Hey guys cost me here again today I’m gonna bring you a tutorial on how to take your minecraft single-player Maps and turn them into multiplayer maps it’s pretty simple and just takes a couple couple of minutes but it’s really easier if you have if you yourself host the Servers and it is possible to send the files over but um I would suggest hosting the server yourself so okay first thing we’re gonna do is create a new world I’m just going to do this so you so you can see that it is the same World and I’m not just pulling your leg on this so I’m just gonna go ahead and create a tower a little tower so I can all right sorry creamy okay so I’ve got plenty here that should be good all right I’m going to do is just that’s just throwing a couple more Okay that should be good just kind of take a look at the landscape around me and a batch of pumpkins over there but that’s that’s pretty good okay now what I’m gonna do is just even quit and next thing we can just close out of this for now The next thing you do is go to run if you don’t know what run is if you have Vista or 7 go to start and type and run and it’s your first option there or if you have if you have XP we can go to start there should be a run button over Here somewhere and just click that and you should come up with this so I’m just type in exactly what I have here which is percent AppData percent ok and then find your dot minecraft folder should be near the top alright next thing I want To do is go to save and find your world that you just created which was YouTube and just push this off for a second ok next thing I want to do is pull up my minecraft this is where I keep all my Minecraft servers that I have Alright and I’ll just have this one because another YouTube video I’m working on but we’ll just copy that server and go to get a new folder and put in new server or just that’s fine open that up paste the server let’s just take a second and I’ll just let you know about This one thing that does not that does not get copied over when you do this method is your inventory if you have chests if you have anything stored in chests they get they get copied over but anything in your inventory does not so when you when you spawn when you spawn In the map on this new server again you don’t have anything in your inventory so I would suggest creating a couple chests and just keeping everything in there so if I go in my world folder you see I have all the same I have the same level Options here so session lock level dot that old level dot dot read okay so what I’m gonna do to just copy these sort of just move them over whichever is easier and just move and replace that’s all you need to do actually let’s do let’s do this hold on a second I’m Messed up I’m sorry so okay so I have all my folders over here so when I go over here it’s easier if you just copy so you don’t lose anything I’m sorry I just kind of I went into that so we’re just gonna do that and paste so it’s a copy and paste And you can do copy and replace do this for everything and yes yes everything and it doesn’t look like anything has changed it looks like everything has stayed the same but what you don’t see is everything inside these folders that has copied over so I go back over here And I start up my server again see ya has to read reset the spawn area yes this is going I’ll just open up my minecraft again and my server is ready so go ahead and start this for the most part every time I’ve tried I’ve spawned Within a decent distance of my like this and within a decent distance of my original spawn point in my single-player sometimes you will spawn a little bit further away you might have to do some walking but that’s just because this is multiplayer and you know they do have to Spawn they do have to think about the 20 or so people that could be on this service so they have different spawn points but as you can see this is the same map that I just dug out the sand and built a tower with and again I if You noticed in the single-player I had two – sand in my inventory but now I have nothing but like I said that’s pretty simple to fix all you do is setup BA a couple a couple of chests near your spawn point but that’s about it if you have any questions just let me Know I will I’ll try to answer them as best I can but um I hope this helped Video Information
