Merged with 1.20.20 the update with crawling cameras villager changes and a whole lot more glad glad he’s everybody wearing for a massive update today we’re going to take a look at 25 of the biggest ones inside of it beginning with crawler at long last it’s here at this

Point now crawling is definitely not a new mechanic first entering experimental toggles like months and months and months ago finally add a long lasting side of this update though it’s not an experimental feature anymore if you want to crawl and like mine crawl and make a secret entrance anything like that well

Great news it’s on by default to pull it off all you really need here is a trap door hit the trap door hit the trapdoor again and boom now you’re crawling now there’s brand new crawling feature is a wonderful way to change your camera and speaking of change your camera the

Amazing slash camera command is also no longer experimental now look at this this command oh it has a whole lot to it there’s a a lot involved with this camera command if you’re looking to mess around with it a little bit run a command that looks something like that

And poof poof and move somewhere else to undo anything that you might have accidentally messed up run that command and it goes back next up for this update usually a good Minecraft update will add something new to the game or the inventory or change something but they can also remove

Things it’s all black and white if you look up obsessed inside of the creative inventory four months now you’ve been able to find stuff to do but unfortunately the only stew you’ll be able to find instead of this thing it’s gonna be mushroom soup rabbit stew that’s it that doesn’t change the

Worlds basically the biggest thing that’s changed here as you can see is like the layout going forward into the future 2030 and Beyond it looks so good we got big screenshots of the world and then we’ve got these little like uh highlighted boxes for what’s going on Creative survival experiment sliding

Over to Realms is a work in progress and servers the same exact thing top corner like all the way up here Lads you get a brand new friends menu but it’s not a work too navigating yourself to the next spot in the menu that’s gonna be Worlds

By creators we tap that and we get like those pre-made worlds and then of course over here is pretty self-explanatory you know how that goes now as soon as you tap edit on a world unfortunately you’re kind of sent back to the old UI so long

Story short this whole menu thing it’s a work in progress but one day eventually the minions will probably end up looking something like this everywhere Lads speaking of things that are beautiful and there will also be under construction for a long time shaders oh my gosh shaders they’re actually kinda

Here Minecraft and Bedrock Edition 1.20.30 an update that will go down in history this is the very first update that foolish supports shaders on most platforms is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition to be able to check this one out first things first you’re going to need to be

Able to find a Shader pack somewhere the one that I’m running right here is poggy’s Shader pack an earlier version of it back on the main menu once you eventually find a Shader pack and import it to your game slide into settings scroll all the way down to global

Resources and it should be right here inside of your packs load up the world of your dreams with a Shader pack enabled and check things out like the Red Zone tours for example look at this thing it’s a horrid horns in the background oh my gosh I’m too distracted

To do anything the red light it’s real now these shaders are still definitely a work in progress but to be able to customize them a little bit more slide into video settings go all the way down to the bottom and then you have the section called deferred technical

That suddenly the bad Omen effect after that sometimes when you’re moving around your world you’ll accidentally move into a village with the bad Omen effect after moving into this poor unsuspecting Villages that is actually Loki kind of beautiful now once these Raiders pop in hopefully you’re able to find them somewhere

Because that’s a big part of the raid if you want to move it to the next part of the red you got to find the Raiders and take them out and then eventually you get to the next next part of the Ring after a couple waves witches will begin

To spawn and now now rides are gonna be a whole lot more difficult than before the witches should be a top priority they’ll heal the other Raiders if of course they exist flashback throwback to when we were talking about the menus we slid over to Realms and then we sold it over to

Servers this next change is one of the best changes of all time no joke for Realms and servers load up a realm a server anything with more than one player online and you know how it goes if you want to skip the night time then every single player

Needs to go all the way back over to their bed or a bed somewhere and sleep that is everyone used to have to be so check this out here are my friends let’s say I have three people online and this one represents me if I check out game rule players leaving percentage by

Default they’ll find that it’s set at 100. that means just like normal everyone has to jump into a bed to sleep if you lower that value though say to 50 then only half of us would need to jump into a bed to sleep you could also use

You got a new block and even more excitingly that new block it gave you brand new things that you’re able to craft enough so you should check it out the recipe unlocking when you make a world that’s going to be turned on slide into advanced settings and look down a

Little bit and eventually you’ll find a recipe unlocking right here if you don’t like the idea of wrestling and locking you can turn it off that’s gonna be how it was before still on the topic of recipes a relatively confusing gamer game rule do limited crafting by default this is

Going to be set to false but if you set it to true if you haven’t unlocked a recipe yet you’re not able to craft to be honest for the most part inside of a normal survival Minecraft this is not a game rule you’re going to use it’s probably more for like map creators

Add-on creators things like that and finally last but not least for resume searching and a change that was actually just taken back from Minecraft Java edition if we go into this recipe book right here and start searching something let’s say t-o-r when I type Tor only things beginning with Tor are going to

The most iconic things in Minecraft and speaking of iconic the word icon the root of it the icons have been changed since okay look I realize this isn’t the most exciting one but preview yeah like looks like that if you’re inside the preview now and like your game Icon

It’ll be a grass one or a dirt one depending on what you’re playing too they updated yeah next up we’ve got a lot and it gets Advanced the most advanced thing in all of Minecraft the skulk sensor it’s got a bunch of updates there are now like 20

Brand new vibrations this thing can detect when I put on Armor right here it hears me but that’s been like that for a long time the new thing is when you take armor off it’ll also hear you another thing that I could never hear before is this move

When you throw an eye a bender if you’re not sneaking it’ll be able to hear you now it’s kind of interesting keep in mind that if you’re sneaking during any of these vibrations right here it shouldn’t really be able to hear you so the Eye of Ender but also bone meal they

Can hear that too now don’t worry don’t worry I’m not gonna sit and go through every single change instead here’s a list from the Minecraft Wiki these are all of the Brand’s new vibrations the skulk sensor and the calibrated skull sensor can hear as of this update

Back in the world of game rules and recipes we’ve got game rules recipes unlocked this is a brand new one by default it’s set to true however if I went ahead and set this thing to false and then after I set it to false I pick up something that I’ve never picked up

Before I’m not going to unlock any recipes pair this one with that limited crafting game room and if you haven’t unlocked a recipe you won’t be able to craft it ever you know in a way the 1.20.30 update it’s kind of like the beginning of a video where Graphics update if we

Slide into settings we have brand new settings that you never had before now these settings might just be on Windows 10 I’m not 100 sure if we go ahead and scroll all the way down to like where we see the Shader stuff from before we’re gonna have vsync right there

Believe vsync was new but at the least this one is 100 new improved input response if you turn this one on which I have it on the game seems to definitely run a little bit smoother than it did before I might be crazy though maybe not but while we’re on technical changes

Let’s stay there for a quick second the flatten the technical thing that technically began I think literally years ago at this point inside of this update it continues even more the stain to Glass and glass concrete and concrete powder stained glass panes and even hardened clay they’ve all been flattened

They have their own black IDs now gameplay wise nothing about these things has been changed it’s all technical more like back end or behind the scenes changes I’d also kind of notably hardened clay has been fully removed from the game for years this stuff was called hard and Clay then it was changed

To terracotta and now finally even inside of the code Southern Kata next up we’ve got some controversial ones in fact probably the most controversial but great news if you hate them they’re not real inside of this beautiful menu when creating a new world inside of this update slide down to

Experiments and then you’ve got something called the Villager trade rebalancing half of the Villager trade rebalancing is in the game now we’ll start with the one that more people think is bad and then talk about the good one so first things first we need to get a villager and get this villager

To go to work at the Lector when the Villager works with the lectern depending on the biome that it’s in it’s gonna only offer specific enchantments now now when it comes to the specific enchantments you’re going to want to refer to this chart right here if you’re

Inside of a desert biome any librarian villager will only be able to sell you fire protection Thorns or Infinity if you get it all the way up to a Max Level every single time it’ll sell you efficiency three and probably rip you off too wait a second on Minecraft

Bedrock it’s called The Swamp land oh that’s weird the swabland though that’s where we’re headed next to check out the biggest part of this change the main thing that’s effective with his new changes is mending The Mending trade has been removed from every single villager except master level swamp Librarians and

Once it hits all the way up to that max level at the end there you’re guaranteed mend but great news if you think that’s bad it’s not at all bad because arguably there is nothing wrong at all with this next change the wandering Trader if you flick that toggle on the librarian has

Changed and this guy has changed look at these trades right here we have different trades that we would have never seen before and it’ll buy stuff from me too now the big thing here is that it’s not going to actually be able to buy very many things

From you like one trade or something but still one trade is one Emerald I could then take that one emerald and flip it back into something like right away from the start maybe I want melons or something I don’t know well not a problem I can buy it just like that now

When it comes to the wandering Traders spawning mechanics everything like that it’s all exactly the same the only thing that has changed here is the trays that are going to be offered a super super interesting one is the fact that the wandering Trader sometimes very very

Rarely can sell you a pickaxe and then pickaxe will be enchanted another new one that we’re seeing here A bunch of times is this wood the wandering Trader can now sell you wood as well for specifically one Emerald you can get a couple logs hey overall in my opinion

These brand new wandering Trader changes are really really good like way better than they ever were before check that out invisibility potion right there all of the armor changes that we talked about in this video right here and the Cartographer one suit they have not made

It into this update quite yet they’ll be in the next one next up for this one I mentioned it before I’ll mention it again it feels like a setup for something maybe a little bit bigger coming in the future first up you know how it goes as soon as

You’re making Minecraft YouTube video it begins to rain inside of your world if you’re inside of a snowy biome though it’s a little bit more beautiful you’ll get snow now slowly because we’re at Minecraft Bedrock Edition by default snow is going to start the pile up it’ll layer it’ll be really really cool

Looking but if you’re a little bit impatient and you just want to see it happen a little bit faster raise your random tick Speed game roll up huh well I guess some updates come with bugs and that’s fine too on the bright side though snow layers they now work

Correctly like how they’re actually meant to you see as we start to pile up snow layers they get taller and taller and taller we talked about it in the members video that I made for 1.20.20 basically before it didn’t really work right when you would throw an item on it

Or even walking on some instances now it actually works right as you start to walk up snow layers or maybe drop items on them they’re gonna float correctly like a little bit higher gradually every single time next up it’s over the Minecraft Wiki for us because take a seat

188 blocks have been changed inside of this update that’s right almost 200 blocks have been changed from Deep Sleep to scaffolding to mud from ancient debris to all of that Brand’s new relatively bamboo wood Coral copper and even more yeah a lot of blocks mining speed or explosion resistance has been

Adjusted in the case of like most deep slate blocks and copper it’s gonna be harder to blow up now in the case of things like scaffolding and bamboo it’s gonna be much quicker to break now I recommend taking a look at all of the blocks on screen maybe pause a couple

Times and just take it all in because a lot has changed here so many blocks have been adjusted relatively minorly but but adjusted inside of this update the reasoning behind all of these changes is parody you see every one of the blocks that was changed and now matches Java exactly and then finally

Today last but not least change number 25 the marketplace if we slide into the marketplace and say picked up a pack like I don’t know secret lava base or something depending on what the creator of each pack wants you can now have random seats the thing that always comes

To mind for me with this one is let’s say a Hardcore Minecraft this hardcore mode pack right here previously would have always been on the same seat now if the Creator wanted to I don’t know if they did or not but they could make hardcore exist on any random world

Doesn’t matter for the long-term longevity of certain packs that change the fundamentals of survival and maybe even modded ones too this is a really really nice change it’s big and so that’s just about it at least for today Minecraft 1.20.30 if you can find a change inside
