Hello everyone and welcome back this is episode nine of our all the magic spellbound let’s play last episode we killed the summoner a bunch of times to get a summoning table left that dimension came back to our home and built this really nice chest room which is now all organized so i

Have a pretty set organization that i go by every time and as we accumulate goods you know we’ll have plenty of space for them all and so after we made our chest room we started on the ours now beau mod which is a good beginner mod and was suggested by multiple users to

You know start there as a good starting point for getting ourselves equipped for this magical world so we made a spellbook and we have two spells so one is this magical projectile and the other is this block destroyer which is really cool and now

What we want to do is just kind of look into our artist now though book and just kind of see um in the getting started chopper there’s apparatus crafting and this is how you craft special like machines and so i think we’re going to get started here

Make this arcane stone which you make with um source gems and we found some of those mining so i’m i know that we have at least a few of those so let’s go get our source gems our bees and i don’t remember if you surround it

Which type of stone you surround it with let’s see possibly nope it might be a regular stone yep okay so here’s our cane stone so let’s do one two three four perfect and now if we look in our quests there’s the cliff press enchanting mage bloom fiber and source jar so we’re

Going to work on getting each one of those so the source jar is one arcane stone and glass okay so let’s grab some glass and see perfect there’s our source jar so let’s look at what a source jar is i don’t think that’s here i believe okay so source is a special resource

That must be gathered using devices in the world source is used for powering devices like the glyph press and enchanting apparatus to begin gathering source you’ll need a source jar and a source link okay so let’s there’s an agronomic source link all right and there’s an volcanic source link cool

It looks like the difference this agronomic source link generates from nearby crop and tree growth bonus monit is generated from magical plants such as mage blooms sores berry bushes and archwood saplings and then the volcanic source link consumes burnable items archwood logs will generate bonus mana with blazing archwood the arc arch

As the volcanic source link produces source it also produces heat and use for spawning lava lilies okay so My thoughts here are that we can just make both and see which one works for us because we have all of these things we’ll need four gold i’m glad i didn’t use all my source gems although i’m kind of running low i might only make one

I feel like this one’s passive and the volcanic is active oopsies so let’s grab some let’s grab a bucket we’ll get a bucket and our gold we only have seven gold and we have our swiss gyms so now let’s just go find some lava all right i’ll be right back when we get

And this might be one of them usually when they spawn on the over like the above ground there’s a lightning strike that denotes they’ve spawned but that one just spawned like inside its own dungeon and this one was just like sitting right here so i’m really not sure ooh titan mythic wow

Mythic huh that’s incredible look at that guys breaking seven mana region three magic protection eight wow oh wow look at my character she’s covered and then look at this helmet i have to be careful though i will i’m gonna repair that before i put it on because it doesn’t have any unbreaking

On it we got the bow too what he dropped a lot wow okay this has been a very successful trip to go get some lava okay so our our trip to get a bucket of lava has turned into a trip where we got two epic pieces of or an epic and a mythic

Armor piece and now we’ve stumbled across this underground another thing and i’m poisoned and dying a stray please call oh my goodness they’re all they’re like in diamond armor guys it’s a little much okay where’s my spellbook i’m gonna hit them with my spells uh okay

Easy am i good are those diamonds nope i’m getting away from you guys it’s not really doing a lot to him oh my goodness too many oh every time every time they’re terrible oh my goodness these are terrifying they hit each other oh geez

Get me out of here i don’t want to deal with this there’s silver fish everywhere okay okay all right yep I’m yeah i mean i guess i’m just in the lava i was hoping they’d get in there too just go together oh that was more than i wish to handle i your plate i i gotta get out of here guys you’re gonna kill me Oh my goodness i’ll just grab and go oh no that was far too chaotic for me there is a back button by the way thank you she ever told me to try that it does work but oh and they are all defaulted perfect accept him well

This is what my mining trip has turned into or my my lava bucket trip so transferring everything into that backpack is super nice i mean you have diamond armor oh i think i just got something for them i sure did oh that’s a winter skeleton i mean like there’s so many of them

Here i’ll go this way oh no i can’t even see oh gosh get me out of there just gonna heal on up there’s so many you hear them all i’m waiting to be able to eat again okay we should be good now i’m glad to see i’m surviving so well

Clearly this armor is doing me several favors i’m just looting this and not caring about them oh what’s this big big front room excuse me there’s so many i think i’ve been in one of these before and there’s like a central place with like netherright i would love to find

That and get another right piece even if it’s just like some scraps he’s like fully armored he has level 10 armor look at that that’s what he was wearing oh a mindy pickaxe sweet look at that that’s so much stuff ow excuse me i’m curious like where it could be though

Looks like it continues this way i don’t care too much about gluten here sorry i know you guys can’t see i didn’t intend on being down here so i didn’t bring torches usually it’s on the lowest level so that looks like it was the lowest level

My backpack picked it up i got this the pickup uh upgrade so that’s what it was doing all right we’ll turn that off for now it’s a little confusing so we need that and then here here oops and then arcane and oh gosh what went in the center i can’t remember uh

Let’s see oh a piston i don’t have a piston but i can remember i have sticky pistons okay let’s make that oh let’s grab a piece of redstone and some cobblestone and make a piston oh sorry i need wood all right and then one two one two one two okay there’s our piston

And let’s make our glyph press cool so let’s see what that does whoops All right accessing new spells requires a special machine designed to convert items into glyphs these glyphs can be used to unlock new spells in a spell book or may be used in a special crafting process okay oh and it needs a source provided by a sore star

First place your clay into the press then use the reagent okay cool what else potion jar i don’t have another word i can tell you that right now yeah okay so have to hold off on that enchanting yes mage bloom fiber oh i have mage bloom for sure one cool

Hello those are where the robes come from oh cool so i clearly need to plant some mage bloom let’s grab some mage bloom seeds or a single age bloom seed okay and then the magic clay is what you need yeah how do we make that

Well that’s not so bad i have a lot of clay actually i’ve just been saving it that’s perfect and then just use redstone and the um the source gym that’s not so bad at all i have a feeling we’re going to be in short supply of these source gyms after too long though

One two three four five okay that looks good let’s go get this setup out here i’m not quite sure what’s going to be required of it so i’m just going to set it up right here for now all right so there’s the source link there’s the glyph press and there’s the source jar

So my question is how do i nope not like that it said you can power it specifically with the art wood but also like what about other sources like coal and stuff is my question and i don’t think i have any special saplings that i know of all right let’s look

Get some coal and see hmm not that okay there’s the magical armor there’s the mage bloom seed there’s the apparatus crafting source generate source by consuming burnable items is cold burnable or does it need wood we’ll get both i just look stupid does it just turn red i figured it out by accident

It’s eating it and my sore star is filling up whoa i’m doing something was that empty before okay well do you eat coal yes you do okay okay we’re figuring it out somehow by accident all right and you can spawn lava lilies starting with the one closest to it

The volcanic source link will also take items from surrounding pedestals okay and then there’s the sore star they store it they are used for powering glyphs and rituals they power the glyph press which is what we have in the enchanting apparatus we don’t have that yet it can be moved

Using a bucket or the jar can be picked up and moved to use source in a jar simply place near your desired device it’ll provide a signal to redstone comparators okay comparators operators rich wood trees interesting i haven’t seen any of those that i know of

Okay and then there’s the glyphs so new spells you gotta get a glyph press we have the magical clay to use glyph press place your clay into the press then use the reagent provided on the press if there’s enough source the press will begin crafting okay so let’s put a clay on there

A clay okay it’s there and now look at all the cities this must be like the tears lift of touch clip of underfoot lift of projectile glyph of ruin we already have those uh maybe the glyph of maybe underfoot a stone pressure plate easy look at that okay so

What’s what were we supposed to do use the reagent provided on the press use it on the press that’s wicked look at that oh is it in my book now there it is targets the spell on the block beneath the player that’s so cool oh i love that how cool okay
