Minecraft NON EUCLIDEAN House!

Hey guys welcome back to another video today i’m going to attempt to use a non-euclidean minecraft mod to build a house that seemingly breaks the rules of physical space this is nothing like anything i’ve ever tried before so if you enjoy the video let me know with a like

Subscribe and a ring of the bell let’s get started so to achieve this effect i’m using the immersive portals mod and the pekui mod which both allow for seamless transitions through 3d space now what’s interesting let me let me build let me let me just put together a quick example

Already you can see that some things are a little strange based on what things look like through these portals but if you’re confused by what you’re seeing here it’s not gonna get any easier when i step through the portal but i’m gonna go through the small one come out the big one and

Appear twice my size oh i love this let’s go through this one again and we are [Laughter] oh it’s so good let’s go the other way around real quick let me uh crouch get through here it’s a bit of a tight squeeze crouch through here again go through here one more time

And we’re small i could go through again if i wanted to but things get kind of ridiculous yeah we are quite tiny oh my goodness so we are gonna try and use this technology to build ourselves a house that appears smaller than it actually is i have an idea for how i could

Accomplish this let me get myself back to the right size before i do this so here’s my plan i’m going to create a fake entrance and somewhere else somewhere completely out of you i’ll probably do it way over on the other side of the village

I am going to build a 6×6 version of this i actually could probably accomplish this as if it were just a portal but i do kind of want to mess with my scale because that is super fun yeah let’s go three by three to two by two to make it just a little

Bit interesting in terms of the scale let’s kind of make our faux house if you will right over here actually you don’t even need to build the entire house around this it could just be one block thick that’s kind of funny actually you know what we’re gonna do that

That’s hysterical now i’m thinking about it yeah just build up this whole thing up to a wall and then i’m gonna cover the top in like smooth stone slabs or something and that is gonna be our house that appears way um smaller than it is because you’re

Gonna open the door and you’re gonna see what’s through this portal over here i like where this is going it might be a little awkward given that we’re building a house for a player that is bigger than usual but i don’t think it’s gonna be that big of a deal

I just i just kind of need to figure it out as i go unfortunately there’s going to be no shaders full like you know beauty shots But i am fully okay with that given that we’re breaking the rules of what most people consider common science i really don’t know what kind of practicality this house needs to have i’m pretty sure if you’ve broken the laws of 3d space you’re kind of some ethereal being that doesn’t really

You know care about certain rules i just had another idea i just had another great idea hang on one second we are gonna add non-euclidean spaces to the house something rubbing me the wrong way with how this looks but again i’m really not in this for aesthetics i’m in this for what’s

Possible in 3d space and to be perfectly honest this shouldn’t be but i think that’s where the fun lies okay so we’ve got that on that side that on that side now i’ve got an idea i’m both excited and nervous because i don’t know

If you know me using this mod in the way that i’m using it is going to end up breaking reality as we know it in minecraft but hopefully it’s not too bad we’re going to duplicate this whole entrance on this side it’s going to be a little lower no

It’ll be the same size whatever we’re not worried about materials this is not a starter house this is a proof of concept therefore i’m free to do whatever i want and call it art let me put a bed in here let’s go black bed black bed singing in the dead of

When i go through that’s totally okay though i am a huge fan of this i’m also kind of tall right now dang i’m kind of tall what if i do this i go like this then i go find the house and i break into the top and i keep

Making that loop am i just gonna get smaller oh yeah i’m definitely gonna get smaller i’m smaller i’m small now yeah i mean i’m not isn’t there a scale command scale set one okay that’s regular what about point one oh oh that’s so small and you guys are not gonna believe what

Else i have oh i’m so tiny this is adorable let me actually put a backdrop on the outside of this if i’m in there i’ll see those blocks right yeah okay good good good good so there is a minecraft house that exists in non-euclidean space how cool is that

Oh this is awesome i’m getting i know this is like super nerdy stuff but i’m getting so giddy about this right now wow i don’t know what else i really have to say it has almost been 24 hours since that last clip you just saw and i’ve come to a realization

About this house yes it’s kind of interesting that you become three blocks tall when you walk in but how much cooler would it be if these textures all lined up and you know it wasn’t as obvious that there was a transition in you know location what the heck oh yeah um also

Uh last night i was messing with the scale of mobs and uh because that’s something you okay hang on uh one at e bye okay there we go so here is what i’m going to do i’m going to go into this house here you yes you okay get rid of you and i’m

Going to get rid of the other one does it get rid of the other one or are you still a portal into the room that’d be very strange if that was the case that does appear to be the case it’s very weird okay go away i

Am going to make it so this entrance is two blocks by two blocks i know it’s gonna mess with it it’s not gonna be perfectly symmetrical anymore but i want to see if this effect looks any better i feel like it will and then hopefully this just works

Because if it does that’d be very cool where the heck are you what are you doing up there no no no no no no no no no no no you are no oh it’s because there’s no portal helpers around this anymore because i replaced the blocks to make it

The sizes match and it really kind of sells the illusion way better i mean as long as you stand right here and you can’t see the house over there cause ooh there’s a house there’s a house whatever kind of just look around you know flat wall there nothing really going on
