Big 1.20 Builds and Sniffer Farm! Minecraft Lets Play Ep.11

Hello guys welcome back to the next episode here in our beautiful little world that we have that’s really really coming together if you missed the last episode go back and watch it because we added a lot of new things I won’t show you right now um if you haven’t seen go

Ahead and look right now but um this this is really coming together here in our world and we have a ton of new updates I want to add to the base today and some other fun stuff so there’s a good episode coming together here let me sleep first but I hope

You’re excited because we are going to be doing quite a bit to our base guys I know we talked a little bit about planning in the last episode but let me show you in the next idea I have if we come over here here’s our general base

Area and over here on the edge of the mountain in this back side over here I’ve cleared out a little area where we are going to be doing some farming as you can see I’m using a lot of mud for the pathways and a mud requires a lot of

Wheat and I don’t have a lot of wheat so what I decided to do is make a big Wheat Farm but I didn’t want to just make a some ugly Wheat Farm somewhere I decided we’re gonna do the classic big Wheat Field over here with the windmill in the back

So in a creative world I was working on a windmill design I think it is pretty cool guys you’re gonna like it it’s a little bit different from the style that we’re doing over here with the rest of our Towers but it’s gonna look awesome just past these towers over on this hill

With a bunch of wheat coming out and everything I think I need to clear out a few more of these trees you know I originally like this biome for the trees but now as I’m building more things in here I’m realizing there’s just just a lot of these trees and because they

Expand out so much of the leaves it’s just they just block the vision of everything you’re trying to build so I think clearing out a few is is good if you’re building in this biome and you feel like your base doesn’t look that great maybe try just clearing out some

Of these trees just because there’s there’s just a lot of them it’s kind of polarizing so like I said I already have the build created and I have uh the schematic ready to to build just to make things a little bit easier because I really like the build I made um and I

Want to get it right so I collected a bunch of materials here as you can see took some time to get some Spruce and we got this Coral in the last episode so we’re going to use it here some amethyst and stuff and then we had to get a bunch

Of birch mainly for the trap doors for the actual windmill rotating windmill piece and then we got just some random stuff and some seeds for planting the big wheat field and I think the wheat field guys is going to cover this entire top of this hill and maybe expand out

This way a little bit and then we’re gonna obviously add up more more buildings all over this mountain and as you can see we’re actually filling it up pretty quickly it doesn’t go too much farther this way and we’re almost basically at the edge over on this side

So we’re filling up this island pretty or this mountain pretty quickly and this farming area on this other side maybe this whole side of this mountain will become the farming Zone uh these animals are kind of getting in the way but guys let’s do it let’s get into the build so

We got all our materials right here I’m going to load up the schematic we’re going to be building our nice beautiful windmill right here I hope you guys really enjoy the design um again I spent some time designing it so it should look pretty cool I hope it

Fits this area nicely and uh let’s hop into a time lapse and build this windmill foreign Guys the beautiful build I know I did some stuff off camera finished putting together the wheat and all that but there’s other stuff I need to show you that I did off of the time lapse and whatnot but look at this all this wheat this is so much wheat I harvested like

Half of it to get more seeds for this and it gave me multiple stacks of wheat so that is crazy we’re getting an enormous amount of Wheat and it just looks really cool so if I come over here I’ll show you I really want to have this

Winding path come down right here like I planned out and I think that’s gonna be the next thing we put in place because right now as you can see from far it looks a little bit empty we have all this and then randomly we have this so a

Path connecting it will help a lot but guys up here too oh wow I went all the way in okay so in here we have obviously all of our nice things we have our wheat and Seed storage right here and now I have this sniffer Farm guys so I was

Talking about doing the sniffer farm right here I decided to get to work on it I had some extra time and I figured down here underneath the windmill would be a cool spot to put it and here we go we got the alays down here I took the one I had

From over near the uh main base area and I duplicated it with amethyst shards and then I went out near our desert it uh went through the nether to get to our desert and found some more motion and it literally only took me about 20 minutes

Of brushing in the warm ocean and I got two sniffer Hicks so I got really lucky and so we’re waiting for them to breed up they still have not dug a thing and they have been they hatched like 40 minutes ago maybe more than that so uh I

Don’t know what that’s about let me know if you have a solution to that so we’ll be waiting for them to dig up some stuff so we can give the Olay the items and everything and then start breeding up the sniffers but as I said guys tons of

Weight here and the next thing we want to work on is building out this path so this area feels uh more interconnected to the rest of the base so let me grab mud and put in this path here here we go here we go oh gosh can you even fit through that

Let’s see let’s see no okay never mind anyway guys over here we have the path in place right here I think it is pretty cool it’s a little winding path going up we got the mud some azalea plants I put some candles and some stone structures over here along with lanterns uh more

Candles I I need to get more uh honeycomb to make candles um but I do not have access to a lot of that right now but then we got this little path coming up through the wheat so we can get into the windmill very easily and guys in the windmill like I

Showed you we have the sniffer farm and finally guys I was able to I guess they don’t sniff out flowers on Moss or I don’t know for some reason I was having trouble with that and as you can see right here it’s gonna happen in front of

Us he’s sniffing he’s gonna get one there we go one of the olays all right there we go the the pincher pod or whatever he’s got it throw it in boom all right so let’s see what we’ve collected uh I just got this going maybe

15 minutes ago and oh look at that we are already fighting a bunch of these and we need to keep breeding these guys up I have a third in here now and let’s go ahead and read the two big guys and then we should we’ll get another we’ll

Have four and uh we’ll just keep doing this cycling I’ll check every once in a while while I’m building uh to see what we’ve got going on but yeah we’re just gonna keep there it is we’re just gonna keep getting these guys going so what’s next guys okay this path looks pretty

Cool as you can see coming around here oh yeah pretty cool interconnected maybe another build um somewhere like right here would add a little bit more uh detail but for now we’re gonna work on some other stuff as you can see guys if you stay to the end

Of the last episode I talked about the bridge that we’re gonna build connecting me and Jake’s mountain and this is going to be the starting location of the bridge we were just messing around yesterday trying to figure out where we want to put it and uh this is kind of

The the direction we want to head with this and as you can see it’s going to go straight at this height all the way across and we’re going to connect to his Mountain over here but because his mountain is so much higher somewhere around here we’re going to have a big

Tower coming out of the mountain and the bridge from my mountain is going to run into the side of the tower the tower will go up tall obviously and then the bridge will continue higher up so that it can connect up to the top of his mountain and his base right back over

Here so we’re not going to actually start the big uh building process of this bridge today but what I want to do is connect at least just this one line all the way across so we get a feel for it I was working on the design in a

Creative world so it’s mostly going to be a lot of stone and some deep sleep because it’s going to be a lot of blocks guys so that’s gonna be a huge project coming very soon I also decided to add some flowers around the outside of this path to kind

Of frame it a little more kind of how we have with some of the other paths and I think it adds a lot to it I also went down into this area over here in our storage area and you know we have our little storage area two rooms that need

To be uh you know categorized I don’t know what we’re gonna do with them maybe a second storage area if I’ve run out of room um to make it a little more expandable but I was working on our furnace room over here and I went super simple with

It guys as you can see we just have some furnaces and some chimney type Cobblestone walls going up a little Mangrove wood in the back I want to keep it really dark so I went mostly deep sleep with that mint red Mangrove wood right there just some different

Variations of deep slate along with the Cobblestone The Mangrove and then back here the barrels to store some wood and other things that we’re we’re cooking up so yep we got some coal in all of these and then a little smoke coming out the

Back in a pile of coal over there so I think that’s a pretty cool room right there I need to add a sign like we have over here and that’ll complete this second wing of our little storage area and of course as I said I expanded the

One lane of this bridge it took me like like just a few minutes it was nothing crazy uh all the way over here to this part of the mountain where I believe this is where we’re going to have the tower that goes up and makes the bridge

Go higher uh we decided we thought it would look stupid if the bridge just uh had like a ramp up I I just think that would look weird so the tower is gonna be the connector to make it go up and I think we’re gonna put the tower somewhere around right here although

It’s gonna have to be a very very tall tower um coming over the water here so maybe we’ll extend part of the ground here to make it not as tall because coming all the way down here it’s uh it’s gonna be enormous and what I built up in a

Creative world is definitely not that tall so we will see we will see guys but yeah it did not take long to build out this one lane of it um and I think I could build all all seven of these across in less than half an hour to that point so maybe that’s

Something I’ll take on uh pretty soon so a lot of good a lot of good progress coming here guys and I need to sleep it’s turning to nighttime oh boy all right we are filling up this this Sanctuary here um oh actually there’s not that many but

We got plenty of eggs over here uh it looks like a couple of hatch there was some eggs over here oh yeah there’s lots of babies there they still gotta grow up but we are doing good here in the sniffer Farm below the windmill and if I

Come over here oh yeah there’s a lot of a lot of little guys I’ve been doing a lot of breeding we come down here they are producing look at all these pincher pods that is awesome that’s a lot uh and torch flowers obviously I’ve been using

Those to breed uh up these guys and I think we’re at a good number for now we can stay there I had to add uh this door because the elas wanted to escape um but yeah guys we’re doing real good with that it looks like it’s sounds like

It’s night time but it’s not it looks like things were just uh dying and obviously look at this guys the path is looking real good over to here you know um I’m really really enjoying that part and I really want to add these pincher pots intro pitcher pods geez uh

Somewhere and I think I figured out where I want to put them and now that I just spent a couple of minutes trying to go to sleep for some reason we can uh we can continue I don’t know why I thought it was nighttime but

Guys over here this is where I want to put the pincher plant pods um I think over here we want to have a little retaining wall kind of that goes around here similar to what we have going on right here we kind of have this wall with these flowers and stuff so I

Think right over here along this we want to have the wall and I think it’ll come to maybe like right here and go straight down this way let me just let me carve it out real quick so we get a visual here and then go straight across here so

Something like that uh something along here maybe I’m gonna dig it out and then we’re just gonna put a wall in here and then I want to put the pincher pod plants along the top of it so I think it’ll just add kind of a cohesiveness to

The build over here it’ll kind of connect these two areas a little bit better if we have something there so so let me get to work on that I’m going to dig out the shape I want and then figure out a block palette for it obviously probably similar black palette to these

Builds uh Stone deep slate and some wood so let me grab some materials and get that started all right so it is a mess right now but you can kind of see what we’re going for here a cool little retaining wall that kind of fits uh this area

Um we’re gonna have to figure out how we want to fill in this area that’s gonna be a little more complicated but then I decided to add I think we’re gonna have these strips of water coming through here um just like so and it’s gonna run into there

Oh beautiful okay and then so they’re going to come through here boom and then we’ll do guys is we will fill in the rest in between the water strips with flowers now I think what I want to do I don’t know it’s kind of hard to tell

I don’t know how many uh of this it’s gonna take we only have 48 pitcher pods we should be able to fill it all up with pitcher pods eventually um but do I want to do some torch flowers some picture pods do I want to make this just the pitcher pod uh bed

Basically and then have a different one for torch flowers I’m not sure or do we want to do something up on this top row and then the rest pitcher pods so right now I’m trying to figure that out and um well it’s nighttime I’m gonna sleep finish getting this thing all put

Together and oh I forgot to put a hole there but I’ll figure it out you guys will see in about three seconds what I’ve decided to do all right so we got the build um almost completed here um so I went with this uh this tough here uh that I

Didn’t talk about before just to break up the monotony uh over here of the stone and then we got the spruce on the bottom maybe we’ll put some Spruce along the top here just some trap doors to cover it all but then we got all of the pincher plants in here

Um I I don’t actually know what they’re called when they’re in this form whatever uh it doesn’t matter but then we right here we got some uh owl alliums uh that will match the purple that would be at the top of these flowers once they’re fully grown I put those on some

Coarse dirt to match the farmland and boom there is a beautiful little retaining wall right here and we’re gonna have to build a path to go through to here um where we should have another smaller structure right here um and then we’re obviously gonna have to add some kind of something uh right

Here now what this will be I don’t know yet now I also went ahead and added some moss and mapped out a little building over here that I want to have um some kind of I don’t know if I wanted to really be a tower more of like a like

A stubby Tower kind of like similar to this um but just kind of to bring this area together more so we’ll have kind of a circular stubby little building there and then over here another building this one’s gonna be a diagonal building so a little more detail in this and I want

This to be a farm based building of some kind as this upper area is gonna be our farm area so I’m kind of I’m in the process of figuring out what we want uh this to be the purp the purpose of this here it might be like our garden house

Area but then again I also kind of want to build over here like a big cool Greenhouse with a lot of cool plants in it so actually let me add that to the idea book up here along with a few other things so I was able to add a few more things

To make this look a little bit more cohesive over here as you can see we have a nice little little raised piece of ground with some stone and a waterfall that’s coming out of it and flowing down into this waterfall that’s coming out of the front of our bed up

Here all flowing into our main river system as you can see now I think it looks pretty cool we’re gonna add some moss in these areas over here and uh as you can see the flowers are coming together see how the purple purple matches so um that is pretty cool I’m

Enjoying this uh build so far freshening up this area of the base so that I feel like over here we were really heavy on on the builds and the detail and stuff and now oh gosh we’re gonna come around this side and now we’re kind of bringing

It all together this side’s kind of being built out and then obviously out in the distance we have our beautiful little windmill here so let’s also drop oh a little bit of lag a little bit of lag I’m gonna drop it in here and see

What our stock is like uh at the sniffer Farm down here there’s a lot of there’s a lot of sniffer noise going on that’s that’s to be expected I guess oh gosh oh okay all right hold on all right we’re really it’s really crowd in here I think

We’ve maxed out sniffers in this little area and oh yeah look at that for 47 torch flowers that’s pretty good oh wow yeah so this Farm is functioning very well it’s working good and the best part about it is I don’t even have to do anything I just while I’m building

Around the base I’m in range of the farm and we get all of those flowers for for nothing basically so all of this is really coming together guys I really I’m enjoying this build and I hope you are tooth let me know if you have any uh

Tips or suggestions for this little area so along with the garden house we have to add a nether Hub that’s gonna be something we need to work on eventually here and and pass through the Nether and stuff we have absolutely nothing going on in there besides some arrows and an

Absolute disaster so that’s something uh Jake actually has a tunnel in there that we can connect to so the nether Hub obviously the catacombs the uh big bridge um that’s gonna be a huge project coming up and beef tunnel now the faith tunnel let’s go actually I’ll show you right now

We’re gonna finish the episode working over there a little bit faith has connected me and her bases through a underground tunnel and yeah it’s a little messy right now but it’s just a framework right here this connects all the way to her base so first thing we

Need to do to kind of make this a little better eventually we’re going to connect this to our catacombs which only we can actually connect to right now so I’m going to try and connect the catacombs entrances right here um and this is our main entrance

We should be able to connect to the tunnel she’s created through this entrance we actually need to fix this room up a little bit too but so I’m going to try and connect that tunnel widen it up a little bit and work with her on a block palette we want for that tunnel

All right here we are one of our many ways of getting around this world is complete over here well obviously it’s it’s almost complete it’s moderately finished this the entrance on our end right here from the tunnel uh we can get in there or as I said earlier we use

This area over here the entrance to the catacombs where I kind of decorated it up a little bit more you know just to make it seem legit so there it is you can see the river overhead still to the catacombs and it’s closed in this is

Much nicer now now if we come down in here boom this way this is a unfinished uh tunnel segment that will lead up into the tunnel right here and that goes back up where we just were so this is the tunnel we come we dug it out completely

Three tall two wide and then put in this floor we have to go down obviously we ran out of calcite so that’s why that’s unfinished right there we’ll fly all the way down here and it’s it is actually quite while we’re bonking our head here that’s that’s an unfinished part

Um it’s quite a long tunnel considering our bases are so what feels like they’re so close together and and here we are wow I’m about to die doing that um but you can fly down the tunnel so that’s kind of kind of a good benefit there

Um and we’ll come all the way out at the top here boom here we are and we are over at Faith space and obviously it’s incomplete guys but the floor is done and the base framework is done and we come out right over here near her little camel farm which is actually very

Impressive looking little camel farm and it also has a sheep in here I just found out that some of them are this is Harris Henry and Henrietta so I don’t know what that’s about and then there’s a sheep so interesting little place over here and that little tunnel will just be our

Little secret passage between me and Faith space but today guys we have put in a lot of work with building and I hope you’ve enjoyed all of the builds today it has been a lot I mean just look at this area over here we completed this whole thing in today’s video this path

Over here this planter this River going through this whole little area I just I’m very happy with the progress guys so in the next episode we will be doing some good stuff and possibly starting our first mega bass project over with the bridge connecting me and
