A thousand curses upon you or around 18 and welcome to every bewitchment curse my name is laura thorne and well let’s get into all the various different curses as i said there is like maybe 17 possibly less curses they can all be found in the book of shadows

Under curses here oh look at that lovely list of curses go amount to them you can count them if you want to i’m not going to right there so let’s get into curses and how you get the curses are going well basically to unlock curses in this

Book because things need to be unlocked you’ll need to kill yourself a demon with any sword of your choice really i mean different swords will make it different difficulties and this will give you the demon heart demon heart core component and a lot of curses and

It is the actual thing not killing the demon became the demon heart which unlocks you while getting the stuff that’s only the first step though of course you will also need to make a brazier this funky little thing right here pretty nifty they can do more stuff than cursing but

That’s what we’re concerned with along with the brazier you’ll need a flint of steel and tag locks of yourself lots and lots of tag locks of yourself like like an absurd amount you wouldn’t believe how many taglocks of yourself you’ll need well actually don’t get teglox of

Yourself because the taglock will be the target of the curse i am cursing myself here as i don’t have anyone else to play with but i wouldn’t recommend actually take locking yourself with these curses do it to the person you want cursed i mean there might be some cases where you

Want to curse yourself but i can’t really see that anyways we already did um some curses on myself which i’m going to have to clear so we’re going to go slash curses this is important curses myself and remove sorry and clear and that will remove all curses that were on me

Because that’s a little little awkward to have curses on yourself so we’re going to remove them i tried to record earlier but people are having a dance party or something and the music was driving me slightly insane let’s get into the curses then enough preamble so the very first curse

Is the curse of apathy this will require demon heart ectoplasm and a skeleton skull now to get the curse going you’re going to need your little fun thing here the brazier you’re going to need a witch’s altar and a power source uh usually flowers and stuff around it we’re using the

Chitty blusted stone but anyways you get all those together then you put the things in so your target that’s myself we get the ectoplasm we get the demon heart and we get the skeleton skull put those all in there and then when you are ready to curse the target

Light that bad boy up they’ll start smoking them burning away and they shall be cursed with apathy now apathy has some interesting effects on it it makes you repugnant to animals and they will run away from you as you can see now these guys want to be

Near me now they all seem to like to run in the same direction which i don’t really understand that but they’ll do their best to get away from you so it um makes you feel rather lonely in this old world now the other effect of apathy to compound that lonely feeling

Is that villagers will no longer want to trade with you see in this house we have a photographer he’s not a knucklehead he’s actually a guy who would normally trade with a person but with us he’s like nope can’t do business with you you’re cursed with apathy sorry mate don’t like you

So if you really want to mess with someone who’s trying to abuse the trading system then um make sure to curse them with apathy and then there will no longer be market abuse or anything else like that and their a pet dog won’t like them anymore the next curse is the curse of

Arachnophobia however if you want to get a new curse going in your own little brazer here you have to put the old one out see all these little flames there so you right click it and poof the flames go out now it’s time for your new curse

This next one is the curse of arachnophobia put your victim’s taglock yet again into the brazier demon horn fermented spire eye and aspires web light that sucker up and that shall curse them with arachnophobia now arachnophobia seems to have some rather interesting effects we take this ordinary everyday spider

And we kill it with another sword and um well cave spiders burst out of it and it is awful you’ve never quite seen quite a mess like this it’s it’s like definitely would make me afraid of spiders out i don’t know if this applies to all mobs

Exploding with spiders but we can um certainly tell no so there’s only spiders but anyways uh best not to kill spiders anymore as cave spiders will burst out them so if you curse so on this it will get them an absolutely nasty surprise when they are trying to farm for some string

Our next curse is called army of worms now this curse is a little bit weird it takes vine a contiat and demon horn and the lock light it with a fling of steel you’ll get the person a very peculiar curse which in application is just weird see it’s

Going to be very hard to witness but basically it makes it so plants don’t grow near them so these crops growing progression will actually be really slowed so if you have a rival witch and you’re both trying to grow your plants up really fast then you can curse that other witch with

The curse of army of worms and they will no longer get their rose garden growing the way they wanted to now it even seems to have the effect over bone meal making it so the plants take even forever to grow even when the bone meal is applied so this will really tax

The local farmers and make their life quite difficult if you curse them with the army of worms so be kind to your local farmer and support them by not cursing them with horrible dark magics next is the curse of compromised which well it compromises the target leaving them rather vulnerable

So we’ll trigger this one and what it does is it makes effects stronger so this here is ordinary splash potion of poison one however it is now poison two as we have been compromised and we’re more susceptible to negative effects if we take this normal potion of weakness and throw it down

Should be weakness one but it’s given us weakness too again quite nasty so if you wish to compromise someone you can curse them with well compromised kind of hard to say cursing with compromise i’ve been cursed with compromise i’ve been compromised by a curse of compromised hmm yeah don’t know about the naming

Conventions on that one this next curse is the curse of forest wrath it takes vines fire charge and earth acre and this will make you more vulnerable to things our trees are vulnerable to so i guess the forest is taking its wrath out on you and now you’re like it

Anyways fire hurts a lot more now and if someone swings their axe at you it sucks so fire is um definitely hurting us faster than normal fire although it’s kind of hard to determine how fast normal fire hurts and vindicators should have a field day with us

Uh one shotting us which is well not the greatest thing in the world to have happen to you after forrest wrath we have my favorite curse the curse of insanity so what does this curse do well it drives you insane once the curse has taken hold of us we’ll start seeing some

Pretty crazy stuff so it basically spawns random monsters that are unheard-able in your local area and they will just spook you every once in a while now the effects of this curse seem to vary this quite random and i quite like it because they’ll just be walking along

Minding your own business and suddenly there’s a skeleton and it’s not burning up in the daylight and it’s attacking you with arrows and they hurt but when you hit it back it does nothing and what’s going on how could this be there’s some sort of monster out here

An insane entity that is striking you but you can’t strike it back and they’re actually not meant to be able to hurt you however the skeletons cause a bit of a bug in which they um get around that by shooting with arrow entities and that’s actually really bad

Like really really bad bug uh we’re going to have to just clear our curses here i think but yeah the insanity just summons random monsters out of nowhere that are meant to not be able to deal any damage and they will um attack you repeatedly however it appears that the skeleton hallucinations fire

Very real and non-hallucinatory arrows so that’s fun now if you want to make someone feel unlucky you can curse them with lightning rod they’re taglock some econite iron ingot heavenly abstract and you turn that bad boy on now you’re like okay that’s just the curse but what does it actually do

Well when the weather is set to um stormy that’s where things get interesting see if they’re on a thunderstorm for whatever reason and they have the curse of lightning rod then their life isn’t going to be the greatest thing in the world as the lightning will now be attracted to them like okay

I got hit by lightning i feel a little bit unlucky oh well i’ll go about it all my life this is no no skin off my back it’s just a little lightning rod and oh oh i’ve been hit again by a lightning rod that’s that’s just kind of unfair well what’s

Going on okay well this is just silly um okay but it’s still a coincidence twice is still a coincidence i mean it’s it’s a little odd but once is random twice coincidence i’m fine though it’s not like i’m gonna get hit by another lightning bolt that’d be oh okay this is just getting

Absurd right someone’s cursed me i have to have to deal with this and then you go and bend sleep so that there’s no longer any thunderstorms getting you but still well while they’re out there you’re you’re screwed you’re a lightning rod now now if you want to make them feel

Really unlucky you can curse them with misfortune this takes grim extract mandrake root a bottle of blood and of course their taglock as always and you like that courtesy up that puppy going and it’ll give them misfortune misfortune will just give them random misfortune status effects oh there we go we’ve randomly been

Poisoned man misfortune would basically gaslight you like what what the heck am i poisoned now what’s what’s going on oh man that’s that’s a cool curse misfortune is um it seems very irritating though very irritating indeed so yes that is the curse of random misfortune now a curse that might make someone in

The nether quite unhappy or someone in the end that very very unhappy is the curse of outrage and then it’s an outrageous curse so when someone’s being cursed with outrage taking the nether wart blood and i believe that was um crystals of some sort uh and nether crystals nether quartz yes

Anything that would be passive such as a i don’t know hoglan or piglin or enderman will now spawn in absolutely livid at your existence and they will continually hunt you down until you either remove the curse or you happen to kill them luckily the frame has seemed to save us from its wrath

For the moment but you may think to yourself okay well we’ve dealt with the enderman and as long as it’s not raining i’m fine i won’t get struck by lightning and so i can go outside i enjoy myself well if the witch has a particular nasty vendetta against you

They can give you a relatively cheap curse which is your taglock the belladonna cleansing balm and a gold ingot now that actually seems like a pretty lovely recipe however it is a very very potent and unpleasant curse this is a curse of solar hatred and it makes you

Like that of zombie when you are in daylight you will catch fire there we go it took a moment to kick in yes you are now vulnerable to the sun’s very existence you are like a zombie or a vampire although it doesn’t seem 100 consistent

And this will just happen on and off so you can’t be safe outside you have to quite literally hide indoors and be recluse much like a vampire has to be in such existences which is well absolutely lovely right well these curses seem to be having a joy old time

With us so why don’t we just pile them on with the curse of susceptibility now this is uh everyone’s favorite curse because it does allow you to become a vampire or werewolf and it requires just a little bit of your taglock belladonna mandrake root and a demon heart

Now this curse has some very fun aspects to it it makes you more vulnerable to all other curses making them nastier to you also makes it so as said here demons will absolutely wreck you and water uh slows you down so if you’re in water you now have slowness

And um sinking which makes you descend to the bottom so we’re susceptible to water so we’re not safe from water with this curse demons hit us it hurts a lot more um things in the dark become nastier poison is also worse so if we take a trusty old poison bottle here um

Yep it’s holy cow that is painful poison sheesh isn’t life wonderful and if we uh happen to get killed by a werewolf or a vampire and we have the item that will protect us from dying such as the the tome of undying this doohickey here then we would become a werewolf for a

Vampire however luckily there’s none of those around so we won’t be cursed with horrible hairiness or awful immortality indecent immortality that works better yes right in fact i’m feeling quite unlucky because of all these curses that have been put on me and the next curse that you just saw there

Taking that group of ingredients is the curse of unluckiness or just unlucky the unlucky curse yes the unlucky curse taking the demon horn snake’s tongue and silver ingot now this makes it so your fortunes are not quite as fortunate as you may think fortune 3 pickaxe we’re going to get

Tons of diamonds here okay um well then that’s um well um oh okay oh not that kind of fortune it means the fortunes of a crystal ball will not work i see because right because you take yourself a crystal ball and you put it down and when you look into a

Crystal ball it’ll tell you something about your future so powerful beast awaits me you see here crystal ball is um when you use it with me in your altar then it will give you a fortune and the curse then of unlucky means that your fortunes do not always show

Favor to the victims so fortunes are usually a good thing like you’ll find yourself a new friend and then you’ll get a dog or fish will fall from the sky and then fish will fall from the sky it’ll be great but this curse means that your fortunes

Won’t always be great so the powerful beast might just be a giant monster that mugs me i understand for our final curse we have the curse of weak lungs which should trigger any moment now okay let’s let’s try that again the curse of weak lungs which should upon trigger

Death anyways the curse of weak lungs means that we um sprinting is harder apparently and also we start to drown instantly we we can’t hold our breath under water which really sucks especially when combined with that other curse and yeah no no um weak lungs is kind of awful because we

Just drowned nearly the sprinting thing’s not even part of it but drowning immediately well that sucks and uh those are the curses of bewitchment they they kind of suck and we have a whole bunch of them on us um now i don’t know how buying this for

This totem have been dying to me i do know how to tie a death protection puppet to myself which we shall do now i do know how to set tonight which we’ll also do now that we’re protected from death and we have all these compounding curses on us

Why not compound one more so the curse as i said earlier of uh what’s it called susceptibility makes you more susceptible to curses while those curses being the vampire now since we are immune to death but we happen to have that on cursors we’ve now been cursed with vampirism
