Minecraft players woke up today to a new video from FitMC that should make every server admin nervous. A previously unknown packet exploit turns ordinary sulfur cubes into hybrid TNT monsters that cannot die, cannot be picked up, and duplicate faster than anyone can clean them up.
How the glitch actually works
Sulfur cubes, added in the June Chaos Cubed update, absorb blocks and copy their physics. The exploit abuses client side packet timing to feed a cube both a TNT block and a priming trigger at once. The result is a cube stuck in primed state forever, invincible to every removal method including buckets, shears, or explosions.

- Feed a large sulfur cube slime balls to grow it further
- Apply the dual item packet to lock in TNT primed properties
- Duplicate the hybrids with basic redstone or repeated feeding
- Drop them near players or spawn points to lag or corrupt the world
The creator behind the footage, Etianl, demonstrates thousands of these cubes spawning in seconds. Once placed they expand, ignore damage, and eventually force server restarts or permanent world file corruption. Normal anti grief tools do nothing.

FitMC notes that 2b2t remains untouched for now because it deliberately stays one major version behind. Every other updated Java server, anarchy or not, sits wide open. The video has already sparked tests on smaller realms and the usual race between exploit users and plugin developers trying to patch it.
All Minecraft servers, including 2b2t, are now at risk. You can create thousands of these invincible monstrosities with just a handful of simple items.

The exploit does not require mods on the server side. A modified client is enough to trigger the packet sequence. Mojang has not commented yet, but the mechanics were public in the 26.2 release notes and the glitch has been live for weeks before today explosion of awareness.
