Minecraft: Storage House Tutorial (how to build)

G’day everyone and welcome back to another build tutorial in this one we’ll be creating this aesthetic storage house complete with 108 chests to make 54 double chests if you’re like me and love creating a separate building for your storage then this one will be perfect

For you and as always i’ll do a quick tour and showcase of the build so you can be sure this is something you want to create all right so starting off the tour i’ll do a quick little showcase of the outside as you can see we have these

Really nice detailed wall designs and also the trim as well is pretty detailed compared to what i usually do we’ve got some stairs here connecting to the pillars and also some trapdoors it kind of gives this little archway look with a lantern in the middle and we do have

Lanterns all the way around the sides of the base and this is just to keep the mobs at bay and also keep it looking bright at night time up here we have these nice archway designs it’s up to you if you want to leave these empty it

Looks good either way i just prefer to have them closed up so that’s of course your choice and yeah i spent a really long time trying to create this top roof it still looks a little bit weird in my opinion but i think it’s probably the best choice i could have gone with

Because this is even and not odd it’s hard to create a roof design for this but either way it looks alright now let’s head on to the interior and this of course will be very quick as this is all there is to see so we have 54 double chests in total

Which holds a bunch of items probably more than enough items then you’ll ever need for a survival world unless if you’re like an absolute hoarder like myself and we also have two extra barrels over here as well that’s more storage i forgot to account for and also

For ease of use we have some crafting blocks down here and a little bit of nice decoration and i’ve actually decided to cover up this top floor here now there is enough room up here for you to add in some things that you wanted you could add chests under here if you

Wanted more storage you could replace back here with a ladder to get up it’s it’s entirely up to you i mean go ahead and customize this build as much as you want and yeah so that’s pretty much the entire tour of the build pretty quick

One this time and if you want to create this one for yourself feel free to stick around and we’ll get started on the tutorial right now so to start off find a nice flat location and place the first block of each pillar to create an outline also if

You’re wondering why my clothes are all ripped it’s because i forgot to change my skin for a picture i made don’t worry i do change it back to normal in a few minutes now let’s raise up all of the pillars to the correct heights on the left and

Right side we’ll be raising these up to three higher in total and then on the front and back these pillars will be seven high in total and then connect the tallest pillars together on the front and back using some more spruce wood next let’s move on to the front wall

Design on the left side place in two stripped spruce blocks like this and then place in four glass panes add these spruce slabs on top and then in front of those place in some stone bricks and then also some sewn brick slabs on the left side place in a lantern some oak

Leaves in front of the window and then surround that with some signs chuck a spruce fence on these two cross points on the pillars and also chuck a lantern on top of those and then just repeat that left side wall design on the right side Next we’re going to create the pathway out of stone bricks and stone make sure this extends at least one block inside of the actual build as we’re going to be placing our doors on and these doors are actually going to be placed not on the same block in line

With the pillars but one block inside on those stone bricks and stone blocks that we placed and then above those two spruce doors place in two spruce trap doors and then in front of those trapdoors place in two spruce slabs just like this grab out your scaffolding head

Up to the top and firstly finish off the stone brick trim for the roof like this with some slabs and then as opposed to the bottom we’re gonna be placing some trapdoors on the actual same block as the pillars are in line with if that makes sense and then

Above those place in two spruce stairs and then we’re gonna create the trim for the very top roof design just follow along with me here Moving on to the side wall designs firstly place some upside down spruce stairs on the very top of all of the pillars place a spruce slab on top of one of those stairs and extend it all the way to the very edge and then place some spruce trap doors on

Either side of each of those spruce stair blocks then chuck some lanterns in each of the three gaps and then we can finally start on the actual wall design so start off by placing on the left and right side some strip spruce logs like i have on

The top and bottom place some spruce stairs and then in the center place a spruce trap door next onto the back wall design replace these grass blocks in between all of the pillars with some stripped spruce logs and then for the actual back wall design

All of these are going to be spruce trap doors and also repeat the same roof trim design that we did on the front place in some spruce slabs like this and then some stone bricks and then some stone brick slabs on the edge heading up to the top add in the rest of

The slabs here on either side for the roof trim and then for the top back wall we’re going to be placing in some more spruce trap doors and then along the top add in some upside down spruce stairs and then to finish off the back wall design just repeat that exact same roof

Trim design that we did on the front now onto the opposite side wall this is all sped up because it is exactly the same as the first sidewall that we created next grab out your scaffolding and head up to the top and we’re going to be

Filling in the rest of the roof design so the roof is actually really easy it is just extending that same shape of the trim all the way into the entire roof just with spruce slabs instead of stone brick slabs then on this part here we’re going to

Add in some strip spruce logs and then in these center parts we’re going to be adding in some actual spruce logs also these little spruce wood pillars that we’re creating here are in line with the ones on the bottom and then in each of these sections in

Between the spruce logs we’re going to be placing some upside down spruce stairs and also a spruce trap door in the middle which gives us this little archway look and then head to the opposite side and repeat all of that once again now with that all done grab out your

Scaffolding and head up to the very top and we’re just going to be extending that shape of the trim into the main roof once again by using spruce slabs All right now we’re all done with the exterior so it’s time to head on to the inside and we’re going to start off by creating this pathway we’re going to extend it all the way to the back also don’t forget to texture it with some stone bricks if you choose to

And now with that done let’s replace all of the rest of the grass in here with spruce planks next up it’s time to place in all of our double chests to do this we’re going to head to the very back of the wall on the left side and the right side afterwards

And we’re going to be placing these one away from the back and also one away from the front so we’re going to start off on the back as it makes things a little bit easier so one away from the very back we’re going to start placing the first chest and then we’re gonna

Place another two above that so it’s three high in total and to make placing easy you can hold shift and actually right click on the side of the chest and that way you can place it a lot easier instead of actually going inside of the chest so just keep filling in all of

Your chests And remember just make sure to leave a one block gap at the end here just like that and also at the end and now let’s repeat this exact same thing on the other side and now with all of that done let’s create the wooden little casing outline

Kind of thing that goes all the way around this so to do that we’re going to get some strip spruce wood and we’re going to place a row of them just like this right in front of these pillars here on either side and then we’re going

To go to the back and do the same thing now let’s add in our little details so on the top corner here on the same row of the top chest placing some upside down stairs and do the same on the bottom corners as well and now we’re going to cover in these

Gaps and up here with some trapdoors do the same on the back of course and now we’re actually going to extend these trapdoors out by an additional two so that they’re three blocks long in total and then in this gap here we’re going to have a wood block like this

And on that place on your lantern next up before we add on the final ceiling let’s go ahead and cover up these gaps here as you can see they are kind of just open it does look nice having them open but i mean it’s up to you i like to

Have them closed so to do that we’re going to place in some trapdoors and we’re gonna be placing them all along the top row like this and then just close them all up And then it’s time to add in our little ceiling design so to do that it’s really easy all we need is spruce stairs we’re going to place two just above these trapdoors here and then along this edge like this we’re going to place them all the way down to the end

And then do the same thing at the front we’re going to curve them around like this and place another strip of them just on the opposite side and that’s it for the roof now all that’s left to do is this little back area i actually lied we do have another

Thing to do but we’ll get to that afterwards um so at the back here on the very bottom we’re gonna place in two barrels just like this and then above it we’re gonna place some half slabs on the top of this block and then on top of the

Slabs place in some pots on the left one an azalea on the right one a blue orchid or your plants of choice it doesn’t really matter and now we’re gonna head to the left side in the middle and you can tell that’s the middle because the uh lantern is here so directly below

This we’re gonna destroy these three blocks do the same on the other side and then we’re just gonna add in some crafting blocks so we’re going to place a loom a crafting table and a smithing table and then just repeat this on the other side now you could of course replace these

With whatever you want you could chuck in an anvil you could put an anvil under there up there it doesn’t really matter customize this to your liking and with that the entire build is now completed if you enjoyed this video leave a like as it helps me out a lot more than you
