Minecraft 1.21 Update: EPIC New Features!

So Minecraft 1.21 was revealed and we’ve been shown loads of new features this includes new Mobs new structures new mechanics and much much more now today I will of course be talking about all these new features so on with the video the First new feature that will be added

Players and the Chamber certainly includes some exciting challenges so what we’re looking at here in the center of everything is the corridor the corridor leads to different rooms and it can lead to supply chests you can find things that’ll challenge you but also things that’ll help you the

Replayability okay these actually look really cool I can’t wait to explore the so as you heard the trial chamber will generate underground in the Overworld each trial chamber that generates will always be different this means the trial chamber structure will come in many different variants with varying Loot and

Blocks the structure is mostly composed of copper related blocks but it’s also made of a new variant of the tough blocks since trial Chambers will be made from copper blocks the structure itself will likely oxidize and change appearance over time which is really unique as no other structure does this

Like every other structure the trial chamber will contain chests but must be looted at your own risk as this structure is home to a new hostile mob now the new mob I’m talking about is called the breeze take a look ready to fight the breeze oh Yes I’ll let them take care of that the breeze is a playful hostile mob that jumps around and uses wind to provide a combat encounter unlike any other in Minecraft I just got hit by the wind charge a burst of energy from the bre the wind charge doesn’t deal any damage

The breeze will spawn in trial Chambers and behave by jumping and shooting projectiles at the player now these won’t be your normal projectiles as the breeze will shoot an attack that is known as wind energy this is a projectile that when it hits a player or entity will explode on impact it’s worth

Noting that the breeze will only deal damage to the player if the projectile hits you directly as of right now the breeze it doesn’t drop anything but this could be subject to change the next feature that will be added in 121 is the addition of a new mob spawner type now

Nearby so if it’s just you dealing with the spawner it will spawn a set number of mobs for one player to deal with however if there are for example three players nearby the spawner will take that into account and spawn an increased number of mobs for three players to

Handle not only that but the trial spawner will only spawn a limited amount of mobs at a time and then go on a cool down once the cool down of the trial spawner ends you can revisit the spawner and fight mobs once again another cool thing about Trial spawners is that you

Get rewards for killing the mobs from the spawner this is done by ejecting loot from the spawner itself which means you could be rewarded diamonds and emeralds for taking on mobs another cool thing about Trial spawners is that it will have blocks surrounding the spawn spner that will theme the mob it spawns

So for example if you see ice blocks around the spawner it will spawn stays the next awesome feature that will be coming to 1.21 is the addition of autocrafting which comes in the form of a new blog that is called the crafter take a look it seems like you placed a crafter

Here yes with a crafter you can automate crafting with redstone it’s pretty similar to a crafting table a except instead of pulling the item out yourself you can use the Redstone pools to get it out I going to have this crafter make hanging signs everyone can decorate the village with

Place items where we want Them the crafter is so precious because you can both do these like really Advanced Contraptions and it’s also very welcoming so we hope that it will be delightful to use both for like Redstone beginners and Redstone experts okay I bet a lot of you Redstone fans are going to love this feature

Automatic crafting is going to be a GameChanger man the crafter is in the name really it’s basically a new redstone block that allows you to automatically craft items the crafter’s interface has slots in the form of a crafting grid that allows you to fill out the recipe of the items you want to

AutoCraft you can also click on empty slots within the crafter’s UI to disable that slot the disable mechanic allows the autoc crafter to work more efficiently when autocrafting items with redstone Minecraft 1.21 will also be introduced in a variety of new blogs this includes a new light source variant

Which is known as the copper bulb take a look and copper gets more uses too with the copper set we want to introduce a tinkered kind of feel and the new copper bulbs give players a fun way to light up their builds we actually just used some

Of them in our village and it created such a cozy feeling yeah these copper bulbs when they get oxidized they get quite dim but with this axe I can actually scrape off the oxidation and make it brighter again I love that mechanic so much that like the more

Oxidized the copper bulbs are the more dim the light will be I think it’s super interesting for storytelling definitely I I don’t even need to bring torches anymore to the trial Chambers I just bring an Axe and light my way through so the copper bulb is made from well copper

And like other copper blocks will oxidise over time what’s interesting is that the light level of the copper bulb is determined on how much the block has oxidized this means the more oxidized the bulb is the dimmer it becomes but you can reverse this by scraping off the

Oxidization with an axe other new blocks I could spot from the Minecraft live footage is the addition of copper doors and copper trap doors which look like this another noteworthy block I could spot where these copper mesh looking blocks and I don’t know visually these look really cool and I think Builders

Will really like them and of course we have the new to block variant which as I mentioned before compos most of yeah I think the tough Block Set will be a lot of fun to build with because of its geometrical design I’m really looking forward to exploring these trial

Chambers but anyways let’s look at the mob vote so another New Mob is going to be added in 1.21 but this mob was part of a mob vote between two other mods so which mod won the vote so the three mobs that were in competition with each other
