To Asgaard – Dungeon Diving at Last : Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons Lp Ep #5 Minecraft 1.12

Hello again welcome back to Asgard and welcome back to roguelike adventures and dungeons or rad so since last episode I haven’t done a time I’m trying not to go off without you guys but our little farm area that we’ve been working on it needs deck

Horse so bad but I have expanded out you can see I got more wood seeds most of these have been from the 5% chance to get extra seeds most of them and then we have in fruit and well in theory I’m over here and then if we go up here I’ve

Started working on another tier and then there’s gonna be another tier over there but over here we have dirt seeds okay and I did a bad thing I went off and basically used up all of my wheat seeds I have no weed seeds I can’t plant wheat

And wheat seeds do not drop from grass in this back which is fine there’s other ways that we can go about getting them but at the moment I have no seeds to my name so I kind of messed up there but today we’re gonna go out and do some

Exploring and chances are I will find some more wheat seeds and I’m going to plant them proper this time and get some wheat going even if it’s not a permanent location now one thing that I do want to do before we head out is I want to take our wand

Our apprentice source or a wand and I want to take this one storage upgrade and we’re going to apply it so right now we can store a thousand mana now we can store 1150 mana okay and then we’re gonna go ahead and take I’m gonna go ahead and just take ten magic crystals

We’ll go ahead and just fully fill this thing up we’ll add that and there we go our wand is now filled up because we are going to want that for exploration and then let me also grab a stack of cobble I’ve emptied out my bags and stuff this

Is like some stuff that we may need while we’re exploring – the wizards handbook I doubt I’m gonna need that while I’m exploring but I like to keep it on me oh I’m not too worried about that skeleton okay we are going to strike out I actually found a couple

Things over on this direct so we’re gonna start off over here when I was kind of running around I was breaking grass you’ll notice there’s like a lack of grass over here and I discovered that I wasn’t getting any wheat seeds so right here is an ambush trap and underneath here we have

What do we have we have poison bomb wizard’s hat and omega sword 2001 durability that’s not bad a wand siphon upgrade smoke bomb a master tome of Arcana and an apprentice tome of Arcana take it that’s actually gonna complete a quest magic crystals and then yeah this

Stuff okay let us turn in that quest Oh Enderman I will take him I would like to kill him oh come on because we can never have come on why do you keep doing this okay well he’s gone I guess anyways we completed that quest so some wizardry required this quest

Right here for the Masters tome we get a rare mega loot case for that it’s kind of nice and that leads into the master wand Wow three gold coins for that and a spell book for a master level spell then there’s a healers wines that yeah they

Wants to get master versions it looks like we get Scrolls of identification there’s a trick-or-treat bag silver coin magic bag ocean bag and trick-or-treat bag okay and I’m actually thinking we’re gonna have different wings of our build that are going to be dedicated different types of magic so because I guess

Technically there is like eight schools of magic if you count like the no classification which technically does have its own spells and stuff so I think I’m gonna do eight wings that are all different magic in different rooms and stuff or different segments there’s a couple ways I’m thinking about doing

That so I haven’t decided for sure let’s take a look at our rare mega Luke Ace we got some kind of a bow a longbow speed modifier 1.68 power multiplier 1.7 not bad it’s actually got extra reach on that what’s nice sword actually I will probably end up using that okay but

We’ll dump that stuff into there for right now I’m saying I could make a master wand because we have that one that’s upgraded and then I also came across this and I did check and it’s not a mimic chest it’s just a chest setting out here in the middle of the wilderness

It was actually really difficult for me not to peek and see what was in there I haven’t peaked yet so I don’t know but it’s just sitting here so weirdest thing and inside we got a chest pet okay we’ll take it you shall take it and then we got a bunch of

Nuggets as well but and the chest paps we can’t open this up and basically we have a chest that goes around with us so it’s just another furry little storage item okay so what I want to do I want to do a bit of exploration today we’re gonna continue on exploring not just

Those chests that’s basically what we’re going to do all episodes just explore and what I would really like to do is tackle maybe tackle a roguelike dungeon is kind of is kind of what I’m in the mood for because there’s a pretty good chance that will come across wheat seeds well in there

I need wheat seeds because I can’t do any more magical or mystical agriculture until I get weak wheat seeds and I really want to get nature essence I think that’s gonna be the next one that I do because I can make lily pads and I

Can make grass that’s why I got the dirt and so I can make grass without having to get silk touch because I’m gonna want I’m gonna want a lot of grass to overhaul all of this so and actually before I leave I see a wood plant that I

Would like to break and for the record we don’t have to worry about look at all that we have lots of wood basically because three of those that’s 16 for every three wood essence so let’s say we’re pretty good on wood at the moment but let’s head off down the hill

Here I believe there’s some roguelike dungeons off in this direction I should have made a portable crafter before I left but there is a quest for that I’ve been meaning to do it I just I keep forgetting to do it oh you know what right here

As much ahead over kind of back to where our whole base was right here is a dimensional door so we’ll check that out that looks like we’re gonna fall in the void if we go there is what it kind of looks like whoo there’s a let me just

Say here let’s do that oh that’s a sticky piston oh no this is a speed challenge because here comes the lava I was gonna make it way more difficult all right I did not even realize I just thought it was water and I had to go up

It no way I don’t know what that is but I don’t think I want it okay I’m just have to work my way up this I think it’s gonna take a minute because I pretty much have to wait for the lava to despawn before I can like make progress

Hopefully there wasn’t like a chest that it burned or something cuz that’s all fabric of reality know what that is don’t like it wow there’s the exit yeah I guess we had to like just run up here and get up here like faster than me then

The lava came down I’m assuming so let’s do that’s how do I open this how to open this door no I just broke it and I should have made a redstone lever okay well I guess that one’s a bust I’m gonna leave I think I think I’ve broken everything so let’s

Just get out of here I’m gonna go ahead and grab the US and we’re gonna close this rift off there we go rift will close soon okay well let’s head over here I’m looking for a roguelike dungeon alright I think this is a roguelike dungeon I’m going to

Assume that it is I’m gonna dump that stuff into the air so we’ll try this isn’t a roguelike dungeon what is this [Laughter] um I do not know ah it’s a dungeon of some sort oh my gosh oh my gosh there’s like stuff everywhere okay this is just a big like super dungeon

It would seem blaze powder on thing um we’ve got a creeper spawner back in here somewhere I think gosh oh my gosh there’s just spawners everywhere and there’s no like there’s no like safe place to start from there’s just it’s just go time there’s got to be some sort

Of a spider spawner somewhere yeah there’s just there’s just spawners everywhere at least the XP in here is good from breaking all these spawners but there’s an Enderman over there what is this magic powder from dungeon tactics I know a bit about dungeon tactics but I don’t know everything

About dungeon tactics a lot of items I don’t I’m not too familiar with oh my gosh I gotta work through this treasure slime here I gotta make more torches like as soon as I get like to a resting spot I’ve got to make more torches what’s in here what

Do we got here bottles of enchanting and iron helmet I’m just gonna grab everything and then whenever I get topside I can I can break it down and figure out what I want to keep what I don’t want to keep that kind of stuff let’s just make a whole big hoard of

Torches here and I might as well go ahead and just break the chests free chests and make it a little bit easier to figure out where I’m being there’s a tool bag spearmint 1:15 that’s a Twilight forest food let’s back to you this is just like the most confusing

Mass I’ve ever seen flying fish stone sort of a sharpness or the looting here is not grant but it’s plentiful what come back you I might need you if you’ll drop some wings okay I’ve been over in this direction this is where I knocked that creeper down into that hole

Oh my gosh oh my gosh seriously okay I’m going to say I’m not for sure if there’s gravestones but I’m going to assume that there is because it says your most recent death was day or so I’m just gonna I’m gonna head out probably know the smartest idea because I didn’t bring

Any tools or nothing but we’re just gonna we’re just gonna head back and go straight I was pretty close to where we actually came me and out so it’s I don’t think is gonna be that bad there’s some kind of a creeper there has to be a creeper spawner up there somewhere

It’s dropping creepers down on me I think and that is our very first death that’s deaf number one right there but I didn’t think about it but I’ve actually got some crystal harp shards I need to grab those let me I hear a creeper

Or maybe it was a spider the job I heard something drop and hit the ground but I hear a spider carrying on over there next to me so don’t just soon it was probably him okay let’s uh let’s head back yeah there’s like oh my gosh creeper I don’t like this place

Oh there’s a loot chest yay but at least we know that there’s gravestones oh that’s good I guess oh but I lost all that XP and I had a bunch oh that’s a spider okay but I see a creeper gosh this dungeons like pretty decently legija I gotta say I wasn’t expecting it

To be that much I thought it was just gonna be like a couple spawners underground and a couple chests I don’t like that solder spawner up there I need you I need to deal with this creeper one though okay this is like hands down the worst room possible oh it’s right there

Okay yay okay we took out the creeper spawner all right I need to deal with that spider spawner though that’s over here there we go oh my gosh okay now is there anything in this little area up here no it’s just a cavern section and a whole lot of spiders there spawned oh

Okay what about in this direction I’m actually not able to use my my magic as much as I would have wanted to oh that was a lag spikes fault that was actually not even my fault oh man okay let me uh I’ll take the Jade sword

With me and I grab a set of this like junk armor because it’s pretty dangerous down there and I’m gonna head back that’s death number two I did get jumped by that skeleton but I don’t think that death was entirely my fault because that

Like spike kind of got me to but it was still kind of my fault on the plus side though this place isn’t as dangerous as it was cuz stuff starting to actually get lit up and spawners are getting broken and all that good stuff so skeletons go on

Okay well let me let me put some do some organizing here I’m actually gonna switch out swords just to make sure that doesn’t break on me cuz it’s getting it’s not super low but it is starting to kind of get low ish alright let’s see what we’ve got cook mutton and get all

My food for like food variety from these I guess I mean the load in here is not great but it is I am getting some useful stuff though so I can’t I can’t totally complain let me actually remove this and this ship Oh see this is some of that

I’ve explored some of it I haven’t it’s a a map bug Oh chain a book of protection and another loot chests I like those loot chests I do cuz they have some good stuff that can come out of those oh there’s another loot chests and a record bag those

Record bags are nice if you like to collect the records because you can actually get like all the records pretty easily from that nothing back here oh I’m kind of ready to get topside and like go through my spoils a lot of this this is like junk armor and stuff I’m

Just probably gonna toss but I actually think we’re getting to the nitty-gritty of this dungeon yeah I’m actually going to toss out all the leather armor and then and honestly I’ll probably end up tossing out all the high on armor as well before it’s all said and done

Because I’m just I’m not gonna be wearing armor probably like it all like not metal armor there’s spawner right there jeweled battle-ax with bane of arthropods story we’ll take it oh my gosh this is in fact part of this dungeon I hear spiders and oh my gosh

This dungeon just keeps going forever oh no oh my gosh oh my gosh I’m dying no come on skeleton you know what I should do even though I hate it because it blocks like half my screen but I should grab one of these just so I can block because

Archer skeletons are nasty oh god I hate cave spiders luckily there’s the spawner for it I’m going to just leave that area for right now only got a mother spider with a ton of buffs on her there we go some mineshaft that connects into really connects them to something I

Don’t think it’s a mineshaft I’m not sure what it is but anyways and on the plus sides we won’t have to worry about chests anytime soon I’m not looking for a mine it’s moment I hear you alright I’m gonna leave that room alone I hear skeletons I don’t want to mess

About even though I think this direction connects over to it I could be wrong but there’s a chest okay oh now this is an Enderman spawner I’m going to mark this because depending that actually might just be useful to have around and maybe set up a mob farm here you know like

Long-term man I wish auto jump would stop turning on I keep turning it off and it keeps turning this is weird because you remember I locked this the other episode but also Auto jump it’s like my my options keep just like randomly changing or something I don’t

Know I don’t know what’s causing that ah there we go you da what are these stairs go I’m gonna yeah no oh that means I got to get some way site and wait for this poison to go away I hate poison so much oh there’s two witches there’s got to be

A witch spawner around here Oh God I don’t know yeah I hear more witches somewhere anyways what’s in this chest see I mainly just finding like food and stuff it’s not the most exciting loot so I do think we’re gonna we’re gonna bounce out of here here in just a moment

Not to mention I think we’ve pretty much explored like most everything at this point so I do want to check out where these stairs go though so let’s see wonder if these take us up to the surface if there’s like two entrances to this or something because this looks

Like a roguelike dungeon staircase but that’s not a roguelike dungeon that’s down there at least not one that I’ve ever been unless they’re just like drastically changed in this pack or something okay it takes us right up here okay but I’m pretty happy with our exploration of

This place so I’m just gonna like seal that in and I’m gonna do the same thing to the one that is to the north of us here that little I’m gonna put a little block a dart there so I know that I’ve kind of pretty much already explored it

I guess I don’t know but depending we might have got something good in those loot chests because you’re witches okay I’m gonna head back home is what I’m gonna do I think my armor is okay on durability I need to make a boat just what I need to

Do but oh by the way I just ate one of these experiment 115 and I got the mystery man advancement but also it is every five foods you get two hearts in this pack he is the spice of life thing so it’s not it’s not like on septic where it’s

10 foods per hearts and then later on it’s like 50 foods per heart it’s not like that so even though it doesn’t have like Pam’s we’re still gonna have food variety to go through and we can get our heart boost that way so five foods really isn’t all that bad because I’ve

Got plenty in my bag you know between like steaks cooked chickens and all that stuff right in the flesh I’ve never eaten I mean it shouldn’t be too bad to get our hearts up like there’s no like big food mod but there is a lot of different foods within the pack between

Different mods because like dungeon tactics out adds a bunch twilit for us adds quite a few between lands adds a bunch like a bunch in between lands so and I believe trumpet craft adds quite a few aether I think adds a few so I think

We’ll be alright um okay so we are back home again home again home again let’s go ahead and open up our food bags we got standard rations questionably edible we’ve got record bags with far discs in them tool bags golden hoe and a gilded axe siphon efficiency for in live

Steel – Wow okay and then we got potion bags and stumping off some stuff every time I pop those it’s like vanilla tweaks ran some problems I don’t know if it’s because I’m just popping them really really quickly like that I’m just like spamming the button but very well

It could be and then we’ve got more food bags okay then we got solstice gifts it looks like I got an apple a mince pie and a firework and some cooked chicken I think that seems like vanilla tweaks is the one that’s always having the issue

Like always I don’t know what it is but anyways we got loot chest with Wow a golden case bone there’s a spell book apprentice level a scroll of some sort smoke bomb scroll of identification a novice bail divers boots with aqua affinity and depth Strider three I don’t

Need a boat anymore and then a bunch of like sorted things here awesome that alone was like worth everything it really really was and those especially I like those to say the least and let’s see what’s in the case here we got a dark bolt tosser bonus

Speed 7% has levitating and blinding Wow it’s kind of nice I gotta say it’s a pretty good bow anyways and then next up in our next loot chests we’ve got bones we got a hawk apprentice Thoma volcano and we got a spill book some kind of novice bail and a basic case magic

Tether which these are basically like they’ll warp you back home I should have actually taken those with me I’m gonna take some of those next time we go out or vanilla tweaks ran into a problem what do you know the Swift gold digger mining speed of seven level one 256 XP

Quality is broken alright and then lastly we’ve got vanilla tweaks ran into a problem necromancer robes – 20 % of necromancy cost we’ve got a novice spell novice spell an advanced spell another novice spell a bunch of bones awesome that was a pretty good haul I have to say like so

Good I can’t hold everything just spell books going all over the place look at this oh okay so oh man I wonder what all these spells are and do I want to put on necromancer robes instead of just regular robes these don’t give me how to boost so yeah we’re gonna wear

Necromancer robes now these boats these are my new boat boats and they’re gonna go right up there okay give me a second let me sort through some of this stuff real quick and I’ll be back here in just a moment okay I’ve got everything sorted except spell books I’m holding on to

Those and I think we should take our wand this one right here this is an advanced one and let’s find out what all these spells do because we did get like apprentice spells we got novice and then we got an advanced spell Thayer let’s go ahead and see what the novice ones do

First so we’ll just apply that out and we’ll use this one it’s kind of our testing wand we’ll go out here to do this just to make sure that one is ignite I’m glad I didn’t start burning things and then we’ve got smoke bomb nice we’ve got some and zombie what

That’s like necromancy right there this one ha looks like it turns on me if I hit it that’s arc and then we got okay I think we got two of the same one in here we got ignite arc okay we got two ignites that’s what we did okay so this

One can actually get sold don’t need yet so I’m just gonna put it in here whenever we come across a wizard we’ll just sell it these are all novice books okay I’m going to dump those in there and I’m assuming arc is probably lightning as a lightning spell and then

We got now we’re starting get some cool spells this necromancy looks like it only stays out for 30 seconds smoke bomb it says launch is a smoke bomb in the direction you’re pointing which explodes on impact releasing smoke in blinding nearby creatures for a short time Wow

Okay and then ignite I’m sure it just starts fire since the target on fire for 10 seconds also works like flint and steel not bad okay well let’s dump this into there and let’s do one two and we’re gonna see what these whoops okay if it automatically pull them out

Awesome we’re gonna see what these do these are advanced and apprentice spells it makes a really cool sound this one summons snow golem it’s kind of useful actually not to mention it’s free snow so we can just spawn snow in our base like that without having to

Actually you know go out and find snow oh there’s a festive creeper I don’t want him Oh actually let me I wonder if that’s like a healing spell maybe maybe that’s why it makes that sound let’s uh let’s take a little bit of damage and see I’m gonna find something tall and

Jump off of it okay so here we go scared the spell spectral pathway is that what it is because it still shows this like weird thing ah that’s what it does it’s weird though because it won’t unlock the name of the spell it just leaves it as that

That’s cool though that’s really really cool I’m gonna have to load out my wand with like a bunch of like combat stuff now I won’t yeah so basically spectral relay is just a bridge that I can just cast and say I’m assuming that’s a lass and snow snow

Golem dies it’s kind of nice okay don’t really tell me much of anything there I’m assuming that eventually this is going to de-spawn yeah that one over there is they spawned okay I wonder how far this goes like if I was and can’t do angles and stuff like

If I was to cast okay it looks like it goes what wouldn’t you 14 blocks is how far went that’s not too bad 15 blocks 15 blocks is how far I went so maybe around 15 16 something like that that’s not bad to be able to just cast I

Mean it’s like botanas like spectral spectral pathways it’s pretty nice I gotta say I’ll definitely take it I think that’s the best thing about like going out exploring is whenever you get back you get to check out all your new spells one thing I do want to look at is

Let’s grab say I’ll put this away I don’t know if there’s a way that I can like unlock that so I can actually like read about it but let’s grab this master tone let’s go ahead and upgrade this to master rank so it’s got 25,000 or 2500

Mana storage and we should have got a quest complete there we go a master wizard and we get a spell book some kind of a master spell we get three gold coins okay I want to equip this master spell I want to I have to see what this

Is I just have to know so we’ll go ahead and apply that and let’s see what we got font of mana what’s this do then I have to equip some of those better like battlespace font of manna it’s a master level spell a hundred mana cost it’s a healing spell

We were filled with an intense magical energy appearing to emanate from the center of the extract from the journal were forgotten mage the rest of the pages been burned away what gives me fault of mana all right I’m assuming it’s a big heal spell like that lasts

For like 30 seconds or something let’s uh let’s go up here let’s jump off this thing and let’s see what happens if I cast it I’ve got enough yeah I’ve got enough man in there stay here let me yeah I can’t leap that leap spells and all that great I’m

Probably gonna get rid of it but okay let’s jump off no it doesn’t it’s not region what do you five we’ve got nine sixty nine fortieth steel that’s thinking maybe it like lets us cast anything we want to it for like thirty seconds like with no mana cost I have no

Clue I’m not for sure what font of mana does it’s a healing spell but he gives it to us for like thirty seconds I don’t know what he does we did level up quite a bit and then we lost levels then we leveled up again I’m gonna go ahead and take I’m gonna

Take harvest efficiency and there another harvest efficiency puts us down to four levels but that gives us 20% to get extra 20% chance to get extra crops on harvest and I wouldn’t mind having that honestly cuz I am you know I’m doing so much magical crops and I’m assuming that

It’ll work with magical crops now I do know that I don’t know I don’t know where we’re at on the episode tough right now but I know that there’s a couple spells here yeah this is some a nice right summon storm elemental storm elementals two gold coins ice rates only one and

Then there’s oak flesh which I’m going to assume makes us like buffs our defense I’m gonna go ahead and spend our three gold coins I’m gonna get this and I’m also going to get maybe storm elemental it’s a master level spell let’s do it I want to see what a storm

Elemental is like so a quest complaint oak flesh and we got storm elemental also okay so let’s throw this into here I’m gonna I’m gonna set up both of these both of these wands it’s going apply those and let’s see we’ve got three 23 in here right now

That’s oak so it gives us a resistance to for 30 seconds that’s nice how much how much does it cost it’s a healing spell improves the caster’s damage resistant for 30 seconds it’s 20 mana cost that’s not bad that is not bad at all now I just need

Like a good region or something and then we have that is the storm elemental I bet he wrecks face 37.0 one health master costs a hundred man a storm elemental an ancient manifestation of the elements it can hardly contain the raw power churning within it the wizards

Guide to arcane beings volume one okay okay we are becoming like an all-out mage at this point do I know any of these that’s a scroll of smoke bomb so I’m thinking about changing from the apprentice war even though I did bump up the storage on and I’m not too worried about that

Because eventually it’s gonna be a master wand that’s sorcery potency I’m gonna grab this wand of embers and I’m gonna grab okay that’s all the ones I’ve got I don’t need that one that’s just an extra let’s go ahead and I’m gonna redo my spells here and I think what I’m

Gonna do is I’m gonna put all my spells onto just two wands for right now eventually while they have three but um we’re gonna put them all on to the inverse wound because I feel like I can trust him burst and then we’ll have our master wand here for like our big spells

You know and I’m thinking we’ll have like on the inverse one it’s gonna be like our battle spells and – Oh crusher because that’s well actually that’s an apprentice pale like I put oak flash on there yeah let’s do oak flesh so we’re gonna do like magic missle ignite arc

And then we’ll do smoke bomb oak flash like bounce I think that should be good on that one and then on the other one I’m gonna do like fonts of mana I’m gonna put it on there I don’t really know what it does some storm elemental and that’s our bridge spell and then

We’ll have like some and snow golems so maybe if I’m going to the nether I’ll have that available and then let’s also take like I don’t know I feel like if it was a permanent light it would be better but yeah we’ll go with that so our master wand it’s gonna have all

Of these okay we were all set with some new some nifty new spells we actually came out like a bandit on spells which I am I’m very pleased about and there we go sampling their five varieties of food to gain another two hearts so we’re up

To 28 health as our maximum that’s not bad at all I’m gonna start trying to eat through all these different food varieties that I’ve got kind of building up in here because we could definitely use the extra hearts so okay well anyways I think it’s about wrapping up point for

This episode and you know we ran around that dungeon pretty much the whole time and then we got new spells and I’m really excited about it the honnestly spell casting is gonna be so much fun it’s going to be so much fun next episode when we come back there’s a

Pretty good chance we might go out exploring again because I feel like I still have the exploration bug and I want to I want to go check stuff out either that or we might do a little bit of building work around the base one of the two I haven’t decided just kind of
