Minecraft 1.18 NO SLEEP EXPLORING + ENCHANTING! (#5)

Hi everybody it’s me my special request it’s back For one more episode only the fish intro is back welcome back to hardcore minecraft episode number four also by popular demand this is not the last episode so earlier on in the series when i started it i said we would be ending it by episode number five not only is

That gold technically impossible completely unachievable right now with where we are but the series is so popular today we’re going to do something completely different and not end the series next episode we will see don’t judge me okay i’m working on it but yes i’m going to use

Over half of the iron that i have left on a compass because of the way things are going because of the things that i need to go other ways we need to explore today we’re going to explore which means two things map and map table it’s an

Explorer episode but at the same time that wouldn’t do it justice it’s not an explorer episode at all we’re going to look around a lot today but we’re also going to find fully zoomed out map there we go hopefully we can stay on this map today hopefully everything will be on

And felix was growling and felix was inside it was the wendigo i played myself i warned myself that if i didn’t leave a like on last episode then a wendigo could show up and sure enough a wendigo showed up at my house it was pretty crazy now i’m not saying a

Windigo will show up if you don’t leave a like but i’m just saying it could happen there is a theoretical technical possibility that that happens so just consider it so much coal so much oars this is perfect i told you we’re solving the iron problem today and the

Plan that i have to find another fortress last episode we went into the nether it went insanely well i came out of the nether with 17 ender pearls the first trip and we survived the whole thing that’s a win to me however nether fortress the nether is insanely glitchy

Right now it’s really really rough it’s going to be a challenge to find another fortress i came up with a plan though the plan is pretty simple it involves gold piglens lava and striders so in the oval world i find gold i take the gold

To a furnace i smelt the gold up after i smelt the gold up i take that gold with me into the nether i go up to the ceiling of the nether dig a big giant room hopefully inside of that big giant room somewhere a piglet will spawn then

I take the gold and remember very important part of the story i already smelted the gold up i take the gold i give it to the piglen and then the penguin hopefully eventually gives me a fire resistance potion i take the fire resistance potion drink it splash it on

Myself whatever jump all the way down into the lava with a saddle jump on top of a strider sail around on the ocean should be wide open find another fortress go in get the blaze rod leave boom easy however the waddlers are smart you guys are really really smart honestly based

Off of some of the comments that i saw in the last episode you probably helped save the entire series so so thank you i don’t know why i didn’t realize this but lava doesn’t cancel fall damage i guess supposedly like water does so if i were to drink a

Fire resistance potion then just jump into the lava yeah that could actually be really bad i might take fall damage and and just end the series like that we’re gonna need to do things a little bit differently so that was the first realization that i had from the comments

Of the last episode thank you there was more though the second thing that i saw down there that is insanely helpful sand gravel gravity blocks how did i how did i completely forget about this absolute spoon moment for sure wait hold on was that just a popular minecraft youtuber

Crimson forest i think we can find a generating there on the land rarely problem even if i get on a strider i cannot control the strider so yeah my plan it works kind of maybe but there are a few problems with my plan too we’re gonna have to figure that stuff

Out nighttime number one with diamond armor this isn’t even a challenge at all this is very easy disgusting so skeletons at nighttime it’s kind of perfect i would love to find a pet a dog to help us with everything which means bones and skeletons bones that kind of works out

Baby zombie no hawaii not a chance i haven’t said anything about it quite yet but i’m actually insanely let down so that desert that we were just in where i was digging the sand giving the demonstration a second ago it’s so it’s over the this hazard is

But like not this many like just just stop just stop 11 that’s fine i’ve had every portal and i guess they’re all like glitched in the snapshot too actually like there’s never any lava by these room portals cursive binding protection for sure mending i guess and actually 22 noggins that’s insane

That’s crazy so actually speaking of gold this might be good that’s like nine chances nine [ __ ] nine chances at the potion and i mean sure to be more than safe we want more than one potion for the whole time i’m in the water but like i don’t need more than nine potions

I might not even need one potion to be honest the desert though the desert is over there are a couple things that i’m looking for today like gold and hopefully at least one diamond but a saddle a saddle is the big one in preparation for today’s episode i did a

Little bit of research saddles so obviously we can’t craft these things we’re gonna have to find it somewhere if we’re looking to find a saddle we’re gonna want to look in the dungeon the bastion remnant the desert temple and city jungle temple nether fortress stronghold or village

Or village or village when it comes to saddles those aren’t technically the only options there is at least one more option which is raid we take the ravager out we get a saddle but that’s a little too much cartographer cartographer you’re in the way of a chest i knew it trying to hide

The paper only paper i mean it makes sense here look buddy let me let me actually help you out here you can have all of that stuff too you need some help a farm with carrots we don’t have those yet oh yeah i keep forgetting to say but i got a

Potato earlier on in the series hey wait two bells isn’t that a little excessive i keep forgetting to say but i actually do have potatoes i got them from one of the zombie hordes that spawned down on the caves i think earlier on in the series

It was pretty sweet we do a raid to get a saddle but i think finding one in one of the loot chests is going to be way better we can actually find one inside of a village luchaz which i didn’t even realize another specific houses that

We’re looking for we can find them in a weaponsmith chest a tanner chest or apparently a savannah house chest tanner house chest is this tanner house no tanner house is the one with cauldrons right you’re a nitwit a chest really a knit wit with a child that’s a

Terrible idea you can’t even work all right so that village is a gigantic let down but we won’t let us stop us we keep moving circling back around to that desert that i found earlier it ended early i was really hoping i’d be able to find a desert temple inside of that

Desert and then we could move on to something else like diamonds but it’s fine really i don’t care i think the best bet for finding a saddle is obviously going to be staying in the biomes that a saddle can actually generate it like the desert is this

Actually a desert no that’s not a desert that’s an island it’s a turtle island the other things that we’re looking for today gold that’s pretty easy i could find it down in the mines which is simple or in different loot chests maybe more ruined portals we already have nine which is really good

My goal was like 16 gold it’s not much but i think it would do and then diamonds which sound like they could be tricky but i think it could be pretty easy if we could find a shipwreck out of the sea and even more specifically a shipwreck that has the back portion

Intact all we have to do is open the loot chest and then there should be diamonds i think there’s almost always diamonds in there so the planes biome this looks good is that a desert oh wait hold on hold on hold on hold on i just realized

Something so far this world that we’re in has been oddly flat it’s very interesting minecraft 1.18 is going to be all about the caves they’re getting revamped but it’s not only about the caves it’s also about the mountains and would you take a look at that okay that’s a

Lie that’s just a hill but mountains i completely forgot about mountains i was about to end this whole series go to the end without seeing any of the 1.18 mountains it’s a new goal not necessarily for today but at some point before the series ends we need to find a mountain

And we have to climb it oh it’s like a ravine with like water in it that’s kind of cool so suspicious too what do you give me a new recipe nice nice oh it’s jump booze it’s jump boos it’s only for like three more seconds two more it’s probably gone now

But jump boos we can jump a little bit more that was fun that was exciting it was a rush that was a thrill bowl it was so nice knowing you it was so great just wait right here wait right there don’t go anywhere i’ll be back for you one day

Not today not tomorrow but one day all right so possible locations for a saddle i think our best bet would have been a desert temple i feel like i always find them there another nice thing would be a dungeon i feel like i have pretty good luck with dungeons but that’s back under

The ground i don’t really want to do that so that leaves us two other big ones that i think is going to be pretty easy to find a saddle in instead of a raid or trading or anything like that i think that leaves us with villages and jungle temples shipwreck with the back

Off of the map but we should be able to find a jungle temple in there hopefully we find a jungle temple we go into the jungle temple and then hopefully inside of that jungle temple we get a saddle no i’m so sorry food there you go i think i healed it

I’m pretty sure i healed it get the skeleton yeah that’s right you coward you coward you chicken you run from a dog it’s just one dog so is this gonna be a problem though it will the dog lock onto the skeleton and not teleport to me yeah that might be a problem

Definitely if i’m looking for a village the tige is a great place to look though they have those fancy tiger villages with the campfires the campfires make them stand out if you’re above the trees and above the trees not a problem it’s a very small tiger

It’s already really really dark at night time i think the dark oak forest is a terrible spot to go we’re not going to go there oh no that’s a creeper that’s a creeper we need to keep the dog far away from the creeper as far as possible come

On come on buddy let’s go let’s go let’s go keep moving keep moving we’re getting through this forest we’re done with the forest nighttime without a pet not a problem at all night time with a pet it’s terrible most stressful thing in the world i feel like i’m responsible

For a baby and there are explosive things all over the place creepers that want to explode one wrong turn and a creeper blows up takes my pet out and it’s all my fault exactly like that like that let’s go keep moving can you run faster please you know what would be

Amazing right now is the planes bomb if i could just get back to the planes but i’m right over there and just be in the open like i would feel so much better about that about things like that i could see the creep i could see the

Maybe it is maybe it’s not i’m not too sure these tall birch forest bottoms are so cool like i don’t know i feel like the atmosphere in this place is like really really cool like with the tall trees and everything yeah it’s just cool it’s hurting my dog it’s been

Know i’ve already seen one but it’s so cool it never gets old with the drip leaf things right here i mean i guess it’s really not much this one it isn’t much but it’s so cool so at this point i’ve circled fully back around somewhere over here i think

Hopefully there should be the jungle hopefully that jungle that we had spawned in it ends up being somewhat sizable at least a little bit bigger than the desert we found at the beginning and even more hopefully whoa whoa whoa another watch caves wow i know it’s going to change and it’s

Maybe not the best right now all of the surface caves are usually flooded but the new caves are so cool like it’s so interesting finding one the jungle here we are hopefully this jungle is bigger than the desert and hopefully inside of this jungle somewhere a jungle temple

The funny thing about all this today is even if we do find a saddle i don’t even know if this is all going to work like we might have to just go with the backup plan which is go back over to where i was farming i didn’t make a staircase

Down and then hopefully i can find another fortress over there by the land even if i get down to the nether ocean put a saddle on a strider like like then what like like what do i do then if i can’t find a warm fungus anywhere nearby

Then i’m stuck good news and bad news the jungle continues out this way which is great bad news it looks like potentially this place might get entirely cut off by the dark oak forest over here yeah yep exactly this is a bamboo jungle though which means pandas it’s a bamboo jungle

Which means pandas they can’t do anything with the pandas completely pointless in this world but pandas okay uh well never mind on the pandas and never mind in the jungle temple they’re not here you want to see my face right now i’m not impressed so that is a huge

Bummer in fact one of the biggest bummers of all time i’m taking the dog back to the base but truly it’s not about the saddles that we found or didn’t find it’s about the friends that we made along the way okay okay yeah yeah what i meant by that

Is that we’re probably not gonna find a saddle today i i should make sure this dog’s health is full like all the way are you good yeah you’re good you’re good uh okay let’s let’s make it changing so earlier on i mined a lot of obsidian when i mined a lot of obsidian

I got four extra obsidian that actually ended up working out perfectly we have two diamonds now and i have a lot of sugar cane i think i yes yes there’s even more in here right there we should have way more than enough sugar cane to make this full enchantment set up and

Leather so leather is going to be close it’s going to be pretty close here 30 leather we need 46 total we could at least start the enchantment setup and then maybe i could go find more leather if i convert all of the gold nuggets that i have into gold ingots

I get two more i i get two more and then if i take this block of gold and break it down i have 11. plus six right there i mean it’s a little over 16. i guess it’s a start book number one enchantment table number one and number only this

Will be the only enchantment table of the entire world so i was looking around at the base here clearly there’s not enough room for an enchanting setup inside of the house unfortunately it’s very sad but true however there is enough room for an enchanting setup say i don’t know

Right here if i take this tree down i could definitely have an enchanting setup right there sooner or later these cobs are going to be ready to eat again looks like they’re ready to eat right now i don’t know if the breeder will work yet it sounds like there’s a lot of

Baby cows in there maybe not yep it kind of works right there eight more leather look at that 37 oh no even more 39 we’re so close considering the fact that i have so much deep slate now and we’re making an enchanting setup though i’m gonna need a new building too i could

Easily set up a small building right here with just the enchantment table it doesn’t need to be big it doesn’t need to be too fancy it just needs to have room for the enchantment table which means we could put the outer walls right there on the back side we could do the

Back wall right here and then i think maybe this time on this build will leave the front of the build completely open i think it’ll look cool i think i can make it look pretty good i’m gonna do that but wait hold on i think i may have come

Up with a very cool idea what if maybe and just maybe if i can make it work we do the bookshelves like that i could come back to build even more by doing trap doors right there up here i leave it like kind of open like i’m going for

Like an open feel i think that could work so maybe i like move that and i don’t know i i leave it open like that and i have the trapdoors on the bottom so you don’t even know their bookshelves from the outside compacts to build makes it look even better looking i think

It’ll work out perfectly i think it’ll be really good and we can get this enchantment set up to level 30 in no time i breathe this thing one more time i’ll have way more than enough leather if i can’t breed it i can go back off to

The field and find like three cows and take them out i have enough leather i think this is gonna work out i think this is going to work out perfectly So build reveal in five four three two one here it is check this out so i tried on a different roof line it starts with the slab then it goes up to a staircase staircase yeah it’s like that it’s like similar but different okay at least i

Think it’s different no no yeah yeah that’s definitely different it only made sense i did the swoop up bit on that building i did the swoop up bit over here the roof is a little bit different though like i seriously don’t think i’ve ever built a roof in this shape right

Here this was originally two slabs i changed it to a staircase to make the side look a little bit better but enchanting the big thing is this right here check that out diamond pickaxe efficiency four that’s not quite it so now that i have a level 30 enchantment set up in here it’s

Time to enchant we’re looking for only the best enchantments here nothing like efficiency for i don’t have the levels to be able to spare but there is also one more tool that i could definitely use in the end which is a bow or potentially a cross bow too i don’t know

The recipe oh that’s the recipe okay a crossbow there it is genuinely i think this is one of the first crossbows that i’ve ever crafted what enchantment piercing four okay that’s really really good or on breaking three knock back two efficiency four on breaking three or

Piercing four i think it is a no-brainer piercing four we will use this for the dragon now the other ones knock back two again no way efficiency four that’s not it and on breaking three all right all right i have one chance to roll this over we’ll upgrade the iron

Sword to that the final try looting three okay knock back to you every time so touch that is nice that is nice for sure and power four silk touch please be worth it ah kind of worth it we’ll do more enchanting in the future i may or may

Not have slept while working on the build out of routine habit i wouldn’t be able to say i’m not too sure but this is the build i think it turned out pretty cool piercing for quick [ __ ] wait quick charge 2 actually too i didn’t even think about it but that’s actually

Pretty decent that’s a nice bow and by the way i used up literally every single last bit of leather that i have i need to breathe the cousin and get more but anyways that’s gonna do it for episode number five of the hardcore 1.18 experimental snapshot number two
