Barn Arc Finale | Minecraft CS Ep.15

Hey guys toi here once again welcome to a crafting stories and also happy 2024 in crafting stories this is the first episode for the new year very exciting I do apologize first of all I’m a little bit sick right now I have been sick for this week um just kind of been doing

Excuse me a little too many things I think this week and overdid it a bit but I am recovering well and so my voice might be a little bit off I’ve been trying to take it easier and not like stream and do too much stuff but I did

Want to do a little bit of Minecraft still you know just cozy up and get some Minecraft in here did you guys notice how much trees I’ve grown here there’s like a forest out here in the front yard I logged in and looked outside and there was like this this crazy crazy forest

Look at this there’s so many trees out here oh oh my gosh so I’m going to go ahead and chop some of these Woods cuz today I’m going to be continuing to work on the barn I’ve been excited to work on this Barn I think it’s going to be really

Cool it’s going to be a big project but we’re going to need a lot of these Oak slabs and once we finish it up it’s going to look really good I hope it’s going to look really good cuz I wanted to make one of my worst things on like

The crafting stories to one of my best things if that makes sense cuz you guys know I kind of like always hated how that Barn looked and where I was keeping my animals and stuff so I thought it would be awesome to like yeah make one

Of the the pain sores my favorite things which would be kind of cool to apply to in life too a little bit some of the things that like we really dread if we can make it like something we really love somehow I know that’s like really

Hard to do for everything cuz there is like a lot of things that are really messed up and bad that maybe we have to do um dayto day that we just don’t like but if there is some way to make it a little bit more pleasureful or good I think that would be

Cool whatever that may be what is it like taking out the trash okay that’s really trivial stuff um what are some things that we dread doing in life that we could try to make better waking up early in the morning maybe like if you had something awesome to greet yourself with in the

Morning like your favorite breakfast every morning no that’d be kind of crazy huh that that would be too much but something like that you know um all right what do we want to do here I think I’m going to go ahead and make all these like stripped Oak planks in the back

Kind of make like this back wall of stripped Oak I think this is what I want to do yeah yeah yeah something like this ouch is there a way I can do this without hurting myself every time I hope you guys had a good start to the new year

I did a two-day Festival music festival for New Year’s which was really cool it’s called decadence I guess you can call it like a rave um but it was it was really fun I usually go every year with my friend it’s kind of our tradition now that we go it’s uh

It’s a lot it takes a lot of energy but it is fun though to go so saw like a lot of fun artists there um just to name a few that I was really excited for uh Zed’s Dead Steve aoke which was amazing to finally see

Steve Aoki we’re going to fill up these little columns here and kind of give it a little bit of texture and then out here is going to be a window which we can just kind of look out onto our nice golden patch now this was actually placed really well just get

A nice Viewpoint of our oops of our little Outdoors there let’s go and fill that back up with this and then we’re going to want Spruce laabs just right on top here animals are going to get a really nice view hopefully something like that

There we go so the next part is going to be a pretty difficult part it is building the roof which I dread building roofs I’m really bad at building roofs but let’s go ahead and get some needed material for this apparently we’re going to have to go for Spruce now I didn’t

Really need as much Oak as I thought I needed so now I’m going to have to go back to the drawing board and try to find a lot of spruce I did like the way these trees looked around my property too though these spruce trees looked really nice give me the spruce saplings

Oh there’s so many Spruce saplings okay now we’re going to be able to plant a lot it’s going to look even better now where’s all my bone meal I had so much bone meal I need to remember which chest I put that in it was somewhere around here ooh more

Saplings good oh here it is all right let’s go ahead and just bone all these trees wait what let me go ahead and oh okay might need to to chop down some of these guys ah I forget that when you hit the ground with bone meal it like Sprouts stuff oh

Shoot oh my gosh there’s maybe too many trees here all right let me go ahead and figure out how to make this roof cuz I’m so bad at making roofs if I start it wrong at the start it’s going to be just completely ruined so I got to be careful

I think it starts here let me see all right let me go ahead and get my roof stuff ready I need this and I need planks let me go ahead and get some oh let me get this out of here all right planks yes planks and stairs is what I

Need and I’m going to go ahead and actually it’s not here I think I need to start it like down and out almost like out here like this is that where it starts oh God I hope so and then it like puts a plank here and then a roof like that I think

This is how it’s being done we just kind of alternate with planks and stairs up okay something like that how does that look does that look okay okay there we go all right and then we’re going to go and just slab stair slab stair up this whole thing here okay roof is coming

Together let’s go I just knew exactly where to place that slab in stair we’re going to start spawning some bades around here in these parts of the woods to sleep to sleep we need to go oh my gosh go to sleep go to sleep go to sleep go to sleep look that little

Zombie creeping in there Hi friend oh yeah oh no oh no oh no I love all the trees around my property it makes me feel so happy so happy and cozy a oh shoot the thing is back we need a little bit of a combination of Oak and

Spruce and we’re going to make this roof house some personality some personality okay so first we’re going to touch up this whole Edge line with some of these Spruce stairs okay nice give it a nice little uh Sprucey look I had to double check to make sure I was using the

Spruce cuz I’m using so many different trees right now that I’m losing track of which is which but we got the spruce which is this nice dark color you see you can’t think like an amateur out here man you got to make sure that you know texture and

Personality that’s number one good thing I’m not out there designing buildings cuz you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between anything they all look like boxes I’m going to guess that it’s like this and I’m just going to try to fill it up hopefully like so

But I think we can just do it like this across the board oh jeus oh no this gave me such Tetris feels I’m so bad at tetras oh my gosh I panicked that that’s my problem is whenever there’s like clutch moments that are needed to be done in any

Situation I start to panic very hard and it gets me in trouble I will say I think that’s how I fell really bad when I went snowboarding a few days ago I panicked kind of hard when I hit a slab of ice I wasn’t able

To um I guess keep my cool and I hit this like really big patch of ice going down the mountain and I slid out I’m just really bad at snowboarding on Ice which is something that I’m really trying to get better at but I messed up

My knee I fell I wiped out and I destroyed my right knee and it got all like bruised up and weird looking but yeah it was just a it was a good lesson a good lesson to learn there on just trying to keep your cool in situations even though things aren’t

Going planned and maybe just like really catching you off guard I think just keeping calm is the best way to kind of at least be more probable for Success cuz yeah when you start to panic and get all crazy and wobbly and weird you’re uh you’re probably going to be

Failing a lot easier than when you’re just remaining calm which I’m learning actually I think I’m getting better at it to be honest in a lot of situations and and the the weird thing that’s been helping me kind of keeping my calm in kind of crazy situations is

From a game called valerant it’s a tactical FPS shooter game which um it kind of gets pretty stressful at times but when it comes down to it when it like gets down to the wire like learning to just stay calm remain calm you realize that you just have a lot more success

And I think applying that in just day-to-day scenarios is pretty good I can really just turn out your success rate there for the Better all right we don’t actually need like so many stairs we kind of do but we kind of don’t actually we do we do cuz we have a whole another section of the barn over there I totally forgot um but what we’re going to do is we’re

Going to add even more texture and personality here pretty soon you guys just got to wait for it it’s going to get crazyy but I will do this at least to the top here and maybe just like some slab work on the bottom like so now for this part this little texture

Part everywhere there’s a pillar he says so one of these pillars I think that’s what he says everywhere there’s a pillar we’re going to go ahead and create a spruce stair so like right here right here this one yeah I like it I like it I like what he’s

Thinking he just wants to add a little bit more color to the roof so that’s why he’s popping in some of these darker slabs every so often just to give us some more of that personality and I think there’s another pillar right here nope right here okay

Right there was the pillar so then right here we just going to go ahead and add another strip of something something right across oh I’m finishing this Barn today no way are we going to have a non-finished barn at the end of this episode look at me carp carpentering in the

Rain I’m such a hard worker well next we’re going to go ahead and clear out this grass floor and put some nice wooden floors in here oh it’s coming together guys this Barn is looking nice using these raw Spruce logs for material has been challenging because it’s just it’s such

An expensive material in survival mode but what I’m I’m going to do is I’m going to go ahead and place Spruce log just right across here and place Spruce log going down like so guess barns do usually have two floors to it they’re built so high so tall there we

Go now this Barn has a second floor oh wow all right all right Spruce planks we’re just going to go ahead and now create the stable portion of the barn which is going to be pretty important for our animals a little place for them to reside okay so this area

We’re actually going to leave open mhm mhm okay yeah we’re going to we’re going to leave open right right right and then we’re going to make fences here yes okay so fences are going to lead outwards all right imagine all this dirt not being here and it’s just

Going to be like a big pasture for the animals a very big pasture for the animals Cobblestone walls now on each one of these little spots here like this I got to go back to the forest chopping down some trees cuz I’m out of materials once again oh it’s so

Far up yeah let’s tackle this huge floating tree oh my gosh wait this tree is just straight up big oh my gosh this tree is big how cool would it be to make another tree house okay all right one project at a time one project at a

Time having a massive tree house though would be so cool I never had a tree house growing up no I think one of my friends had a tree house it was more so of like a wooden plank that was like on a branch but it was pretty cool though you

Could get up there and set up on a tree there something about building a fort you know back in the day just was really cool being all secluded and felt like it was your little home your territory was really awesome it was almost like introducing the first stages of being a

Homeowner in a way it’s like this is what we strived for that was how it felt when I like lived on my own for the first time it was like my own little castle I like stepped into it and I made the rules in there it was just purely

Mine I think that’s something that I really enjoyed about just having my own spot and living by myself is being able to yeah have that feeling of like this is my kingdom and I can make all the rules in this little box that I live in

And it felt good okay I think I’m overdoing it with the trees though for real there’s just so many trees being planted which I love I just love it but now I’m kind of like out of control you know what I mean I’m just out of control

With the trees this man is going pure oak on this house hold on guys if you just saw what I witnessed I don’t know if we’re going to make it but we’re going to try uh please let this be where I need it to be de of course

Okay yeah it’s going to get pretty oy up in here for sure holy smokes or should I say Holy Oak this is going to be a lot so we’re going to be like putting pretty much like some Oak just pure Oak uh pieces of wood here on this this Barn is costing a

Lot right now it’s costing a lot but as a barn should I don’t believe barns are cheap to make it’s it’s just it’s going to hold a lot it’s going to do a lot for you I haven’t really watched the full tutorial on this I’ve just been

Following it as I go so it’s kind of a surprise to me which probably isn’t a good thing it’s like well what if you just can’t do it you know what then we just start improvising they wanted Spruce fences we have Oak fenes does it really

Matter oh for the contrast m i see it does matter it does matter give me a second guys we are needing more trees this has been the theme of this episode of crafting stories is we just need more wood but I’m glad that this project has led me to

Needing this much wood cuz then it forced me to plant this much trees and I just love it I I love having this many trees around the property and then we’re going to place the fences here lanterns go in the middle I want to worry about

The lanterns like at the end is there’s going to be like fencing along here in the back is maybe to separate the animals if they wanted to be having a little bit more I guess like separation for different types of animals okay so for the roof the roof on the stable side of

Things which I know it’s kind of hard to see and like put everything together cuz I’m like building this in a mountain right now but it’s going to all come together and it’s going to be beautiful one Outwards and then it’s like two up on top and then it’s three going AC Frost like this wait like this it’s like three and then this one Is here two one across I think is supposed to look like that I don’t know okay let’s try it out like that that I think it’s going to be a more humble roof for the stable oh jeez oh jeez let’s get out of here get me out

Get me out get me out it’s night time you crazy shoot do I hear something oh I’m getting sniped in my barn oh yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo Yoo this is going to be a beautiful view for the barn though like look at that they can

Just look out into the ocean have you ever seen a barn next to an ocean before I feel like that’s kind of rare I don’t know really if Barns and beaches go together but this is going to be a barn Beach think of that as the advertisement

You know there’s like oh grassfed or grass roamed cows and chickens what about Beach viewside cows I feel like they would live much happier lives right I’m sure their meat would become extra tender if that was the case should I just do it now to like anticipate the

Pattern so I don’t have to like break it up and stuff cuz I already know what the pattern is going to be oh I already messed up the pattern a little bit anyways but that’s okay like that you know cuz we’re going to give it the

Little zebra stripe here on like Oak and planks and right here again we’re going to have another this one I visited this place was it I think it was called carry Park and it was a nice hike it was a or Discovery Park Discovery Park I think in Seattle

And uh it it was a really nice hike beautiful hike along the beach side you can get there and kind of walk along the beach area but then also when you get to the beach you see just like this gorgeous view of the mountains you’re kind of like surrounded by both and I

Thought that was really pretty just having both of those amazing land environment surround you just a really incredible feeling for me though if I had to choose one oh it’ be mountains hands down I just love the mountains too much oh my gosh I think I just finished up this roof

Though it is looking super nice oh yeah wait what’s happening over here what is this why why is this wood like this can it not be like that nice okay we can’t really see it in the entirety right now just because of this this thing blocking it but we’ll we’ll

Get there the barn is pretty much finished though it is pretty much finished now it’s just like a lot of the cleanup work which I am actually pretty excited to do so that we can start making it look nice you know first what I’m going to do is I’m going to put the

Lantern here here and here and let me change this out Lantern Lantern Lantern and please no mobs here we’re going to put lanterns up here here as well just so that this place is lit up to up on top and we can put like designs and chests there here I think we’re

Going to put like some shelves so we could put some some treasure chests and hay barrels or whatnot around here we’ll go and put some chests like so in the back maybe we’ll put a chest here and then we’ll put like some plants and I don’t know some other miscellaneous things here

That might look nice I do want to put some lanterns like here so I need to make a lot more lanterns which I need a lot of iron and then we’re going to go and go over here put some lanterns on this side put some lanterns here

Yeah which is going to be really nice um you know what I think I might try to oh I can’t do that can I put some lanterns in this window like so kind of give it some more light how to like really appreciate this Barn I think for

Its entirety I need to really just clear this space out I am going to go on a shoveling Adventure all this in front gone gone I’m zoning in as I’ve been digging away here I just can’t help but think about what I said at the start of this

Episode how I kind of wanted to make this Barn the sorest spot in my crafting stories one of my most treasured spots and something that I used to do or that I would feel back when especially when I was in school I dreaded going to school

I think a lot of people did dread go to school but you know what made school a lot better having a crush having a crush on someone I mean I guess it could go both ways it can make you really not want to go if it was just

Like kind of a torturous situation but I think most of my times like that I had a crush on somebody especially if I was in class with them and we were in talking terms I would love to go to school and look forward to the class like quite a

Bit just to be able to like talk with them or hang out with them see them you know it just made going to school a lot better oh my gosh dang it I’m getting raided get out of here get out of here nice okay well that’s unfortunate I cleared

Out a lot of this cave this this whole dirt Hill the thing is though I kind of want to keep a little bit of this mountain but I don’t want it to look like it’s so I don’t know I want to look more natural again just that natural look so

I’m going to make some walls now or some fence lines the fence looks pretty good too I think let’s hope that mine turns out good as well so I’m going to alternate a wooden or a stone wall a spruce log and an oak slabs so we’re

Going to have this kind of design going out too much contrast here actually I’m going to go ahead and use Spruce slabs on top yeah cuz it’s still like a good contrast on the spruce actually logs itself but I don’t want to put the oak slabs on top I’m going to actually put

Like a layer of fence this way so that they can’t get out you know scoy me there we go just to kind of hold them in there for now while I build around it there we go okay and then we’re going to go ahead and continue this

Pattern so we don’t have to stress about it too much like so okay nice good little connection here on the corner beautiful and then a spruce slab we’ll just go and put on top of each one of these logs and I believe this makes it so that

The animals can’t jump outo is that too big of a gate it might be too big huh yeah that’s that’s good oh and it’s raining too woo okay ah oh oh oh that scared me oh my gosh okay I think it was just an Enderman just an Enderman it’s fine it’s

Fine it’s fine give it a little bit of a light oh I dude I’m getting haunted right now I don’t like it there we go yes okay A little light there I was just doing a little bit of tree cleanup because the property is getting overrun with trees for sure I

Went a little too hard with the trees or maybe we’ll have like two entrances you know we’ll have like a little spot here too which would be kind of fun set the cows free yay freedom for the cows Let’s Go decorations here maybe I was think like put some Hedges

Here had like a cool little design design element here yonies maybe some Lil AXS oh yeah put it like that he also had like a little spot right here oh what if I did this whole wall with Hedges oops Yeah like that kind of put some Hedges

Oh I’m so happy there it is one part is finally fixed wait oh the cow got out wait hold on it jumped on my treasure chest oh my gosh it made the Great Escape that was a pretty big project it was fun to make though I I think just getting all the different

Woods together for this building was pretty cool I want to work on that train station too that’s for sure that train station is kind of a sore I want to make a good pathing system as well like around maybe clean up just the around territory there’s quite a bit of things
