Spiritcraft | Ep. 6: Doing RITUALS in our Wizard Tower | Mana and Artifice

Hello everyone it’s your high priestess moon here and welcome to another episode of spirit craft today i have a few things planned for us i would love to build a wizard tower to accommodate the things in the mod called mana and artifice mana and artifice is a magic mod where

You can create your own spells and i’m very excited to try it out it is the predecessor to the mod called ars magicka 2. second i would really love to clear out some space to build a bunch of farms i have a mod in my mod pack called pam’s harvest craft

And there are plenty of crops that i need to plant still so let’s get started All right everyone i have finished building the wizard tower and i’m super excited to show it to you let’s make a little walk up to it all right so we just head right past our elemental craft area which you all remember and we can look at our blacksmith we built last episode

And here’s the start of the new path up to the wizard tower we just take this path around here and there you can see it in the distance and there it is it’s the first time i’ve ever built a wizard tower and i think it came out pretty nice it

Didn’t come out exactly as i intended it to but i think it’s a good first try i’ve detailed some of the area with some landscaping and i made this little bridge to kind of match the ones we have over in the other areas so we can come up through here and up

The stairs and i haven’t really decorated the inside too much yet this is the bottom floor and then if we go up we have the second floor here and we have the first little balcony area which i think is a pretty good view and then we can go up to the

Third floor and this floor has a loft area which we can go up to and i think it has a really great view of my world you can see my blacksmith down there and you can also see my mansion over here and soon i’m going to clear out all of these trees

And all this empty space is going to be used for farm fields and i might as well tell you what i have planned for future episodes so basically what i need to do in this episode today is i need to make a path that goes from our house all the way down

To this little area and then i’m gonna have to connect that path up to it over here and i can also have the path leading to the wizard tower connecting to it as well and all this area is going to be utilized for farmland i think it’s going to be really pretty

And what i have planned in future episodes is i want to build my own town area over in this area of the biome and i think it’s going to be a really really fun project because i’ve never built my own city or town before so if you guys want a little

Aerial view of everything i’ve built so far here it is and i’m really excited to fill up all of this in this episode so i think i’m probably going to start clearing out all of these trees and i’ll see you back i do have to mention any tree that has a

Beehive i’m probably going to keep so we can utilize them for fast crop growth All right everyone i am back and i have finished up landscaping and putting this path in all around the area so i have a more defined space for my crops i also got rid of most of the trees i kept only the trees that were tall

Had a bee hive on them or had fruit on them now all i have left to do is just plant all the crops that i want in the area and i actually have a ton of different kinds of crops to plant i don’t know if you’ve ever played with

Pam’s harvest craft before but it adds like at least a hundred different crops so it’ll be really fun to collect all of those i’ll show you how the fields are looking when i get back all right everyone i have finished tilling all the land that i want to use for crops

But now i just need to go and find enough seeds to hopefully plant in all of these spots which is quite a lot of spots but pam service craft does have hundreds of different crops so hopefully all of this will be put to good use i’m going to go and collect a

Bunch of seeds off camera the seeds come from things like this on the ground they’ll randomly drop seeds sometimes all right everyone there has been a huge transformation here and i just want to show you guys around i have basically landscaped all of my biome area besides where i’m going to build the

City and i think it came out super cute it looks like a little overgrown bamboo forest full of mystery and beautiful lighting and i’m excited to show you around the path so over here i have my my farmland over on that side of the map and

I have planted a bunch of fruit trees like a little orchard around here so you’ll be seeing a lot of fruit trees that i can utilize for pam’s harvest craft food later so we’re going to take a little walk if we go this way you can see the farmland on the left

This is all farmland all different kinds of crops in there and i didn’t fill the whole thing up i did get pretty close to filling up the whole field but there’s just so many seeds i’ve literally just been basically spamming the seeds as they grow and then replanting as i landscape the area

And if we go this way down the path this is where i’m going to build a bridge and it’s going to go over there and that’s where the city is going to start so we head back this way you can see i’ve littered a bunch of flowers all around the place

If you use slabs like this it makes the pads look and feel more seamless and we come and take a right we go straight ahead and on the right there’s more farmland i put some rocks in and if we keep going you’ll see some more farmland

And i’ve added these fairy lights in and i think they make it look so cute and mystical around here i really really enjoy that touch and we take a right and we’re going to follow this path all the way down to the left there will be more farmland

That i haven’t quite filled in yet and this is going to be another path that heads straight towards the village that we’re going to be making ourselves so that bridge was that i want to make is going to be right over there but you can also come this way as well

So if we head back this way you’ll notice my wizard tower on the right side right there it looks pretty cute from over here i really like that and we can take a left and then follow this back a little ways and we can take a right

And i kind of made the middle part have most of the fruit trees kind of like just a little orchard like i said earlier and if we take a right we’ll head right over to My blacksmith and then there was one other little path that we could take right over here and this heads right over to our house and so everything’s hooked up in a circle and i think it came out super cute there’s still a lot more detail i can add to this place

Like more benches and rocks i tried not to make everything super super tall grass i left a little bit of kind of open space so i can add probably some more little details around here but i think everything turned out super pretty and at night like look how mystical this place is

Like this is so beautiful i really wanted to show everyone what my map looks like from above at night it looks so cool with how lit up it is on the pathways it’s really really pretty i just wanted to give you guys a little look at what my mini map kind of looks

Like full screen i think it looks really cool you can see all the paths that i put out and all of this is my farmland i think that’s really amazing looking and this is the elemental craft area my little altar my blacksmith area my wizard tower and that’s

I just think it looks so cool i’m excited to keep going and soon up here is where i’m going to have the whole village town city thing that i want to make if anyone wants to know how much i’ve explored this is how much i’ve explored so far

Spawn was way down here if you remember so the next thing i want to do today is get into mana and artifice and i do not know how to do it at all so we’re gonna have to figure out how to craft the book that we need and figure it out from there

So to start manna and artifice i’ve been looking for a village who sells the starting book so i could get started with it and on on my adventures i have found three way stones look how lucky this is two of them are right here i’ve been trying to find these

For like three weeks and i’m getting so lucky on this adventure right now you guys this is going to make traveling so much easier i’ll be able to just teleport but i do believe it takes your experience to teleport but still it’s really nice so i’m gonna go and keep looking for

A village that will be able to sell me the mana and artifice book what have i stumbled upon these pillagers are trying to take out this this little village oh maybe they’re moving on that’s right pillagers move along nothing to see here i honestly have never seen this before they are all just

Gathered right around in the middle right here What does that mean this if i ring a bell does that mean to go inside the house anyone wants to know how i get so much bone meal for my uh grass growing purposes i just use these bone blocks i find gives you lots of bone meal

You guys i just found a mine shaft sticking out right here in a meadow how weird i really want to explore it but i’m not really i’m not really here to explore the mine shaft all right everyone i finally found this guy and it has taken so long to find the village

Where he’s located so i have to give him six ventium ingots so i’m just gonna go and mine right now actually you know what i’m gonna head home with one of my waistbands and i’m gonna actually block this guy in so i’ve blocked the mana and artifice

Villager in here i’m going to use one of my waste stones to teleport back home smell up some ingots for him and then trade with him to get the book so what you need to do is you need to take the ventium dust and place it with iron

To make a ventium coated iron and then you need to smelt that you need to smelt this to get the ventium ingots okay i believe i have enough ingots so what we’re going to do is we’re going to head back to the village using the waste stone and

Trade with him to use the waste stone all you have to do is right click on it and then click where you want to go and here you are and i can trade with him for the six ventium ingots and get the codex so now that we have the codex arcana

We can start mana in artifice i’m gonna keep him blocked in just in case i need something else as you hold the book in your hands you feel compelled to open it you skim through a few pages and before you know it hours have gone by with you reading in

Depth your mind has been open and you feel the currents of magical energy swirly around you you have unlocked the secrets of the arcane oh and you can see up in the top left of my screen i now have a bar of some kind it looks like some

Kind of mana or level bar which is really cool now we can open it up and we can look inside and see what we can do with it now that we’re home we’re gonna head over to my wizard tower and we’re gonna set up a little area and some chests

For amana and artify stuff so we have it all kind of in the same area all right so we have the book open and we’re going to take a peek and see what we’re able to do so the book says the first thing that we need to do

Is make the oculus which is a piece of glass ventium dust and some ingots so we’re going to make that first just casually waiting for all of my ingots to smell all right this is the crafting recipe for the oculus one glass two iron ingots and a ventium dust

Wow this thing looks amazing i have no idea what it does but it looks so cool when i click on it it tells me that i’m tier one i have to complete seven of the nine tasks to advance to the next tier i have to cast a spell complete a ritual

Craft a mana weaver wand craft a mana weaving altar i have to spell with complexity 10 or more craft an inscription table graph something at a mana weaving altar draw a mana weaving pattern reach magic level 15. so it seems like i have a lot of things

To do to progress through this mod there’s a sorcery tab which looks like it tells you what kind of spells you can make at tier one i’m definitely really interested in this light spell because i’m always trying to find different ways to light my area it looks like there’s a bunch of

Different rituals that can be done i’m not sure what they do it looks like these are the mana weave patterns which i’m not really sure what that means yet and this is the mana wave crafting stuff looks like we can make different kinds of weapons a some silk then there’s something called rune

Scribing which i’m guessing is how we make different pieces of armor then there’s something called rune smithing and an enchantment tab all right so it looks like the oculus is how we progress through this mod along with this book um basically our mana will regenerate after we’re done casting spells

The higher level we are the faster our mana regenerates and there’s also other types of things we could create to make our generation faster i guess in this mod you have to choose a faction there were three factions demons fairies and ancient wizards each faction had different qualities and things they could do

And once you pick one it said you cannot choose a different one and it actually says that once you pick a faction the enemy factions will send assassins after you and it’s very dangerous so that’s a really interesting mechanic it looks like we’re going to need a material called shimmerite and that

It’s easily found within emerald oars i honestly haven’t even found an emerald ore yet so that’s going to be really rare the other thing was the ventiamore which we found a lot of and we kind of used already and then there’s a few different flowers in the world

That we’re probably going to need to use to craft with so it looks like the first thing we need to do is try casting a spell but in order to cast a spell it says that i need to make an inscription table so i need to gather three books a piece of carpet

Two slabs and two planks so i’m gonna go ahead and make that all right so you definitely need to have purple carpet in the middle it can’t be any other color of carpet and here’s the inscription table we can pop it down right here and see what it does

Oh that’s a really cool animation i love that so it looks like we can add what kind of spells we want to make we can use touch yourself i’m going to try making a lighting spell with touch it looks like what we need are three different resources

Up here i’m not sure what this stuff is but i’m gonna have to figure it out and it looks like it will go right up in here and then it looks like it also says i need these resources as well so i’m gonna have to figure out how to make all these

So to make this arcanus ink i need to have purified ventium dust but to have purified phantium dust i need arcane ash which means i need to take this arcane compound and put it in this forge which i have happening right now nothing’s happened with it yet and i think my shaders are

Making this look a little funny oh i think it’s done perfect okay so we have hurricane ash and to make purified ventium dust all we have to do is combine the arcane ash the ventium dust and any kind of mana and artifice flower so i could make three of those

So now i just need to grab an ink sac a glass bottle and another arm so a quick way to get these om flowers or these sarah blossom flowers is to just use bone meal all right so you just need your purified ventium dust um glass bottle ink sac and your sarah

Blossom to make the arcanist ink so to make the vellum ingredient all you need to do is place a cauldron add some water and you just right click in the cauldron with some leather and that will make the vellum it looks like the arcanus ink has a durability bar

So that’s probably why they aren’t stacking i clicked this button and it did something and now i have this spell recipe touch light it looks like i’ll need to gather up the following reagents for the ritual of arcana two glowstone dust a feather two torches a clay pentium dust infused silk

And two mana focuses i’ve made these two i believe i have some clay in the torches and the feather i’ll have to make the silk and i need to go get some glowstone dust from the nether which i not really explored yet so it looks like to get the silk we need

We need to start mana weaving it looks like we need a mana weaving a wand and possibly this projector so this is how you make the wand bentium does two ingots and two sticks all right so all you need to make the mana weaving altar is a bucket or pieces of obsidian

And two stones to make an infused silk i need to put a string a mystic focus and a piece of wool into this mana weaving altar so it looks like what we need to do is place the string the focus and the wool on top of this mana weaving alter

And then we’ll need to look at our book it says we need to draw a triangle circle square triangle and we do that with our wand i believe so let’s try it out so i made the triangle in the air and it put a triangle here so now i need a circle

And i thought it was a square you can just like right click on it to get rid of it okay it worked so there we go we got our piece of silk that’s actually super super cool that you can just draw things in the air with your wand

So it looks like you need to craft some wizard chalk and we’re gonna have to put this pattern on the ground with our spell recipe in the middle so that’s what i’m gonna try to work out right now all right it looks like i have this all set up right

And luckily the wizard tower i made is basically perfect dimensions for this lucky okay so the book told me to start the ritual i need to use a purified ventium dust in the middle and now it’s going to show me exactly where i need to put my ingredients at

All right i have placed everything down than i need to and now it says to start the ritual to use another purified fentium dust oh and you can see it’s going oh wow i do have to draw that so it looks like there’s a triangle so i’m going to try Drawing the triangle Oh you do have to do this This is so hard to trace and there it is it’s done wow that was super cool what is that there’s like an effect in my hand oh it must be the lifestyle there it is so i used it so i lit up my whole tower using this light spell and i

Ended up getting to level 15 which was the last thing i needed to do to advance my tear it says the last thing i need to do is rest in bed and meditate on what i’ve learned and then i will level up alright so it says for tier 2

I need to complete a 2-2 ritual craft of magic broom craft a mana crystal craft a mana crystal fragment craft a spell with complexity 15 or more craft an unfired rune plate reach level 30 in magic rune forge a ruin and runescribe a rune pattern
