floating island Oh speaking of floating Island and that um little bitty thingy myob that little bitty Floating Leaf is also bothering me we’ll have to get that out so the docks extend here and there is a little guard Tower I think no one is going to redesign that for me I told Them I just had a little block that I had put in there and then the city wall will extend to the west from there and we’ve got the City level which will be up here and everybody can do their builds and I thought I saw a fruit Tree peeking out there well that’ll be kind of neat we will well hear bees oh okay so the skeps are still there we’ll want to expand that as well and move them I think the trader is going to end up being a little basement shop cuz We’re going to build right over him but yeah I bet we could make a a little surround to keep that tree safe I wonder what it is should we go check it out didn’t even know there was a tree there I wonder if someone just surely they wouldn’t have planted a cutting There it is a yellow apple is that what it said yellow apple tree it says it’s a young tree I certainly hope someone didn’t plant it there all right but that’s okay if it takes it certainly will be able to stay I don’t even know If an apple is going to grow in this climate I guess we’ll find out okay so I can see someone has tried to make a few steps up here yeah we don’t have the City built or you know The City Gate or anything like that so it’s a little Difficult to get Beyond here but I don’t know people are managing so this is again the city level and there are a couple of places here this is going to be a guest house house so if like the developers decide to visit us we had Sid And Tyrone visit us in season 2 we may have some mod developers like Nicholas and others visit us on the server so this will be a little guest house that we can have some armor and things provided for them this might be like an open market I’m not sure but it’ll be Available and then this will be the castle level I’m building a very big Chapel here I hope I haven’t a bit off more than than I can chew I mean this was a big project but it was big you know not necessarily complicated you can see a lot of the Design is just duplicated and of course it’s really easy to build stuff when you’ve got a zillion people Gathering all the resources for you so you know I am in no way able to take full credit for this all I did was lay block box Down and that was a whole lot of fun so uh yeah credit to the entire server for pulling together and getting this done um but Chapel is going to be all mine and boy I’m not having too much trouble Gathering the resources though it’s been Kind of fun like I said I’ve been doing a quarry on the inside of that there’s a little Lookout on the other side oo there’s a couple of floaty Islands what in the world I wonder why someone’s built a plat form there that looks kind of weird But um you know that looks like a vulture from here this is vulture Mountain does it not looks like a Dodo that’s really funny but no those floating islands they need to go all right so I’ve been in the process of leveling out this area for the chapel And then the castle this is actually the and the corner of where the chapel area will be and then the Castle U hopefully will go here now that is just still in kind of an idea stage but hopefully you will hear more about that as the month’s progress in our Server so what we are doing today is one last touch with the exception of the roof there’s one last thing that I wanted to do on the dock and that is chisel boat cleats for the dock area itself we need to clean this out as well I’m going to see if we can Um do a little collab with someone let’s just get some buckets and then do the best we can to fill this in let’s grab some food now I don’t know if my stew that I made this morning with all that horse meat I brought in is still there let’s check it out it Is oh no let’s bring it down here so we can reach it nice sweet all right now we have a full Bowl ooh that is a loud door let’s go back to my place now these shops are all 5x 10 and I’m not going to build a base anywhere I’m just going to use this little room here and I by virtue of picking this spot I got to extend back here and then back this direction and then under the stairs here so it just gives me a little bit more room I can stage my supplies For the chapel and such from here because this is a multiplayer server and I don’t like to play it like a single player um I like getting together we get through the the base game really quickly and then we can just get on with the creativity and the collaboration and Working together so I’m really excited about that okay so as far as my personal City build goes here’s all of the supplies that I need and I’ve got it all listed here and I’ve got places to put everything I’ve been Gathering a lot of the the quari and a site and gifted a Lot of it right here by Gran it’s she was amazing and she also showed me how to use the mod sheina was going to but he got a little busy with work over the last couple of days but now I’m good to go and I have the supplies to do it and I’ve got a whole Granite Mountain to work on you know to get that chapel and castle level done but here are the supplies and really everything is pretty easy I’ll have to go find Walnut but making lanterns might be an issue and then of course the Luminous Glass although if we can find a few Traders with purple glass I think that will basically jump start us for that but we can buy the purple glasses a few Traders there chains we may make those we may chisel those as well as the iron bars so but everything else age STS an Age trap we may need to do some trading but we’ll figure that out as time goes on okay so what we need to do now is chisel is a boat cleat so let’s take one of these slate rocks give gifted To Us by Punk hole it Was very sweet of him I stocked his channel of course I try to watch all of the resty gears videos and I saw where he put his base and he had the beautiful polished slate that he was using for flooring oh and I can’t pause the game In this one H I’m so used to pausing when the ice maker turns on or whatever so I’m going to work on chiseling this boat cleat and then we can copy them we have plenty of materials I think we need 30 of them and then we can get that Final Touch done on the dock Okay so due to some technical glitches mainly the one in my head that forgot to hit record again after I chiseled that piece uh we finished chiseling the 31 boat cleats that we needed and returned a partly used chisel to the community center cuz I burned mine and The extra that I had made uh was also gone from the community center so we returned the havies we did burn through a chisel doing the cleats so we’ll have to make another one to replace the one we used from the community center but as you can see The cleats look pretty nice actually well if we can if we can do it I know well we can do it there we go so you know they don’t look too bad they don’t look too bad uh so like I said not an expert not an expert so we’re just having fun playing Some games that’s all we’re doing okay so the only excitement that you missed was me going out and not being able to gather Walnut because it was too close to other people’s bases not really feeling comfortable filming me walking around where the other bases are because I don’t know what they’ve shown well I mean I I know what they’ve shown now but um I don’t want to spoil anything I mean I know what they’ve published so far but I don’t want to spoil anything so yeah the only excitement that we had is I found some resin logs That do to a couple more nice mods namely carry capacity look at that um I can pick up those resin logs and bring them back to the community center so we’ll have to discover a place that we can put them that we’ll be able to Gather I guess I don’t know can we just put them inside I don’t think it’ll matter but we may have to carry those in our hands so we’re looking at a pretty long trip so the only excitement is that we found some fruit and you can see that My fruit nutrition is sorely lacking and we cut down a big tree that was uh full of bees and it was far enough away from people that and we have bees here at the community center available so I was not worried about cutting down some wild be Population at least in you know vintage story so and we found a another source of Pete all right I am going to put all of this stuff away then we’ll see what other trouble we can get into okay let’s put away our food first man I don’t know what I ate but Certainly satisfying look at this I am still completely full and this is the stuff that I just made so yeah wow let’s let’s get rid of this rot um veggies and these are not going to last for the night those guys will be fine so We need to figure out a way to preserve these let’s see I I know we can dry them but see that’s 60 saturation and they go down to 50 after you bake them yeah oh yogurt starter well that’s cool um but drying them does preserve them for much much longer so I think What we’ll do is we’ll make a porridge and we’ll seal it up and we will save that for ourselves for the morning and then we’ll dry the rest of these and then put them into storage yeah yeah that’ll work didn’t I have a mushroom yes let’s put the mushroom in there um okay And we can put the honey oh yeah we might be able to make some Jam or something can we do this directly into the barrel I don’t know if we can yes we Can so I wonder if all that quartz that I gathered if that clear quartz is still here it is still here so let’s take that with us and see if we can make some lanterns okay food first this is what I’ve I basically left everything else in the community center And oh except for the corn flowers we’ll make the lab into a place where we can put a bunch of dyes and stuff but for the meantime we’ll just leave those here okay so everything else well I guess we will prepare the fruit uh I I I’m too short I don’t like Using that top oven so we’ll just leave that for candy to put pies and stuff in um oh you know what we’re just going to deal with it we’ll see how well we can see up there if we can’t we’ll put a block like a slab okay that’s not too bad that’s not Too bad we will need a couple bits of fat getting a lot of fat from killing the horses off the dock too oh okay now we’re ready here we Want that for the porridge let’s start drying some Cranberries I think I might want to make an extra thing of porridge as well okay get you there need some of the pee that we gathered look at this look at this I filled those Stacks up so awesome was a quick trip too so it’s Nice to be able to pay back some of the stuff that people have been doing for me okay you and You let’s get you started and we’ll check on our berries over here yep okay so these are all dried let’s make sure that those are yes okay so let’s continue to we’ll just dry one of those and before we burn our berries up here let’s try some black Currants N All right let’s drop off these dried fruits because CU oh gosh that’s pretty good isn’t it let’s leave them in the next container over yeah they’ll last for what that’s a long time the dried black currants and the dried blueberries will last approximately three real life days If the server’s on the entire time cranberries that’s uh almost seven that’s almost a week real life okay so we have a couple of Crocs that we are going to put on the Shelf as well 157 days yes good and I think we’re going to save those on our Persons oh this had a little that’s one full H that’s not going to last 6 days 7.3 days and9 servings I don’t know how long we’re going to be on uh so these I’m going to save for me for use tomorrow and I will use these to eat right now Since they are not going to last let’s this only has 1.3 servings in it but I don’t want it to go bad is anyone on no no one else is on okay um I guess if we log before we can use it we’ll just come back and seal it Up we go dig some stuff and use some energy right uh what we’re going to do now is get the leather cycled so can we do it from Here I don’t remember how much borax it takes um and then we need wow okay good carry capacity is nice go like this come on put it put it down put it down bring it over to the water and then we’ll just carry it back yeah that works I think I missed I Think I missed the spot it’s supposed to go in okay Borax oh wa we don’t have that much borax we should save it okay lime ingredient for lime water and it takes 50 there’s no way we have enough for that one uh chalk okay so 22 yeah we still don’t have enough borax no I don’t want white dye diluted borax so it takes 20 and we don’t have enough of that either huh kind of a bummer all right so we will not be processing any leather um strong Tannon weak tannin we need weak Tannon so let’s process that That that’s at least something so let’s put the Oak in there make it easy to find this this will go into the lab once we get that all set up and let’s take these things home with Us okay so with the beeswax we gathered right three candles nice so we should be able to do this correct no like this ooh we’re doing something wrong yay yes it worked fantastic okay so we’re going to put one here and one here and then we’ll keep one for Ourselves which means this Lantern thank you very much to oh my goodness who gave me the lantern ah I want to say Punk but then I don’t want to say just in case it wasn’t punk I will have to look back but thank you to whomever got me the lantern I have Since replaced it with bismuth from all of those ingots that I processed out of the community center today and so there’s yet one more Lantern to go on the the shops level Kandy made so many of these lanterns and they’ve been distributed amongst the shops level but you know the Goal is to of course fill this in so I need to find some lead and go gather some more there’s a lot of things that need to be done I think the first thing is I go and get a load of chalk and although I hate doing it say Because I have plenty of food to go do that with right now I am worn out and not going to be able to make it uh any longer tonight so thank you so much for joining me on
