1.15/1.16 Astral Sorcery Pt6 -Bit-By-Bit- Personal Attunement💫

Welcome to the mischief i’m valen and this is astral sorcery today i’m going to be talking about attunement that’s right self-attunement as well as the perks you can gain from that so as before in this one we are still covering the attunement chapter specifically we’re going to be covering starlight attunement

Personal attunement shifting stars ceiling perks and dynamism gems we might also cover a little bit extra in there but not too much i will be starting off however uh with one of the things that really tends to frustrate people with astral sorcery and i personally like it

Because it encourages you to make some of the items and that is like building structures this is by far in my opinion the largest structure it’s probably not the most complex but it is a very large area when you need 225 city marble to make this and this item here is very key

For getting yourself and your crystals attuned to specific constellations and of course you can switch it to you know two-dimensional you can change the different uh you know layers and stuff clicking on here and so on you can also see all the ingredients just by hovering over the little star

And it also will tell you uh typically if it’s crafted at an altar how much uh light is used but this is not crafted in an altar i mean the the one specific item this attunement alter item is which as it says here it needs a bit depending upon the different type you

Have but moving on from that i’m going to show you kind of a shortcut on how you can make this pretty darn fast and without having to run around too much either it will require the use of a formation wand which i’ve covered in the previous video if you’re unfamiliar with that i

Recommend you check out that video as i will not be covering it here now a few things you will need uh to know is one i am in creative so therefore my starlight charge is going to be infinite it will recharge quickly yours may vary but it shouldn’t vary too much

You will need at least one of each the different blocks that you will need to build with set out plus your inventory will need to be filled with all of the ingredients that you had on that list find yourself a big enough flat area that you can work with

And then i recommend just putting down a couple pieces of mismatching material if you’re in a grassy area obviously don’t use dirt because the grass will go over it but it’s important so that when you dig this out you can still see where the center is this is why you’re putting this down

Because it’s always very difficult to try and find this afterwards but if you break this one you now have a marker here that you can aim at while you’re over here now if you take your formation wand and you click on something or sneak click on something like city

Marble and you have enough in your inventory you’re going to want to also sneak click in the air so that it changes to this the horizontal plane and if you can’t see where it’s going because you’ve got so many of these in your inventory just aim without highlighting it in your hand

Then click and you’ve already got a huge amount now second to this you can use your wand again personally i like just doing this where i take a little bit of this and just run around do like a little diagonal two of the city marble and one of dirt

And this is basically going to do your outline of your entire altar it’s really simple and straightforward i think it’s fairly easy to actually remember and then you just change the mode of your wand because right now it’s still this massive plane just want to sneak click again until you

Get back to drawing line towards player and then you can just kind of stand back here and you can just draw the rest of the city marble run from one corner to the next and you’ve quickly got yourself set up with a whole bunch of city marvel 225 city marble just

Just like that in the square area that you need now the next part is going to be uh changing left click to just kind of clear your your wand from placing city marble and then sneak right click on the next item which is going to be the the art marble arch

And then you’re basically going to be doing the same thing just go over here and over here and you just kind of draw lines at this point it’s not that difficult you can even go so far as to go one out on each one and then you can draw each of the

Corners it’s it’s pretty basic and simple i mean you can do this by hand too if you really want but i find if you already have the the wand oops you might as well just do it and if you do too many of them i mean

It’s it’s no big deal you just kind of break it with a pick and get the the one or two back that you might have oopsed out of there like i said it might be quicker for you to actually place these ones on the corner but along the sides

It is very quick and easy to do that and i highly recommend that you just do exactly that now let’s see if i can actually get this here to come out there there and there then of course you just kind of run over here shake it out then sneak right click on

The next one and here’s where you actually just kind of stand over here now i’ve got like a little bit of just some extra blocks you can do this on a ladder you can do this on vines you just start pillaring yourself up if you want but

Just go down until you get to the spot where you only place one then you aim for these little dirt blocks and you place down these and this is where you you save yourself a lot of foot power you don’t have to actually get too far i just realized that i accidentally

Broke one of the uh the black ones over there the city marble not a problem i can actually do this there we go that’s fixed and then i can continue on with the pillar which there is three of so then you just keep going until the highlight

Is three above where it is there we go and then you just build these real quick and you don’t have to jump up on top of each of them instead you just kind of go up your own pillar then you shake it out and you do your

Last one which is just this one little tiny block here which i think am i too high no i’m not i’m not too high there we go and here and here there we go and you know that it’s working when you see all the sparkles everything is good to go at that point

Now i did put some lights out early on and this is now your attunement altar that’s great right now i can get myself attuned just by walking on here nope it’s not quite that simple you just built this massive structure and what does it do nothing you still

Need to do a little bit more you need to go into your book that’s right your astral tome you need to sneak right click with it and take out whatever constellation you would like to get attuned to in this case i’m going to go for let’s go with visio

You can choose whichever one you want but just know that the constellation has to be in the sky so if you are currently trying to see if you know there is a constellation up there just hold the paper and if it glows like this with the little blue spots on here

Then your constellations in the sky or at least this will help you outline it otherwise you can look in your telescope and it will tell you then or you can look in your book just by going to the constellation that you want and it’ll tell you according to the moon

Phase if it’s going to be in there at that time so if you hold on to your constellation paper you’ll also need a bunch of astral relays not 64 like i have here obviously i’m in creative but just by having this constellation paper in your off hand makes it a lot easier

You can then find the spot that you need to place the relays and you put these down and upon placing them in every spot which i actually appreciate that these are much brighter than they used to be in previous versions you’ll know it’s working when this happens

And you get really cool effects and beautiful new sounds oh it’s it’s really nice and then all you do you just walk into it and that’s it so let’s do that and it’ll change your perspective and you can start seeing that you are being attuned to the stars

What this allows you to do is start developing your person in special ways that you desire in this case i chose visio which implies travel i have to say that’s the first time that i’ve done that since the new updates and wow is that impressive okay the sound is really really nice

Anyway um now that you’ve done that you have a new chapter of your book i’m actually going to step away from that because it’s making a lot of sounds we’re going to just look at it from up here while we appreciate this and you can see on the top there

I already have part of my first level by going in here you can check out the perks menu you now have a new tab up here and it is very large it’s very path of exile it’s similar to this but it is a lot less restrictive you’re not going to end up like

Just failing like you would in path of exile if you didn’t like go a specific path but there’s so many ways you can go with this the basics on this are you start from one of five locations that you have attuned to i chose visio which

If you are unfamiliar with what each one will probably start you off with one you can guess but the other one is going to kind of give you an idea you know bathing in the rays of the this constellation gives the appearance that everything is moving slower when it simply makes

You faster in whatever you do so this implies probably speed ritual effect refraction table stuff can give you some clues as to what each one is if you uh don’t care about that and you just want to know well i’m here to tell you and vizio basically you gain experience by

Traveling the world so just by moving uh whether it be by flying by walking by running um i i don’t know that you get any by going up or down no you don’t it’s just by traveling on a horizontal plane so if you’re constantly going up and down

It’s not going to make as much difference as it will going left and right uh or north and south etc but there are other ones we’ve got armara you gain experience by taking damage then there is uh this one’s a locked one because i haven’t actually unlocked all of them

Uh give me one second and i’ll be right back there we go i have now learned the one that i was missing dissidia so let’s go back here and we can check out the perk tree again and now i can see the root dissidia and this one you gain experience by dealing damage

Continuing on over here you gain xp by breaking blocks and down here you gain xp by building things or by placing blocks of course got evitus got ivorio and dissidia as well as of course armara and vicio which i picked now each one is going to be different you can actually

As you level up right now i have one point to start and i can place it in either of these spots i can get myself a automatic two percent increased dodge chance to just take no damage or i can go with four percent increased reach either one is pretty good i’m gonna go

With the dodge chance for now and there we go i have now leveled up to level one and you can do a lot more with perks than just what i’m showing here there are these little uh ability areas let’s focus in on it now obviously just by starting on one of

These you get an automatic bonus i have 10 increased movement speed by default with visio now if i were to choose our mara i’d get 20 more armor if i go with dissidia i get 10 more damage whether it be projectile or melee and if i choose a vorsio i get an extra

Blocks reach this is mostly going to be for blake uh using tools not weapons so keep that in mind there are ways of doing it for both but not to start and then evitis does uh plus two added maximum life so i get extra hearts with that one

Get one whole extra heart and each one as you level up yes you could feasibly uh kind of run around over to the other one and then try increasing you could then gain xp from uh you know building things as well as running around or by taking damage and running around

Or both or all three or whatever there’s lots of different ways to go and you’ll probably notice that there are these really big ones out here you’re unable to grasp the effects of these that’s because these represent a much farther constellation that you can’t see as of yet you won’t

Be able to until later chapters but just know that currently you already have expanded your vision on constellations in my inventory i had a constellation paper that was saying you can’t see anything here now it says actins which i now have in my constellations octanes is now here and it’s question

Mark what does that mean well let’s take a look in the telescope and maybe we can find ourselves a new constellation or two oh look at this got new constellations i don’t even know what this one is i don’t have the paper for it if i had saved a whole bunch more of

Those blank ones then i probably would have it but for now i think oh look i’ve got another one here i don’t even recognize this one either way you could end up taking your time with your new constellation papers tracing out a whole bunch of new constellations now can you attune to

These new constellations no the really really distant ones that you can find in future chapters not in this chapter you can also secondary attune to in your perks tree that’s what these locked areas are that you might see around here like this but i’ll cover those in the future for

Now just know that there’s a ton of different things you can do in here i mean there’s a lot of percentages increased you’ve got some gem sockets as well which i will be covering today and you’ve got lots of other things just dependent upon the area that you’re in

If you are near visio just know that most of these are going to be something to do with like a reach or a movement or something along those lines that will let you do probably something like that faster speed something to do with that if you’re over

By evitus then it’s probably going to be something around life if you’re over by ivorio it’s probably going to be more around mining and reaching things then you’ve got dissidia which does a lot more damage in the area then you’ve got armara which is mostly armor or at least defensive based

And you can really get into some interesting stuff down here in the center where they’ve got lots of different stuff like a cool down recovery uh you get extra smite or sweeping edge built into your different uh weapons and tools without even enchanting them that’s right because you’re enchanted with perks so

Just to show i’m holding my my astral tone and by holding it it currently displays my level if i don’t hold it it’s not there so let’s hold on to this let’s actually get myself a traversal wand now if i choose the the blink mode i am not gaining any extra power

From that i did gain a sound increase but because i wasn’t actually moving but if i use dash then it might help me with my mantle of the stars which allows me to fly to get up into the sky and start gaining some levels rather quickly

As you can see here now i’m already level three now that was pretty quick but if i just run around on the ground it also helps i’m not moving quite as fast as i was with an elytra but that is a much later game and can obviously help you with higher levels a

Lot quicker well even lower levels but just the same i’ve now leveled up three times go back in your perk tree and you can start unlocking things like this and this gem sockets these can be really really powerful you can actually make yourself instead of a space wizard pursuing your different uh

You know options in here or even a combination of them you can go for gem sockets if you’re trying to find where a special ability is or something that adds into something let’s say that you really really just want to go super super fast you got to go fast

Anything that contains the word speed has just been highlighted on here with all these things there you go movement speed you’ve got mining speed you’ve got projectile speed there’s so much to choose from but if i look up something like gem sockets there’s only five actually six

I’m sorry there’s the one in the center here but you can see i’ve unlocked one this is empty gem socket right click to choose from your inventory you have no gems in your inventory well let’s fix that we’re going to cover dynamism gems these are rare very often overlooked and can be very

Strong with how people end up using them dynamism gems well it tells you all about them in here but i’m going to give you a brief rundown right here i am in a new area with a little bit different of a level i’m currently level 28 i’ve been playing

Around with vizio but you can see that i can basically do a lot more with my perk tree if i so desire let’s click on that you can see i’ve got quite a bit unlocked in here and i have access to plenty more i even have some more points i’ve got some

Weird stuff over here ceiling sigils and so on but first we’re going to show you dynamism gems so dynamism gems how do you make them one you get a bucket of liquid starlight two you toss in some kind of rock crystal probably your cheapest crappiest

One that you can don’t be afraid to use star metal cutting tools to get size split offs and just make keep making a bunch of size ones and then toss in a bit of illumination powder this might take you a few tries because if you’re too close but let’s toss this back in

There we go and you’ll start seeing yellow particle effects like this now once you wait long enough for this to actually happen there you go you’ll get one of these a gem crystal cluster which this is just a baby it’s got three stages this is the first the second

Looks like this which it’s growing which is good you definitely want that let me put this back here and then of course there’s a third stage which looks like one of these three which will harv which will be harvestable at that point you don’t want to harvest it while it looks like this

Or while it looks like this you’re going to want it to have some color to it whether it be orange blue or like this silver here with a dot on it and this one here is just kind of translucent white so this one here will be ready in the

Daytime it will probably when it comes to goes from this stage to the final stage during the day it’ll look like this if it does that during the dawn or dusk time basically when the sun is rising or setting there’s a very small area it could look like this

And if you go to the night time it will look like this one and they each have different properties there we go that’s that’s gone now the properties can vary quite a bit if you look at these we’ve got the sun the ones from the daytime you can get

Three to four different abilities on each gem they range basically from five to six percent in most cases this is just me making a whole bunch of them if you go with those that are at night time uh the fengaram gems these will do two maybe three stats i mean it’s a very

There we go there’s one there and they usually vary from six to eight percent if there’s uh in most cases oh there we go five to eight percent and in most cases they’ll actually hover around seven or eight percent for most of the stats which means you can get a better stat

Just less of them if you want to kind of split the difference then you’ve got your dusk gems which often kind of mix both uh it’ll take the stats of of like the sunshine ones which you can see here six percent that’s okay i mean i was i was getting six percent

Over here so but you can get some really good ones you can get as high as eight percent on these and as high as three so you can actually get some pretty decent ones like this one here five seven six percent might not sound like too much but honestly if this is

The kind of stuff that you’re looking for then hey it’s great you know so probably if you just want a variety of uh five percent or more increases then go with the sunshine if you don’t go for the night time and how can you control this

Well you can’t really uh not not as easily as possible you could probably try and plant these but they vary in how fast they will actually grow uh you won’t be able to start like focus them with starlight won’t make any difference but you can just wait so if i grab some of

These let’s actually do this i’m going to throw these ones over here for now we’ll plant one of each of these on the ground throw that one out and then we’ll grab this one and plant it down what’s going to happen is these will over time revert

Back to this and then try re-maturing to a different one depending upon the night time that it is they may end up switching even if it’s night time it’s a possibility they could change over time and how can you use these well if you remember the perks that i was talking about

You just need to have them in your inventory you remember i’ve got one two three four five of these in my inventory right now i have leveled up 28 times with my visio route here and you can see that i have currently do gone quite a distance along here

And i’ve gone all the way over i even split over to another one i’ve got a gem socket here a gem socket here jump socket here and a gem socket here these are a lot of gem sockets and then basically you right click on it

Like it says right click to choose a gem from your inventory then it shows you this list of all the gems that you have a visual list and then you can hover over them and it will tell you what each one is therefore you can just

Socket that in place this one here let’s see we’ve got something that does starlight recharge melee damage reach movement speed you should see my screen start zooming out a little bit once i click on this there we go and then i can keep going i’m just adding each one of these now

I’ve got five slots currently open on this this is actually quite a bit but i was going more for a build of just gem slots than i was wanting to go for any of the other stuff so i could just get massive percent increases on things it’s pretty

Darn good i now move really fast it doesn’t show you anything on here i currently have a an all an effect going on from something else that’s what the absorption and resistance is so just ignore those but oh look these have already changed they reverted back to this and it’s

Night time this one rematured into a nighttime one all you need to do then is just harvest it with a pick and you get yourself one of these ones here that has two or three stats on it that are pretty high now going back into the perk tree you

Probably saw i had some other stuff up here ceiling sigils these can be very very important let’s say that through your time traveling through here you you find some things that you really like like this illusory hammer plus one added mining size what that means is

If i mine things with my crystal pickaxe it will then mine things in a three by three instead of a one block area well i don’t want to do that i want to mine in a one block area i don’t like that anymore it’s really been annoying because i’m

Trying to pick blocks up well you’re going to have to be able to seal that with sigils and basically what you do is you choose an area that you’ve selected and you drag one of your ceiling sigils to it a ceiling sigil is actually relatively cheap just some nocturnal powder

Star dust and glass lens you get four of them at a time now once you use them they’re used up so it’s something that you have to renew it is not written to a bowl but if i don’t want this i’ll just choose this one two percent

Added dodge chance i don’t want that anymore you just drag this because you just have to have them in your inventory and they’ll show up up here to this spot and it seals it you no longer get this effect if i don’t want this one here

I can seal that i can even seal the main root uh my increased movement speed it goes away if i want to have these come back again you just double click and you get the effects back does take a moment for it to actually accomplish really pretty effects and great sounds

But there you go you can then get them back and you can see that this is currently used them up you don’t get them back but hey you know what at least you can shut things off that you don’t want what if i make a mistake on here i don’t even want visio

I wanted to start with our mara that’s that’s going to be a problem well assuming that you haven’t spent too much time leveling things up there are ways of doing it here we are back in my original attunement world that i had set up now if you recall i’m what is it level

Three let’s actually get myself there we go up to level four no problem i i have done so and i i’ve spent some points and let’s let’s level myself up again there we go so i currently have this but i wanted to get to armara instead or rather i wanted to start here

Because i’m constantly getting attacked by mobs i don’t care about running around and i don’t like the accesses that are close to this you know that i could potentially have i like the ones better over here well there are multiple ways of fixing this one is through the use of a shifting star

Now keep in mind shifting stars these are nameless things shifting stars this is how you tell them apart from other stars shifting star it will reset all your progress you lose all xp and you can then restart so by making one or in my case grabbing one from the creative inventory

And then just actually here let me remove the book here if you just hold it long enough you’ll eventually get this broken effect and your light fades you’re no longer attuned to anything if i look in the astral tone i don’t even have the perks tab i’m not attuned to anything you have

To go back through to tunement again through armara at this time if you want or you could go back through the same one you know i could just back up into this and i can i can redo visio and you lose all xp all xp oof but not to worry

There are ways of fixing this in future chapters you can actually choose these things here irradiance stars and they will take whatever xp you currently have and apply it to a new attunement depending upon which one you have chosen and made but that like i said is in a future chapter

Now the last thing that i wanted to cover today is going to be attunement of non-personal nature that is going to be of crystals so if i take this and throw a crystal up there i will attune a crystal to visio instead now what does this enhance

Not much in this chapter this is why i showed you how you can fast track to other chapters it’s a really pretty effect and great sounds i have to say everything in here will probably take you a little bit of time to actually accomplish when you’re attuning stuff so don’t

Don’t think that this is like something you can just click it and it’s done now here’s the problem is that if i walk into that i’m gonna re-attune myself so i’ll be back in just a moment actually i figured out how i can do this there we go

And i now have a visio crystal that has been tuned to visio so what does the benefit of this have when you’re using this in any kind of altar or specifically a ritual or even like creating a crystal it can then gain extra starlight charge uh

From when visio is in the sky but currently there isn’t a big bonus to it you can see here all that’s changed about this size one this this crystal is it’s now tuned to visio which isn’t really going to do you much unless you start getting into something like

Rituals or even better yet collector crystals in the next chapter which allow you to do a whole lot more as you can see up there i’ve got a collector crystal that’s focusing on an altar giving me extra stuff no longer do you need to rely upon the underground altars
